Au: What if humans had pokemon types?
The idea struck me after seeing some of @bluebellowl ‘s art of Ingo and Emmet wielding flames and electricity and I was thinking ooo what if humans had typings.
Then I made an au with a bunch of headcanons…

(Almost forgot to add that I took some inspo from @critterbitter ‘s Elesa hairstyle because I love how they draw her hair in the back all spiky, electricy like in some of their drawing just yes)
- most humans are purely 1 type, but a rare person may have a dual typing. (Ingo and Emmet are dual types that cover their least publicly liked typing with their more favorable type)
- Some types are more stigmatized and feared than others for have abilities/features that are frightening: Bug, Ghost, Psychic, Poison and Dark types are the 5 most stigmatized groups.
- Most humans have very small or weak abilities, but some are capable of amazing feats.
- Humans tend to favor pokemon partners that share their typings since it’s easier to connect and communicate but some people do like opposite or different typings.
- When babies are born, they’re given a test to see what type they are so their parents will know how to handle their abilities.
- Each types abilities include:
Normal - Sadly, this typing doesn’t get much special abilities. They’re normal humans. A very, very rare normal type can send a hyper beam out of their mouth.
Fire - Can control small flames and are fire resistant. They can warm their bodies up to feverish temperatures without being sick. Some can breathe fire and have flame like hair. Fire types often have irrational fears of water.
Water - They can control small amounts of water. Their skin gets dried out easily and they have to take showers frequently or have humidifiers in their homes. A few individuals have gills that allows them to breathe fully underwater.
Grass - They can breathe life into plants and cause flowers to bloom. If they have a garden, they’ll produce giant and delicious fruit. Some can make plants move on their own, but this is a rare ability. When happy, a lot of grass-type people will sprout plants on their heads. Some even have plant like hair.
Electric - Able to cause small electric shocks and store bits of electricity. Can turn off and on appliances without touching them. Those who take time to learn can communicate with electric Pokémon using the electrical language all electric types know. They can also talk to humans in electric language who are electric types as well.
Ice - Freezing to the touch and tolerant to below zero temps. They can freeze the surface of water by touching their hand to it. They’re a rare type that hardly leave frosty mountain cities and towns because they’re prone to overheating in warmer weather.
Fighting - Stronger than other humans, but few reach true inhumane strength. Rare individuals have an extra set of arms like Machamp. Most take pride in their strength and hone their skills their entire lives.
Poison - Immune to poisons, some even have poisonous breath or saliva. Most of them have to wear masks around people who aren’t fellow poison types. Some individuals have multicolored skin, like frogs warning others that they’re dangerous. People of this type like steel types, because they can remove their masks for once around these people who are immune to them.
Ground - Can feel vibrations in the ground and if they learn, can properly use this as another sense of sight and see things underground. Rare individuals can make the ground shake and have long claws for digging. Some families are known for living underground where they feel more at ease.
Flying - they have a very keen eye for long distance sight. Lots of people with this type have wings. Not all can fly, since one needs large wings and hollow bones to do so, but some can. Most however are gliders. Some have feathers instead of body hair.
Psychic - People with this type usually have one “talent” ability, such as levitating objects or seeing the future. It’s rare for an individual to have more than one of these talents but it has happened before. They’re seen as power houses amongst the other types for their special abilities and usually are seen offering their services in exchange for coin.
Bug - They can attract a lot of bug type pokemon to them via pheromones and with practice, they can even control them. Like ants, bug types can talk through pheromones like alerting to danger, creating trails, or even just generally talking like electric types do (its not all just attracting mates although bugs are more likely to be attracted to other bug people) Grass types dislike the smell of bug types, whereas flying types get hungry around them. Rumor has it that bugs can control others through their pheromones but its just a rumor. Pheromones make it easy to persuade, but can’t truly control people.
Rock - They have skin as tough as rocks and most can dig through rock itself. Rare people look like a cluster of rocks themselves. They dislike water since it erodes away their skin, so they take mud baths and showers instead.
Ghost- Many can float above the ground and go through walls. Similar to ice types, They are cold to the touch. They can see ghost type pokemon even if they are invisible. Rare abilities are being able to see and commune with human spirits. (And only once a century is there an individual who has truly open eyes and can see the entire world of the dead walking amongst the living) People who fear this type spread rumors that ghost types are evil and can raise the dead to do their bidding, but these are only rumors.
Dragon - Noble types that are descended from long blood lines. A lot of individuals have scales and wings and claws. Rare ones can breathe fire. Once in every 100 years there will be a dragon-type who can communicate and wield their type’s pokemon with high efficiency, even mighty legendaries. Families of dragons can be very prideful and look down on other types. Noble families don’t like their children mingling or marrying other types.
Dark - A stigmatized group to the point that their typing is labeled as the “evil” type in some languages. Many have a bad luck effect on the people around them and some can sense disasters before they happen. Dark types often are lonely because of their bad luck charm abilities make other people wary of them.
Steel - Most in this group have skin that shines like a type of metal and are able to bend metals in their hands. They’re immune to poison and bug types abilities, and often are friends with these stigmatized types because of this.
Fairy - This group have small magical abilities and unluck the dark type, they have a lucky effect around them. Some individuals have wings, some have unnaturally colored hair. Fairies have a high social standings with other types because they’re thought to do nothing wrong, when fairies actually often have trouble makers in the midst of them taking advantage of this.

Expanded Storytelling Relationship Bits Mod
I'm so excited about this! Revamp your Sims' relationships and unlock a world of storytelling possibilities with Custom Relationship Bits!
Whenever I play the game I always wanted to be able to visually see how each relationship was different so I thought it would be a great idea to add more relationship bits in the game.
I don't know if I am the only one who loves to open the Sim Info Panel and look at the different relationship descriptions between sims. Gone are the days of generic labels like "Friend" or "Romantic Interest." With Custom Relationship Bits, you can now give your Sims personalized and meaningful relationship titles that reflect their unique connections. From "Childhood Sweetheart" to "Love-Hate Relation" and a lot more, the possibilities are endless.
This mod is perfect for storytellers who want more depth and nuance in their Sims' relationships. Some of the custom relationship titles add depth to your Sims' interactions and help to shape their narratives.
You can access the relationship bit option my pressing on the target sim while you are in control of the sim with whom you want to set the relationship by clicking on actions and then the Enhanced Rel Bit Pie Menu.
Above you can see all of the possible relationship bits you can choose from. They also each have their own description. (The Secret Admirer Rel Bit is the only one-sided bit)
Some of the relationship bits have interactions that come with them. I would love to make more and expand on them but I don't know if this is something you would be interested in so let me know.
More about some of the interactions:
Travel to Visit Long Distance Partner will have your sim leave the house for about two days and return with possible different moodlets.
With the virtual date option your sim will video call their long-distance partner for a few hours and it will make them really happy.
Star-crossed lovers can share a forbidden kiss. And sims who have a love-hate relationship can share an "I hate you"(kiss).
That is all for this mod! A lot of it is cosmetic, But I think it can really help relationships between sims feel more distinct.

Some interactions aren't showing
The interactions depend on the relationship bit you may have with a sim. For example, only sims who have had a summer romance can "Share Summer Memories. Only Study Buddies can quiz each other, only long-distance relationship simmers can have virtual dates etc...

Ocean Life Mod by MathModder (In Progress)
What you need to know:
This mod seamlessly integrates oceanic creatures into your game map, spawning naturally in the vast expanse of the ocean. Featuring Whales, Dolphins, Sharks, Seals, and various accompanying effects, the experience is enhanced as some animals gracefully breach the water's surface while others elegantly swim near the shore.
How do I make them appear in the ocean?
If your world already has the sailing boat effect like in Sunset Valley, they will appear naturally, spawning little by little without crowding your ocean.
For worlds that don't have this effect, you may be adding the "sailboats" effect to the CAW to make them appear.
There is another way you can do it without needing to go to CAW, which I will explain in a soon-to-be-released video, so in your save you can manually place it without having to edit the world.
How many files will there be?
Will be a maximum of 2 to 3 files.
It is worth mentioning that some files maybe will need to be placed in the Overrides folder and others in the Packages folder, they will all be specified at launch.
Is this mod compatible with other effect mods?
Yes, it will be compatible.
Bugs:
Animals always spawn at sea level. In case your city is very flat in relation to sea level, some whales might occasionally leap high and appear on land, but this seldom happens as land surfaces in worlds are usually a few meters above sea level.

