Mihawk, Zoro & Marco With a Teasing Yet Shy in Bed S/O HCs
Request: hi! i just discovered your blog and your handwriting is nice ! can i have hc's for Mihawk, Zoro and Marco with a teasing s/o and quite open but shy in bed ? thanks <3
A/N: I've had this request for almost as long as I've had this blog TT I was in no rush to finish it since it involves characters I didn't plan to write for but I wanted to push myself :) Feedback on how I characterized them is welcome since I'm new to this Mihawk & Marco business lol <3
Mihawk
Mihawk is the type to kiss you gently whenever you start to get shy, mumbling sweet teasing words against your lips as you blush further. He just can't resist seeing you this way.
He'll press his mouth against your neck, trying to coax your true desires out of you with soft presses of his lips against your flushed skin. He loves to be able to feel your breathe shutter against his own body from the proximity as you grow more and more affected.
Once you do garner up the courage to proclaim your wants he'll push himself up with his hands in order to peer down at you, smirking in both pride and lust. He doesn't allow you to stop then however, he'll have your words guide his body accordingly, giving into your every desire as he searches for his own pleasure.
He's the most talkative with a partner such as this, tending to pair his teasing with words of endearment. Mihawk has a seemingly endless arsenal of pet names to use as he repeats your own begging back to you. "You want me to touch you? You're going to need to be more specific if you want this to continue, darling."
Zoro
Zoro's cheeks flush when you flirt with him in front of familiar faces, his breath catching in his throat for a moment as he thinks of how to respond. Sometimes dismisses your antics with a roll of the eyes, other times he allows himself to grab ahold of you and offer you tame affection with a promise of more later. He's still figuring out how to balance friendship with romance, not sure what to restrain and what to embrace - but he loves that he has the chance to learn.
He can be pretty shy himself in bed, usually internalizing it, since he's not used to the level of closeness found in a romantic relationship. Your shyness sparks something in him however and gives him the confidence to take the lead, asking how it makes you feel during certain parts and if you're enjoying it every step of the way.
Guiding you along and asking just what you like as he continues to kiss and maneuver your body in ways that have both of your cheeks flushing is one of his favorite things. "Does that feel good? You like how I touch you, don't you? You can't even try to hide it when you're blushing like that."
His breath always stutters slightly as he stares down at you, your timid demeanor making him ache even more. He wanted to make you fall apart entirely, seeing you start off bashful before letting go as pleasure takes over is truly a sight to behold.
Marco
Your shyness is all a big game to him. Cradling you close to himself as he smiles brightly at your red cheeks and downcast eyes."What happened to all that big talk earlier? I thought you wanted me like this? Don't be all shy now."
"Come on baby bird~ You were teasing me so much out there, where did all that confidence go."
He probably will laugh at your antics, calling out "babyyyyy" as he makes no move to hide just how cute he finds your reddening cheeks. Despite this teasing, however, he will whisper in your ear in a serious tone to ask if you're still okay with what you two are doing. He wants to make sure you're comfortable despite your shy demeanor. He'll pull away once you answer, staring at you seriously for a moment, before breaking out into another smile as he peppers your face and neck with kisses in affection.
He loves making you beg him to act on all those dirty things you asked for earlier. You always start off shy but when he finally gets your resolve to crumble it's all worth it. His mouth rumbles against your most sensitive areas as he laughs lightly at your pathetic attempts at restraint, your body shaking from the prolonged build-up.

Can I request Marco the phoenix and Sanji Vinsmoke having their first kiss with their s/o. (maybe their reaction to it)(it's ok if you don't write it)(love your writings)
marco
Marco prides himself on being serious and calm, he has to be when he's surrounded by such a rowdy crew of pirates.
But, his s/o completely undermines that. They make him soft and gentle, they create a Marco that for the first time in his life looks forward to such a 'trivial aspect' (Marco's words to Izo before meeting his s/o) of a relationship.
He wants to spend his life with his s/o and he looks forward to getting the chance to kiss them for the first time. Marco knows it'll be a moment he tells his children about in the future.
