i think hbo titans is a shit show but something about their dick and jason relationship really tickles my brain if only they actually developed on it well
#blu talks#blu is dcposting#maybe its cuz we've never gotten to see that relationship portrayed in movies shows video games before#even the animated film took dick out of the picture when jason showed up again#i just feel like#they came in so strong with this is jason hes a little shithead but he hero worships you and hes kind of a goober#little police punching ceiling jump tapping theatre kid (thespian) little brother boy#and then they failed to make any meaningful connection between the two of them until jason was about to leap off a roof#too much of dick (and the titans in general) being annoyed at jason and not enough of him begrudgingly endeared/affectionate about jason#its just jason is a little shithead#yes but you like him#yes but you hate him#but you like him#hes brash and has too many broken edges but hes so desperate to do good so cant you work with that#being annoying and kind of an asshole at 17/18/19 is not the worst crime in the world im sorry to break it to everyone#ugh titans jason baby im sorry they did you like that
