let's be real, being guillermo's friend/partner irl would suck ass. he's a manipulative serial killing embezzler who is having an emotional affair, plus he's constantly busy with his kid/creature that crawled out of the chest cavity of his dead friend + his undead three stooges.
HOWEVER
being his cousin would slap so fuckin hard man. every few weeks: "cousin memo's here and he's brought the five most attractive people you've ever met, an autistic child, and 50 grand cash." he barely comes to any family events but when he does you get to share gay judgemental looks w/ him. he keeps making you garlic bread and he bought you nunchucks. his trunk has a corpse in it.
If I was Guillermo I would have broken my knees slamming to the ground to suck short haired gym clothe wearing Nandor off.
And if I was Nandor I would have broken my fucking back bending over for bearded Guillermo and he could stake me in the heart if it meant I could stroke his beard
ok but imagine nandor kinda insulting guillermo like he usually does, meaning it as a joke and laughing at it bc he finds himself funny and guillermo doesn't get angry, he doesn't look at the camera long–sufferingly, he doesn't look at the camera at all. instead he just looks at nandor sadly, simply staring at him with his lips tipped down then just walks past him calmly. and he doesn't ignore nandor after or anything, but his disappointment is obvious and nandor frantically realizes that. oh. he's losing him.
I didn’t realize until the third time I watched the ep that she says this when she meets baby Colin (or, well, the racoon), and it was just so too cute for me to handle.
Laszlo decides to care for a child and Nadja just immediately accepts that she has a son now. She probably thought, “If my love’s become a dad, that means I’m a mommy of course <3″.
And the shapes that you drew may change beneath a different light, and everything you thought you knew will fall apart, but you’ll be all right | Nandor the Relentless + Constellations by The Oh Hellos
the thesis of this video can be boiled down to this: Nandor is, fundamentally, a man who is struggling to cope with the realisation that while he has stayed the same for years, the world around him has been changing without his say so. he clings to what he's always known - for example his image as a relentless warrior - and the boxes he's put people in, without realising that these things don't quite fit him anymore. and when he does start to make an active effort to make a change, despite having every good intention, things rarely work out for him because, often, what he's seeking out in new places, he actually already has. all he needs to do is look around himself and see things in a new light to realise it.
(this vid only uses footage from the first 3 seasons btw, you don’t need to be caught up with the latest eps to watch it)