Marco is the king of reading people and knowing what they're thinking so he's a very attentive boyfriend to his s/o and understands when its the correct moment to make a move.
Marco would probably cry if he made a move at the wrong moment and made their shared first kiss a failure.
Regardless of if it's his s/o's first kiss or not, the scenario stays the same and the moment is perfect, I can see him gently cupping their face and asking them quietly if it's alright for him to kiss them.
It would probably happen whilst they're watching the sunrise together, talking about their hopes and dreams.
The sun would be gently glowing and the sky would be beautiful, the perfect moment to share the ideal first kiss.
After his first kiss with his s/o, they'll find him blushing bright red and hiding his face with his hands (behind them he's begun to have a small nosebleed).
sanji
Sanji is a man who is a very romantic and regularly fantasises about his future with his s/o.
He devours romance books, plans anniversaries weeks in advance and has a special notebook of date ideas hidden beneath his bed.
Sanji wants his first kiss with his s/o to be perfect, he wants it to be a kiss you'll remember years down the line and still blush.
If it's his s/o hasn't had their first kiss yet, Sanji won't act on his urges to kiss them until they express that they are ready to be kissed.
The last thing he wants is for them to feel that he forced his feelings on them after it happens.
I can definitely see him struggling to pick the right moment to kiss s/o and having an intense inner argument with himself about, even after his s/o expresses being ready to kiss him.
Sanji's s/o is definitely going to have to make the first move and kiss him first (which leads to a bright red Sanji collapsing on the floor), but after that he'll be kissing them every spare moment he can.
If it's not his s/o's first kiss, Sanji is much more comfortable making the first move.
I imagine it would happen very spontaneously, probably in response to his s/o giving him a gift or reassuring him about how much he means to them.
But even though it's spontaneous, he'll still have found a way for it to still be very romantic. There's probably a rainbow behind you, at sunset or it's in the rain.
After Sanji shares his first kiss together with his s/o, it'll be very easy to find him smiling to himself and touching his lips in the kitchen whilst he relives the experience.

He doesn't pay any attention to you both when you start arguing
He finds it slightly annoying since he's probably trying to take a nap
You guys decided to start fighting right in the middle of the deck
everyone else on the crew had left to get supplies for the next island, leaving you three alone
Zoro's in between you two the second he hears you get hit
He doesn't say anything to you s/o, just glares at them with one hand on his swords
He and you are pretty close so you can bet he's pissed
He thought of cutting their hand off, and if you weren't standing right there, he probably would've
He isn't all too good at comforting people so all you're really gonna get is an awkward pat on the back and questionable advice
He'll sit with you for as long as you need though
If you break up with them, he'll threaten them
full on like "I'll kill you"
He takes his friend's well-being seriously, and if this really seemed to put you off, then he'd be more than willing to go the extra mile
If you stay together then he'll just be REALLY passive aggressive
Might trip them randomly, but if it didn't seem to affect you too much, he'll leave it be
ridiculously petty about it all so be ready for that
Marco
Starts eavesdropping the second he hears you two arguing
I imagine him to be such a sucker for drama
He feels like he's gotta play the 'older brother' role with you as well, so technically he's obligated to stick around to make sure everything's alright
The second your s/o hits you, he's in the middle of you both restraining their arms
pretty easily at that, Marco is absolutely overpowering them
He might accidentally burn their wrists depending on how mad he is
he's pretty calm, so I don't imagine it would be too bad of a burn, but it'd be enough to get the point across
Snitches to Whitebeard
Marco makes sure you're good once the heat of the moment kinda dies out
If you stay with them, he probably asks how you're doing almost every day to make sure you're not getting abused
He'll be a little less petty than Zoro but still very passive towards them
If he ever hears they hit you again, you're s/o is getting kicked off the ship
If you break up, then Whitebeard's kicking him off
Or they'll kick themselves off by how cold Marco acts towards them
Sanji
He's in the middle of it before they hit you
He's already trying to deescalate the fight before it can reach that stage
But when he turns his back for a second and they hit you, bro will start beating them
absolutely knocks your s/o out
Although, if your s/o is a girl he'll push her back a little, stopping her from getting anywhere close to you
when he sees you shaking on the ground in shock and in tears he stops what he's doing and immediately kneels down beside you
he'll gently guide you to the kitchen, where he'll lock the door to prevent your s/o from getting in and make you some sort of tea
Like one of those teas meant for relaxing
comforts you
He'll get a blanket and ask if you're ok
He's probably apologizing for letting his guard down and letting them hit you
If you stay with them, he'll constantly start fights
like the fights, he starts with Zoro but 10x worse
If your s/o is a girl he'll act a little stand-offish
He isn't flirting or being overly nice, just polite
Either gender I could see him "accidentally" making food they don't like
If you break up with them he's making sure they feel like shit
How dare they hit you? someone so close to him?