Realisations and Apologies
Kita Shinsuke from Haikyuu!!
an/tw: just kita being mean. and woahhh no way? a new update? thats crazy. okay have fun reading. sorry if my writing is a little rusty

It is known for Kita Shinsuke to have a strict routine. No matter what obstacles he may encounter, he will never let it disturb his peace. However, there was an annoying bug that had been flying by his ear. Disturbing his line of work. Putting all of this strict timely routine to break. This greatly frustrates the dual haired wing spiker more than the irritating behaviours from the Miya twins.
[Name], a libero whom he met from the volleyball club at Junior High. Someone who he deeply cares for and who returns the same exact feelings towards him. Shinsuke was never the one to like people pitying him. That's another thing that he hates. However, with [Name], it never felt like that. It was like the light that guided his pathway to success. It was normal. Everything felt normal. Maybe that was the reason why he accepted the [h/c] haired's confession.
Unfortunately for the wing spiker, it was a terrible add-on to his routine. No, [Name] is not even in his routine at all. The libero would change Shinsuke's routine frequently. Often asking him out for a date. For practice. For anything. Even if it means to get a small chance to chat with his lover. [Name] only thoughts were that he wanted to spend time with his boyfriend. For Shinsuke, it was disturbing his peace. The dual haired male never thought it would. Ever. Yet, it did. And it was frustrating him more than it should.
Practice just ended, and everyone was walking out of the gymnasium to get home. "Suke~, let's go on a date tonight! What do you think? We should get dinner as well. I'm sure you're exhausted from using that amazing brain of yours for the team," [Name] chuckled, walking side by side with his lover. Reaching down to intertwine his fingers with his. Unexpectedly, Shinsuke yanked his arm away from the other, surprising him. He stared at him in shock, including with a few teammates who were watching from behind.
"Quit it," he blunty demanded before continuing his walk out of the gym. "Ah- Suke? Is something wrong-?"
"Yes. It's you. You're disrupting my routine. Every time you ask me out, you ruin it. So quit it. We have gone to enough dates now," he snapped back. [Name] was taken aback by his boyfriend's sudden change in behaviour. But he tries to laugh it off. "What am I then if I'm not asking you out ever so often?" he teased with a lighthearted laugh. Only get shut down immediately. Completely shut down.
"You're my boyfriend who couldn't do well in the sport that he loves," Suddenly there was ringing in [Name]'s ears. He was left speechless. Eyes widening at Shinsuke's words. The other members were shocked by that as well. That was the first time Shinsuke has ever belittled someone like that. To make it worse, he was talking about his own boyfriend.
"O-Oi, Kita. You can't talk about [Name] like that. He works harder than all of us," Aran called out to him, trying to stop these lovers before a quarrel starts. But it only seemed to add more oil to the fire. "And why is that? With your sloppy receives, there's a reason why you weren't cut out to be our regular libero. Akagi is better than you. You lack intelligence and plays. That's what makes you a bad player. Hence, Akagi is more talented in that area. You just exist to be an unsuccessful subtitute that will drag us down for future roads to nationals,"
A sense of dread filled [Name]'s whole body. Wondering why Shinsuke was saying all this. But it annoys him because it's true. After Junior High, [Name] could not bring out his full potential like he used to. He looks down to his arms, seeing all the red marks from receiving powerful spikes from Aran and the other wonderful hitters in the team. He stayed silent for a moment until another third year spoke up.
Akagi jolted when he heard his name being mentioned. Upon hearing what the team captian had said, he came to [Name]'s aid. "Kita! You shouldn't be harsh to [Name]! He genuinely works hard! Just like the rest of us. He always asks tips from me. He's pretty determined when it comes to his position!" he encouraged the [h/c] head. Patting his back as a way to say that he did well. "A substitute libero," the captian retorted.
"Are you saying that I'm not good enough for this team?" [Name] blurted out. Everyone seemed to visibly shake hearing that. Then, the substitute libero let out an exhilarated sigh. "You're right. I should've worked harder. Sorry, captain',"
"Also," Shinsuke started. Facing the front where the grym doors are. "I would like to break up with you. So please. Don't ever come to me again," he proposed. [Name] could only bite his lower lip harshly. "Woah, isn't that too much, Kita?" Suna furrowed his brows a little. Shinsuke actively ignores him and takes a step forward. Leaving everyone to go home.
The ones left in the gymnasium looked at [Name] in pity. All of them came to his side, trying to comfort him to their best. But [Name] could only brush it off. Pretending that it was one of Inarizaki's harsh critiques.
The very next day, it was lunch period. Both Shinsuke and Omimi were taking out their lunchboxes to eat in class. Omimi looked over to the other. "Are you not going to eat with [Name]? Usually, you two eat together somewhere quiet,"
"[Name] and I have separated," he replied, lifting the lid open. "So it's true then. You guys have broken up," he took a bite from his bento. "So I've heard from [Name]. I've also heard from coach that he had stepped down from volleyball. He said he would rather focus on his studies and that he wished us good luck for nationals,"
"Good for him,"
"Are you not surprised? You two may have broken up, but don't you still care about one another? He relies on you a lot,"
"I know that very well," that puts a tense atmosphere between them. Anyone else in the classroom would feel suffocated. Omimi stared at the other in disbelief. "I misjudged your character, Kita. I never knew you would be this heartless," That was the first time he was ever described by something so negative.
A week has passed and after school practice came around. Everything was going well. Except something was missing. Someone was missing. However, Shinsuke maintains his observation with his current team.
The coach entered the gymnasium with a piece of clothing draped over his arm. He let out a sigh and called the boys for a short meeting. He had informed them that one of the third years had stepped down. "As some of you realise, [Name] has stopped coming to practice. The reason is that he had decided to step down from the club. Due to him studying, he won't be able to be here and watch you guys play at Spring High. I'm just here to deliver a message from him. He only wishes all of you the best for the nationals," he announced. Aside from the boys being freaked out by it, Atsumu was the first one to speak up defensively. "What?! There's no way we can continue without [N/n]!! He's the only one who could receive this guy's spikes!" he argued, pointing at Suna with his thumb. Suna glared at him in return.
"Seriously, why the sudden leave? Is there another reason? He loves volleyball! It's so obvious that you could see it in his face," he continued to ramble on. The coach only shook his head, saying that there was no other reason. Though a few may think they knew the answer. But everything is alleged. The only true reason will come out once [Name] says it with his own mouth.
Everyone took notice of the clothing that their coach had. It was a jersey, freshly washed and dried. They read the number on it. Number 16. The number that [Name] wore. For some reason, that made everyone's heart feel heavy. While a certain someone felt extremely guilty.
There Shinsuke was. Standing in front of his ex-boyfriend's house. It has come to a realisation how [Name] would rarely allow him to get into his house. He has been there once. Never been there again. It felt a little foreign for the male. But that's not the main reason why he's there.
He stepped forward and gave a couple of knocks. Footsteps came fading it, making blood rush through his body. A little tinge of hope that the [h/c] head would answer. The door clicked, and a long screech sounded. It wasn't [Name] who answered the door, but his father.
"Kita Shinsuke? What are you doing here?" the male asked with a raised brow. "Is [Name] home?" he took a bow before asking. "Yes. He is. Studying his in his room. I'm so glad he stepped down from volleyball. Surely, who wants their son to go through something he can't do? Sure, he used to be a prodigy, but it's better if he focused on his studies. I'm also glad that you were able to get him to leave that club. How did you do it?" he smiled, placing his hand on his hips. That only made Shinsuke eat his guts. He couldn't say much from that. He didn't dare to explain how much he hurt his son from saying unnecessary things.
The dual haired shook his head. "Can I speak with [Name] for a moment?" he politely asked. "Of course. He has been in his room for all day long right after he came back from school. He has been quiet as usual. I'm sure he's tired. Oh. Speak of the devil," he trailed off, hearing someone climbing down the stairs. "Oh. Kita?" [Name] mumbled, walking towards his father. He gave him a look as a signal for him to leave them alone. After the older male left, he smiled at the wing spiker. "What are you doing here?"
"I would like to talk to you, [Name]," Shinsuke fiddled his fingers a little. His body seem to be itching to move. "I'm sorry, Kita but--" the taller male was about to deny but the other leap himself into a tight hug with him. [Name] was a little dumbfounded but didn't return the hug.
"OHHH MY GOD----"
Everyone now was in [Name]'s bedroom. Everyone meaning the whole volleyball club members. Apparently, all of then were stalking Shinsuke and ended up there. Currently, they were kneeling on the floor while Shinsuke and [Name] sat on the bed. "We're sorry, [N/n]!!" Atsumu wept. "We? Who's we? You dragged us here!" Osamu exclaimed, hitting his twin's head with his fist. The others seemingly nodding in agreement. "[N/n]... Why did you leave us? Don't you love volleyball anymore? Do you hate us now?!" the blonde twin whined while crawling up to the older's legs. He sighed heavily and glanced to the side. "I don't hate you guys. I left because I rather focus on my future,"
"Volleyball isn't part of your future anymore?" the younger ask. His shoulders fell, exhausted. "Volleyball is no longer fun if you're not good at it," Some of them furrowed their brows at that statement. "Of course. For the ones that happened to be there that day, no, it wasn't because of Kita. He only made me realised how much I hate volleyball," he paused for a moment, sensing his ex's subtle shift on the bed. "Some of you think Kita breaking up with me was wrong-"
"YOU GUYS BROKE UP??" Atsumu yelled. "You idiot, obviously they are. [N/n] calls him Kita now," his twin shoved him. The rest only sighed heavily in annoyance. "As I was saying, I agree with you. It was horrible. Never felt so shitty in my entire life. At the worst time of my life too," he sighed, rubbing down his thighs. That piqued everyone's interest. Questioning onto their senior's life.
"My parents have never been so supported of me playing Volleyball. Everyday they discourage me but I had every one of you to keep my spirits up. Until as of late. Exams are coming close and my parents has bugging me excessively about quitting the club. It was getting to me to the point I couldn't play as how I used to. So when Kita told me that all of that, it felt like I didn't have no ways to move on," he ended his explanation there. Silence dominated the atmosphere.
Arms suddenly wrapped around the older's neck. It was Shinsuke's. Pulling him into another hug. "I'm sorry, [Name]," he uttered, tightening his embrace. The other exhaled as he melted into the hug, wrapping his arms back. "I shouldn't have said that about you. You are an amazing volleyball player. An amazing libero. An amazing boyfriend too," he mumbled into the crook of the [h/c]'s neck. The male could feel his skin feeling a little wet.
That was the first time in a while where Shinsuke said more than one sentence. Other than the time when he literally berated his own boyfriend right in front of his teammates. Overwhelm filled [Name] as he grabbed a fistful of the back of other's jacket and began sobbing. This triggered the boys to tear up as well. One by one, they stood up from their spot and hug the two. Slowly building up a group hug.
In the end, everyone went home. [Name] and Shinsuke called. The dual haired initiated the call first. Apologizing and apologizing. This time he was careful with his words. The two finally made up and got together again.
The next day, [Name] showed up for the team's practice hours. However, he was only there to send Shinsuke to the gym since he had already made the decision to stop playing for the team and focused on his education instead. He had to leave right after but Atsumu had found himself clinging onto him. Begging him to not leave. [Name] eventually gave in and watched them play for a few minutes.
Shinsuke stood by his boyfriend with a water bottle in hand. He silently slid his fingers in between the taller male's. Locking it in hold. He didn't say anything but [Name] could still feel the guilt radiating off of him. Then he felt weight leaning onto him. Shinsuke laying his head onto his shoulders. "Are you tired?" he asked. The volleyball player only nodded. He hummed softly. "Okay. If you don't mind, I will pick you up once it's finished. Or do you want to keep sticking to your routine?" A gentle squeeze from their connected hands gave him the answer that he needed. So, he hummed once more. "Okay then. I'll pick you up once it's over," he says, turning to look at his lover and leaned down for a simple peck on the head. A small smile reached Kita Shinsuke's lips.

