Hi Salem! I love your comics but sometimes it can be confusing trying to follow the plot lines of different stories. Especially when they’re being uploaded in real time. Like when the domesticated series upload schedule may overlap with other Ghoap stories. Will you ever consider making a master list or master post of several panels in story order? hey, thank you! i totally get it, this comic is long winded and i'm uploading all my warmup drawings at the same time, like this one. you might find it easier to follow just domesticated, the main series, at the archive website linked here. i update it when i update twitter and tumblr (as long as i can remember to do all three successfully haha)

She's currently missing right now, has been for over 3 months (got off her harness Feb 7th) but it feels nice to share some pics of her.

Had her since she was 5 months old. She's a shy little thing with an immense love for belly rubs and whipped creme. She turned 2 years old on March 4th.

Have some pics of her being her weird, lovable, pretty little self over the last few years. 🖤🧡🤎🤍

The bowtie is from her first birthday, and the pup cups are when my roommate asked me to bring her in to meet her coworkers at Starbucks. The weird little ones on the pillow are when we were visiting my hometown and she just laid down like a hotdog, haha.

dislikes it - august wells and jude myers. they're both very sensitive !! august would probably be used to it, having grown up with you and all, but he wouldn't like it if you were like just flat out rude for no reason. if you're just honest and don't mean to be rude then he's fine with it, though !! jude's the same way. it just depends honestly. (august would try and help you not say everything you think, but he does kinda like how it keeps others away from you.) jude would be too scared to ever talk to you.

middle ground - percy ledger (yan nerd), laurence, salem. percy's lowkey the same way. laurence thinks it's kinda funny and it makes him want you more. salem for me is like ?? cuz he doesn't like bullies/people who are mean for no reason, so he might put a spell on you so that you can't speak until you learn to watch your mouth. it depends really.

delusional bitches - morgan hickks, darci, elijah caddel and casey hayes, sorin. morgan, darci, elijah, and casey are just like: "haha babe you're so funny !! i know you really love me and you're just playing hard to get ;))" and sorin thinks you're just nervous/this is your way of courting. doesn't care what you say, but he might gag you if you're being too mean and making him insecure.

WGAT FAN EMBLEMS DO YOU HAVE. ARE THEY MAIN VERSE OR XENOLOGUE

I HAVE A LIST. I explained in the other ask i answered uhhh just now (link here) these are technically xenologue by virtue of being AU. Veyle-Alear roleswap that I have insane thoughts about thank you Salem. Once again Berkut & Rinea are the most well baked from a gameplay standpoint but I have other ones....

Quick n dirty AU rundown: Veyle-Alear roleswap! Alear is with Sombron and an alternate set of Four Hounds (Lapis, Kagetsu, Pandreo, Zephia. Salem's blorbos), and Veyle was taken in by Lumera. I also took the liberty of making the younger royals the plot important ones.... teehee

My fan emblems trend antagonist and/or possessed for thematic reasons and because it's fun. HOWEVER I excluded most main antags from the pool because I don't think Emblem Medeus would be very interesting from a character standpoint.

I actually made a list!! So I'd have one from every game (this was also brainstormed with Salem lol). I don't have full knowledge of every FE ever and a lot of FEs I am significantly less insane about than The Usual Suspects (Binding Blade, Awakening, now Engage), so you do notice a lot of bias in what has the most detail, lmao.

Anyway. You get the list.

Archanea: Maria. (100% inspired by fell Maria in heroes, lol. LISTEN IT'D BE SO THEMATIC FOR VEYLE THO. Little girl who just wants her big siblings back. Maria would be Veyle's Marth - her first Emblem, and the one closest to her. I still gotta play the Archanea games but... the potential.)

Valentia: Berkut & Rinea (Firene Emblem. Elaborated on in the other post!!)

Jugdral (Fe4): I am not wise enough just yet.... probably Julius.

Jugdral (Fe5): I don't know <3 Ishtar? Reinhardt? Mareeta? I like the thought of Mareeta from what I know abt her actually.

