Focus for 2023 ✍🏾

Okay so, I opted to create focus points instead of goals for next year. The intent is to start general and create goals along the way. I can get bogged down by the details and can overwork myself to meet target dates that were probably unrealistic from the start
This will also give me the flexibility to tweak things as I go and adapt to my environment because not everything will go according to plan. 2023 will be about building myself up emotionally and taking things one step at a time!
Adopt a growth mindset
Make time for reflecting
Focus on consistency and being efficient
Find interests outside of work
Remind myself that love is in the cards for me, even if I can’t see it yet
Live a soft life
Travel once every season

Find a style that I am comfortable with
Get back into doing my own make up
Self maintenance - hair, nails, eyebrows regularly
Trust my inner compass
Speak my truth - show up for myself
Go easy on myself - you don’t need to have everything thought out to the last detail.
Rest when I need to
Stop allowing undeserving people to have access to my life
Stop invalidating my emotions - this is also a tricky one because I know that my thoughts can be irrational in some cases but I’m remaining hopeful
Be grateful for what I have, I didn’t get it by chance
I’m feeling very optimistic about 2023 and I can’t wait to see what’s in store!

Easy breezy beautiful 2 week challenge ✨
It’s great to be set lofty goals, but sometimes that just results in analysis paralysis - instead I’m inviting you to treat yourself with love and compassion. If you aim to improve out of love for yourself you’ll have way more success than if you do it out of frustration or self loathing.
The other thing to remember is that it’s only two weeks. You don’t have to keep this up forever - just give it a try. Maybe you’ll walk out of this with some new habits that serve you well.
- move every day - a walk, yoga, Pilates, weight lifting. Whatever makes you feel good.
- eat lots of fruit and vegetables and limit simple carbs
- focus on breathing. Stay in the moment and remember that you’re in control of your mood and your life.
- no alcohol
- make time to journal, meditate, or tap (EFT/tapping has been amazing for me!)
- walk with confidence and work on posture
- keep your home tidy

The secret to create healthy habits.
Motivation > discipline > consistency > habits. That's the process from start to finish, for changing your life around with healthy choices.
Motivation is only the launchpad to start with, after that you can't rely on it because it comes and goes on a whim! A lot of people make the mistake on relying on it all throughout, and then wonder why they can't stay on track while other people do.
What you need next is discipline: when you commit to something and stick to it even when it's hard, even when you don't feel like it, because that's how you fill the gaps inbetween to create a routine.
And you create a routine by staying consistent. Today, tomorrow, again and again.
When you stay consistent over months, over half a year, it becomes a habit, and when something becomes a habit, it's effortless to keep going because that is now your default setting. It becomes your new normal, the choice that comes easiest to make because you don't even have to make it or think it; you just lean back into it.
Going to the gym regularly becomes like having a meal; if you don't do it, you'll feel restless and off, genuinely craving the movement and the boost of endorphins. When you eat healthy regularly, you feel it right away if you get off track and indulge in too many treats: you'll feel it in your body, in your mental clarity, in your emotional wellbeing and it's so much easier getting back on track because healthy is your new default.

What are the rules for power upgrades in ML? (Not that the writers will remember after three episodes, but I'm curious)

Based off how Ladybug starts making Anti-Akuma charms by the power of just "I Do What I Want", and Shadowmoth overcoming those same charms immediately through the "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better", I just made a sort of vague rule that if the holder is ever desperate enough, and focused enough, a power could possibly manifest to fulfill that desperation.
I imagine there'd be some blocks, like you can't manifest a power that will completely replace another kwami's power, and if you use the Miraculous for evil, it'll take more than just desperation to make a new power manifest and for evil holders it may only manifest one time. But these caveats probably won't come up since I only have a few episodes left to write.
