High-echelon Mawkin suit modules can be pretty wild, and the Energy conversion module in Raven Beak's suit is no exception.
When exposed to an active current or energy field, the module accounts for the level of charged particles in the local atmosphere and converts the detected matter to power. Most substantial forms of power and radiation are compatible with its function, and it's calibrated to work more efficiently when exposed to substantially powerful forms of plasmic matter.
The conversion module is similar to (but should not be confused with) the thermal charge module, which charges the power suit in extreme heat. That technology is also implemented in the protective exosuits found in Cataris' lava zone. The Mawkin use thermal energy to power a number of their facilities: that they'd implement it in their more mobile works is only natural.
Back to the subject at hand, the conversion module's practicality is twofold: to keep Raven Beak's suit sufficiently charged and to maintain his vigor in battle. His particular biometric modifications are such that his suit, combined with his level of physical fitness, can theoretically keep him fighting without fear of exhaustion in perpetuity.
Raven Beak's juiced up version of lightning armor is the inverse of this module: it absorbs charged particles for the purpose of coalescing into a projected wave. The use of lightning armor in this manner negates the function of the conversion module for restorative purposes. Additionally, lightning armor works best against oncoming projectiles, while the reactive conversion module is at its peak when the suit is exposed to ambient radiation or concentrated, consistent flows of power.
Suffice to say, Raven Beak is probably the only person who could stick a fork in an electrical socket and have it do the exact opposite of killing him.

gonna take a minute to rant about just how much i love louis and his care for fans and how he's always trying to do things in the most affordable, convenient way possible. getting his tickets was one of the most smooth, seamless experiences i ever had. love how his first tour was a bit smaller and now that he's doing larger arenas, the pricing hasn't changed a bit. he's taken so much care and consideration into curating his brand and making it accessible and you can see the genuine thought process that goes into it because louis isn't just putting music and tours out and calling it a day. he's examining every little aspect of it and making sure that at the end of the day everything is as fair as possible. i know we can say it's the bare minimum, but to me at least it isn't. because it takes a lot of planning and organising to be able to pull this off, but it also takes a lot of investment time and money wise. and i honestly commend him for being one of the only artists in the industry who's not only to bring change but also who's putting a damn good fight and being a very good example of what an artist could be and how relaxing and beneficial an artist - fan relationship can be

Cursed drawing, but fast enough to get my point across, I think. If there's one or two you'd like art of... just saying, I could use some practice hehe.
Please do tell me about them if you ever feel like it, you have a heck of a lot of piglin OCs and I love that!!! I mean I'm kinda biased (I mean... piglin blog...) but still!
I try my best to add tags to art when I can because I know it's fun getting them in return. I'm glad it has the intended effect!! I stand by those tags through and through!!! I hope you have a good rest of your day :D

I was just thinking about Iris seeing, like REALLY seeing Eris’s scars for the first time. The physical ones at least. I hc that the worst of the scars are usually on his back, which was touched on in SMTB, and the minor ones are on the frontal area. Also I feel like that would sometimes be a point of insecurity for Eris, and Iris kissing this scars and holding him and all that married couple stuff. UGH, I love them so much it isn’t even funny anymore.
Iris kisses his scars all the time. All. the. time. Eris likes kisses like any other lover but while he enjoys waking her up by kissing specific areas he favors (😏), Iris makes it a point to always kiss the scars on his back. It is a point of insecurity for him. In that initial chapter when he takes his shirt off the first time and she sees them, it was a big step for him. But at that point, Eris is very much "well, she's stuck with me, what is she going to do?" But when she accidentally brushes up against him? He'll always feel the burn of those scars. Those gifts that his father gave him. Iris knows this and sees. The healer in her rages that the scars weren't given time to properly heal so they wouldn't leave a mark. And our boy has many marks on him.
So she makes it a point to always leave light kisses. Whenever they're laying together, she'll always slide her hand down his back gently, with featherlight touches because he still tenses sometimes whenever anyone nears his back. The first time she kisses his back, he nearly collapses but she's his wife. His person. She's the only one who can touch his scars and it wouldn't hurt.
I have this very specific scene I wrote out regarding this but I need to work up to it with the sequence of events haha.