Elibe (Fe6): IDUNN MY GIRL IDUNN. (She'd be Lumera's Emblem as Sigurd equivalent. Sleeping dragon guided by Sleeping Dragon... I love Idunn... I have Thoughts about her.... okay....)

Elibe (Fe7): Ninian (She's Elusia's Emblem!! I have thoughts about her & Hortensia...)

Magvel: Lyon (this was the one and only pick, really.)

Tellius (Fe9): Black Knight (Salem's suggestion, but it works! God I need to beat Radiant Dawn...)

Tellius (Fe10): My initial suggestion was Pelleas but Sothe is also tempting (god I need to beat Radiant Dawn.... 2!!!)

Ylisse: GRIMA. WHO ELSE. (i'd put him down where Corrin is, as the second Solm emblem. Haha Grima you got trapped in a desert temple again.) (Either that or I swap him with Lucina for funny points)

Fates: Takumi (conquest flavored! he is not doing too hot! He's Brodia's Emblem same reason as Berkut: it would remind him of Nohr and he hates being here. Has a soft spot for Alcryst, though. OF COURSE I gave him to Alcryst.)

Fodlan: Shez. For the funnies. (shez's super form is obviously the engaged look. I'd make them Solm's primary Emblem, because I feel like they and Fogado would be friends. But then Shez goes Revenge Mode and Fogado is like. dude. chill. you're scaring the hoes.)

And that's my full list!! The only ones who have gameplay ideas attached to them so far are Berkut & Rinea, Idunn, Takumi, and Shez, for a perfect gender ratio as I've non-biney'd Shez. Because of course I have.

i felt like doing one of these lmao

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

30! Which most of them are for Nameless lmao

2. What's your total A03 word count?

304.751, about to go up again lol, probably another 80k in this month, 268,863 have been in 2023, lol. I spent a large portion of time not writing, but after my breakup this year I've started writing frequently again.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Right now really just pokemon, if something else comes to me I'll write it, I'm working on a dragon ball z fic, but I don't touch it a ton.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

This is sad for me cause they all suck. I wrote them late high school early college, and they're all based on the Avengers movies (although one i think may have been the comics) it's a huge fandom, and I've had them up for 10 years so (god it's been that long already???) All of my good marvel 616 fics are missing, buried in a discord that I don't have access to anymore and word docs from a computer long since recycled

But in order, I feel Salem, Astronaut, Almost Honest, Wicked Games, The Whole World Was Moving But I was Standing Still (God what was with my names then lol)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to! Sometimes I miss them, but I try to respond when I see them, even a few weeks/months later. I really appreciate comments, and I feel like I've made some friends through them, or at least they comment on stuff I write, and I can reference my other fics to them lol, though they can totally make friends on here or discord, happy to talk to anyone. I've had people tell me I inspired them to write which is seriously the highest honor.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

ummmm prolly the one where Tony dies after Steve cheats on him, I think that one is 616 based, but don't quote me, or go read it, the writing is...undeveloped, I think at that point I just started writing them, my characterizations weren't great, they got better but none of that is available lol

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Ummmmm maybe Ode to my Soulmate? I can't do sad endings for the most part, my philosophy is real life sucks so I always try to make happy endings, Frank Left has a nice ending, that one gets almost no love, but I adore it.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I'm not good enough/big enough to get hate, lmao. Smaller fandom now, i think there might be some negative comments on the marvel ones but I haven't read those in yearsss.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I'm trying, Oral Fixation is my most recent published, but I'm working on one where Green gives Red a blowie in his Neo Champ uniform from masters, i've been writing that since the neochampion uniforms came out months ago ahha. I'm not great at smut, but I'm practicing, fun fact I learned how to give a bj through fanfics, and used to get compliments all the time in my younger sluttier years lol (Pre-kid haha)

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Not anymore, I used to do 101 dalmatian crossovers lol, i doubt any are published, maybe on fanfic.net but i don't even remember my username haven't touched that since like 2011, i used to do x-men crossovers where various characters would have mutant powers, but i doubt those are published either.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so? I'm probably too small to get that kind of notice. I always welcome people to steal my aus and write their own fic with it (not copy paste my stuff, but write out the au the way they come up with with their own words)