Na'vi mating with a human [1 on 1] Headcannon.
Hello, so after the great success of my first head cannons, I thought I do another. This time, just One Na'vi with one human. If you have not read the Poly head canon, I have put the link to it. You don't have to read it if ya don't want to, I will try not to cross them both. This is just my thoughts and ideas. You guys are welcome to use them as head starts for a possible fic, or use as reference. But please do credit me.

If there are ranks to go by in the Na'vi tribe, you have the leaders on the highest top, and second to them, or, one rank below them is true mighty warriors.
They are successful warriors, hunters, and teachers for the future generation.
The mighty warriors are just as trusted as the people's Olo'eyktan and Tsahik.
So, after a few years of being mateless, the Olo'eyktan and Tsahik and decided to help him expand. By granting his permission to seek being the Na'vi people and see a potential human mate.
That is IF the might warriors choose a human for a mate. But none the less, a huge honor as only the two leaders can ever have a human for a mate.
To have a human mate can mean higher respect from the local Na'vi and as means to show where they lie in ranks of the tribe.
Of course having a human for a mate doesn't mean the mighty warrior can treat his human mate like a trophy to show off or treat them as bugs.
Having a human mate is the same as having a na'vi for a mate. To see them as an equal and to be just as loved and as well cherished.
Because not just any na'vi can have a human for a mate.
Because of massive differences, its not uncommon for some small clash to happen. Aside from language barrier, its a must for humans to learn the na'vi language so they can communicate and understand na'vi in general.
However, for the warrior's view on life, it changes drastically. From having the need to protect a whole clan, to the urge to protect their little mate.
They develop a soft spot for their human mate only. One they keep away from the other na'vi as means to protect their pride but also the privacy of their human mate.
As mate to a warrior, who returns with some form of cuts or bruises, it is essential for the human to learn at lease basics of healing. What better teacher than the Tsahik?
Being soft and easily breakable in the Pandora environment, the human mate would require extra protection. From being constantly watched over should they wish to explore the forest, down to how the home is to be full of soft and cushion materials.
Biologically speak, should na'vi and human have sexual activities, I don't think its easy, or possible to have a child between the two. Unless the human is an avatar then that is more than possible. but if it just a human only with no avatar body.
Planning for a future family may seem a impossibility, unless adoption or by the blessings of Ewya can they have kids.
That is all I got. dunno if I should make another, but again, I might add some stuff should an idea hit me. Whole knows. But I hope you all enjoyed it!

Why do you make characters like Miguel or Miles call the Reader "mami"? Is it something Latin American I'm missing? is because I saw the movies in spanish? Anyway, thats NOT the problem, the problem is... DO YOU ONLY KNOW THAT WORD OF ENDEARMENT???
I know what it means. I am Spanish (but, from Spain, specifically). I SPEAK SPANISH. But you will never hear anyone in Spain call someone affectionately mommy or daddy... UNLESS they are married and have children.
Side note, none of you are as bad as you think with Spanish, but you may have problems with the gender of words (understandable, English is more gender neutral one of the few things I like about it, but in Spanish, the masculine form OR ENDING IN "O" it is Usually generalized as neutral too, but not always).
Cariño = all genders (dear)
Cariña = congrats, Inhabitant of a Latin American town, not to be confused with carina.
cielo = literally sky (yo never sais "ciela")
Bolita= small ball (is cute, to chubby, rounded people, BOLITO, is NOT a word, bolita goes for any gender)

