the amount of times he forgets his name is leo and loke is embarrassing

he had to train himself out of responding to leo when he left blue pegasus (was already conditioned to only respond to karen calling out to him, if any human did). there were too many people talking about karen or leo the constellation or leo the spirit for the first few months after her death and he tried to make it not affect him by just. discarding it and taking up loke

which worked until he became leo the spirit again. it was fine sometimes, because the humans he was around most often still called him loke for the most part, but being back in the celestial world? nightmare. 'leo, can you get me the wine?' 'leo, let me cut that mane of yours' 'leo, we have a meeting in thirty' 'leo, lucys far moooo-re receptive to my flirts than yours'

it got to the point where, around the oración seis arc, loke had two masks, similar to that celestial eclipse arc in the anime. there was loke the human and leo the spirit. loke would flirt unabashedly with anything that moved, leo would focus on the mission first and relationships second. loke would grab almost anything someone handed him, leo would be far more reserved and skeptical. loke would eat almost as much as natsu for the hell of it, leo would never touch human food.

when aries showed up on tenrou, he had such an identity crisis it heavily impacted his fighting ability. he was summoned as leo, so he was trying his damnedest to not let distractions cloud his judgement, to not let relationships hinder him, to not let memories drag him down. but aries was right there and his own memories were pulling the loke mask up while still drowning him in hurt and pain and he dealt with that with the loke mask but he was summoned as leo

the more he's been able to heal from karen, the more he's able to be both leo and loke at the same time. sometimes he jokingly ignores the other spirits when they call for leo. sometimes he genuinely forgets when the humans call for loke. sometimes he gets such whiplash when a spirit calls him loke or a human calls him leo that he just short-circuits for a solid ten seconds.

it gets to the point some of the more reactive ones (aquarius, lucy, freed, sting, etc.) start calling him 'lion'. and he still forgets that he's the lion spirit, come on dude—

Rambling about Fairies - Manga Chapter 202

I am so happy that Loke gets character development by having a whole role in Tenrou arc as a candidate. I love that Mashima gave him a whole arc to play a role in, even a proper opponent set up and everything. This is my Loke bias talking.

Also, Gray always wears winter coats, but this time specifically he's wearing one with a furred hood just like Loke used to wear and my Grayloke heart is not okay

♡ gajeel is the flash of light on a blade. swinging through the air, the zing of metal on metal. you almost buckle under the weight of his strike, but you've never felt more alive, a dragon's roar in your chest.

♡ loke is the glint of gold on passersby. a luxurious watch here, a sparkly earring there. here one moment and gone the next, shining so fast you would've missed it. you hear his voice in your ear, his breath hot on your neck. you look beautiful today.

♡ minerva is the glow of an aquarium display. blue, green, even purple bounce off the walls as fish swim overhead. admiration and wonder, a never before seen occurrence leaving her in awe.

♡ mavis is the flicker of a candle, illuminating her ghostly face. sometimes she's in the office, dainty fingers trailing over dusty books, helping you read the titles. othertimes, she's in the infirmary, watching over an injured guild member and keeping the shadows at bay. out of the corner of your eye, you watch her image flicker out, and you wonder if she was ever there at all.

FT x TWST Housewardens

Ever since I realized (halfway through my other batch of drawings) that Housewardens specifically get to design their own uniforms, I've been wanting to a new batch with them because I get to partially customize the uniforms based on what I think the character would do and I think that's neat.

Hel was the third child of Loki and the giantess Angrboða and the sister of Fenrir, Jörmungandr, and Sleipnir. It most versions, her looks are the emphasis - half of her skin appeared to be pink and plump like a newborn's, while the other half looked decayed and sickly - nearly green or blackish in appearance. Her face was said to have been in a constant state of gloom. When the other gods heard of her and her siblings' existence, they were alarmed due to the parentage - two troubling/"evil" beings had come together to produce three monstrous children... The gods decided to kidnap the children to better assess them in Asgard. Odin was just as sure as he was about the serpent, Jörmungandr, that Hel had to elsewhere. He hurled her into Niflheim - the world beneath the worlds, where the shadows and mist would become her only true companions. As so she made her hall, Eljudnir, which would become the home of the dead when Odin would task her with looking after them, the dead of all the nine worlds who had died of illness or old age, and cursed her to always have to share her food with whoever came her way. Bitterly, her plate was named Hunger, her knife was Famine, her bed was Sick-Bed, and its hangings Glimmering Misfortune. Only when Ragnarok occurred, did Hel see the light of day again. IN MY OPINION Hel/Hela in your chart can represent a) where a part of you decays, b) where your looks make you seem unapproachable/threatening, c) where/how your parents reputation effects how you get treated by others, d) where you are surrounded by darkness, e) what you have to share but lack yourself, and/or f) where you seek opportunities to get even with those who have done you wrong.

i encourage you to look into the aspects of hel/hela along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of hel/hela AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede hel/hela!