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I doubt it, but anyone can, I might end up translating one or two when I finally start learning a new language, or maybe improve my output on spanish (i can read it but not write/speak/listen well lmao)

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yeah but this was high school and I don't think we ever posted them, again might be on fanfic.net, but like I don't even remember my username

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

I don't have a favorite, maybe reguri, or 616!stony which i don't read much anymore but will always hold a place in my heart, my oldest ship is probably rougexgambit

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Blood Bank- but only because there is no ending, I'm going to continue that thing for the rest of my life, (at least quarterly updates lol although working on a new chapter now), there's also a reguri one that i wrote like 10k words on after i first started writing again, but it sucks ass, I don't love the plot to rewrite, I've written a lot more better stuff for them

16. What are your writing strengths?

I feel like I do pretty well with hints/twists. Certain characters I'm really good at writing, feel like I've gotten really good at world building, and coming up with off the wall aus. IDK i'm not good at pointing out my strengths.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Everything not listed above? Lol. No, probably missing edits and not noticing them until I'm reading the fic months later, I'm getting better at pacing and general flow, sometimes I overdo it on dialog, and leave out movement. Smut too, but i'm working on everything, the key is to just keep writing, also too many fics going at once,

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I typically don't do it unless I know the language, I'll just put it in english and say they said it in whatever lang. So like for Kalos I just say they're speaking Kalosian lol

19. First fandom you wrote for?

I used to tell stories with 101 dalmatians, but the first I ever actually wrote was from Stargate SG-1, I was like 10ish, I didn't post it, it's long since been trashed, but I was obsessed with Carter/O'neil and wanted them to adopt Cassie (i think that was her name, it's been years since I watched that show), first published is probably x-men i remember writing phoenix's force fics and posting on fanfic, might have done a ginnyxdraco for harry potter. These would be on my old fanfic.net or possibly livejournal, i don't remember,

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

I write all my fics for myself, so i really love them all, and go back and reread them often lol

Unfinished, Under the Alolan Sun and Blood Bank, those are my passion projects, I have fun writing them,

finished, either The Most Expansive Collection of Champion Red Merch in All of Kanto (probably one of my least angsty lol) or How to Beat Champion Red at Something (my silly little ficlet about Red being a picky eater, i just giggle when i reread it)

thinking about orion and salem <3

orion and salem who get off to a rocky start because orion's exterior is like rock-hard carbon, while salem's is soft like clay—easily molded by the mood of others around them.

despite this, salem probably never viewed orion as a monster, or as darkseid²—and even so, salem was never afraid of orion to begin with; he's just sensitive, and takes too many things to heart </3

i feel like orion wouldn't have known what to think about salem at first; beyond taking him as the typical kind of earthling superhero—i think he'd be a little surprised to find that salem is. . . well, definitely not that.

salem and orion connecting over feeling like they're fundamentally broken or otherwise unloveable; salem's love is unconditional and unwavering—he absolutely adores everything about orion, while orion's. . . a timid lover; he takes his time. he likes subtlety, he loves salem. if asked, he'd move the universe itself for him. i think his love language would be acts of service and quality time.

9. Do you prefer to write AUs, canon divergence, or canon-compliant fic?

Alternate Universes are the name of the game for me! I love taking incredible characters and giving them different contexts and scenarios to navigate. There's something about having canon as a trampoline to launch myself into space, creatively speaking, that I really love :)

18. What is a line/scene you’re really proud of? Give us the DVD commentary for that scene.

One of the lines I was most proud of was this one, from Ch. 3 of What Will We Sacrifice?

Raven sighed. She was tired of making her case. “Take it from me, Qrow. Sometimes having nothing to lose hurts worse than losing what you have.”

I wrote this for the second prompt of Day 1 of Ozqrow Week 2022, Rebirth.

I found it really hard to get this scene right because of the complexities of the AU and the unique situation Oz and Qrow are in here. But I thought this line really summed up why Qrow decides to stay and effectively acts as the turning point I was hoping it would be :)

19. Who is the easiest/hardest character for you to write about? Why?

Easiest has probably become Ozpin (RWBY). Even with all the AUs I've created and written for with him, it's just effortless for me to get into his frame of mind 😆

Hardest would probably be Salem (RWBY) 😂 I don't write her very often, but her manipulative and menacing nature are always super hard for me to tap into haha.

