Hey! I had some Mother's Day headcanons I thought I'd share:

-Izuku goes all the way out on mother's day. I'm saying breakfast in bed, cleaning the whole house, making lunch, going shopping. He won't let Inko do any chore and will smother her in affection! (She always end up bawling and hugging him tight while saying how grown up he is)

-the Todoroki siblings go visit their mother in the hospital. They bring flowers, chocolate and chat for a while. Sometimes it gets awkward, but is really nice

-Dabi roams around the hospital area, but never dares get closer. He just wander for a bit before going back to the hideout/lair/his home with the League he will never call as such

-Shigaraki makes an effort to behave! He'll deny it has anything to do with the holiday, but everyone knows better. Kurogiri may not be his mom (or dad), but Shigaraki always tries to cause less trouble on mother's and father's day. The others surprisingly don't tease him that much for it! Dabi doesn't even try to rile him up on purpose

-when they caught up that Shigaraki kinda celebrated mother's day, Toga and Twice decided to make Kurogiri a special dinner! Magne helped so they don't burn the kitchen down and Mr. Compress complained they never do anything for him, but she just said he doesn't pass the "motherly vibes" check

-Kurogiri doesn't really eat, but he appreciates the attempt. And there were no fights the whole day! Best present ever

-Present Mic has a motherly vibes playlist ready just for this day and allows listeners to call on the breaks to send their moms messages on the radio. It's sweet

Please pretend its still mothers day

Izuku and Inko would have the sweetest mothers day. And birthdays. And just about any holiday! You know they would do absolutely everything for each other, and set aside the whole day to do something special!

Theres something so sweet yet so sad about the Todorokis on mothers day (prime angst fic anyone?)

You KNOW Compress would be a little bitch about only getting fathers day, and still having to share it with Kurogiri. I think he gets it tho, Kurogiri really is the momliest figure around for the league. He truly deserves one day of not having to corral his terrible children

I love the idea of Present Mic having playlists/call ins for special occasion, not just mothers day. I imagine his show gets a lot of traction on holidays because of how much people enjoy it

Cold, Flu, COVID Season’s Here: How About Having More Sex?

Just one more reason to get your cuffing season partner ASAP, chile.

Here we are. Right on the brink of cold, flu and COVID season combined. And who would've thought that when it comes to proactively fighting these viruses as well as combating some of the symptoms that come right along with them, having sex would be a truly effective, all-natural and totally satisfying remedy?

Before getting into that, though, I think it's important to put on record that while the cold, flu and COVID are all viruses, they are not one and the same. While I'm pretty sure you hear about what makes COVID, well, the way that it is ad nauseum (you can check out some CDC info here), as you're navigating through things like fevers, sore throats, coughing, congestion, headaches, fatigue, shortness of breath and other things that can make being sick an absolute nightmare, it's important to keep in mind that while a cold and the flu are both respiratory viruses, the flu has much more severe symptoms. 

Not only that but the first 3-4 days are when you typically catch the brunt of it all with colds and the flu taking 1-2 weeks to fully get past. It's also important to keep in mind that if you happen to have a fever, chills and a load of fatigue, that is usually not a common cold; that's usually the flu; however, if you're not exactly sure, you can always make an appointment to see your doctor (because again, COVID).

Now with all of that out of the way, how in the world does copulation (and/or oral sex) prove to be just about as effective as "an apple a day keeps the doctor away"? Sit tight. You might just be surprised.

Sex Lowers Your Stress Levels

There's nothing good that comes from being stressed out all of the time. That's why I'm such a huge supporter of people being extremely proactive when it comes to balancing out the stress triggers that are in their life. That said, I'm pretty sure it comes as no shocker to you that when you are stressed, it can compromise your immune system (more on that in just a sec). When that happens, your body can actually produce flu-like symptoms (ugh). That's the bad news. The good news is when you have sex, it raises your endorphin and oxytocin levels which are both feel-good hormones. Sex also has the ability to lower your cortisol (your natural stress hormone) levels as well as your blood pressure — and when it comes to managing stress, that is always a good thing.