Also, these turned out quite long (and I probably could've made them even longer, given how much I love this character), but I think/hope that you won't mind lol.
Also, not proofread, so sorry about any mistakes! Headcannons are below the cut.
First of all, he definitely calls you 'Peaches' or 'Peach' like, all the time. He will only call you by your name if he wants to show you that he's serious. Also he will occasionally use other nicknames, such as 'babe', 'honey', 'sweetheart'. But that's rare, 'Peaches' is still his favorite.
You are probably the only person he's willing to share his peach flavored chips with.
Also, he's kinda clingy and touch starved as hell. Can you really blame him though? This monkey was pretty much all alone for a few centuries.
So Wukong is almost always touching you in some kind of way when you are near him, even when you're somewhere public or not hugging or cuddling. Either hand holding, or he will curl his tail around your ankle or some more subtle things like that.
He will often groom your hair in search for bugs the way monkeys do if you sit next to each other. He knows you take good care of your hair and there's absolutely no way any bugs or insects could be in it. But it's an instinct, he can't help it. You don't mind however, he's so gentle when he does that that it's actually very relaxing.
He's touch starved to the point when if you have to get up while cuddling, he will whine quietly. But if you ask/tease him about it, Wukong will huff and deny it while claiming that you're just hearing things.
I have a headcannon that while he is very strong and all, his body isn't actually that muscular. In fact, he is a bit chubby. He's quite soft and squishy in a good way- I mean just look at him in the beach scene in season 4, he totally has a 'dad bod'- and you love it. Wukong's body is perfect for hugging.
I imagine his hugs being just the right amount of tight 👌 He's always warm and soft and actually smells really good- he smells of peaches and leaves.
Wukong loves hugging and being hugged, so you can hug him almost whenever you feel like it and he absolutely won't mind.
Call him Sunshine or Sunny or anything Sun related. Please do, he will literally melt.
Overall, Wukong's main love languages are: words of affirmation, quality time and touch.
We already know from the show that Wukong has no problem with words of affirmation, seeing how he constantly encourages MK and it is visible that he means every word. So this monkey will always and often tell you that he loves you and that you mean so much to him. You can count on him if you want some kind words to make you feel better. He may not be the best in terms of logical advice, but somehow you believe him every time he says it's going to be okay. Wukong also makes sure to tell you each day how good you look and say "I love you" at least once a day.
As for quality time, Sun really loves to spend time with you, it doesn't matter what activity. Although he prefers activities either at home or away from big crowds. He doesn't like to show himself in public spaces, the most he'll do is go with you to the cinema or maybe some not very well known restaurant or something. But he really loves to watch movies on his TV or laptop with you snuggled up to him on the couch. Wukong also loves taking you on walks around Flower Fruit Mountain or taking you for flights on his cloud. Honestly, as I said, to him it doesn't really matter what you do as long as he gets to spend time with you.
I already said some things about touch, but I can add that for some reason Wukong loves when you scratch him behind the ears, boop/gently pet his nose with your finger or pet his tail. These parts of him are quite sensitive, and he loves how gentle you are. He will literally turn into a puddle in your hands lol.
This monkey loves kissing you on the cheeks. Or poking you on them.
Generally when he's in the right mood he likes to teasingly poke you in various places on your body. And if you do it right back at him, it turns into either a poking or tickling battle, ending up with both of you laughing your butts off and snuggling with each other.
Sun sometimes likes to rub his cheek against yours.
Okay enough touch for now, I could go on and on about Wukong and physical affection lmao
You sometimes watch your boyfriend train MK when you have the time. You roll your eyes often at Wukong's smugness but at the same time you can't help but think how cool and badass he can be.
The Monkey King loves it when you watch them train, MK not so much, due to the fact that Wukong shows off a lot more when you are around and thus he is a bit harsher in training and more distracted, making it difficult for poor MK (that doesn't change the fact that MK really likes you and appreciates how happy you make his mentor).
This man is such a tease and a flirt sometimes honestly. He uses the most basic and overrated pick up lines just to annoy you. Be careful not to get flustered by any, because he won't ever let you forget it and will be proud as a peacock. Although it is slightly adorable that he's so proud that he got you flustered.
But sometimes you engage in his pick up lines shenanigans and tease him back or make fun of those lines.
"Did it hurt when you fell from the Celestial Realm Peaches?"
"Yeah, it hurt like hell, I landed on my butt."
Causing you both to laugh your butts off for a few solid minutes lmao.
Peaches or peach chips are the main things he eats, so prepare for always having a peach taste in your mouth after kissing him. Not that you complain, you actually like that fruit (although not as much as Wukong does).
By the way, he will absolutely swoon if you kiss him in front of other people out of nowhere (especially if you pull him by his shirt in order to do that); lovesick smile, dreamy eyes and tail shaped like a heart, the whole package lol.
Sometimes Sun likes to visit you at work or randomly pop in while you're somewhere public in the form of a bird or other small animal and just hang out with you, whispering comments about everyone and everything into your ear in this funny high pitched voice (I actually have a headcannon that while transforming his voice is higher the smaller the animal and the other way around)
If you're up for it, Wukong would love to teach you a few fighting or defense techniques. It would also make him much more relaxed and calm knowing that you have at least some basic knowledge on how to protect yourself, just in case. He'll always try to be there to protect you, but he can't promise that he will always make it on time or at all. He may be retired but still has some duties and other things to do.
A bit of a sad thing is, you both often think to yourselves; am I good enough for him/her? How in the world did I deserve such an amazing person as him/her in my life?
Wukong always tries to be happy, and hides his problems, fears or negative emotions behind his jokes and goofy attitude. I'm not saying that his personality is fake, he is a happy and goofy person most of the time, but there are some random days when he has trouble keeping it all in and fails to put on the facade that everything is okay.
If you want to help him in these times, basically all you have to do is sit there with him and be by his side. Give him a tight hug and sit with him in silence or maybe hum/sing something quietly if you want. Honestly your presence alone brings him a huge comfort; knowing that there is someone who loves him even with all his flaws, accepts him with everything he hides inside and with his past mistakes.
Overall, Sun Wukong has his problems and flaws, but he really tries to be the kind of boyfriend he thinks you deserve. And honestly you think he's doing a very good job; he is a very good boyfriend, maybe even the best in all the realms as you like to say <3

Betelgeuse
I was hugely inspired by a bunch of artists and fic writers in the fandom, as well as a few monster artists who specialize in combining different creatures into beasts that actually look cohesive. I’m not sure how well I was able to execute the vision here, but I’m really proud of it regardless!
DiamondZ, nonbinary-arsonist, stinkyhorsebitch, and arbuzyansky were the main catalysts for this, so definitely take a peek at their work or give them a follow.
I was initially going to submit this guy for a staff art show, but I don't want to rush the rest of it, so I'm just going to post what I have finished here.

In earlier drafts, I was looking into more serpentine-looking designs since Beetlejuice turns into a snake in the film. Some of the concepts I was leaning towards looked like either a lindworm or centipede, but I think mammalian fits Musicaljuice since he’s “softer” in a lot of aspects compared to his film counterpart. I may look into playing with a more snake/bug-like design in the future. Beetlejuice’s overall look is heavily inspired by Chalicotherium goldfussi, which were huge Miocene ungulates that are distantly related to things like rhinos and tapirs. Given that Beetlejuice is super old, I felt like an extinct animal was a proper fit. On a more personal level, I really like the way these guys look and it was easier to rework their body plan into something that looks carnivorous. That, and I wasn’t really vibing with other mammalian body plans, especially because I wanted something that was close in shape to a human without being apelike. Huge herbivores also have larger stomachs, which I feel is a better analogue to Beetlejuice’s body type. You’ll have to pry that man’s curves from my cold, dead hands. All his forms are chubby and soft, and I’ll fight you over it in the Denny’s parking lot.
I also added some hyaenid traits, especially for the head shape and teeth. Hyenas are very social animals (like Beej, except no one can see him), and striped hyenas and aardwolves specifically have these tall crests of fur that run down their backs and back legs that they can raise and lower to communicate. I’d argue it’s fitting since Beetlejuice’s hair sticks up at odd angles and communicates his mood (intentional or not). And hyenas laugh. Granted they giggle when they’re stressed, but it still fits. I modeled his stripes off of both species as well.
His hind paws, ears, and tail are all based off of those of opossums. Beej is very “trash animal”-coded, and I felt like the opossum traits would fit better with the Chalicotherium body than something like a raccoon or skunk.
I felt a little bad about not giving him a ton of bug traits, so I tried to add mandibles, but they just weren’t looking right in earlier design drafts. I gave him a bunch of small eyes to compensate, but making him look buggy wasn’t the only reason for the extra eyes. We know from early drafts of the musical script that Beetlejuice’s last name is Shoggoth. These creatures are mentioned by Lovecraft in Fungi from Yuggoth and At the Mountains of Madness, but I’m not sure if this implies that Beej is a shoggoth, or if it more so refers to him being able to manifest multiple limbs/shapeshift/warp reality like one.
In that same vein, the mouth in his chest is mostly to look scary and is just another fun little Lovecraftian trait that I felt was needed. Same to the tendrils, but that’s also a common fandom trait that is pretty much canon (to me) at this point.
I might rb this with headcanons later on.

Random list of things that bug me with portrayals of the Fanged Four in many fics:
Drusilla looking down on Spike/him not being "enough of a demon" for her.
Drusilla was thrilled with how Spike turned out. Seriously, look at their flashback scenes again - she adored him from the moment she set eyes on William. There are few moments of disapproval. When those happen she just looks at him with confusion and lets him get on with whatever he's doing.
Darla being (just) a materialistic ice queen. Super cold, barely any emotion outside of when there's torture or jewels involved.
Despite being very scornful of humans and sentiment, Darla was incredibly passionate and expressive. She was one of the most vibrant members of their family. This gal loved life. She could be very cold, but she was also often filled with emotion - she expressed joy, rage, sadness, even nurturing on occasion.
Darla blindly following along with Angelus or entirely letting him run the show. Often portrayed as her being too stupid/vapid to lead.
Darla was Angelus' sire. She taught him how to be who he was. She guided him along until he was able to stand on his own two feet. She was opinionated and had no problem leaving or killing him if he stepped out of line. Hell, she'd betray him just to add a bit of excitement to their lives.
The thing is, Angelus and Darla were partners. It may sometimes seem like one was letting the other have control, but their desires were almost always in sync. There didn't need to be a leader between the two of them because they were largely on the same page. That's why their relationship lasted as long as it did. I think this is one of the biggest things that gets neglected in fanfic.
Darla being less of a sadist than Angelus.
Darla was every bit as hungry as Angelus was. She egged him on, he came up with increasingly horrible forms of torture to entertain them both. It's not an accident that Valentine's Day was a very special holiday for Angelus.
Darla and Angelus being nothing but abusers to Drusilla and Spike.
There was friction between all members of the family at times. All were also shown to have some fondness for each other. Darla and Drusilla ended up being very close, as were Spike and Angelus.
Angelus (and sometimes Darla) despising everything about humanity and caring about nothing but hunting.
Angelus canonically had a good amount of appreciation for the finer things humans had created. He disliked how the Order of Aurelius lived apart from humanity in sewers, only going up to feed. He lured Darla away from the Master by promising her a better way of life, one where she could actually live.
Angelus cried at the ballet. He loved art, music, and having a good time. The two traveled the world. He's fluent in at least 10 languages, implying he had an interest in being able to communicate with people. Angelus and Darla were the OG party couple, committed to living their lives to the fullest.
Spike being disgusted by violence or having a genuine conscience pre-chip.
This shouldn't even need to be elaborated on imo. Sure, he was less into sadism than the others. But the idea that he had a shred of moral outrage over anything the other 3 did is ridiculous to me. This is the guy who gleefully hired a pedophile to torture Angelus.
Imo differences in his killing style isn't about morals or having more humanity, it's about what interests him. Like how some humans are super into football and others are like, "Ew, why? Sounds boring af."
Spike not enjoying Dru getting rough in the bedroom.
He is canonically a masochist.

