Can someone please create an international platform for aro/ace people to meet up? I would really like some platonic cuddles and relationships without any *ehem* expectations.

Alone
The thing is, Lizzie prefers solitude.
It’s not that she doesn’t care about others. She's genuinely upset when no one comes to her party, and even a failed task doesn't seem that important. It's not that she doesn’t love her husband. His quiet unconditional support, his sharp sense of humor, his crooked smiles hold a place in her heart that is too special for words. She just knows, in this merciless world alliances are ephemeral. In the end, it’s every woman for herself.
Lizzie prefers solitude.
She dies alone, falling, falling, falling into the void. But aren’t we all do?

I, like the arch-fiend, bore a hell within me; and, finding myself unsympathised with, wished to tear up the trees, spread havoc and destruction around me, and then to have sat down and enjoyed the ruin.
--- Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley.

“Why do people have to be this lonely? What's the point of it all? Millions of people in this world, all of them yearning, looking to others to satisfy them, yet isolating themselves. Why? Was the earth put here just to nourish human loneliness?”
― Haruki Murakami

I want to be someone that is admired, who when faced with hardship and over come it with their strength alone.
I am not that person, I am a person who cannot stomach eating as well as other people can, who is resentful of the people they love, who is crying in the middle of night when writing some dumb thing no one will care to read.
(It is okay, people tell me. You will get better. I too easily lose track of my emotions and reactions. Too easily lose the person I want to be and trickle back into the person I really am. I want to be alone, because it already feels like I am.)

This loneliness you live is only temporary. This breakup that you experienced will allow you to meet someone made for you. Be strong. Be patient. Love is on the way. Your happiness is on the way.

The lonely moments just get lonelier
The longer you're in love than if you were alone
Memories turn into daydreams, become a taboo..
