#okay i know i should like. get to know my roommate more cuz i was gonna ask her if i can interview her in a few weeks#for a chinese project cuz my prof wants us to interview a native chinese speaker and she is one#and i dont wanna have that be our only interaction but i dont know how to approach her 😭😭#1 im super shy and i hate awkward scenarios and stuff and 2 we literally dont see each other 90% of the dat#and we both keep to ourselves a lot so mdhdjdk#also fuck this project man its like. od work#15-20 minute interview that she wants you to record plus a typed transcript + a handwritten summary#+ a presentation to the class and you cant look at your summary for it... all on the content of the chapter youre assigned#like ma'am i am not that good at chinese i cannot hold a 20 minute convo#much less do a transcript#might end up doing a script with my roommate and then just having us read it cuz dictation is... not my forte#also im lucky my roommate is chinese otherwise id be shit outta luck for even knowing a native chinese speaker#and i would be so 😬 about asking some random person#anyway this class said suffer#also the chapter im supposed to do does not make sense for an interview#its about someone learning about china and chinese culture#how am i gonna interview someone from china about that?? like thats something id interview another person in my class about maybe