Sex Boosts Your Immunity

There is absolutely no way that you can fight off viruses that lead to sickness if your immune system is shot. One way you can do that is by checking out the article, "Ready To Try 10 Quick & Easy Immune-Boosting Hacks?" on our site. Matter of fact, one of the points in it happens to give sex a big ole' shout-out. While it's kind of a long and scientific tale, the main reason why sex is so great for your immunity is because it helps your system to produce the kind of antibodies that are able to fight off viruses, bacteria and other germs that could lead to you not feeling very well. So, if you've not been making sex much of a priority these days, here's a really solid reason why you should definitely consider doing so.

Sperm/Semen Is a Multivitamin

An article that I wrote for the site a couple of years ago that received quite a bit of traction was, "Do You Swallow? The Unexpected Health Benefits Of Sperm". Something that is located within the mucous membranes of your lungs, sinuses, stomach, intestines and bodily fluids are antibodies known as Immunoglobulin A (IgA). These are cool because they help your body to get better at fighting off illnesses.

So, when you and your partner exchange saliva, you are actually increasing each other's IgA levels. There are even studies which cite that having sex 1-2 times a week can significantly boost your IgA levels too. Crazy, huh?

Orgasms Can Clear Up Congestion

So, if you happen to be someone who tries and avoids sex when your head is pounding, according to science, it's something that you actually should be totally open to running to instead of away from. Let me tell it, it beats the hell outta Advil and NyQuil. Maybe that's just me, though.

Certain Positions Can Reduce the Chance of Spreading Germs

Even though viruses like colds and the flu cannot be spread via sexual fluids, they can when someone coughs or sneezes (which is why still wearing a mask during this pandemic is so important). That's why you can definitely still run the risk of getting your partner sick if you decide to have sex while you are contagious (which is around two weeks with a cold or COVID and 3-7 days for the flu). Still, if you want to be able to get into some of the benefits that sex provides after the first few days of falling ill, the key is to get into positions where you and your partner aren't exactly face to face like spooning, doggy style and/or reverse cowgirl.

Sex Improves Your Quality of Sleep

One way that you can definitely make yourself vulnerable when it comes to catching a virus is not getting enough sleep ("getting enough" means sleeping no less than 6-8 hours every night, not every once in a while). That's because a result of sleep deprivation is a weakened immune system and, as we already addressed, the worse off your immune system is, the more susceptible you are to falling ill. I think we all can attest to the fact that a good round of sex can produce some of the best sleep EVER. That's because sex increases hormones like oxytocin, prolactin, progesterone, endorphins and dopamine — all of which help you to feel really good as they relax your system and calm your mind as well.

Like I said, virus 2.0 season is right in our faces (pun intended); that's unavoidable. But if you're open to having more sex than usual, you literally increase your chances of avoiding them. I can't think of a more gratifying, pleasurable and rewarding way to do it either. I really can't.

This isn’t a lov one but it’s really funny so I thought I’d put it out there:

-when bnha was first gaining traction on tumblr, it was all art of Tsuyu. I have no idea why. People were talking about the funky frog lesbian superhero anime. Maybe it was just the people I was following, maybe it was a general trend, but I LOVED her design!!! my fav color and frogs r super cute!!! And I already loved superhero media, so I was like. I’ll watch it. For Her. SO. FROPPY IS THE REASON I WATCHED/READ BNHA. I went in thinking she was the protag and I was sooo confused when Izuku was... tbh I still think it’d be more interesting if she was lmaooo aus where? ...seriously if anyone has good aus where this is the case send them LOL

-I don’t actually feel that bad abt what Shigaraki’s doing. I still feel bad for him. I’m this post. yes im an apologist. its not my fault hes sexy and has been running around shirtless. hes a lesbian icon like thor is. I want to touch his hair. hes never done anything wrong in his life. he could kill all might, deku, bakugo, whatever, I’d still be sayin this. I don’t feel bad for gt. like. was anyone genuinely attached to him? lmao

