You’re at some party they’re having backstage. Sitting on James’ lap and him holding your jaw with one hand as he brings a glass of vodka to your lips. As you sip it, he’s just saying shit like “good girl,” and holds you closer to him. He starts kissing your neck as he makes eye contact with some random man that was obviously trying to flirt with you 🏃‍♀️

my fucking god.

i have so many fantasies about sitting on james' lap in a public setting and you're both a little tipsy so the public displays of affection come quicker and in more risky ways. the possessiveness heightens as well so when he sees a man (who you think is just being friendly) he has to show who you belong to.

he'd whisk you away to the couch and pull you down onto his lap, circling his arms around you and pulling you close to his chest.

"what are you doing?" you'd giggle, slightly inebriated and just tipsy enough that everything is funny.

"shhhh." he'd press a finger to your lips, keeping you tight against him as he picked a shot from the table. removing his finger, he raised the rim to your lips, raising his eyebrows as you looked at him with mirth.

"what?" you'd tease. "you tryna get me more drunk?"

"i wouldn't be offering you a drink if that wasn't the case." he presses the glass firmly against your lips. "now, drink."

you narrow your eyes at him, snorting a laugh before opening your mouth and letting him tip the contents of the shot glass down your throat.

"there you go..." he's gripping your waist tightly, keeping you firmly sat in his lap. "good girl...wasn't so hard was it?"

you swallow down the drink with a small grimace, the burn pleasant and unpleasant all at the same time.

"it is hard when you're forcing it down my throat." your attempt at scolding him goes unnoticed, the smile giving away your true intentions and he leans back in his seat, taking you with him and making you grip onto his shirt to stop you from falling.

"c'mere." he practically purrs, running his fingers through your hair and gripping at the strands, forcing your mouth to his. the kiss wasn't sweet, all tongue and teeth and domineering, used to take your breath away and stop you from talking back.

"what was that for?" you'd breathe out, hiccuping and giggling, the drink fuelling your behaviour.

he shrugged, his hands finding their home on your waist.

"you're just pretty."

"yeah, you're pretty too."

he'd looked at you with an approving gaze, nodding with a smirk dancing at the corners of his mouth.

"i really am, aren't i?"

you'd snort out a laugh, pressing your face into his shoulder as you laughed far too much than the joke was worth.

"not as pretty as me." you'd tease once your giggles had ceased, keeping your head pressed into his shoulder and closing your eyes. just resting there.

"now that i can agree with." he didn't give you a chance to reply as he pushed your hair from your shoulder, pressing a kiss on the skin and trailing up to your neck and back down again.

you'd sigh softly, shuffling closer to him in his lap and leaning into the feeling of his teeth digging into your skin, sucking and marking you there.

unbeknownst to you, as his hands gripped your hips, his eyes were firmly on that same guy you thought was just being friendly, the one james had dragged you away from.

and when he pulls away from you, pecking the very obvious mark he'd made he brushes his lips against your ear, his breath tickling you.

"mine." he whispers, pulling away to look at your flustered state and smirking as he pats your ass.

Aahhh it's been 2 years since my last mp100 calendar project. I really didn’t think it would take this long to complete this new one, but I wanted to take my time to make sure I can really put in the love that this series deserves ;-;

one of my favourite things about haikyuu (and sports anime in general) is the feeling of being in high school and living your day to day with those who are chasing the same dream with you, together. So although this is a haikyuu fanwork calendar, I've put a lot of my feelings about adolescence into it which I hope can be felt universally.

I hope you will be reminded of that springtime SEISHUN feeling of youth throughout 2024 with this calendar !!