Physical Stores you can Buy Gothic Goods in, by Morticia Fattyms

Okay you Spooks,

Let me just state that you should always wear what feels comfortable *on you* and looks good *to you*. To be Goth isn't the clothes you wear, strictly speaking, and there isn't a Defined Look. Have FUN with yourself! If you think you look good and you feel good like that, that's all that matters.

Gothic Aesthetic and Fashion is colloquially referred to as "Goth" all of the time. Goth is a term used to describe some songs, and has many musical genres that find their audience under the name of "goths". Anyone with Google-Fu understands that sometimes the simplest tag is the most effective for reaching a larger audience. To keep our wonderful community of Artists and Creators thriving, growing, and easier to navigate, I'm saying Goth, Gothic, and Alternative interchangeably or where appropriate.

The loaded question,

"What makes something Goth?/Why do Goths like these things?" (Surprise, it's actually 2 questions!)

There isn't a predisposed rule about Bats, Bauhaus, and Halloween being Goth, we just happen to like them as individual people and found people that ALSO liked them. Its a surprisingly, almost singular circle, Venn Diagram. That being said, we do tend to appreciate a lot of the same design elements, and can thus comfortably find items we enjoy by engaging with the use of word "goth". We enjoy symbolism, creative use of colors, and recycling older designs to create newer ones. We definitely take inspiration from thousands of sources, like Victorian fashion, fetish gear, and Punk's DIY attitude. Your look should be personal to you, inspired by the things you love to engage with, and feels comfortable for you to enjoy wearing while dancing.

That said, not everything I list in my endeavors to support the growth of our community will be strictly gothic, because there isn't a defined look to being Goth. I hope you'll still check it out, and, if you like it, support it!

It's pretty easy to find "Gothic style" online, but do you really trust that "gothic mall online" drop shipper? Are you on a budget and shopping fast fashion apps that send clothes you end up not liking? It's okay if that's what you do, it really is. There is something to admire about the convenience and lack of social anxiety we enjoy from Online shopping. However, I want to talk about Physical Stores.

While my favorite store, Anarchists Closet, has closed, my love for that shop, it's amazing owner, and the community it brought together, is undying. Anarchist's was loudly inclusive of it's customer base, was active in the community through events, ticket sales, and fashion shows, and ensured we'd see our favorite pieces at events again and again. Their Mission was always clear: We Dress Everyone! The world needs more Anarchist's Closets, and I'm going to Find them!

Here's a few stores you can stomp your stacks into and play dress up in for an hour or two. Please, buy something from them. Hell, get a gift card for your friend you thought of in there if you can't find anything for yourself. The Community needs these stores to thrive so that more can be inspired to start up! Be inspired to start your own wildly unique and wonderful Alternative store for us to explore!

To be clear: you would be the life saver in this situation, where you buy something from a creator, offsetting the cost of the booth rental and travel costs that can really cut into budgets. Many people have conditions that make working regular jobs difficult, vending at markets are often a good source of income for them. Additionally, they're a fantastic opportunity to find a new favorite Local Band to support as well! Whoa! That's a 2 for One, Pal! Score!

Many are free, or have free parking but charge entry. I do suggest taking enough cash for your daily purchases, just in case there's bad signal in the area, a Food truck can't take digital payments, or you decide to buy a local band a drink.

I actually wrote out a whole responce but Tumblr deleted it. q_q

A lot of this has to do with the lore of Salem SMP (if I find a link to the vods I'll link them, I've been meaning to stitch together a compilation of my appearances in them.) But it's not nesseary as I'm not impactful to the lore lol.

OK so basically Tika and Splat both exist as one person(TikaSplat) (think left brain right brain.) They're kinda like a two person hive mind if that makes sence.

My sonas full name is "TikaSplat" but things can cause them to seperate, when this happens you would call the bones "Tika" and the slime "Splat"

Tika and Splat arnt really separate people. Physically they can function without their other half but it typically means they arnt in the best mental state.