-well u know how spinner’s quirk is just sticking to things? We haven’t seen him use it in canon except like, (1) time iirc?? I think this is probably bc he’s embarrassed about it even in front of the league... I loooove the idea that he gets more comfortable with it around them :”) and also how shigaraki. um. does that falling asleep thing while standing up with his eyes open, canonly? (which I still love lmfao) Imagine someone in the league walking in a dark room, turning on the light n just seeing. Spinner upside down, stuck to the ceiling asleep bc heat rises and its Warmer Up There. (cold blooded thing like tsuyu?? come ON give him a big fuzzy coat and scarf...) and Shigaraki in the center of the room, slouched but still standing, eyes open and motionless. Theyre both sleeping. Whomever sees it just...slowly walks out. LMAO

-Toga roller derby au. No deep thoughts I just think she’d be good at it. 

-Toga 100% is a social butterfly and could befriend anyone if they didn’t just judge the fact she was trying to stab them smh :/ (ok but seriously anytime I see cute friendships with her n the other kids im like :) aw. I feel like her and Camie...would be good friends. Camie feels chill enough to be like ‘ok whatever thats totally fine I forgive you!!’ LMAO we love airheads here)

-HOW DID TOGA GET SO GOOD AT FIGHTING? We know she’s been on the run since middle school or so, but good enough to pin Deku down after he’s been formally trained at a ~hero school~ for a while? (she pinned him TWICE I think, once when his arms were messed up, but, the other time as Camie, so? AND THEN WAS ONE OF THE 100 PEOPLE TO GO THRU TO THE 2ND ROUND OF THAT? even tho she didn’t bc she had to leave) good enough to beat Aizawa in a fight and stab him? A professional hero and teacher for YEARS? Is that seriously just street training??? Can people acknowledge how amazing her combat skills and reflexes are??? More Toga appreciation when?? Also her backstory??? SO subversive and incredible, hate when people reduce her to just a ~typical anime yandere~ :/

-Tomura doing stuff with his hands/fingers to train his quirk!!! And to learn to be careful with it!! obv I’m a Big Fan of him playing piano to do this and video games are prob the canon answer, but like, guitar or any stringed instrument that requires Hands would work too. Or knitting/sewing? EMBROIDERING? ??? Please, let me give you the mental image of him knitting aggressively while mentally scheming, watching a twitch streamer or smth too while doing it. (Doing stuff with your hands is a great way to let your mind come up with creative stuff, that’s how I come up with writing/drawing ideas 70% of the time)

-Tomura actually PREFERS cutesty, relaxing games. I mean, he does fighting and bloody stuff irl, games are a way to relax...he’ll play shooters and gta type games with The Lads, but. on his own?? animal crossing. pokemon. kirby games. mario. zelda. BIG ZELDA FAN (not saying this bc I, personally, am biased, but,) slime rancher, stardew valley, funny simulator games... he really enjoys those :”) God forbid he has a kid bc they’re 100% getting named after a viddy game character unless someone can talk him out of it LOL. Toga and Tomura are that animal crossing /doom meme where she’d be asking for doom and him asking for animal crossing :”)

-Bits and pieces of Before are kinda stuck in Kurogiri’s brain, but like. mostly useless stuff the doctor didn’t care about removing. Like, types of clouds. So Tomura kinda picks up on stuff like that. He can just look at clouds and tell you what type they are because Kurogiri used to take him up to high places in the city and point them out to calm Tomura down from a panic attack when he was younger. He can tell you if the sky looks like it’ll rain with a 80% accuracy rate too. 

-Kurogiri left food out for kitties in the alley beside the bar. They weren’t allowed in for Health Reasons (it IS a bar with sanitation standards!!) And Tomura really wouldn’t stop it or encourage it either way so long as Kurogiri did his job, but occasionally would stand outside with Kurogiri and just watch the kitties from a distance. If any approached he’d go back in (lowkey afraid he’d hurt them by touching them :( ) They kinda kept that between them tho, bc they both Know AFO is a big bag of dicks and no fun

-people have pointed out how similar aizawa and tomura look. this was 100% the intention. tomura has a hatecrush on him. THIS IS SO FUNNY AND HORRIBLY AWKWARD FOR KUROGIRI LMAO

