It's probably just me or idk maybe I'm a weirdo or just weirdly obsessed with Shining Armor or all them but when I see some AU about Twilight Sparkle or the main 6 I think "Oh cute I like it" thought in my mind if it looks nice or if it could just be better (I like a Jacked Applejack, okay? It's my favorite headcanon of Human Applejack but that is not the point)

The point is that somewhere in my brain says "Hey and Shining Armor? What would he be doing at that moment that it's mentioned in Twilight's life? He's her brother." I'm curious and sometimes I just feel ashamed to ask or I hold back from asking because relatively speaking he is not that important and obviously the important ones are the Main six but still. Like he could be important, he just needed development.

Like Flash Sentry, He could have been a really good character (from what I remember) if they had given him his own personality instead of just being a romantic interest for Twilight.

Like I needed more about Shining Armor (I saw MLP several years ago, many years ago so at that time I wasn't a big fan of him until that meme of him and Cadance "the bride and the ugly ass groom"? That one.)

It just uuuugh, Why didn't I become a super fan of Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy or Rarity (I like her she's cool)??? Nope it had to be Fucking Shining Armor, he's cool and I like the redesigns where they make him look more like his dad or make him have a bit more like kind of colors related to Twilight? or something like that.

I also like Big Mac, like just look at him he's so cool too. Like he's a big brother too, he also cares about his sisters, he probably is super jacked like so strong really strong too.

I got distracted from the initial topic which was "I think what would happen with Shining Armor in other people's AUs where they only mention Twilight or the main six."

Yeah. It was supposed to be a short post until I got distracted from my main idea but it's still an MLP post.

My rarity redesign! 💜💎( I swear her hair was my 13th reason-)

I used Arabian horses as inspiration for her silhouette since they're one of the most prestigious and expensive horse breeds. I made her long coated as I headcanon the unicorns in mlp to have longer coats than other breeds. I made her cutie mark stand out more and cover a big part of her back leg. I also added some accessories to add more finesse and changed her color because, why not-

ya'll I just had a super sad realization about Luna after watching s1 e1 of MLP. Cause you know how the Main Six is lead to the old castle and stuff and defeat Nightmare Moon there? Luna probably doesn't know it's been a thousand years, so she'd go there because that's where she and Celestia grew up, so she assumes that's where the capital still is, so when the main six is like "she captured Celestia!!!" Nightmare Moon is like "I what now? I don't even know where she is!"

But yeah, it's just so sad because Luna loses everything after the 1000 years and so when she comes back all the ponies she knew are dead and all the places she knew are gone, like the old castle and so she has to relearn about Equestria and catch up on 1000 years worth of lore and that would really mess her up. It would be like she came to a different Equestia.

Anyways, I'm having some Luna feels right now as per usual, and watching Lullaby for a Princess and Snowdrop is really hitting the feels. :(

The intro to season five is one of my favorites, and not because it introduces Starlight.

I feel like it is a great way to introduce the shift in the show, because honestly seasons 1-4 are kind of their own arch, with Twilight learning how to friendship, becoming a princess, and then learning what that will mean for her. Tirek and losing the library is a great way to conclude that chapter, because she goes from magic (studies) being more important than friendship, to friendship being more important than magic.

At the start of season five we have a whole new setting, the characters practically reintroduce themselves in the first scene, and we have the whole setup for the next arch of the show. Sure, you could simply say it's just the map and Starlight being introduced, but I think it's so important to this arch that they don't win. Sure, they get their cutie marks back and Starlight flees, but they don't defeat her, and the ponies in starlight's village get their cutie marks back for them.

None of them actually want to go on that mission and are just doing it to make Twilight feel better to begin with. A lot of the characters are slowly starting to come off as more resentful towards their roles, and I do think that's an important little detail to put in that first episode.

I could go way more into everything, but I will spare you from an even longer post. I am sick and tired rn.