Toxic! Riri Williams x poc FEM reader
Synopsis: After seeing you all buddy buddy with another ex Riri is fuming and takes it upon herself to pay you a visit.
Warning: out of character Riri Williams this is a toxic fic it wasn’t supposed to be but I let my hands guide me and turns out I like drama. Also there are some words that some might not be too fund of when it comes to the spicier scene.
Riri tries her best to control her breathing or calm her heart as it sets on fire from the inside of her chest it's like she can quite literally feel it being pulled out of place and squashed like a bug beneath a church shoe. It suffocates her and you would think that this would make her sad bring tears to her eyes, but it only warms her body as she almost gets the urge to go at you right then and there with every inch of hatred that swells in her bones seeing you with her it's like a candle that tipped and caught a curtain on fire and the more she stands here watching you smile, giggle and fucking he-he and ha-ha the more she wants to wring the neck of the newly reconnected "friendship" of someone who was supposed to be buried way in your pa- "Riri you good?" Riri glances at the person in front of her than her attention is back on you "30 dollars interest for being late on this payment. I sent you the work on time you send me the money on time or I continue to add interest.”

Riri has never been so worked up in her life what the hell could you be doing talking to someone who supposedly hurt you so much in the past? Her mind is so stumped she hasn't been able to focus on any of her studies and it's not as if she needs to, but it would calm her mind and soul if she could shit... and if she could do that it would stop her from making the commute to your apartment that's only fifteen minutes away from campus but due to her rage and focus seems to be more like eight. She does not hesitate to bang on your door as if she owns the damn place and you're quick to open your door because you do in fact pay the damn bills. You only blink when you open the door it may be your initial shock or the fact that you were in a very deep sleep and it's barely five in the morning... yeah it's definitely the latter. For a moment Riri wants to smile seeing you all cute in your worn-out tank top titty half out, bonnet slightly lopsided on your head and your lash stuck to your eyebrow but then she remembers seeing you all hugged up with miss whatever the fuck her name is and she's hot all over again. "No whatever it is come back tomorrow or a week from now I know you know it’s five in the morning I got class in a few hours I haven’t even gotten up to ru-“
“Is she better?” “Excuse me?” You’re rubbing your eyes now and fixing your clothes “who?” “The bi- ole girl I see you running around and laughing with recently” you’re racking your brain for a moment but then you realize Riri ain’t got no say who you hang with who you fuck who you kiss or who you’re bent over backwards for, so you suck in a sharp breath and force your next words through your teeth.
"I'm not yours" your words are hushed but there is no lack of confidence while speaking so she hears you just fine "oh" it's as if Riri has just been put back in her place easily too there's no yelling, cursing or fighting just simple to the heart words. Somehow your voice seems to be more confident than your true feelings because you can't help but question your own words "am I?" Riri bites her tongue as she looks at you now somehow without either of your knowledge you both seem to be getting closer in the moment and of course this is a dangerous game. You both broke up for a reason so why do you still have these feelings? Why do you still pine for each other? Why in heaven and hell do you want to kiss her right now?
Why are you allowing her to kiss down your neck? She approached you with all sorts of hostility but somehow, you're not saying anything about the current situation you find yourself in. No, you're tilting your head back and panting as if she's had you running on a leash without any sort of water Riri closes the door and she's somehow pushed you up against it in a gentle manner which is confusing because the tone she took with you only minutes ago was anything but gentle anything but soft and caring. It is insane how it differs from her actions. It truly is insane that she's leaving soft kisses down your chest now and you're allowing her to rid you of your clothes; first the pajama pants that were already oversized and barely hanging on your hips are gone then the tank top which seems to be proving a bit more difficult getting caught in your hair and snatching your lash off your face but eventually it's gone too.
Finally, there's no obstacle between you both no thick layer of clothing keeping either of you at bay she can touch you the way she wants.
Now that you're exposed to the cold air of your apartment her kisses have you feeling feverish every lick, nip and bite leaves behind a warmth cozy feeling which shoots down to your feet and back to your chest. Riri already has her confirmation but now she has a point to prove she has to prove that no one not a damned soul can make you laugh, giggle, or feel ascomfortable as she does.
Jealousy truly can be a beautiful thing sometime.
Riri works her way down your body she makes it her unspoken mission to kiss every inch of you she wants to touch your soul with her hands and lips. You're in such a frenzy you haven't noticed just how long she's been doing this she's gone from your neck traveled down your chest gave your nipples a gentle suck tongued her way down your abdomen kissed in-between your thighs and hugged them as she allowed the tip of her nose to gently tap what she won't rush to get to. Then she’s down your legs all around giving them the attention they deserve. The woman goes to your feet she is persistent on showing all of your body that you belong to her only her and no one else and she is doing a damn good job. Something so simple so soft so comforting should have no effect whatsoever on the rest of your body, right? Right? Wrong you can't help but spread your legs just the smallest bit as Riri runs her hands up them she's not willing to apologize for being an ass for coming to your home unannounced for playing with your feelings but she's willing to beg for you on her face. "Baby" Her saying that damn word has you wanting to do anything to shut her up, so you incase her between your legs and she's humming in contentment before she even begins to taste you.
You're holding onto the door handle for either your stability or your sanity as Riri glides her tongue across your slit teasing you but you're too impatient for her to be playing these types of games. "Ri" you breath out a warning makes her want to laugh how only a day ago you two were not on talking terms but now she's quite literally on her knees in front of you gripping your thigh like her life depends on it as she tongue fucks you trying to rip any sort of sound from your lips. Your moans and gasps just aren't enough. She stands in front of you again kissing you so passionately, needily. So hungrily and it stays that way as you wrap your leg around her, she's slow taking the silent offer upon chance as she trails her hand up your thigh and around the curve of your ass cupping it tightly bringing you close as if you weren't already a simple step away. She slips two fingers inside of you and you let a soft mewl escape your slightly parted lips humming in satisfaction she begins to gently caress your walls with just those two fingers
You want to cry as you hear a phone ring because please don’t let this stop not right now not yet. Riri pulls her hand away unbothered by its wetness as she answers the phone you whine in dissatisfaction but she gives your wet cunt a gentle tap ushering you to shush and be patient. You know that food truck-“ you let her talk as you just sit and dwell for a moment on your couch “bunny? She’s baby and I’m bunny?” Riri watches you confusedly before saying “you said you’re not mine I’m simply abiding your wishes that’s what you want right? To not be mine… BUNNY it is.”