-Sako??? Mr. Dramatic?? Opera fan. Drama kid. Like, obviously, but. Really. He is. I feel like he can speak a dozen languages. I also feel like he used to be an overachiever but got too ambitious. He was def some kind of leader at one point of a diff Group or something that fell apart. I LOVE how creative he is with his quirk and the magician theme??? incredible. I don’t show him enough love but I Love Clowns :o)

-I don’t care what their canon heights are. Spinner and Dabi? short kings. My height hcs are (tallest to shortest) Kurogiri, Twice, Sako (who also has heels on his boots and a tall hat, keep in mind), Tomura, Magne (Tomura and Magne are about the same height imo) Toga, Spinner, Dabi. LISTEN. Dabi has short energy. Sorry. it’s true tho

-This is a semi-popular hc I think bc I KNOW I’ve seen it before, but Dabi having Terrible Vision and needing glasses is so so good. (seriously, with burns THAT close to his eyeballs, how could he not?) 

-he tries to be a tough loner coolguy. you’d think he’d smoke, but I hc his ‘weak constitution’ comes with weak lungs (esp from years of a flame quirk?? inhaling smoke over so much time is SO bad for you, most people who die in fires actually die of smoke inhalation...) so he’s got like, an inhaler, can’t smoke, actually gets carsick, needs glasses, overuses quirk to save friends constantly, likes napping, a little awkward and rude. Tomura put him in charge of the vanguard so he’s smart, and good with strategies too, like a nerd. this is the Dabi I wanna see, not the popular fandom version of him tbh also step on hawks one more time sir :”)

-I wish all the lov fics weren’t?? villain!deku like I said earlier, but also, chatfics? I have nothing against them but most of them are just a bombardment of Memes with NO PLOT!!! Listen. text/chatfics CAN have plot and be an interesting way to tell a story. I almost want to write one just to show what I mean...

I know I’ve said I like spinaraki and blackmagic, but I am a multishipper, so a few ships I don’t talk about that I like that involve the lov in some way:

-toga/any of the 1A girls??? or Camie??? super interesting. ALSO in the radio drama, bakugo’s voice actor said Toga was his favorite girl??? so?? bakugo/toga ?? I WANT TO SEE IT. but specifically my fav dynamic with her is when someone ELSE is the one to like her first, it’s what she deserves.

-Kurogiri/aizawa/mic?? any variety of that is also 👌🏻 I also kinda wanna see kurogiri/all might bc. Dads. COME ON. they bond over ‘well, I raised him, and you want to have a part in his life now?? ok. earn it. prove it. I’ll screen you first’ or something LMAO they’re both genuinely concerned for the boy, and SOOO biased. let them bond.

-WAIT WHERE IS THE MIC/COMPRESS CONTENT. THEYRE BOTH DRAMATIC. ENEMIES TO LOVERS?? HELLO??? SOMEONE?? ANYONE. rarepair hours

-giran/twice is cute. like he was hyping him up so much and so ready to go save him...

-I’ve also seen shiganatsu and shigafuyu and I’m like. these are cute, but also Dabi’s reaction always makes me cry laugh. so good.

-MOST EVERYONE IN THE LOV IS LGBTQA+!!! heres my personal headcanons:

Toga: pan or bi (CANON BASICALLY)

Magne: transwoman (CANON BABEY) bi, leans towards men. (her crush on dabi in bnha smash... uwu content where)

Shuichi: gets sooooo flustered canonly, I think he’d go for the first person Who Hit On Him (I can see him being the target of those mean pranks where someone says ‘my friend likes you!!’ and the friend is like ‘eww!!’ :(((( ) he’s super hesitant for romance, lots of repressed stuff. gay but takes sooo long to realize it bc he thinks most women are conventionally pretty Aesthethically, feels obligated to Like Them, but has bad self esteem so never goes after them, then only likes (1) guy so hes like?? is this allowed?? is this allowed???? (HES LIKE. IN LOVE WITH SHIGARAKI)

Dabi: bi but rly hasn’t ever gotten to date anyone, so he’s actually more reserved about it and while he’ll tease, he absolutely is absent and kinda oblivious (again, I KNOWWWW bnha smash isnt canon, but. my god. when magne is hitting on him and he Just Doesnt Understand.) also hes ace

im just gonna put down all my ideas for my dabihawks youtuber au on here!

channels:

Hawks - 3rd most subscribed, gaming/makeup/reaction videos! Profile picture is just a selfie and his channel banner is probably a shitty meme.

