You ever think about how the "keep Riku safe" memory almost wakes Sora up but then Ansem SOD showing up to imply Sora's failure on doing that in KH1 is what plunges him back into sleep?

what no i’m fine. i’m just thinking about how harrowhark chose to lobotomize herself and remove all memories of gideon to preserve gideon’s soul, and how ianthe chose to kill naberius and consume his soul instead of corona’s soul. and i’m just thinking about how both harrow and ianthe did this - refused to consume gideon's and naberius' souls- out of a twisted love they held for their cavaliers. because harrow wanted to retain any chance she had of bringing gideon back, and because ianthe wanted her sister to live. and i’m thinking about how neither gideon nor corona saw this as love but instead as rejection (gideon saying “i gave you my whole self and you didn’t even want it,” corona saying “she could have taken me”) and anyway it’s just fucked up but i’m fine

the vanished gods ended a while ago!! THE campaign of all time. had some of the most incredible, cinematic, devastating moments of any game i've ever played, ttrpg or otherwise

and everybody got to be Sick As Hell in the endgame fights, so here's everybody's trump cards >:))))

Something something the way the bones/ashes of a ghost in TGCF work as a totem of love, bc they're literally the anchor of the soul on the mortal realm. Something something Palamedes trusting Camilla to take care of his remains in case he died, so he could come back, trusting her with his soul. Something something Camilla defending ferociously what little she could kept of him near her heart, lamenting she couldn't find the rest, keeping faith to the end.

This is a ghost love story. You could say the way remains and ghosts link is everywhere all over the world, but the specific way theyre a token of love in TGCF reminds me awfully of Camilla and Palamedes whole situation.

Hua Cheng says that if his ashes were destroyed (bc he knows xl enough to know it'd be only when xl is permanently dead and gone himself) (bc if xl doenst want him to remain in this world he won't...) it'd be OK. His soul, his very being on the hands of his beloved. The year of waiting by XL at the end, trusting HC will find his way home to him. Brr.

🎧 Favorite overall soundtrack?

I would love to say Frontiers, but... I am not that fond of most of the overworld music, to be quite honest. I think it's a tie between Rush and Rush Adventure, just a bit in favour of Rush. It's wild, it's groovy, I would even call it insane in some places, but it works and it makes the levels so much more fun and vibrant! And though Rush Adventure did not succeed entirely in copying that specific style, it's still quite fun and upbeat as well. And I think Forces' soundtrack is also nice, most of Classic Sonic's tracks notwithstanding.

🦹 Favorite antagonist/villain?

Infinite managed to actually replace Silver as my favourite character for a good 2.5 years or so! I think they could have done him better than what we got, but I love his design, he's got a great voice actor, and everything about him is meant to be so over the top edgy that in a way, it simply works. I am very curious if we will ever see him again!

And this might sound strange, but I actually quite like Eggman Nega as well. I find the extents to which he is willing to go out of petty spite quite interesting, especially since it relates to how deeply he hates Eggman in the Rivals games... despite being far more similar to Eggman than he perhaps wants.
