hey everyone! it's been a while, huh? I got to animate one of the last shots for the Tazanimated project from a few years back!

it was TONS of fun revisiting old favs <3

compared to the first shot I did all the way back in 2017, I've learned a lot since then, so I'm happy I was able to do this!

Here There Be Gerblins

The Tres Horny Bois went down well so I thought I’d continue with drawing how I picture the characters from TAZ Balance. Here’s some of the main players from the first Arc - sans Klarg because I couldn’t get him right.

Also had to take the opportunity to draw the first Grand Relic, so if I continue this we’ll definitely see all 7.

Claude von Riegan/Flayn (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

"ok so tbh i didnt consider this ship when i first played the game either (in fact _i_ married claude,,,) but about a year ago i laid out a fic outline for them bonding over something that doesnt come up much in the game and i found they had good chemistry and, actually, a lot in common (their support chain even involves them trying to figure out each others secrets, and claude doesnt have many A+ support chains) but then when i went to look for art or fic,,,, suffice it to say it just made me double down. theyre both just not who they present themselves to be, and i love seeing characters like that find intimacy in each other with mutual secrets (claudes a secret foreign prince and flayn's a secret dragon) and theyre both just so nice and they both care so deeply. i just love them."

Speculative Biology doodles for why I draw Elves the way I do feat. some TAZ characters (and my own DnD pc because I. Forgot I draw Kuo as a Fey Eladrin whoops I'm sorry Kuo). Also this is hinged on the whole "evolved to live in the woods" so some of these might not apply to these characters specifically just why I draw Elves in general like this

Edit: forgot to write exactly why I have the hands in the page lol, it's cuz Elf Kits have paw pads for when they're still crawling and need more protection for their hands, and grow out of them as they get older and learn to walk (though it takes some time and can be seen slightly even into some Elves teens)

Possibly part 1/? (I have many more thoughts lol. Though I might focus more on the other Eladrin from 2e and 3.5e because they're my favorites so it wouldn't be TAZ related lmao)