Dabi - Honestly his personal channel he just does whatever the fuck he wants. Guitar vids? Check. Cooking vids? You got it. Arson? Graffiti? :)

Toga - SFX makeup, like blood and stuff! Also she has the ability to like replicate a real person with her makeup, she’s really good it’s almost uncanny.

Shigaraki - He is a gamer. He’s not AS popular as Hawks but he’s gained a lot of traction because he’s famous for raging. (Would he have one of those really annoying dubsteb intros? You know what I’m talking about?)

Twice - Definitely a comedy channel, Mr. Compress - Magician, Spinner - Knive tutorials, Magne - Funny skits

Kurogiri - He has a channel that shows tutorials on special effects and video editing but he also mostly helps edit everyone else’s stuff when they need it.

THE LEAGUE OF VILLAINS ALL HAVE THEIR OWN CHANNEL,,, they review videos, do illegal shit, and just have a fun time. it’s actually pretty popular,, not in the top ten but they have a pretty dedicated fanbase <3

All Might - #1 channel! He is a motivational pep speaker.

Endeavor - He’s....#2 (though uh not for long ;)) He does gun videos and at some point just,,, a ton of apology videos.

Midoriya - An analyst channel! He’s very good at figuring out how the workings of Youtube work, and he’s known for his extremely cultivated theories that are basically 100% proven with all the sources he sites. Midoriya is very smart ;3 I think because he likes All Might so much he’d also want to do some motivational stuff too

Todoroki - Crack theory channel. “Is Midoriya All Might’s illegitimate child?” is an actual video. Midoriya and Todoroki are friends and they collaborate a ton, though it’s mostly Midoriya disproving Todoroki’s theories >U<

Bakugou - he explodes EVERYTHING on his channel. bread, tables, he explodes explosions. 

Kirishima - He’s a channel that tests the durability of things and how long they can withstand certain things. he teams up with Bakugou a lot to see if his items can withstand his explosions.

Ochako is a space channel and Tsuyu is a frog channel!

Bakusquad DEFINITELY has their own channel where they just get into shenanigans!! Kaminari and Sero both share their own personal meme channel and Ashido does makeup and clothing hauls and all that <3

Best Jeanist does jeans.

Momo has a ton of tutorials on how to make things from scratch and Jirou does a lot of covers (and also originals)

The Iida’s all share a channel where they give positive mental health talks and they also just. Go fast. Tensei is a memelord while Tenya is,,, Tenya <3

SO BASICALLY THE WHOLE THING Starts off with excerpts from Hawks video kind of? He’s playing...Stardew Valley :3 And they are reviewing his channel because he’s literally the #3 most popular youtuber!! Shigaraki is watching his gameplay, and he’s played Stardew before, so he’s kind of just giving tips…? They’re also kind of making fun of Hawks because that is what they do. Kind of. The League is making offhand remarks about it, and finally Dabi’s like “he’s hot” and everyone just stops. And then they all laugh and Dabi just shrugs and is like “i said what i said.”

We cut back to Hawks thinking of video ideas when he starts getting a lot of notifications on Twitter. His followers are tagging him saying the LoV made a video on him, so Hawks gets the idea to react to their video! He watches their videos actually... and knows that they do illegal activities… but he doesn’t really care in this AU. They aren’t really hurting anyone! 

So Hawks does the video, and he gets to the part where Dabi calls him hot and he’s caught off guard. So how does he react? He looks straight into the camera and is like “hmu on twitter ;)” except in human speak.

Memes are (obviously) made showing Hawks reaction and Dabi catches hold of it and is like “okay” and literally texts him on Twitter! So they text for quite a while...some of it snark, others genuine conversation, and borderline flirty (? yeah)

So!!!! They eventually agree to do a collab…:) except they don’t know what kind of collab. Dabi suggests Hawks appear in one of the LoV’s videos and Hawks agrees like the gamer he is.

