“This is what the result of hard work looks like. Coming into this season it was clear to both of these gentlemen that their fight was one for the ages. They both worked for months with Wolfgang Stegemann to make it happen. I don’t think @maheshjadu went anywhere without his 12kg staff. This particular bts moment of the two of them was after cut on the final day of photography. Henry had just called the crew in to praise his narrative enemy for being one of the best fighting partners he’d ever had. Cheers to hard work and to a great finale’ for these characters.”

New cast members for Season 2 of House of the Dragon.

Graeme McKnight as Paxter Strong There is no character named Paxter Strong in George R.R. Martin’s Fire and Blood, so he’s rather a show invention. Or perhaps more likely one of Simon Strong‘s (Simon Russell Beale) grandsons, who were never given names in the books. Thus, half an invention, half based on the books. If that’s the case, Paxter would be a cousin to Alys Rivers (Gayle Rankin) and the late Harwin Strong (Ryan Corr) as well as Larys Strong (Matthew Needham).

Perhaps Paxter Strong might decide to look more closely into the deaths of Harwin and Lyonel Strong.

There are a handful whose roles in Season 2 are not yet known.

Roderick Hill (The Witcher) and Samson Kayo (Our Flag Means Death). Both have been filming in the same scenes as James Doherty’s Cley. Doherty will appear in episodes directed by Geeta Patel and Loni Peristere, so the other two will be seen in those episodes as well.

No guesses.

Also...

Next we have three more, whose roles we also don’t know. They are Jack Staddon (Harlots), Tom Cawte (London Fields) and Erica Ford (The Nevers). Naturally, there’s no lack of speculation as to who they play, but nothing can be said for certain as of now.

The two of them will share details of their work - Loni has been part of productions such as "American Horrror Story" and "Castle Rock" while Kent has been in charge of the visual effects of "Sonic The Hedgehog" and "Altered Carbon".
