*Living in a muslime Hosuehold for so long, Wolf had picked up a preference for cats. She still loves dogs because she grew up with her Fathers Hunting-Dogs, but eventually Dogs are still a connection to the person she had been once and cats were the favorite animals of Asada which Wolf aspires to mimic as much as possible. So its always cats for her as she wants to be and like what Asada liked. **Wolf has a very different definition of casual and elegant, mostly because in her time clothes are the only way to show your own social status.Or pretend you are a lot of better off than you actually are. So Wolf keeps her cloak and dress clean and will embroider neatly any piece of cloth she gets becaus eits the only thing on herself with hich she can actually send messages to her enviorment. No neutrals for her, if she gets her hands on colour shes going to use it like a madman. *** Wolf uses a Dane Axe because one can hit as much as block with a Dane Axe freely (Axe head for attack or hooking behind shields or feet to pull them away, wooden grasp to block). However, if she would be given a shortsword or a onehand axe, she would always also use a shield. Wolf is too well trained in combat to even think of risking to leave herself open to be attacked or put more emphasis on offence or defence. ****No forks in her age. You use your spoon with a pointed end like the peasant you are! ***** In general Wolf is very aware that any romantic relationship she has will not end well. She is Spiderman, so every person she is romantically involved with will always be on second place beneath her having the duty of protecting other people. Not mentioned that the people she is in love with are: A) A nun whos vows Wolf respects and would never ask to break them because she admires people who live for their duty to help other people (her MJ as Metke Jael). B) One of her Worlds Black Cats who is a man called Hinze and with whom she has a very casual friends-with-benefits relationship with (Connecting over both of them beeing survivors of the Childrens Crusades and both from Cologne), but who for one has not enough property to marry and Wolf wants him to find someone else with whom he can actually live a peaceful happy life with, and who is on the other hand very much in love with Wolf and Wolfs Option C) and things with Option C) are very complicated. C) Her worlds Electro with whom she had a threesome together with Hinzewhen celebrating Floralia. It was maynight. Do not judge things happening on Maynight. Its literally a festival about "new life awakening after the long winter", what do people think the guys celebrating Florifertum are doing? Picking flowers? Release Hares and Goats? Anyway, the threesome happned, Hinze and Wolf had a lot of fun in that night and one month later Wolf was grilled by a Mercenary with electricity against her hauberk and Helmet, literally cooking her alive in her armor. That Mercenary turned out to not only be the third party of that one-night-stand, but a Mercenary hired by her Worlds kingpin to hunt her down, and the son of a noblewoman whom Wolf murdered when she was a robber fourteen years ago. To his defence he only noticed that the murderer of his mother whom he had grilled had been part of said threesome after she was grilled. It made the whole situation very complicated very fast and noone of the three involved parties is very happy with the situation. Accordingly Wolf prefers love at first sight because she knows that no romantic relationship of her has a future to mature in anything better than the mess that is already her lovelife.

