I've seen like maybe 20 mins of Centurion (2010) and it's so obviously just a cheap, less eloquent, less beautiful, more cheesy gorey version of The Eagle which is wild considering The Egale came out a year later........

#this is what happens when my brother is in charge of the remote lmao #idk man like it's just...... like a super super MALE CENTRIC view is the only way I'd describe it #Gladiator will always be the Top Tier Undefeated roman Centurion film obv #but even it has an epic story and sweeping visuals and characters you connect with and it's just great #and the Eagle (let's be real) it's not a masterpiece but it also IS good #esp when considering it gives the flip side of the story a bit whch often isn't considered in the 'gladiator' genre #idk The Eagle is the better film....#like tbh I think Troy (2004) wasn't like AWFUL idk this isn't either but it's just. not as good as the eagle.......#erin explains it all #like bro I cannot stress how overly cheesy violent it is like.
