“i love your lipgloss.” you glance up from the book you were reading, cheeks warming at the compliment as you meet dina’s expectant gaze. it wasn’t as if you were unused to her praise, though she still managed to fluster you all the same. you weren’t… dating, per se. but you giys were definitely more than friends. either way, you were dina’s, and she made sure everyone knew it. you briefly wondered what she was doing in the school libary, letting the thought flutter away when you trail your eyes down her bare legs, revealed by the short skirt she was wearing. she recaptures your attention by softly clearing her throat, lips barely lifting in amusement when you snap your eyes back to hers. she raises a eyebrow, waiting. “a-ah. thanks d.” you say with a embarrassed smile. “it’s new, im glad you like it.” dina hums and comes closer, standing over where you’re seated, reaching out to curl a strand of your hair around a pink manicured finger. “can i try some on?” she asks with lowered lids, looking down at you as if you’re a mouse trapped beneath her paws. your breathing quickens at her actions. “of course d, here let me just-” but before you can reach for your bag, you’re stopped by soft lips quickly but firmly pressing to yours. before you can blink she’s already straighted up, rubbing her lips together. “mmh, it tastes good. send me the link?” and before you can even stutter out a agreement, she’s sashayed away in a cloud of her sweet, expensive perfume. you quitly groan and cover your warm face with your hands. she’s so mean!

Congrats on 5 years! And I'm just curious, if you had to give a rough estimate, about how many more years do you think it'll be for the comic to reach the ending? If it's at the halfway mark, would it be another 5 years? If it's past that, maybe less than 5? Obviously there's no way to predict with certainty, but it's interesting to think about!

It's definitely past the halfway mark, but also, the longer I've done this, the longer the comics got. I can easily imagine myself drawing as much as it has taken me to get here, if that makes sense.

But no, I think at this point, if it took me another five years, I would not be able to move forward. I'm working towards an ending, and as much as I love this project, I don't want to devote a decade to it. It deserves a swifter and more solid ending.

Whatever happens, however it appears, may I experience it with total acceptance. Welcoming the randomness and mysteries life offers me.

I showed up to the start of my friends D&D campaign for my partner and I dressed all up as my wizard character with props n everything! Fantastical blue dress, wizard hat, spellbook, you get the picture. I was only one prepared .. cuz when i showed up instead of a d&d campaign i got dumped.