He's acting the same as before if your s/o is a girl, with side comments here and there about the incident
would internally feel so relieved if/when they leave

Falling Asleep in Each Other's Lap with Marco
♗: One falling asleep with their head in the other's lap
Falling asleep on each other's lap was not a very common thing for you and Marco. Simply because the occasion rarely presented itself. But you could recall a few memorable times where it had happened.
The very first time was when Marco had spent the day working in the infirmary. He was exhausted. You had been reading in bed for a bit when he entered the room and plomped next to you. You barely had the time to say "hi" that his head was already in your lap. Just a few minutes of you absentmindedly playing with his hair had been enough to make him sleep.
Another occasion was when you had managed to go on a little escapade, just the two of you. You were sitting on the beach together, looking at the sea as the sun was setting. Not thinking much of it, you had put your head in Marco's lap. Before you knew it, your eyes were flickering shut and you fell asleep. When he noticed it, Marco simply lied back against the sand and fell asleep himself.
If you asked Marco, he would probably say he would love for you to fall asleep on his lap more often. But he realises why it happens so scarcely. Nevertheless, he hopes it can become a regular thing at one point.
He loves looking at your peaceful expression when you sleep. And knowing you feel so comfortable and safe around him fills him with joy.

OP characters reacting to you kissing them and running away (here's part 2) established relationship ish. Feel free to ask for other characters.
ALSO I've definitely seen another creator who did this idea with op characters but I can't remember who so if someone could tell me I would really love to credit them :(. I tried to make mine different but still it's the principal of it.
Slightly suggestive in some parts so mdni.
Luffy
Thinks its a new game like tag but with kisses and it ends up actually becoming one. You'll both wait for the other to become distracted and then you'll strike, planting a kiss and sprinting off around the ship or the island you're docked at. It's not hard to chase after each other because the trails of laughter are so easy to follow and it always ends up with one of you on the floor from a tackle or something similar.
Zoro
Gobsmacked. Genuinely his jaw drops especially if there's other people there and you get away so easily only because of how long it takes his brain to boot back online. Oh but he doesn't let it go. He waits until you're in a similar situation, either talking to someone or doing work and he sneaks up to pull you into a deep, intense kiss that leaves your knees weak. Like he fully puts the moves on you, hand on your lower back, other hand cradling your jaw, hes literally licking into your mouth and then he just disappears for the rest of the day. Asshole.
Sanji
You are not running away from this man. Not in a scary way but he can't do just one short kiss, as soon as you're leaning in his hands settle firm on your hips and that grip is not something you can wiggle out of. You can try to run away but he just laughs at you and pulls you closer to him, ofc he would let go if you actually wanted him to but he knows what you're trying to pull. Says something like "Oh? Trying to run darlin? How sweet." swoon- Just don't even bother, he will always try to win if your affection is involved.
Nami
Honestly thinks nothing of it. A lot of your affection is sweet but quick because yk pirate life. But if you look disappointed from her lack of reaction then she catches on quickly and starts playing along. So sweet even though she can be scary. Oh but don't try to run if she's initiating, like Sanji you aren't going to get out of her grip. If she wants to shower you with affection, she is going to thank you very much. If you do manage to slip away she's surprisingly quick and surprisingly stealthy. Like you'll think you got away and you walk into a room and she drops down from the ceiling like fucking batman.