CHAPTER I PART I
REDEMPTION
Os Ferventis Prison ⤬  January 13th 12AM 1706.
BOILING MOUTH, a prison with a reputation to house lunatics, murderers and the scum of the earth. Savery is a form of survival beyond this impossible prison that stands tall like a tower - located near the fortress of Solaro. To dream of death is mercy to those shackled like animals for slaughter in this madman’s house. Here you’re chained by the throat to suffer silence as you bide your time in the despair of awaiting to be offered a measly plot in a nameless graveyard. Surrounded by the ocean on all sides, it is a sentence murmured for the damned - pray to all the Gods and perhaps they shall grant you a painful and restful demise.
But tonight is a night like no other.
Solaro shines in its glory as it celebrates its Emperor’s birth. Crowned and hailed as the almighty and great Emperor Antiochus II, the country and its many citizens are expected to hold extravagant festivities offered in gold, pearls, land and people. And thus, the ornate revelry of the kingdom has set the stage for an impossible mission that has never been achieved before. A dangerous idea set in motion by one arrogant man. Painstakingly, GOD KILLER has spent the last several years orchestrating an intricate plan into motion. The beginning is now, and from the shadows he shall step to launch forward in the Great Pirate Race. With or without birthright, it’s time to make his own mark.
Yet despite the chaos that follows and the unraveling of events from the outside, the Captain who’s set forth all in motion remains missing.
Instead, he’s sent a message - one for each squadron; carefully selected and chosen to join him on the race for the hunt of GOD. Each and every one invited for select criteria; that being - degenerate filth with the appetite for violence and crimes, each being worse than the next. And yet there’s pride in his decision, one that feels like the start of cementing a myth itself. Freedom lies beyond the horizon, this is the first trial that stands in this crew’s path. Paradise is impossible if you haven’t tasted Hell.
Machinations set into motion - the Marines have set their focus elsewhere for this evening, some choosing to succumb to all the sins offered to man. And through careful persuasion of twisted mouths; blood between the knuckles and a blade plunged through tender skin - each and every one has assembled. And yet, they stand amongst their enemies in perplexation as a note is left, messily scrawled in words that appear akin to chicken scratchings.
A note marked with AT, a scribble of what appears to be a knife and a skull in the corner.
Dear Whores, Scum & Pieces of Shit
If you’re reading this, I’m already long fucking gone. But, this isn’t to say that I’ve abandoned you from the proposition I’ve made. Rather, I’ve provided an opportunity for each and every single one of you to join me on my journey to capturing GENESIS. Your first trial lies ahead. You don’t have much time so unless you’d prefer to rot to your death, I’d hurry the fuck up. Also, it's up to you to remove the collars on your neck, if you don’t it’ll detonate the moment you step off this prison.
Also, I’m expecting all of you. Should one person be found slaughtered, you’ll be trapped here for the remainder of your ungrateful shitty little life. So don’t fuck it up. See you soon assholes.
The Best Captain.  Axar

[ 𝐔𝐍𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 ] FLOWER OF ICE, CROOKED HOUND, MASTER OF DEATH, MOON BLADE, BLOOD THIEF.
The group reads the note to their annoyance as they stand amongst each other. CROOKED HOUND pries the piece of paper off the wall, they flip it over to study the back, “I believe it’s for the best we work together to make it out alive.” FLOWER OF ICE seemingly nods her head but her eyes flitter to MASTER OF DEATH in utmost distraction - a person of interest who was finally standing before her. MOON BLADE parts her mouth, “I think that’s a brilliant idea brother,” a feigned innocence in her voice as she licks the corner of her lips, a dig just for him. BLOOD THIEF ignores the others and is the first to navigate in another direction. From a distance, the sound of footsteps and quiet murmurs could be heard from the approaching guards.
There is no other choice but to move onward, the collective group making their way to an iron door. And it’s with the strength of FLOWER OF ICE that unlatches it, making way for them.
Pitter patter.
It continues to drip.
A gurgle of sound echoes from beneath the ground. “Oh no …” MOON BLADE is first to notice.
There’s nothing quite like walking through filth and being knee high in the putrid stench of contaminated water in combination with excessive waste disposal.

[ 𝐔𝐍𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 ] MADAME MASSACRE, DEMON EATER, QUEEN OF PLAGUE, KING OF DROUGHT, CURSED SOLDIER, RAZOR FIST.
The hostility is thick in the air as there is indisputable tension lingering between all parties. CURSED SOLDIER is the first to speak, “there’s something on the back of this.”
“Well tell us what the hell it is,” QUEEN OF PLAGUE hisses the words with lethality. The others glance at the paper, there are two drawings, both which appear entirely unfamiliar to all. “It’s a series of arrows,” DEMON EATER pieces together, “and a fucking symbol,” MADAME MASSACRE finishes. “Let’s fucking go then, I’m planning to make it out alive,” RAZOR FIST announces as he sprints off first. KING OF DROUGHT follows quietly after but his steps are paced more carefully as he looks toward the signs on the wall and the paper.
It isn’t long before they arrive at a twelve foot door, made of steel, intricate carvings marked on all parts. DEMON EATER lifts up the paper - the symbol matching perfectly. Now lies the problem of opening the gateway to whatever hell lies beyond. “Fuck, do you think we can run through that?”
“Unless you want to die,” says KING OF DROUGHT to RAZOR FIST.
“Let’s look around, there’s got to be a way in.” DEMON EATER interrupts.