What Kind of Plants to Add
This is my sixth post in a series I’ll be making on how to increase biodiversity on a budget! I’m not an expert–just an enthusiast–but I hope something you find here helps!
I’d love to be able to give a quick and easy list of things to add, but frankly I can’t do that. I can strongly encourage you, however, to look at these categories of plants and do further research to discover what’s native to your area, so you can plant things that’ll have the most impact in your particular area.
With that being said, I will mention a few plants as examples. This is in no way, shape, or form me telling you that you have to or even should buy these specific plants. Not every plant works well in every place in every garden, not to even mention across countries. Above all, if you’re wondering what plants you should be adding, I can wholeheartedly say plants that are native to your area--or at least nonnative non-invasive.
Flowers
Flowers are some of the most common ways people work to increase biodiversity in their gardens, and who can blame them? Seeing pops of color out your window, and directly seeing the impact via butterflies and bees visiting the garden? It’s a win-win for us and the wildlife!
Flowers--especially native wildflowers--are a quick, easy, and cheap way to increase wildlife traffic in your garden. Perennial gardens are more likely to get you the most bang for your buck, as they’ll come back year after year if you treat them well. But don’t dismiss annuals--if you get ones that easily reseed, they’ll eagerly return on their own! If you can, do your best to ensure that the flowers you plant all have different blooming periods--that way, your garden can support wildlife throughout the year instead of for just one brief season.
Flowers are environmental super boosters. Their nectar and pollen can feed insects and birds, their stems and leaves can provide nesting materials for all sorts of creatures, and their seeds are a popular food source among birds at all times of the year.
Climbing Plants
Climbing plants can be fantastic options for maximizing your impact. If you have limited ground space, growing up can provide interest as well as additional habitat for all kinds of creatures.
Training plants up a trellis, fence, or bare wall offers food, shelter, and habitat. Trumpet vines, passionflowers, honeysuckles, and more will provide sweet nectar for pollinators as well as nesting and hiding spaces for other wildlife like birds, bugs, and lizards. Do note that in some cases, climbing plants can actually affect the structural integrity of walls and roofs if allowed to climb too much and too far along a house, so be careful.
Bushes/Shrubs
Bushes provide shelter for creatures, which then provides hunting grounds for other animals. Their fallen leaves and petals can be food and shelter for detritivores, amphibians, reptiles, and small mammals--and they also provide good cover for moving around the garden, for creatures who like to stay hidden. They can be a bit more pricey to obtain--unless you get cuttings or seeds and are willing to wait--but they’ll definitely be worth it, and they’re typically low-maintenance once they’re established.
Bonus points if you get a flowering and fruiting bush, like bottlebrush, serviceberry, lilac, or others. This’ll make your bushes not only a place of shelter, but a food source as well--and depending on the kind you pick, may be food for you too! Making a garden border with a series of bushes can be a great option to providing lots of habitat, if you can manage it.
Shrubs with pithy or hollow stems are excellent options for supporting solitary bees. Some examples you could look into are elderberry, raspberry, blackberry, or sumac.
Trees
Trees have a high up-front cost and take awhile to grow, but once they’re settled in place they provide crucial habitat to all kinds of creatures! Insects will be attracted to flowers they may provide, or to nest in the wood. Others may eat the leaves as food, or use them as nesting materials. Birds will perch and nest in trees, and feed off the fruits and seeds and insects that also use the tree. Squirrels also use trees as nesting places, piling up dead leaves into huge clusters to raise their young in, and will absolutely feast on any nuts the tree may provide. Mice, badgers, and more will feast on fallen fruits or seeds, and bats roost in the trunks when given the chance. Detritivores eat fallen leaves and decomposing fruits, providing further food for hunting creatures. Trees can also be good for us--they help block out noise and air pollution, and are the poster child for taking CO2 and making it breathable oxygen. Not to mention they can provide plenty of food for us, too. Nesting grounds, hunting grounds, shelter from weather, and more--trees are, in my opinion, likely to be the best way to boost biodiversity long-term. If you can get your hands on a sapling for cheap and can care for it for awhile, I’d definitely give it a shot! Make sure the tree won’t get too big for where you’re growing it, though--you’ve definitely gotta plan for the long-term before you plant any.
Some trees can be grown in containers. Though they won’t become gigantic branching behemoths, they’ll still do their part to support all the life that depends on them. Growing a tree from seed may take awhile, but could be an easy option to getting one if you have the patience--the trees are more than happy to help you, as they drop tons of seeds and fruit in fall for you to gather.
Groundcover
Bare soil is the enemy of microbial life in the soil, and while small pockets of bare soil can be great nesting places for bees and other insects, having swaths of empty soil should be avoided. Groundcover plants grow low to the ground in a sprawling habit, and will often spread quite easily on their own. This is a great way to provide shelter, keep soil temperatures cool, block out weeds, and give your soil life a chance to thrive.
Sometimes, ground covers don’t even have to be planted in the ground. Shallow-rooted plants like succulents, ferns, and alyssum can be planted into cracks in stone walls, and moss can be planted by making moss graffiti and painting it onto a surface. As with climbing plants, do make sure that you don’t cause extra damage to important walls and housing foundations.
Host Plants
Host plants get their own section, because plants of all kinds can be host plants for different creatures! It’s common to think only flowers can be host plants in the beginning, but in reality, many bushes and trees are host plants to dozens of species of butterflies and moths. Honestly, I feel that factor's not talked about enough. Look up what insects live in your area and what kind of host plants they need, and plant some if you can! Bonus points if you can plant a variety of them--I know that there’s hundreds of kinds of milkweed, each one flowering and leafing up around different times of the year. Planting several varieties of milkweed, then, would provide monarchs with food through several seasons, allowing many more of them to grow up in your garden!
Nectar Plants
Plants that provide nectar to insects is a great foundation to increasing biodiversity! This is, of course, many native wildflowers (and even nonnative wildflowers, though be sure they aren’t invasives who’ll do more harm than good), but many native bushes, vines, and trees will also provide nectar to hungry pollinators!
Keystone Species
To be frank, some plants can have a bigger impact than others in a landscape. By all means, every bit helps, but if you want to boost biodiversity quickly there are a few plants that can essentially serve as the backbone of local ecosystems that you can grow in anything from a balcony pot to a small patch of your backyard. These plants can be different depending on where you are, so do your research to find out what would be best to grow in your area. If you can’t get them all? That’s alright! But even hitting just a few of these target species really can do a lot.

Saw more people talking about Tonis and what his deal could be in S2 based on what’s already established about him during the first few episodes he was introduced in and that concept art of an older version of him Kenji Muto posted on his twitter a while back which, one, I’m so freaking happy about, this and the other concepts artworks he posted aren’t talked about nearly enough, and two, I have more thoughts to add on to it so let’s get into them.
With how useful the Wams are, besides the fact that they have strength in numbers and size and can either fly across the sky or travel underneath the sand, their abilities are especially useful in information gathering and sabotage, as they are able to mimic other lifeforms from birds (I like to think that the vulture-like bugs that hung around Vash in episode 1 weren’t a thing to begin with since the only other birds we’ve seen so far are Tomas which were confirmed to be biologically engineered by humans) to humans (seeing as Zazie looks so convincingly like a human kid that they were able to fool Meryl and the only thing that physically set them apart from humans when they assumed a human form was a buzzing noise that humans aren’t even able to pick up in the first place) and relay images (as seen with how Zazie summoned a swarm or bacteria-sized Wams that formed the image of the planet Earth and its wildlife during their talk with Meryl in July), they are able to telepathically connect and communicate to each other, and are able to administer poison as implied by the stingers that some of them have been shown to have that I think is what Wolfwood spat out after he plucked a Wam out of midair and ate it raw and the fact that they’ve been confirmed to be what’s in those cigarettes Wolfwood and Roberto have been smoking in place of tobacco meaning that it contains either nicotine or a toxic, addictive drug with both stimulant and depressant effects like it
(Kenji Muto actually talked about in this post depicting this piece of concept art of Zazie that their scarf is actually another kind of Wam whose stinger is very poisonous, making it good for both a means of attack and defense),
Knives and the EoM would surely find an alternative way to keep the Wams under their thumb now that Zazie’s (and the Wams as a whole) alliance with Knives is seemingly implied to have dissolved following what had gone down in July, what with them clearly panicking about the roots, vines, and flowers from Vash’s gate that were gradually covering the entire city and even just about the rest of the planet, so much so that Wolfwood commented on it,
and them saying how they didn’t understand the fact that humanity made Vash out to be the villain behind Lost July,
and one way that they could do that is include the Wams as another species besides Plants they experiment on in for their eugenics research.
(Sidenote, I also like to think that Zazie made it clear to the EoM they were no longer on their side and would no longer do any favors for them when they were asked to locate Vash, which of course the EoM would do, seeing as it wouldn’t be all that difficult for them to do, what with them even having gone so far as to refer to themselves as the planet itself, only for them to refuse to do so, maybe in part as a sort of thanks to Vash for saving the planet and almost everyone on it back in July by letting him rest and relax and recover as much as he could for as long as he could with Lina after everything he’s gone though and in part as a sort of precaution seeing as since he’s seems to have lost his memories and is in no condition to leave Lina’s hometown and live on his own, much less get himself into trouble, then that means he’s out of the way for the time being.
Also, that just makes me think that they may have a part in Vash being found and brought out of hiding since with the incoming arrival of Chronica and Project Pieces of Earth fleets and possibly rumors of Knives being brought back from the grave might force them to reveal Vash’s location since he was the one who put a stop to the shit another Independent Plant pulled two years ago so he might be the only one who can put a stop to whatever either of these two plan to pull this time around two years later.)
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Conrad has tried or will try to do something like that since Wams are the natives species of No Man’s Land, at least the only ones we know of so far, so they’re more than capable of withstanding the harsh environment of the planet without the help of Plants. Actually, I kind of wouldn’t be surprised if Zazie was kind of interested in that kind of thing, since they’ve shown a genuine interest in seeing why and how they can coexist alongside Plants or humans, and agreed to allocate a couple of Wams to him for this reason.
Now onto Tonis, now that I think about it more I could see him getting roped into the EoM, seeing as Jeneora Rock has not only lost its’ Plants but also was cut to pieces by Knives, leaving him and his mother and the rest of the townspeople not only heavily injured from the collapse of his hometown, with him being down to one arm, but also homeless with little to none of the basic necessities they need to survive left, and then there’s also how, assuming his mother hadn’t suffered from a miscarraige during or after what went down in Jeneora Rock, his mother would not only have to take care of and provide for him and herself, but also his soon to be born younger sibling. That’s a lot to deal with to say the very least.
Baby supplies are expensive and babies themselves are a lot to deal with as is, but buying baby supplies and raising a baby when they both lost their home, lost people, were suffering from PTSD, and were suffering from major injuries ON NO MAN’S LAND my god, that’s just-that’s SO MUCH. And it sounds like the perfect set up for him to fall right into the hands of the EoM, I mean, didn’t Wolfwood in Trimax go with the EoM thinking that he’d be building churches for them in exchange for being able to provide for himself and the orphanage, so Tonis could be led to follow the same thought process.
Besides that he just looks so much older in the concept art compared to his first appearance in S1 that I saw some people wondering just how long the timeskip would be, but there doesn’t need to be a long timeskip for him to look that old, he just needs to be subjected to the same or at least similar experiments Rollo, Livio, and Nico had been subjected to and he’ll end up looking like that in around six months and then with the EoM having access to lost tech they could hook him up with a prosthetic arm similar to Vash’s which could be why they share a similar silhouette.
Also, Zazie’s 98 counterpart was a normal human kid who happened to have a device that allowed him to hijack worms to do whatever he ordered them to do, and their Trimax counterpart was a human who happened to have their body hijacked by worms and did whatever they wanted them to do, so maybe Tristamp could pull something similar with Tonis.
And and, there are a couple of spots on the GHG so to speak with EG the Mine and Monev the Gale out of the picture, now they could have just done that to allow for more room to focus on the remaining GHG that haven’t appeared yet like Midvalley, Hoppered, Dominique, Leonof, and to an extent Livio, Legato, and Elendira, but they could also have done that to come up with new members to fill those empty slots, they did it in 98 with Caine, then again they didn’t bring in Livio and Elendira but still.
Not to mention, someone on twitter here pointed out how Tonis is repeatedly shown time and time again with something that has to do with catching Wams in his hands, like the cage filled with Wams he shows off to Vash and then to Gosef in Rosa’s bar, and the net he’s seen holding whenever he’s on his own like when he encounters Meryl and Roberto in the cliffside, which while it could just be something to show how much he’s into Wams, and maybe to foreshadow how Wams make for a really good alternative resource in place of Plants as addressed in episode 4, it could also be foreshadowing a potential confrontation between him and Zazie.
I still like my previous theory about Tonis where he got his prosthetic arm from Father Nebraska as thanks for pulling Gosef out of the rubble and sparing the both of them some medical supplies as seen in a quick shot of them being one of the injured near the end of episode 3 since it looks like Vash’s prosthetic arm if it was made out of scrap metal instead of lost tech by a No Man’s Land resident than a first generation SEEDS crew member, Father Nebraska was even seated right across from Vash in the table which I’m sure would be able to afford him a good view of his arm, not to mention, he could have also seen him showing off his cage full of Wams to Gosef in the background, and Gosef’s arm was mentioned to be designed to catch Wams so he’d put two and two together and figured it’d be fitting especially since Tonis wasn’t as squirmy with Wams like Gosef was and Zazie possibly taking him under his wing for whatever reason but I’ll admit I’m quickly growing attached to this new theory and when it comes down to it I’m just really excited to see what going to go down in S2 when its finally released. @tristampparty