(maybe not that dramatic but shes good)
Robin
She lets you run away but only because she knows she could summon a mouth to kiss you at any time and in any place so she's content knowing she always wins. Also thinks it's really cute when you try to rile her up like this, she just finds it so endearing and usually ends up playing into it anyways- "My, my, aren't you getting so bold my love". Sometimes will purposefully trip you up while you're doing these antics so you can't get away or so you're plan is ruined, absolutely pretends she has no idea what you're talking about.
Usopp
Highly likely he was doing something when it happened. Highly likely he dropped something onto his foot as a result. Yowls like an injured cat and then when his brain catches up it's like steam comes out of his ears. Stands there with his mouth open and pointing at you like you betrayed his entire family. Very funny and very cute. Also a possibility of him smacking you out of fearful instinct in which case he'd probably cry his eyes out and beg for forgiveness. Nami makes it worse by punching him in the face for hitting you. A mess all around if you get him at the wrong time so just be careful.
Ace
Immediately sprinting after you, it's actually a bit scary. But like hey he's not letting you get away with just one measly little peck on the cheek. Absolutely nobody on the crew helps you unless it would be funny, i.e. someone tripping Ace up so he faceplants. If it's near the beginning of your relationship then you likely go back out of concern which he takes as a chance to catch you, but if it's later then you already know this man's antics and you know he wouldn't be injured just from tripping so you use it as an opportunity to get away💪. You still have to kiss it better later though when hes whining to you about how cruel you are for leaving him in the dust(he would do the same).
Izou
Don't bother. As soon as you turn he snatches you by the back of your collar and pulls you onto his lap, proceeds to resume his conversation like nothing is wrong but his arms are firm around your waist and his cheeks and ears are a particularly pretty shade of red. Once his conversation is over and the other person has left, he turns his attention to you with a very pointed look. He's not actually irritated but if he enjoys watching you squirm that's his business. "If you wanted a kiss you should've just asked my love" and then he's practically devouring your mouth. Doesn't care about the other people in the vicinity. Doesn't care that he's smudging his lipstick. Just wants to fluster you more than you flustered him.
Marco
Do you even want to run away from this man lets be real- anyways.
If he's doing work then he just laughs and lets you get away with it, tallys it in his head for later, but if he's free and hes in a good mood then he absolutely plays into it. Will chase after you. Will cheat by using his powers. Its a bit scary but also very attractive, somehow ends with him pinning you in some way (☺️), looks very smug when he wins. Like you'll end up flat on your back, legs trapped under his and his hands restraining yours and he's just grinning- "Oh what a surprise. You were so easy to catch-yoi" Yeah yeah shut up. Absolutely asks what his reward is just to see your shocked face (absolutely asks again later when you two are alone).
Sabo
VILLAIN!!!!!! Sorry only way i can describe how devious and obsessed this man would be. Like Izou he tries to snatch you immediately but you planned for this so you manage to spring out of his grip in time. You falter a bit at his reaction then because he just blinks at you for a while. You start to feel a bit nervous and when he finally grins at you, you definitely feel nervous. "Playing like that are we honey? How about I give you a headstart then?" Evil. You know he's going to catch you. He knows he's going to catch you. He's just giving you false hope but yk hope is hope so you take the chance.
You don't get far. It's not even fair how quickly he catches up to you and gets you underneath him, it takes him barely any effort, not even a strand of hair is out of place. Spends the next 10 minutes kissing you on the floor of the hallway until Koala comes back and promptly drags him back into his office.

Luffy
Luffy, with his usual carefree attitude, would probably ask for a kiss playfully and without a hint of embarrassment. He might even throw in a silly gesture or funny face to lighten the mood.
Sanji
Sanji, being a romantic at heart, would gather all his suave charm and attempt to ask for a kiss in a gentlemanly manner. However, when faced with the possibility of actual embarrassment, he might blush, stumble over his words, and find himself at a loss for his usual smoothness.
