Anyone else kind of annoyed how the Hob/Dream shipping has so totally taken over the sandman tag on here?

Because I get it. I ship it too tbh. But it seems almost an over-the-top stereotype of fandom that in a show full of queer and poc people, the fandom focusses on these two white not-confirmed-queers.

Not claiming either of them are straight but I get the desire for queer rep and... there is actual queer rep! So fucking much of it. Hob was in one episode why is he in 95% of fan content my god.

I can imagine like Sucy being super protective but still call her son(or daughter, depends what you headcanon) out, but still likes to make a few smug comments so hecan act very silly(like his mom before him)

While Akko is more calm, after his born, she is more careful thinker but still have some silly moments that make Sucy chuckle a little, and always try cheer things up, even if they kinda embarrassing sometimes.

While in my headcanon, the son is kinda of shy but friendly, kind but Mischievous sometimes, loves his moms, usually follows them at their work(Sucy is Luna Nova Teacher While Akko after her days at performing, have a shop or is another teacher) or follows to collect ingredients

And yeah that's my cooking, frankly this year is very good for the ship(got first animation finally, comic dub when lmao), and hope next year is more awesome

my absolute favourite thing about the kirk and spock dynamic is that the whole time you’re watching the show spock is gaslighting you into thinking that kirk is this loose canon and spock is paragon of logic keeping his captain on the straight and narrow when its very clearly the other way round. aside from being turned on by everyone and fighting like an old-timey boxer…. kirk is just like.. quite a logical, stable guy. like yeah he rules with his emotions but he’s rarely reckless or erratic, even in situations of immense pressure he’s always calm and measured. sure kirk is unhinged and insane, but we knew that right off the bat. spock on the other hand tries to hide how insanely balls to the walls crazy he is by standing next to jim and hiding all his derangement with logic. i think the reason bones beefs with spock so much because he is the only one who has noticed that spock is an absolutely unhinged individual. (jim is too busy doodling <3 mr jim spock <3 all over his briefings to notice)

I am simultaneously deliriously in love with the ending of Loki season 2 and absolutely loathe it

On one hand…Shakespearean tragedy at its finest, essentially circling back to Loki’s original Thor 2011 character arc by reversing it, and Loki has literally ascended to godhood. In the end, Loki’s ultimate selfless sacrifice was to sit upon the highest throne in the multiverse, and that to me is tragically ironically beautiful

On the other hand…Loki being alone makes me want to burn Marvel studios to the ground and do other unspeakable things

What I love in this scene is Loki's reaction.

I thought that Loki would be impressed by Mobius' rage, or that he would be amused. Or that he would immediately start torturing Brad as soon as Mobius got out of the cell.

But no: Loki was stunned by Mobius' reaction.

So, at first, he took steps to stop Mobius before he went too far and escorted him away safely.

Then he followed Mobius to make sure he was okay, asking him over and over without using aggressive tones, despite Mobius trying to downplay it.

Loki saw that Mobius was trying to hide how shaken he was, so he suggested to eat a slice of pie to reassure him down.

Without pressure, he calmed him down until Mobius was ready to open.

And then he reassured him gently.

This shows how much Loki has changed: instead of being overwhelmed by anger and the desire for revenge, he put the well-being of Mobius, a person dear to him, first, without hiding the concern and affection he feels for him. And Mobius, in return, demonstrated that he placed full trust in Loki, expressing his innermost emotions to him.