Writing Advice: Getting Words on a Page
With the 75k word count in November and 90k in August, I have been asked questions like how do I keep focus and what do I do when I get stuck. I am going to compile all the advice I have.
Over the last few years, I have posted 700k+ words of fan fiction and have been posting 3 to 6 chapters every week for the last ten months. This is not how to make your writing better. This is how to get words on a page.
This is not all my original ideas. This is just a collection of things that have worked for me.
I am not sure I am the person to tell you how to make your writing better, but if people want my thoughts on that. I can make that post too.
When inspiration strikes, write like wild.
If you have the time and you are bitten by the writing bug, keep writing anything while you are in peak form. You will thank yourself later when you feel like you can’t write everything.
I have done the extreme version of this where I have a month (four chapters) written ahead of almost everything on my post schedule (you don’t need this), but this was really nice after I brunt out after finishing out the 90k challenge I destroyed myself with in August.
Write in little pockets of time.
You don’t need to sit down and write for two hours. Write 100 words here and 500 there. It will all add up. When I was struggling at the end of the 75k, I would just open a doc every few hours and write half a page until I got distracted and tried again later.
Change your font.
If you are struggling to edit or even just find yourself drifting while writing, change your font. It helps trick your brain into paying attention. (I like doing a mono font like Courier when I need writing vibes. It looks typewriter-y)
Take a shower.
Not just for shower thoughts, being clean and fresh helps with focus
Get dressed.
I love being comfy, but something about getting dressed makes me feel like I am working and should finish my task. Extra points for it being fun. (Maybe cosplay a pirate or something.)
Move Locations.
Desk, kitchen table, bed, outside: changing location helps move you out of a brain rut.
Handwrite notes.
I take most of my notes on notion, but when I am struggling with my plot, I write out notes by hand, starting with what happened last and continuing from there, writing even things I know will happen. Then I transfer this to my digital notes so they are easier to move around in order, AND a lot of time, I add details when revising them to digital. Double power.
Always, always write down your thoughts and keep them.
Some of my most popular stories came from me rediscovering a 2 am thought that I wrote down six years ago. Keep a notepad next to the bed if you have to.
Change POV
If something is not working in a scene, maybe it is who you have reacting to it. Try switching POV. It helps you think of the scene from another perspective.
Watch a show in your genre.
I watch a lot of the silliest KDrama’s and get lots of romance ideas. Maybe I didn’t think of sending my character to a park or trapping them in a sky lift. Maybe I should add a stalker that sounds fun.
Take your bathroom breaks.
You should always drink lots of fluids and remember to take your bathroom breaks because the brief moment of walking away always gives me an idea.
Skim through the story and make notes on what HAS happened, not just what will happen.
This helps more with my style of having next to no plot outline. Need your next plot point and don’t know where to go? Remember that time they did x? Let’s build off that. This helps intertwine the plot without losing things.
Just read the story back.
You don’t always need to make notes, but sometimes just reading from the beginning can make you pick up on a detail that was unimportant at the time, and you may not even have meant to put in that could have a lot more meaning now. Then, you can call it clever foreshadowing.
Explain your problem or the scene you are struggling with out loud.
It doesn’t have to be to someone. It could be a glass of water. This is called ‘rubber ducking. It’s a programmer term (hello, that is my day job). Restructuring your problem in a way you have to articulate it most of the time makes the solution come to you.
Try focusing on the scenery.
If you can’t get a scene to work open with the weather or how the floor is creaking under step, give the world a new feeling. How does the person feel about the weather or the temperature of the room?
Can’t figure out what is wrong? Rewrite the chapter from scratch.
Open a new doc and rewrite the chapter from memory. I do this a lot in the beginning of a story that didn’t quite hit the way I wanted it to. I will start the chapter from memory and skim the old one to ensure I didn’t miss anything important.
Can’t do it from memory? Read a paragraph and write that from memory.
Take a left turn.
Sometimes, if you can’t go any further, go back a sentence, a paragraph, a scene, a chapter, and just make a different decision.
Turn left instead of right. Change how someone reacts to an argument. It opens a whole new lane to go down.
Excited for a scene that is in the future?
Write it!
You don’t have to use it word for word in the future. Sometimes, you can copy and paste it in, and sometimes, you can just rewrite it, and you lose none of those thoughts you originally had.
Writing it might remind you of something that needs to happen first to help you get there.
Have more than one story you are working on.
I don’t think you need to be working on four+ stories like I do, but having something to switch to when your brain really isn’t feeling your main is a great way to keep you writing. Call it productive procrastination.
This is the REAL reason I have so many stories uploading.

Other Somewhat Related Advice
Context Switching
I work on multiple projects at a time, and I tend not to mix them up because they have a different vibe to me. It feels like stepping into each world.
If you are struggling with context switching between stories, I suggest finding a song or making a playlist that gives you that story’s ‘vibe’ and keeping a link to it in your writing folder or snagging a section of your story that captures the vibe you are going for and keeping it off to the side to reread when you need to switch.
Don’t edit the same day you write.
You’re not going to catch errors. Your brain is too familiar with what you wrote. Also, I recommend Grammarly or another grammar checker for all your missing comma and period needs. (Word, Docs, and any other text editor simply won't bully you enough.)
If you hate editing, don’t leave yourself with a painful amount of editing.
When people ask me how I edit my work, how many passes I take, etc, I tend to disappoint them. The short answer is one read-through (after using a grammar checker).
I learned a LONG time ago that as much as it would be nice to write a bunch of dialog and then tell yourself you will go back to add all the actions or write without quotes because it takes time, you will save yourself a lot of time and pain if you learn to write it correctly the first time and then editing won’t be as much of a chore.
I have been writing for years, and I am used to how I write and edit. If you are newer to writing, give it another pass or two, but try to shift some of that work to the writing process, not the editing process.
Make yourself an editing cheat sheet.
Make yourself a doc or a notion of words you notice you use too much or common words you misspell when writing.
I usually make one when I get back and do a post edit (when the story has been up for a while and I get back with fresh eyes and edit it).
Reading through your old work and find things that you don’t like or don’t want to do anymore is a great way to build this list and improve your writing.