So they do that collab (stupid stunts !! ofc) and Hawks finds himself having a lot more fun than usual. And yeah then the rest is just shenanigans and eventually… getting together ;)

Obviously there will be a lot of conflict because...duh. I don’t really have a lot of arcs planned out but I have one (1)!!!

Occasionally there will be snippets of the other channels as well!!! Kind of as intermissions.

I really am looking forward to writing this,,, it’s gonna be social media/actual fic and i really hope i can make it and finish it.

Cold, Flu, COVID Season’s Here: How About Having More Sex?

Here we are. Right on the brink of cold, flu and COVID season combined. And who would've thought that when it comes to proactively fighting these viruses as well as combating some of the symptoms that come right along with them, having sex would be a truly effective, all-natural and totally satisfying remedy?

Before getting into that, though, I think it's important to put on record that while the cold, flu and COVID are all viruses, they are not one and the same. While I'm pretty sure you hear about what makes COVID, well, the way that it is ad nauseum (you can check out some CDC info here), as you're navigating through things like fevers, sore throats, coughing, congestion, headaches, fatigue, shortness of breath and other things that can make being sick an absolute nightmare, it's important to keep in mind that while a cold and the flu are both respiratory viruses, the flu has much more severe symptoms. 

Not only that but the first 3-4 days are when you typically catch the brunt of it all with colds and the flu taking 1-2 weeks to fully get past. It's also important to keep in mind that if you happen to have a fever, chills and a load of fatigue, that is usually not a common cold; that's usually the flu; however, if you're not exactly sure, you can always make an appointment to see your doctor (because again, COVID).

Now with all of that out of the way, how in the world does copulation (and/or oral sex) prove to be just about as effective as "an apple a day keeps the doctor away"? Sit tight. You might just be surprised.

Sex Lowers Your Stress Levels

There's nothing good that comes from being stressed out all of the time. That's why I'm such a huge supporter of people being extremely proactive when it comes to balancing out the stress triggers that are in their life. That said, I'm pretty sure it comes as no shocker to you that when you are stressed, it can compromise your immune system (more on that in just a sec). When that happens, your body can actually produce flu-like symptoms (ugh). That's the bad news. The good news is when you have sex, it raises your endorphin and oxytocin levels which are both feel-good hormones. Sex also has the ability to lower your cortisol (your natural stress hormone) levels as well as your blood pressure — and when it comes to managing stress, that is always a good thing.

Sex Boosts Your Immunity

There is absolutely no way that you can fight off viruses that lead to sickness if your immune system is shot. Let me tell it, it beats the hell outta Advil and NyQuil. Maybe that's just me, though.

Certain Positions Can Reduce the Chance of Spreading Germs

Even though viruses like colds and the flu cannot be spread via sexual fluids, they can when someone coughs or sneezes (which is why still wearing a mask during this pandemic is so important). That's why you can definitely still run the risk of getting your partner sick if you decide to have sex while you are contagious (which is around two weeks with a cold orCOVID and 3-7 days for the flu). Still, if you want to be able to get into some of the benefits that sex provides after the first few days of falling ill, the key is to get into positions where you and your partner aren't exactly face to face like spooning, doggy style and/or reverse cowgirl.

Sex Improves Your Quality of Sleep

One way that you can definitely make yourself vulnerable when it comes to catching a virus is not getting enough sleep ("getting enough" means sleeping no less than 6-8 hours every night, not every once in a while). That's because a result of sleep deprivation is a weakened immune system and, as we already addressed, the worse off your immune system is, the more susceptible you are to falling ill. I think we all can attest to the fact that a good round of sex can produce some of the best sleep EVER. That's because sex increases hormones like oxytocin, prolactin, progesterone, endorphins and dopamine — all of which help you to feel really good as they relax your system and calm your mind as well.

Like I said, virus 2.0 season is right in our faces (pun intended); that's unavoidable. But if you're open to having more sex than usual, you literally increase your chances of avoiding them. I can't think of a more gratifying, pleasurable and rewarding way to do it either. I really can't.