Zoro
Zoro, would likely find it difficult to express his desire for a kiss. He might become sheepish, avoid eye contact, and awkwardly mumble his request, showing a rare vulnerable side.
Law
Law, might try to approach the situation with a more logical demeanor. He could find it hard to express his feelings openly, causing him to feel embarrassed and possibly resorting to a sarcastic remark to deflect from his true emotions.
Kid
Kid, with his rough and brash personality, would probably make a bold and straightforward request for a kiss without a second thought. However, once he becomes aware of his own vulnerability and embarrassment, he might act gruff and defensive, trying to brush it off as if it never happened.
Killer
Killer, being a loyal and devoted individual, may feel too shy and self-conscious to directly ask for a kiss. Instead, he might express his desire through subtle gestures or small acts of affection, blushing and becoming flustered if his partner catches on.
Marco
Marco, known for his calm and composed demeanor, might ask for a kiss in a gentle and heartfelt manner. However, if caught off guard by his own vulnerability, he may blush and stumble over his words, showing a side of him that is rare to see.

AN- Here lately I've been making friendship bracelets and thought this would be a fun idea! I hope you enjoy and let me know if you'd like to see a part two with more characters! (Find part 2 with Zoro, Luffy, Sanji, Bart, Sabo and Law here)

🔥After you confirm it is, be prepared to be pulled into the biggest most heartfelt hug you’ll ever experience in your life (He couldn't help it, he was just so happy :)
🔥As we all know Ace can be pretty crafty, so I feel he would learn how to make them so he could give you one too!
“Y/N! Y/N!” Ace came running up to you with his signature wide smile painted on his face.
“Hey Ace.” You return the smile as he catches his breath. "What's up?"
“Close your eyes and hold your hand out!” You do as Ace asked and feel something slip over your wrist. “And open!” You look down and see Ace had made you a bracelet. “And the best part.” He held his wrist up next to yours, showing off the bracelets you'd made for each other. “We match now!”
Totally didn’t take him 100 different times to make it because he kept accidentally setting the twine on fire. With that being said, the poor Moby Dick almost caught on fire 100 different times.

🍍 When you gave Marco the bracelet you didn’t get much of a reaction because he was super busy doing paperwork
🍍 He’d pull you down for a quick kiss before saying “I love it.” without even looking at it
🍍 But he didn’t have to look at it to know he loved it, it already met the requirements because you made it.
“Wake up sleepy head, I need you to sign off on this.” Thatch threw a report on Marco’s desk, rudely waking up the blonde up from his much needed nap. “Nice bracelet by the way.” Marco raised a brow hearing the man holding back laughs.
“Yeah it is nice because Y/N made it for me.” Marco held his wrist up with a smirk, attempting to make the other man jealous.
“Oh I know~” Thatch could no longer control his laughter as he pointed at the bracelet. “It’s pretty obvious she did.”
“Huh?“ Marco grabbed his glasses and took a closer look to see what had the chef doubled over in tears. “Are you serious?” His hand slams over his face after seeing what the beads on the bracelet spelled out. “I swear that girl is going to send me to an early grave.” He stood up and shoved the now signed paper into his friend's chest. “You tell no one about this." Marco glared daggers at the laughing man. "Thatch.."
“Oh don't worry, I won’t .” Thatch smiled innocently while slowly making his escape. “Y/N’s babygirl.”
"THATCH!"
(Needless to say the entire Whitebeard crew knew within five minutes.)
Shanks (NSFW)

“Aww you really made this for me?” His grin grows wider while taking a closer look at it. “Um, sweetheart this is real thoughtful and all, but does it really have to say #1 DILF?” He looks up at you with a raised brow.
“Yes it does.” You hold out your hand to show off the bracelet wrapped around your wrist. “Otherwise we won’t match.”
“DILF destroyer huh?” Shanks smirks. “I’m curious to see just what kind of “destroying” you can do when I have you whimpering under me.”

