no bc they rlly got me with that “do you remember what he did to you? I was there” bc up to this point no one has been genuine about the abuse. They’ve used it in power plays, in weird psychosexual soliloquies, everytime someone else’s experience of abuse has been brought up it’s been transactional. Say sorry because you neglected Connor, feel an emotion because you hit Roman. But stewy… man! It was just this one last Hail Mary to get Kendal OUT. And the only way kendal knew how to respond to probably the only non-transactional ‘normal people’ exposition of abuse was trying to get his own transaction to go through while offering nothing in return because stewy showed his hand and Kendall knew he wanted Nothing but Him.

after Eddie graduates he still wants to play dnd so Steve let’s them play in his house and the kids are so excited because maybe this way they can get Steve to play?
he doesn’t, but he watches and that’s something right? Except it isn’t because he keeps humming and snorting and he fucking giggles at one point when they’re deciding how to fight the big bad
they slowly realize that it’s because Eddie tells Steve his plans for the campaign, so Steve is sitting there laughing because he knows what will happen and oh my god this is so much worse than Eddie ever was on his own because now he’ll give Steve these looks and Steve will smile or raise an eyebrow or something and there’s no pattern to what happens after so they can’t even brace themselves, and yeah they should have kept them apart this is a nightmare

I keep on seeing these edits of Steve Harrington with that song, idk it's name but is like 'I just meet my dad in 1985' or smth like that and now I lowkey want a fic where this dude's kid somehow time travels and actually meets his dad in 1985. At this point I don't even care about the ship, I just want some random kid to show up one day, look at Steve and be like 'Fuck. Dad???'
Just imagine the comedy. But also the drama if it's either Nancy's kid or if Eddie's their other father- cuz I think by 1985 Nancy and Steve broke up already??? And she's dating Jonathan??? Gold. And they didn't even got to interact with Eddie yet so everyone is gonna be like 'Eddie??? The Munson kid???'

neo twewy is interesting because the climax of the story comes before the end of the gameplay + final boss. in og twewy the climax of the story wasn’t until after the final boss. neither game’s ultimate conflict is about having the physical strength or even courage to defeat a particular enemy. both of them are about the protagonists’ development and crucial character-defining decisions. the final bosses aren’t the story climaxes here- in the first game it was still part of the rising action, and in the second game it was actually already part of the falling action. that’s wild to me

Me writing Nie Mingjue: He’s the narrator but also super out of it on account of multiple qi deviations, trauma flashbacks, and then getting poisoned, the absolute chaos of this narrative structure has nothing to do with the fact that I, the author, have (currently unmedicated) adhd and a chronic inability to think in a straight line to save my life, or write in one, here’s another fucking run on sentence with tons of commas, I hope you enjoy, I’m scared you won’t, oh here look he’s passing out again because I can’t come up with a better way to scene shift, it adds drama and intrigue alright, hey look he’s hallucinating, will ya look at that here’s another flashback to add context, or is it an actual narrative time jump, what’s a setting, wow this is literally all dialogue maybe I should describe the room they’re in, shhhh it’s ok he’s panicking and simply doesn’t know where he is or who’s talking to him yeah let’s go with that -
