So I brought this up to dear motley a while ago but TO MEEEE on the bleeders cover

The blood kinda looks like a rose, right?? And then I was like oh Sweeney COULD be interpreted as like, a really fucked up love story not only because of the relationship between Sweeney and Lovett but because of the fact that it’s finding out Lucy’s fate that truly drives Sweeney to madness.