One too many times, you should've called the police. Why didn't you though? Now you sit there on the shower floor, hot water burning your back as you try to warm up the chill that goes down your spine. Their eyes, oh god they were open and staring at you dead in fear. Why did you cover for him?
You felt the sob trapped in your throat rip out of you as you remembered all the horrible things you were complicit in. There was nothing you could do now but accept the reality. You wouldn't get caught. The two of you burned all the evidence, and sadly, the victims were easy to dispose of. Did anyone look for them? Was anyone curious about them going missing?
The guilt was heavy, and it didn't help that the person you did it for- couldn't give two shits about you.
Marco, your happy go lucky best friend. You remembered that night when he called you, in a panic, begging you to rush to where he was. Of course you went, you were so worried for him. Upon arrival, you saw the large bag and tools. The look on his face warning you to do as he says before he decides to have another matching body bag beside him.
"You trust me don't you? I just need help with this, and then we can be over with it!"
You should've ran, screamed, called for help. But instead, you just grabbed the lower half of the bag, feeling the dreadful sensation of its limbs. You heard a shocked hum across you before the bag lifted off the ground.
"This is why you're always my number one go to. I apperciate this, I mean it. I won't ever forget this. Now follow me 'kay?"
What a joke. It was all a lie, wasn't it? All of that just for some sick obsession. Just for his "girlfriend" to focus on him and him only. If Marco just pursued her normally like a decent fucking human being, nobody would've been hurt, lies wouldn't have been told, your friendship would've been intact..
He could've just told those once alive victims that he wanted to ask her out. If Marco just smiled at her like he used to smile towards you- you're damn sure she would've fallen for him.
It worked for you afterall..
Maybe you should've let go when you had the chance. Cause now here you are, fending for your life as the killer you once called a friend claims you're the very obstacle of their relationship.
What? But you helped him?
You're staring at her in the wrong way.
Are you fucking kidding me? Does he know how many times you cried. The nights you spent mourning for the dead and the friendship that once was?
He still cares about you. But you forced him to get rid of you.
That's funny since you're currently showering at his apartment. You can't leave, though. He's locked the doors and windows. He even went as far as locking the knife cabniet and potential weapons. Still with the shower running, you didn't flinch at the sound of the bathroom door opening.
Curled up in a ball as you sat in the shower, you finally saw the eyes staring down at your naked form. You couldn't read his face, understand his expression, or even tell what he was thinking. It was foreign, new.
"Hey. Are you done? You're taking up the water bill y'know?"
Oh right, how long were you there for? Awkardly, you tried standing up while covering yourself with what little your hands could hide. You hoped he would at least save you some dignity, but he just kept staring with a blank expression.
"Here's a towel. Dry up and come to the kitchen. I made us something to eat"
You thanked Marco as you were quick to wrap your body with the towel. Looking again at Marco, you saw a hint of dissapointnent splay upon his eyes.
"Okay..Well just-Just..do whatever. Don't take too long or else I'll drag you out myself."
Rolling your eyes, you pushed Marco out of the bathroom as you closed the door. Locking - Oh right, he removed all the locks to each room..Drying off your body, you put on the clothes he left for you. Eventually, you made it to the kitchen, sitting down on the chair as you watched him cook.
He looked so calm, so soft as he focused on flipping the meat. You almost smiled when you heard him mutter about how he spilled some oil on his shirt.
Eventually sitting down to join you, Marco gave you your food as he offered you a drink. You declined of course, not feeling thirsty and paranoid of whatever poison he might spike it with. Smelling the aroma of the food, you felt your mouth water. He was always a good cook, hell you remembered the first time you visited his place.
How he made you a nice cooked lamb with mash potatoes. You recalled it being the first time you've ever seen Marco so particular about a certain thing - even though he's always been a speradic and chaotic individual. Though, the quick realization of your perdicment made the food cold and unappetizing.
Biting your lip, you turn your head away as you felt your eyes burn.
Don't cry, don't cry.
You sucked it up. Inhaled the air that surrounded you and forced a bite into your mouth. The food was good, you couldn't deny it. But it didn't taste as good as it did before. It's good, you say. Nearly breaking down as you saw Marco softly smile at you. A smile you haven't seen ever since he found his 'darling'. You want to run away and cry, to start fresh and new.