[ 𝐔𝐍𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 ]  SAINT GUILLOTINE, CHILD OF FLAMES, LITTLE MISS RED, BELLS OF HELL, SUNKEN WITCH,  ANGEL OF TERROR.
LITTLE MISS RED flips over the note this time - the words are written in a language she doesn’t quite understand. The others stare at the words in equal confusion, some blatantly more lost than others. “I can’t read,” SAINT GUILLOTINE confesses. ANGEL OF TERROR eyes the other, making no verbal comment but the expression that lingers on his face is enough to reveal his feelings.
“We should fucking burn it,” CHILD OF FLAMES declares, pyromancy apparently the answer to everything. “And where would we get the fire?” SUNKEN WITCH remarks, a brow turned upward.
“Read it later, we got a prison to escape,” BELLS OF HELL quips.  The path that unfolds before them is one that looks both decrypt and touched by grime. It appears to be a secluded area within the prison that’s never been touched. The walls are covered with what appears to be moss and vines, small insects crawling through the cracks present. The group walks onward with little trouble.
But a rumble can be heard from a distance.

alright just wanna preface this by saying this post is made on the basis of a myriad of half baked thoughts that have flitted through my brain over the years. my relationship with god and religion is confusing even to myself. and i think the conversation surrounding god and religion will never reach a common ground. these are my thoughts only, which can and probably will change in the future.
given the current trend, the number of people who consider themselves religious is dropping and will continue to do so in the future, at probably an even more accelerating rate.
here's the thing, although i do agree that a LOT of issues are caused directly or indirectly due to religion, i think a lot of people hold themselves back in the fear of karm.
that being said, a lot of perpetrators of violence are religious (not even counting violence that can be directly linked to religious beliefs)
BUT. we can say that as time goes by, education will be more accessible which can be linked to increase in tolerance. moreover the very obvious and rapid denunciation of religion will also lead to the power being taken away from religious individuals. the blind and unyielding trust in them will be replaced with scrutiny.
moreover, religious fanaticism will probably take a hit too.
as for unrelated crimes committed by religious individuals, i think they can be countered with education and (hopefully) better justice systems. talks of therapy and mental health have also started to loose the stigma surrounding them and although it may take quite some time to get to the peak, i think we're steadily heading that way.
all pluses upto here right?
yeah so let's say atheism is at its peak right now. this is how things can slowly start to descend.
nietchze argues- that humans enjoy being wicked just for the sake of being wicked or- the carnal delight “de faire le mal pour le plaisir de le faire,” to act wicked for the pleasure of being wicked.
a lot of times a myriad of torture and execution methods were displayed in royal marriages and festivals as a sick form of entertainment.
he argues is that bad conscience, in its developed form as the feeling of guilt, particularly associated with Christianity, is a form of legitimized cruelty turned inwards upon oneself. Nietzsche posits a fundamental human tendency to experience pleasure in inflicting suffering. He assigns the origins of bad conscience to ‘internalization’, in which aggressive instincts, curbed by civilized society, express themselves towards the self. The Christian God is invented as the perpetual guarantee of our deserving punishment for having aggressive animal instincts. Thus, bad conscience gains its value from the same origin as the instincts it opposes. (src)
now without having a god to cater to, will we slowly start loosing are morality, morality that quite possibly originated as a response to fear of god and what waits for us beyond death.
this may sound stupid because it is almost like we were born with a moral compass that was etched into our brains, but that is not the case.
and i am not saying that as soon as atheism takes over people will start torturing one another.
ok wait lemme bring out my notes from the gay science by nietchze lol-