Helping Hand
Dad!Chris Evans x Wife!Reader
Summary: Chris really loves to workout in your home gym, especially since the pandemic and virus season, he loved the idea of having his own workout space all to himself. Funny enough when you can’t find your three year old daughter Arlie, check the gym, and you might find her attached to her dad’s hip

A/N: Baby Arlie is back to making an appearance!! I adore this pairing so much it rots my teeth, I think I’m going to divide my masterlist and add a Dad!Chris/ Dad + Arlie Section, let me know what you think, this one may be a little shorter, hopefully not horrible lmao but happy reading!!
Word Count: 846
Little Arlie girl was the epitome of her father’s shadow, following him around whenever and wherever she could, especially now that she was walking more and handling stairs better. That wasn’t to say you and Chris didn’t still watch her like a hawk in case she needed a hand or fell, but she was getting more and more independent every day. It was often days like today when Chris was off in your home gym completing his daily workout, whether it was legs, chest or arms, Arlie always found a way to weasel her little self into the gym to be with her daddy. So when you called her name for snack time and didn’t get a response, you made your way into the den where you’d left her last only to find her colouring book open and water bottle where she left it on the coffee table.
“That little bug…”
You couldn’t help but laugh quietly knowing just how good of an escape artist she was, so you tidied her markers up and walked your way down the hall and to the steps leading into the basement. When you opened the door, you could hear her giggles and little squeals as she and Chris worked through their weight session together
“I stronger than you daddy!”
The sight at the bottom of the stairs bringing a smile to your face, she had her set of dumbbells, which weighed virtually nothing in her hands, while Chris was on his back, two green and yellow weights on his chest to keep him to the floor
“I think you certainly are dove, I think I need some help!”
Arlie put her weights down and placed her tiny hands on her hips in a superman like pose and sighed
“I help you on one ‘dition daddy.”
You laughed at her shortened version of the word condition, because it was just the cutest thing in the world listening to her learning and practicing new words. At the sound of your laugh Arlie looked to you and clapped
“Hi mommy!!”
Chris smiled too, practically identical to your little girl
“Yeah, hi mommy”
“Hi you two, what’s going on down here?”
Arlie cocked her hip to the side, the sass with her was off the charts, Chris never failing to let you know it comes from you
“I doing the lifties thing with daddy, an’ he not strong ‘nough to hold my colour sticks”
Colour sticks, what she called her dumbbells, despite you attempting to teach her the word, it would forever be known as colour sticks to you and your husband
“Oh, I see, so are you gonna help him bug?”
“Mhm, I got one ‘dition first mommy”
You chuckled sitting down with the two of them on the floor, watching her as she began waving her arms around
“What’s that baby?”
“Well, I wanna watch cartoon and have two cookies!”
Chris pretended to think about it for a few moments, closing his eyes before letting out a dramatic sigh and holding his hand out to Arlie
“Okay Arlie girl, you got yourself a deal.”
“Deal daddy!”
She wrapped her much smaller hands around his larger one and shook with all her toddler strength before grabbing the dumbbells off his chest. Chris immediately took her in his arms and sat up covering her face in kisses while the room filled with the sounds of her laughter and now yours mixed in together. Moments like these making you take a mental snapshot watching the two people you loved most experiencing life together
“Alright my little gym crazies, how about we go upstairs for some snacks?”
After a collective cheer of yesses, the three of you made your way upstairs where Arlie got comfy in her chair at the island, and you and Chris stood in front of her, smiles on both of your faces as she munched away on some apples and peanut butter, her current favourite obsession
“Hey daddy?”
Chris finished chewing one a slice of the apple you’d also given him before answering her
“Yeah baby?”
“Don’t ‘fink I forgot about our deal.”
Your hand quickly covered your mouth as you began laughing, Chris losing it beside you as well
“O-Okay dove I won’t...”
Chris could barely get that sentence out without laughing and the two of you managed to calm down after a couple minutes, Arlie looking between her mom and dad with a stone-faced expression, clearly not finding any of this funny
“Arlie baby you are going to be a force to be reckoned with when you get older”
“Just like you mommy!”
You laughed shaking your head at her before Chris chimed in beside you quickly to agree with his little girl
“Yep, just like mommy”
Chris leaned over to press a kiss to your cheek before wrapping an arm around you and bringing you to him. That moment in the kitchen becoming another mental snapshot you’d hope to keep with you forever, your sassy Arlie girl never failing to make each day as interesting as the last.

"Ki! The movie is set up! I made popcoorrn!" You stretch your last word out in an attempt to convince the boy to join you
Not even a second later, you hear the sound of shuffling growing closer to you, followed by the boy's tall figure appearing, rubbing his eyes adorably
"Did you say popc-?" His lit up face shifts as his jaw drops an awe, stopping dead in his tracks.
"Do I have something on my face?" You ask in a worried tone, opening your camera app
Titling your face side to side, you check for a bug or sauce stain to no avail
At this point, Ni-Ki is practically drooling, staring at you like you're the Mona Lisa herself
"No no, nothing. It's just...you're so stunning, f*ck, angel" He whispers his last words, almost as if you knocked the air out of his lungs
You chuckle softly, hiding your face in your hands
"Stop, I just did my nightly skincare. I'm barefaced and have my strawberry jammies on, Ki, and now is the time you decide to drool over me?" You deadpan with a giggle, still hiding you blush
He slowing approaches you, gently pulling your hands away from your face, cupping your cheek
"Please don't hide your pretty face, angel. And, for your information, I love your strawberry jammies" He whispers with a soft chuckle, his gaze never faltering
Your breath hitches, your face turning impossibly redder
Just as you're about to respond, he stands up
"Hold that thought, love. I'll be right back" He says before scurrying off into his room, leaving you in confusion
A few moments later, he comes back with a sketchbook and pencil, approaching you once more
"May I?" He asks, ghosting his hand under your chin, you nod with a gulp at his proximity
He gently tilts your chin upwards, softly tucking a strand of hair behind your ear before stepping back, doing that artsy thumb thing 👍🏻👎🏻
You giggle at his antics, trying your best to hold your position
He couldn't help but crack a smile after seeing yours, placing a soft kiss on your nose before sitting across from your figure
"Now, hold still for me, darling. Let me know if you're getting tired, alright?" He asks softly before starting. You nod slightly, not wanting to mess up his angles
You soon hear him scribbling softly onto the paper, finding the sound of the pencil hitting the parchment soothing
You smile in content, the blush never leaving your cheeks
"You're doing so good for me, love. That's it" He reassures, checking in with you, knowing how uncomfortable it must be for you to sit there so still
A few more minutes pass by and you hear his strokes becoming less frequent, signaling he was almost done
Your muscles started to slightly ache at this point, so you slightly tilt your head to crack your neck
"Heeyy don't move baby, I promise it'll only take a bit" He cutely whines with a chuckle, you knew he wasn't seriously upset
You can't help but giggle, trying hard to stiffle your laugh but failing when glancing at his little tongue poking out of his mouth in concentration
Before he can say anything, you quickly apologize, going back to your previous position
You see him smiling to himself like an idiot as he adds the finishing touches
"Aaand...done!" He punctuates his last word with a tap of his pencil on the page, tucking the notebook to his chest sneakily, his eyes meeting yours
You sigh in relief, he admires you with a gleam in his eyes as you get up to stretch
You mirror is position on the couch, staring right at him in curiosity
"Can I see?" You ask, crawling toward him slowly with a stupid smile on our face
He grips the sketchbook tighter to his chest, shaking his head cutely
"Only if you give me a kiss right, here" He teases, tapping at his cheek
You roll your eyes, placing a soft kiss where his finger was, hearing him hum in content
"And here" He points to the other cheek
You sigh, placing a peck on his cheek once more
"And h-" He points to his lips, about to finish but you interpret him instead
"I'll be the judge of that" You tease, trying to sneak a peak at his sketch
He sighs, "fair"
Slowly handing the sketchbook to you, he looks away, curling into himself in embarrassment
As you look down as his work, a tear can't help but roll down your cheek
Around your face were little hearts, along with arrows pointing out little details of your face, you read them one by one
An arrow pointing to your birthmark reads 'my favorite little chocolate chip <3'
An arrow pointing to your eyes read 'the most gorgeous ones on Earth, could get lost in them for hours'
Every strand of hair, scar and birthmark had little notes pointing out his love for each and every one
Another tear rolls down your cheek
He hears you sniffling and quickly cups your cheeks with a worried look
"Are you alright, angel? Did I say something mean? I didn't mean to offend you. Do you not like th-" His rambling it's quickly shushed by your lips
Gently putting his sketchbook to the side, you straddle him, sitting on his lap, never breaking the kiss
Playing with the hair on his nape, you can't help but smile into the kiss
"I'm not upset, Ki. I'm just so happy to have you. Thank you, love" you whisper before colliding your lips onto his, addicted to the feeling
His hands gently find their way to your waist, he whispers
"You mean the world to me y/n, you have no idea. When I saw you just then, it's like the world stopped for a second. You're so *kiss* so *kiss* f*cking *kiss* gorgeous, angel *kiss*"
You giggle, burying your face into the crevice of his neck, placing a gentle kiss below his ear, whispering
"I love you so much, Ki"
He softly pulls you from his neck and holds your chin, leaning his head so your foreheads meet
"I love you too, angel" placing a soft kiss on your temple, holding you close with a hum
