Steph Gingrich x Fem! Reader
Summary: Everyone has bad days, even the rambunctious, exciting, vibrant Steph Gingrich. Thankfully, she has you to brighten any gloomy day.
(Reader is implied Fem! But no pronouns are used)
It was rare for Steph to break down. Typically, she was cool and collected. She always knew what to do, and could fix any problem thrown her way with her creative mind. However, some days, things were just too much. Today was one of those days. Problem after problem after problem had been thrown Steph's way.
Valkyrie had gotten into the booth and chewed through a cable, thankfully not getting shocked but damaging the microphone. Steph thanked God she remembered to unplug it before leaving. With no microphone, she had no way to broadcast.
So, Steph had to get another. She couldn't find a single spare microphone anywhere in the store, so she went out to buy one, leaving Ryan in charge. She couldn't find one anywhere, and when she came back, Ryan had shocked himself trying to fix the old one. It had tripped the breaker, and shut down the whole station. Just as Steph had gotten it working again, her boss had called her, pissed.
By the time Steph had made it back to your place, there were mud stains on her clothes, her beanie was falling off her head, her shoes had given her blisters, and she was teetering on the edge of a complete meltdown. She opened the door, tripping on the small ledge and stumbling in.
You'd heard the front door open, and her quiet, exhausted 'I'm home', peeking out from the bedroom. Immediately, your face fell when you saw the look on her face. "Steph?" You called softly, walking towards her. Tears welled in her eyes, her lips pulled into a pitiful frown. She rested her forehead on your shoulder as you wrapped your arms around her. "What's the matter?" You asked. She cried quietly into your shoulder as you rubbed her back. You were slightly surprised, but even Steph could have bad days.
"Wanna talk about it?" You asked instead. Steph shook her head, holding you tighter. You held her there for a while, silently comforting her as she cried out all of her frustrations. After she'd calmed down, you pulled away, cupping her face in your hands. You wiped away her tears gently with the pads of your thumbs. "Do you wanna take a bath?" You offered, smiling a bit when Steph nodded. Her eyes were puffy, tear-stained cheeks smushed between your palms.
Steph got undressed as you filled the bathtub, adding a ton of bubbles. You helped her into the tub, kissing her forehead before taking her clothes to the laundry. When you came back, Steph was laying back, her arms resting on the sides of the tub, eyes closed, finally feeling relaxed. She turned to face you with a small smile. "Hey." She whispered.
"Hey." You smiled, sitting on the edge of the tub. You ran your fingers through Steph's hair, massaging her scalp gently. "Tough day?"
"Yeah." Steph sighed. "It was a fucking nightmare." She closed her eyes once more, tilting her head back. She breathed slowly, chest rising and falling steadily in the water. The bubbles had started to dissolve, exposing her bare chest. This version of Steph was unfamiliar to everyone but you. Soft, vulnerable, quiet. Her rambunctious energy was temporarily pacified, a comforting silence between you two. The soft scent of pine filled the bathroom, a scent that reminded you of Steph. Of home.
After her bath, Steph stood still while you dried her off, listening to the water drain. She pulled a shirt on as you knelt in front of her in the bedroom, bandaging her ankles where her shoes had rubbed blisters into them. Once she was dressed, you pulled her into bed beside you, covering the two of you up as she laid her head on your chest. She listened quietly as your steady breathing lulled her into a peaceful sleep, whispering a soft 'I love you' before closing her tired eyes.

Heeeey!! Okay listen! Could you do x reader headcanons for Steph and Alex with a fem!so with a LOT (8 in particular, 4 in both ears, and i also have double helixes like Alex +lobes, 5 more are coming in the next few months) of ear piercings? Like would they like them, make comments on them, how would they react to the healing process (my rook was bleeding randomly🙃) etc. But also my piercings are the only things representing my gayness and i am OBSESSED🥹. Love these girls! Hope its not too much, mwuah😚 ( Aaaand sorry, oversharing is my literal hobby and i am not ashamed😈)

• Steph would be like "Wow." and just stare with her owned smile.
• or, if you have more than a few piercings she would be like "Wow, looks like you didn't yourself hold back!" and then she would let out a smile or laugh.
• I think Steph would find it really cool
• Although, the healing process might scare her a bit
• "Uh... Are you okay? Your ear is bleeding..."
"Oh, yeah! That's normal!" :)

• i don't think she'll get another piercing, but if you really want her to have an another one with you

In the final words:
• I think they would love you with piercings. I mean, they accept and love you in any way, so-
I don't think they would stop or disagree with you. Especially Steph. She thinks you're hot with it.
• You just showed up in front of Alex's door, hoping that she could see your new accesories. Although, you couldn't shrug off the feeling of excitement and nervousness, but you still wanted to see and ask her opinion about it. As Alex opened the door, you could see that Steph is there too. Great!
You walked in and of course Steph couldn't ignore the fact that you changed a bit.
"Holy shit, (Y/N)!" she grabbed your face to get a better look. After a second, her grip got softer of the thought that she could may hurt you. You chuckled nervously.
"Alex! Did you see that she has new piercings?" she looked back from Alex to you again with a smirk.
After Alex closed the door, she came up to you as well. Her lips curled into a smile as she saw you.
"It looks good on you, (Y/N)!"
"I know, right? She looks so hot with them!"
"Thanks, but my face starts to hurt a bit, Steph." you giggled.
"Oh, sorry!" she let, but both of them still kept their eyes on you. "But seriously, you look badass!"
Alex agreed with a silent nod and a sparkling smile.

Headcannon that Steph had a crush on him for a while, they state in Highschool is killing me that they have had classes together for a long time. I like to think that she's seen him be super smart and despite never really talking to him she started to have one of those crushes of just thinking about what they might be like. And so when she realizes she needs to pass this test more than any previous one she jumps at the opportunity to talk to him!!! She is so surprised when he says something funny cause she was all like "oh he's smart and funny? Hot." And then asks to study and just Ahhhhh