"I'm actually glad you moved in with me, it feels nice talking to someone who's helped me"
With the murders?
"Hey, we finally reached one of our bucket lists! To be roomates! Huh, well isn't that kind of funny? And we didn't even plan it out- kinda just happened huh!"
He was just rubbing the salt in the wound at this point. Forcing a smile, you just continued eating, chewing your food as a distraction as he kept on staring at you. Where's his girlfriend? Why didn’t he just make her move into his apartment if you're in the way?
"Oh her? She's at work, don't worry about it"
You stop eating, finishing your plate as you push it towards Marco.
"All done? I'm glad you enjoyed it! Just sit right there while I put everything away"
Is there any way for you to escape? There has to be a way, right? What are you doing here? How long is Marco planning on keeping you alive?
"Hey, your not thinking of doing anything weird right?"
You nod your head no profusely, trying to get his suspicion off of you. Patting your shoulder, Marco motions you to the couch. Sitting down before you as he drags you along with him. Placing you on his lap, he turns on the TV- switching through channels while you freeze on the spot.
"Is there anything you want to tell me?"
Out of nowhere, his hands slowly begin to play with your shirt. His fingers rubbing up and down your sides, his crouch nearly pressing against you. Confused, you just sit there, your hands on your knees as you glued your eyes to the screen.
"You're not lying to me, are you?"
His voice is so sweet, so much closer than you anticapted. You nearly buck against his touch just as his palm brushes a certain spot ever so subtly. Why was he doing this? You had a slight speculation why - or at least a hopeful stupid thought that would fufill your old wishes.
"...If you say so"
You find yourself now sitting beside him, pushed off of his lap. Feeling the weight shift on the couch, Marco stood up and walked away for what seemed like forever.
"I just remembered I have to quickly run by to get some things. I'll be back.."
If like nothing happened, you were alone. Confused, you wave your hands around as you scrunch up your face. Talking to yourself as you pace around the room. Calming down, you walk towards the door. Examining it as you realised that Marco had left one of the security laches loose. Should you risk it? You could grab the butterknife he gave you for the meal to loosen the door..
Oh fuck.
You could perhaps finally leave.

If Ace had a child
Is absolutely terrified when he finds out. It’s not that he hadn’t thought about it, he had. Having a baby with you seems like a dream. But he had always shot that idea down. And it’s not because he’s a pirate but because who he is, because who his father is.
Does he even deserve to have a child??
You know the answer and gently hold him as he tells you his fears and worries, assuring him over and over again that he will be a wonderful father. He doesn’t completely believe you, but a faint smile appears nonetheless.
Whitebeard and the crew are ecstatic. A new member for their nakama. They’re going to be aunts and uncles! And the idea of being a grandpa? Oh, Whitebeard is ecstatic
Luffy and Sabo? Oh, they are excited. They’re going to be uncles!!! How could they not be excited!?
And he is happy, he truly is. But Ace wonders if he should be allowed to be excited. If he deserves to be happy. No matter what his crew or his brothers tell him he can’t help but think he doesn’t deserve this.
He struggles between excitement and dread until you're four months along and one day hurry over to him, excitement across your face. He looks at you confused as you hold his hand over the soft swell of your stomach. A few moments later he feels a soft tap against his hand. A kick.
The baby is kicking.
And suddenly all those worries, those fears that had been plaguing his mind vanish in the instant he feels the baby kick. A look of awe appears on his face. That soft fluttering from your stomach is answer enough. Your hand wraps around his, looking at him with a smile.
“Looks like they’re saying hi to Papa.”
He swallows and pulls you close, his hand pressed against your stomach. Seconds later the moment between the two of you is interrupted by the crew, all wanting to feel the baby kick.
After that first kick, Axe’s attitude changes towards the baby and the pregnancy.
He was already protective of you (especially after Marineford where you nearly died to save him), but now it’s magnified 100 times more. Forget trying to do anything remotely lifting. Ace is like a Velcro monkey to you and is always within throwing distance so you can barely pick up a box and he’s taking it out of your hands.