For example: My sona has a limited ammount of time to do something (either Redstone, or explore) The Tika half would want to explore, the Splat half would want to do Redstone

So their disagreements are kinda just internal conflicts. Usually the Tika half wins in these internal debates.

My whole charicter is kinda ment to be a walking contradiction. Like TikaSplat is a therapist for a few people on the server but also proceeds to cause minor a mounts of psychological damage to the same people. Tika is always there to listen but Splat will slowly rearrange the furniture in your house untill it's completely flipped. but because they're kinda stuck together this ends up in an extremely chaotic person.

here are some doodles I did a whole ago when trying to get TikaSplats different perspectives on the other members of Salem as well as the other parts of itself.

In the end this is all kinds just stuff bouncing around in my head and I'm still nailing the charicter down haha.

ooooo !! i actually have quite a few but i cant say bc they would be spoilers for later on in the series ;w;; but from the chapters released currently, it would either be the papa raoul moments i wrote in the recent chapter (he’s trying his best and i love him for that) or when [name] slammed the door on xavier (xavier i love u but u haven’t had ur redemption arc yet <//3)

ooh ooh !! the confrontation scene between [name] and raoul is also an honourable mention !!! the emotions were high in that one 😔

4. Did you have any ideas that didn’t make the final cut of [When All Goes Wrong, Fake It]?

in the end of chapter 4 where raoul made his first early appearance, i actually planned to make him act colder and dismissive in line with how past [name] saw him !! it was going to be a pretty angsty end to the chapter, but then i scrapped that idea and went with the more emotional raoul ending that’s there instead. i’m glad i did bc it would’ve been awkward to try and write him the way i plan to if i went with the original ^^;;

9. If you had to assign a theme song to [When All Goes Wrong, Fake It], which would you assign?

i actually have a playlist folder on spotify that contains playlists for [name]/the fic as a whole and the love interests !! tho it’s not public yet but if i had to pick some songs (bc i’m indecisive,,,) they would probably be :

mad at disney — salem ilese

deja vu — dreamcatcher

heather — conan gray (rip og and past [name] ;w;)

10. What is the line you’re proudest of from [When All Goes Wrong, Fake It]?

uh. can i just say the whole of the prologue,,,,

hkjdf no but i think the part that brings the most emotion and sets the tone of the whole fic is actually the prologue and i’m very proud of it ^^ “No one will ever love me, especially not when I can't even love myself.” this was also a very hard hitting line i know a lot of readers talked about KJS 😭

but another set of lines i would mention are :

“A wavering warmth embraces you, pulling and tugging you further into its smouldering affection. Eyes wide and mind blank, you can only stand frozen, arms stiff at your side as Raoul gently tucks your head into the juncture of his neck as he drops his on top of yours.

A few beats and a shuddering breath.

A trickle of warmth drops onto you in a steady trail, weaving through your hair and running down the side of your face before dipping into the juncture of your neck.

It’s not raining, so why…?

“You’re safe.” Realisation soon dawns onto you what the source of trickling warmth is. “I’m so relieved… that you’re here unharmed.”

Raoul never once cried in the novel.“

dear diary-blog-thing,

this is my first post, so i guess it's where i should introduce myself??

my name is BABYDOLL! i'm 23, born in japan, raised in the us until about 3 years ago when i moved back! my mom is black, my dad is japanese, i'm a disappointment either way it goes, yadda yadda.(kidding. my parents r very sweet people! :D) right now i work as a librarian, but someday i'd like to become a teacher!! i have a cat named salem [pictured below], but besides him i live alone!

as u've probably guessed, babydoll isn't my real name, but i happen to go by it online for safety purposes!! i like to be private about soooooome stuff, so any friends or guests will be introduced with a pseudonym like bear, bunny, ducky, etc.

what i WILL share is prettty much everything else!!! from mini daily vlogs, to pictures from all the lovely super fancy places i visit (haha. i'm broke.), and stuff i buy online or pics of my room. :]

i want this 2 feel like a safe space so i don't judge u, u don't judge me. capisce?
