Misto’s Battle stat Sheet

This Battle Stat sheet urges you to balance your character’s prowess in battle with weaknesses that could be their downfall. Options are limited to better help you home in on their specialties. Challenge yourself to follow the limits! Designed for the FFXIV universe.

Rules: Bold character’s strengths. Italicize character’s weaknesses. Both can apply to one item. Remember to REPOST.

♦ BEST TRAITS (BOLD 3, ITALICIZE 2)

Strength - Endurance - Defense - Dexterity - Intelligence - Magic - Charisma - Perception - Luck

♦ BATTLE EXPERIENCE (BOLD 1)

Neophyte - Novice - Trained - Experienced - Veteran

♦ PROFICIENCIES (BOLD UP TO 5, ITALICIZE AT LEAST 4)

Martial : Sword & Shield - Axe - Bow & Arrows - Spear - Greatsword - Fists - Daggers - Firearms - Other (Exotic Swords (Katana, Scimitar, etc.))

Magical : Healing - Summoning - Fire - Water - Wind - Earth - Ice - Lightning - Dark - Light - Fate Manipulation - Song - Divine Favor - Aether Shield - Aether Manipulation - Other (Levianthan-egi summoning)

♦ SPECIAL ABILITIES

Humanoid Calculator: Misto is one of those people who if you give a mathematical formula to can mentally punch in the numbers with great speed and accuracy. His adoptive father picked up on this and steered him towards the study of arcanima and eventually summoning.

Combat Pragmatist: If he needs to fight someone Misto isn’t going to worry about things like ‘honour’ or ‘fairness’ because as he would say ‘then I’d die’. He’ll use terrain, make a deal with others for an advantage, or maybe even play possum.

Knows how to unwind: Misto never lets work come before play and would much rather be living it up then fighting. The reason I’m putting this here is it means he’s not going to run himself short or take on more then he can chew if he can help it.

Egi of the Whorl: Thanks to his mathematical mind and his adopted father’s research into Allagan relics, as well as the encounter which cost him his adopted family, Misto can summon a Leviathan Egi for a short time. While keeping it out for too long is not exactly healthy, Misto can use it’s immense power for a short time to devastating effect. As such it’s something he only uses in case of emergency

♦ WEAKNESSES

Not in the face!: Misto’s most experience with hand to hand fight was scuffles between himself and other homeless children when he was quite young. Even then he more then likely did not come out on top. He’s focused on having his Egi do the close fighting and if you can get around it he doesn’t have much of a defence up close.

Better Part of Valour: Misto will try to quit the field if things look like they’re going bad. If it looks like running is a good idea and possible, he’s out of there.

Great Power, great strain: If Misto is using the Levathan Egi it’s a dire situation already. He knows he only has a short time to finish the fight at that point before the egi drains his aether to dangerous levels. If he keeps it out to long he’ll become weak, pale and start bleeding from his ears. he will collapse from the strain before it can kill him if he pushes too far, however is he starts showing physical signs he’ll be too drained to continue to fight after

Living the high life: As much as Misto likes to have a solid plan before going into a fight, he likes to do anything other than think about work if he can help it. As such he doesn’t really train. He will sometimes doodle and experiment with different geometrical designs or calculations that could be applied to his magic but that’s as close as he gets. He’d much rather be having a night out drinking, watching theatre or shopping then doing anything to enhance his combat ability when he believes he has his magic skills as good as he needs.
