A quick sketch because I don't have my good pens.

This is Darcy (and hee face Cici) who is part of the relief team. She's generally quiet but extremely stubborn, often the head in the clouds when there is nothing to do but wait. She's very tactile and outright clingy to her friends so she often cross boundaries or make them uncomfortable because of that. She has one of the best singing voice of the children's building but she doesn't like being accompanied by the piano. She's very picky with her meals and she has to cut very small to finish her plate, she usually takes a good hour to eat.

Cici can be kinda loud and boisterous the same way someone that doesn't know how loud one has to talk properly, can be. She likes to make jokes and bring smiles on people's faces. She also has the bad habit to listen & spread rumors, oftentimes twisting them accidentally in her haste to relay them. She often feel like she can't do her Shadow's expressions justice and consequently has a problem with self-confidence. She also doesn't necessarily like helping people, especially not after a sooterie problem but she must follow her Shadow's example.

Little bit about Ritzas personality + some facts about her

-They're really chill, like a lot of people think they're high 24/7 because of how relaxed they are even in situations where others would be stressing

-She's quiet, not because she doesn't like talking or has nothing to say, but because she prefers to listen and only likes to talk if she's not gonna be interrupted multiple times

-loves animals, particularly cats, but anything fluffy is fair game for getting pet

-just like her mother she's almost ridiculously smart, she doesn't tend to show it off, nor talk down to others who are "less smart" than her.

-She doesn't tend to get irritated too often, preferring to let things roll off her back. But insult/disrespect any of their family members, especially their mother, and you're likely to leave the mortal plane in more pieces than you arrived in.

-She tends to treat everyone the same regardless of status, they'll give everyone basic respect, but if you want her to treat you with more than that, you'll have to earn it. It's easy to lose her respect as well.

-They do like to pull small, harmless pranks from time to time, like scaring/startling people by changing her eyes to buttons or quietly walking up behind others

-Because she has one of her mother's hearts in her, she can use some of Erinas powers, such as flight, weak ki attacks&regen, Super human strength and hearing, strong bite force, various magics and some light shape-shifting abilities

-She does have Pica like Erina, as previously stated, and their favorite non-edible items to chew on/eat are Pencils, plastic buttons, pop tabs, coins, pebbles and ribbons

-Theyre pretty protective of their loved ones

-Their skin is made from Polyethylene cloth, stitched together with thick spider silk thread, plastic buttons for eyes, and Saran hair as well, hair, their doll body was stuffed with cotton to give it its shape.

Another customized Sylvanian Families house, this one for my washed up dark wizard bunny Hyden!

This one was a much bigger project than the rose-themed Rococo house I made for Ambroys. I’ve been chipping away at this thing for around two months. Phew!

If you’re curious as to what the building looked like prior to customization, as well as some notes about the project, see the pictures and extra info under the cut:

Most of the furniture was repainted or sourced from weird locations (check out the hand-painted books and tiny pile of skulls on the bookshelf), the thorny vines on the exterior had to be made by hand, and, as it turns out, the Creamy Gelato Shop I used as a base... had no door. I had to source another building’s door in a similar size from a spare parts seller and do some creative modifications on it to make it fit. Also, @kwillow had the great idea to turn the inside into a flat wall with a giant portrait of himself (from his younger, handsomer years) hanging on it. Had a lot of fun with that bit!

some lore surrounding these two that is too long overdue but 🤷‍♂️

not as detailed and rambly as i’d like it to be, but i’m really burned out and i’m trying to get back to it🧍‍♂️

nevermind it’s pretty rambly lol

all the way back in 2038 Vincent and Ray, after dating for around two years, agreed to leave California together on august 21st — Ragan’s birthday; it was supposed to be his birthday gift of sorts, a start of a new chapter, new life;

buuut Vince, being a little shit teenager, got cold feet (in Ray’s eyes, Vince always justified that as being rational) and ditched him last minute, not showing up in their agreed spot, making Ragan leave on his own after hours of waiting.

this caused Ray to despite his own birthdate, it always reminding him of the heartbreak and betrayal. 🧍‍♂️

Vincent has felt guilty ever since, but firmly believed it was the right choice. he was never fit to live a nomadic lifestyle at such a young age.

four decades later their paths cross again and a long healing journey ensues.

so now this date is pretty bittersweet to both of them 🧍‍♂️ but it gets better overtime

basically right person, wrong time

although i think if they did ran away together then, it wouldn’t have ended good at all 🤷‍♂️ with Vince still being pretty immature emotionally, still struggling with some inner personal things (family stuff, internalized homophobia, etc.) and not familiar with the nomadic culture and ways of living. they’d probably get in bad fights more and more as the time would go on, and eventually split. Vince would’ve decided to go back to Night City probably (if he ever would make it back) and they’d never end up back together has they met in the future.

their separation allowed them to grow and mature on their own, in their own familiar environments, experience different things, and after they met again, after all those years, they put their feelings and mutual attraction to the test

and it turned out they still want each other even with all the imperfections 🧍‍♂️(i’m not crying you are) they could lie all they want but their brain chemistry couldn’t. Vincent never loved someone they way he loved Ragan, and Ray never quite felt the same way with anyone else like he felt with Vince. there was always something missing, something not quite right. and while they could tell each other they’re looking for something too far out of their reach, that they’re looking for a too perfect partner, in reality they always just wanted each other 🧍‍♂️

they still have a lot to work on together in their relationship, but now that they’re too old for teenage fights and too tired for heartbreaks, they make compromises and their fights make their bond and their understanding of one another stronger 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️

like we acknowledge that Vince did a shitty thing by ghosting Ray, going no contact and being a puss, too scared to man up, and tell him face to face ‘hey i can’t go, this type of thing ain’t for me’. he didn’t want to acknowledge that, saying that out loud, or even in his mind, would make that real and that scared him. he was definitely a teen who’d rather avoid doing something he wasn’t comfortable with to not experience the uncomfortable feelings altogether. the avoidant type we all know and love 🧍‍♂️

and yet Ray still chose to love him 🧍‍♂️ he’s definitely like ‘this man’s trash but he’s *my* trash’. Vince gets better eventually after Ray finally gets through his thick ass skull.

but also i’m not gonna sit here and say Ragan fixed Vince coz that wasn’t the case 🤷‍♂️ this is not a ‘i’m gonna fix him’ type of situation. Ragan wasn’t and isn’t perfect either, his perspective was kinda askew as well; can’t quite describe it as i haven’t psychoanalyzed him as much as Vincent but they’re both flawed, make mistakes left and right and learn from that (sooner or later) like human beings 🧍‍♂️

but in the end they’re just old men in love
