Day 1 of Roudise week!! I'm not sure if I'll be able to do the whole week since I'm traveling this week but I hope I can do all the days~

i had this drawing of teen louise sitting on my desktop tht i didnt know what to do with and then i saw this post and IMMEDIATELY sprang into action

Y’all know I’ve been done with Roudise week @roudiseshipweek stuff for like a while and am over here vibrating in a corner waiting share everything.

Day 1 - Family

I’m sure Rudy has a complicated relationship with the word family and I mean no disrespect to his parents at all. Rudy is like a part of the Belcher family too when he needs to be. They are willing to welcome him into everything they do and care about him a lot.

Roudise (aged up obviously) headcanons because I’m in a chokehold for them at the moment

When they’re teens/adults Rudy is comically taller than her and it infuriates Louise to no end.

She lovingly makes fun of his height on a daily basis.

Louise isn’t typically affectionate, but sometimes she is in her own somewhat aggressive way.

If Rudy initiates a hug or cuddle, she’s not going to reject it, but she’ll threaten to fling him into the ocean if he tells anyone.

She looks out for him in that same mildly intimidating way, like threatening to hot glue his inhaler to his hand if he ever forgets it.

And Rudy’s 100 percent okay with all the threats because he knows threats are basically her love language.

Rudy also knows he’s one of the only people she lets see her softer side.

And he’s entirely smitten with her.

DAY 6: ALTERNATE UNIVERSE

DEMON SLAYER AU

@roudiseshipweek made a huge mistake in making AUs a prompt. They are about to get absolutely lore-dumped:

Rudy: Rudy has survived two separate demon attacks, both of which resulting in the deaths of his father and mother respectively. With the universe literally giving him no other option, he joins the demon slayer corps and reluctantly vows vengeance on all demons. However, his propensity to get sick at the drop of a hat caused many mentors to turn him away, believing it was impossible for him to gain proficiency in any breathing style. Having all the time in the world and absolutely nothing to lose, Rudy trains by himself and creates Storm Breathing, a combination of techniques from Water, Thunder, and Wind Breathing respectively. The creation of this breathing style is a bittersweet moment for Rudy; on one hand, the technical wizardry that was required to create such a breathing style earned him recognition from the likes of the Hashira. On the hand, Rudy is burdened with the knowledge that, due to his poor health, he will never be able to unlock the full potential of Storm Breathing, and even attempting to do so would likely kill him.

Louise: At age five, Louise and her village were attacked by demons. The village was destroyed, and Louise was left separated from her family, with both parties thinking the other to be dead. She would be taken in by the corps, training under Nat and her now ex-girlfriend. She was originally taught beast breathing, but similar to Rudy, decided to make her own breathing style: Rabbit Breathing. Louise is eager to enact revenge on demons, with said eagerness resulting in multiple avoidable injuries. She has two weapons: a bow equipped with wisteria-tipped arrows, and a comically large Nichirin hunting knife. That, combined with her affinity for wearing rabbit pelts, makes her quite the enigmatic character.

Her and Rudy are commonly paired together due to their ability to balance each other out.

I really like these designs, so expect to see them again.

“Roo, Rudy, Ruderoni.” Louise held out a hand to him, her brows pinching together in concern. “Breathe. I can’t carry your tall butt back inside if you pass out.” He looked up at her and for a moment she thought he was going to try to say something back, maybe make a bad joke or snarky comment, but she absolutely never could have predicted what came out of his mouth next. “Will you marry me?” Louise blinked at him. Once. Twice. Three times. Then - "WHAT?!" . . . or: Best friends Louise and Rudy get married for tax purposes. No, really, that's totally it, honest. No way are any actual feelings gonna form.
