for z’s birthday, law gifted her donyale luna’s first vogue cover all the way back from 1966, this has to be one of fashion’s rarest and most valuable items of all time, how he even sourced it is beyond me
Genuinely confused by publications that are attempting to compare Margot and Zendaya. Really want to emphasize that it’s the publications and not anyone else. The comparisons are very forced and inaccurate. Zendaya and Law Roach are incomparable. No one and I mean no one is doing what they are doing. It’s very much grabbing for straws and it’s also embarrassing that a legacy publication like Vogue would even green light this article. The world literally stopped when Zendaya wore the Mugler femme bot suit. We all wait with bated breath to see what satorial greatness Zendaya and Law will bless us with next. The same cannot be said for many other stars and their styling team. It’s simply the truth. I really like Margot but her team hasn’t given us a jaw dropping fashion moment yet. The Barbie press tour was fun but we weren’t in awe. I’m sure as her style evoles she will give us more memorable looks however until then I think the comparisons to Zendaya and the works of literal art she creates with Law, need to stop.
Above is an excerpt from a High Snobiety article claiming that the fashion during the Barbie press run set the tone for the incredibly stylish and intentional Dune 2 press run. Again, all wrong. Zendaya has been in a league of her own for a very long time. We don’t even have to go that far back. Below are some of her press looks for Dune: Part One. All very on theme and in the realm of the Dune universe, science fiction and fantasy.
Vogue and company, let’s put the comparisons to bed. Zendaya has no peer.
Beyoncé and JAY-Z at Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2024 show at Pont Neuf bridge in Paris, France (6/20/23). They were greeting Latin artists, J. Balvin and Maluma, and Luxury Law (Zendaya’s stylist).