Not to mention that at night when he thinks you're asleep he starts talking to the baby bump, soft and gentle, as to not wake you. He tells them about his day, something one of the crewmen did, about his brothers. Occasionally he’ll talk about his fears and that he hopes he doesn’t fuck everything up with them. You can’t help but intervene at that point telling him he won’t. And even if he makes a mistake, he’s not alone.
He may or may not have nearly shit himself at that point.
You become all too aware that wherever you go, if Ace isn’t there, a commander or crewmate is never far behind you.
Ace had asked them, though it hadn’t taken much to convince them. After all this their crewmate and their niece or nephew too. How could they not make sure that both are safe?
You sigh but just accept your fate. You won’t be convincing your family to not follow you around like ducklings anytime soon
There’s a bet going around the crew as to when the baby will be born and whether it will be a boy or a girl.
They try very hard for you to not find out. They don’t have a death wish
If Marco knows during the examinations he does for you, he’s not telling the crew. He doesn’t even tell Ace (‘the damn bird’ Ace mutters angrily all while you laugh)
The food cravings and morning sickness you honestly could do without. Especially the morning sickness as Ace now wakes up nearly every morning to you puking. The ever dutiful lover he is, he holds your hair back and tries to help you out the best he can.
You want to be angry with him, but one look at that face and it dies on the tip of your tongue. Though your glare of annoyance is still there.
Then the moment finally arrives and you go into labor. And Ace is a nervous wreck, but is trying to be strong for you. He lets you grip his hand, lets you scream and curse at him. Making him promise to never put you through this again
He can’t tell if you’re being serious about the last comment, but wisely (for once, Marco would later tease) keeps his mouth shut
And after who knows how long, you finally deliver that precious little child into this world.
A little girl. You and Ace have a little girl.
The first time he holds his daughter, he just stares at her for the longest time, taking in every inch of her. She’s wrinkly and pink, and so tiny (how can a baby be that small), and wailing so loudly. There’s a tuft of black hair on top of her head and her one little hand doesn’t even wrap around his index finger
But he falls in love in an instant and is crying his eyes out. He doesn’t care if anyone makes fun of him for being a crybaby, his daughter is in his arms. Healthy and alive.
The moment Whitebeard and his crew meet the little girl, it’s love at first sight for the entire crew. She’s only been alive for no more than an hour but she is so tiny and so precious to them already.
Sabo and Luffy drop everything to go and meet their niece when they get word of her birth. It’s actually a race to get there before the other.
Because Sabo knows if he doesn’t get there before Luffy, he’ll never get to hold her.
Ace proves to be the ever doting father. He loves watching every little new thing she does. Every giggle and smile is precious to him. The way she reaches and clutches the red beads of his necklace or plays peek-a-boo with his hat makes him smile. He watches her sleep, her tiny chest rising and falling with each breath and he thanks whatever higher power that he gets to meet her.
For Sabo and Luffy that little girl can do no wrong in their eyes and she thoroughly enjoys it when they come to visit. She’s one of the only ones that can touch Luffy’s hat
Though her Papa’s hat is her favorite, much to Ace’s joy and his brother’s annoyance.
And if someone threatens his daughter? Or even attempts to harm her?
There won’t even be a body left to be buried. A well placed Fire Fist and they are nothing but ash.
Likewise if they think that Whitebeard’s crew won’t quickly annihilate anyone who goes after their niece/granddaughter they are sadly mistaken.
That’s not even mentioning if Sabo or Luffy get wind of someone threatening their niece.
It will be a bad day for anyone; marine, bandit, another pirate? Doesn’t matter. Go after her and be prepared to meet your maker.
Sometimes Ace worries he’ll be no better than his father. That one day his daughter will hate him as much as he hates his own father. But then he holds the little girl late at night, watching as she curls up in his arms and to his warmth, a tiny fist wrapped around his index finger and knows one thing:
He loves this little girl and nothing will change his mind.