[the parables of a madman]
so the arguments that have been put forward go something like this-
Tumblr media
[alright so the graph above doesn't represent time frame (obviously) and is a very rough representation of what i am trying to convey]
but something that we havent considered yet is spirituality. i do think that religion will probably loose its pedestal in the next century, but imo, spirituality will not traverse the same path.
a society devoid of religion is not synonymous with a society devoid of suffering. and that is what spirituality does. it provides comfort of a meaning.
"People want to escape suffering, but if they can’t get out of it, they want to find meaning,” Norenzayan says. “For some reason, religion seems to give meaning to suffering – much more so than any secular ideal or belief that we know of.”
ok now i want to argue that people are being more cynical ab religion due to a number if stuff, moreover, spirituality as a whole is a more fluid and inclusive term for a myriad of varying beliefs.
as for suffering, that is something i agree with whole heartedly. the only thing that tethers me to theism is the hope that justice is served somewhere somehow. my mind refuses to even entertain the possibility of death being the final stage, because it just makes the world so much worse than it already is
But even if the world’s troubles were miraculously solved and we all led peaceful lives in equity, religion would probably still be around. This is because a god-shaped hole seems to exist in our species’ neuropsychology, thanks to a quirk of our evolution. Understanding this requires a delve into “dual process theory”. This psychological staple states that we have two very basic forms of thought: System 1 and System 2. System 2 evolved relatively recently. It’s the voice in our head – the narrator who never seems to shut up – that enables us to plan and think logically. In addition to helping us navigate the dangers of the world and find a mate, some scholars think that System 1 also enabled religions to evolve and perpetuate. System 1, for example, makes us instinctually primed to see life forces – a phenomenon called hypersensitive agency detection – everywhere we go, regardless of whether they’re there or not. Millennia ago, that tendency probably helped us avoid concealed danger, such as lions crouched in the grass or venomous snakes concealed in the bush. But it also made us vulnerable to inferring the existence of invisible agents – whether they took the form of a benevolent god watching over us, an unappeased ancestor punishing us with a drought or a monster lurking in the shadows. “A Scandinavian psychologist colleague of mine who is an atheist told me that his three-year-old daughter recently walked up to him and said, ‘God is everywhere all of the time.’ He and his wife couldn’t figure out where she’d gotten that idea from,” says Justin Barrett, director of the Thrive Center for Human Development at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, and author of Born Believers. “For his daughter, god was an elderly woman, so you know she didn’t get it from the Lutheran church.” For all of these reasons, many scholars believe that religion arose as “a byproduct of our cognitive disposition”, says Robert McCauley, director of the Center for Mind, Brain and Culture at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and author of Why Religion Is Natural and Science Is Not. “Religions are cultural arrangements that evolved to engage and exploit these natural capacities in humans.” src
what i mean to say is that even though we might be able to get rid of religion, i dont think we'll ever truly get over spirituality.
“With education, exposure to science and critical thinking, people might stop trusting their intuitions,” Norenzayan says. “But the intuitions are there.”
this poses a challenge to everything i said above the graph (for the better of course)

Michael makes an entrance!
My first go of a proper cosplay for the Madman festival in Sydney this weekend. I had to watch the same Youtube video of one performance of Two Player Game in order to get good enough reference photos for all the patches, including the back. I ended up hand-painting a few of them including the floppy disk, Bjork, and mean people suck patches. I’m still waiting on a few patches for the back so it’ll hopefully be fully complete for the next con.
I also decided to be extra and make a fake slushie prop using instant snow, glue and food colouring (and a touch of cherry flavouring so it smelled nice).

Despite going to an anime con (and not cosplaying Regis), I still had a very Witcher-y weekend with my purchases.
Gwent cards, wolven steel sword, and a giant hedgehog plushie now named Emhyr.
