Karaganda State Medical University
Karaganda State Medical University was founded in 1950. It is one of the outstanding medical universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Out of the 60 top universities in the country, Karaganda State Medical University has been ranked in the 8th position. This university is the first medical university in Kazakhstan.
Karaganda State Medical University offers bachelor’s as well as postgraduate programs and it also provides multilevel training for professionals. The training is provided in the Russian and English languages at the university. From this university, more than 8000 students are studying MBBS and other degrees today.
The teaching faculty of the university is the best and thus it delivers quality education to students.

Last Song - Oh geez, I listen to music a lot, but the last song I listened to on spotify was the Japanese version of Lucifer by SHINee!
Last Show - Mirai Nikki/Future Diary! I don't watch shows a lot, but I had started this one years ago and never actually finished it so I rewatched the whole thing with my partner! Akise my beloved.
Currently Watching - Like I said, I don't watch shows a lot, so I'm gonna answer this as "currently playing" since I'm not watching anything right now. I'm playing Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade through the Wii U virtual console! Eliwood my beloved.
Currently Reading - I'm very slowly reading through A History of Korea by Kyung Moon Hwang. (I'm also reading some manga, but since the subject matter is rather nsfw I'm not going to namedrop it lol)

How is your academic or study journey going?
This is a summary of mine:
started studying japanology & art history (bachelors degree) in 2012
studying japanology (master) from 2016
semester abroad in Tokyo in 2017 (best time of my life!)
worked as a student assistant 2018-19
held talks, events and published articles from 2019 - today
worked as marketing assistant for an anime company 2019-2021
2021 finished my masters degree with 1,3 (1,0 is the best you can have in Germany, hihi)
2021 November started freelancing as a Japanese-German translator (exciting!!)
2022 starting my Zweitstudium in german language and scandinavian studies. Because why not?
What a wild ride of ten years of learning and writing already!

I’m moving next week by myself (but not for uni this time) which is exciting! New town, new job, new library, new regular coffee shop. I’m happy to have my own space, but also to earn a good wage where I have enough to save and have a little bit of disposable income 🤍

Just wanted to say thank you for interacting with my blog🥺
Ever since I graduated from university I’ve thought that people wouldn’t really be interested in what I post. I decided to just post some pictures from my daily life, albeit with not as much effort as when I was studying. But these posts are getting more interaction than some posts from my time at uni, where I definitely spent too much time thinking what to post.
It makes me grateful that I don’t have to carefully curate what I post and can just be natural. Though I will say, the quality of my photos will increase as my work phone has a much better camera than my personal phone… lol
I hope you’re all doing well and that you’re looking forward to the festive period regardless of if you celebrate or not. Take the chance to rest!💜

Plans for this blog now I've graduated
So everyone might be wondering after my absence from this blog and the news that I graduated, what exactly I plan to do with this blog!
Well... next month I am relocating to a new city to begin a new job! I am going to technically be an apprentice (and therefore still technically studying) but I am working at a very well-known company and so have a full time role and a decent salary.
I want to continue with this blog and sort of document my experience with post-uni job hunting and navigating new careers/apprenticeships.
However, since I am not going to be living in a city as expensive as London, I'm going to have some disposable income and want to use some of it to pay for language classes! So, my language-learning journey continues!

At the end of our French class today my professor wrote down all the tenses we have learnt up until now at our level which really helped me to visualise how much I have learnt in the last two months.
I worked so hard this semester to make improvements to my french grammar to better prepare myself for my final year of university and it really feels like I have improved immensely.
I really recommend for people learning languages to go back to previous notes and pages earlier in your textbook and see where you started and how far you have come. It is really motivating and puts into perspective how much effort you have made. All of those small efforts you make overtime will lead to great improvements, I promise.

Hey everyone! How are you all? I took a little break just to get away from social media and focus a little bit more on relaxing and studying.
I found out I passed my B2.2 exam for German, so thats exciting! I can now finally start studying for C1~
Over the next couple weeks it’s exams for me and I do have 7 more of them so I can’t guarantee any posts because my mind is not going to be thinking about that. When I can I will update you guys!
