A/N: Another adventure into the Pokemon fandom. This time with ex champion Leon.

Looking around Wyndon you smile as the wind from the taxi behind you takes off with a roar from the corviknight lifting it into the air. The largest city in Galar and you’re excited to be there with a skip in your step as you stroll along the roads with a map open on your phone to make sure you don’t get lost your first time in the city.

It’s only your second day and you want to walk along the river that divides part of the city and winds near the stadium. It’s not the right time of year for the gym challenge so you know there’s no chance of catching a stadium match right now. Well not unless you had tickets for the newest champions special competitions that ran at random times and prices seemed ridiculous unless you were there right as the announcement for the tournament was made.

As you strolled along the cobblestone path that mirrored the curve of the river you grinned. At least until you heard a voice calling out “Hello! Hello!” Turning you feel your eyes grow wide and if you hadn’t caught yourself you’re certain your jaw would have dropped.

It looks like the previous champion Leon. Running towards you in a frilly cravat and red waistcoat. “Can I help you?”

“I’m Leon, chair of the Pokemon League. I think I might have gotten turned around, and I forgot my phone. Could you show me where we ar-” As he walked closer the man who at least introduced himself as being Leon trips on the uneven stone.

Pitching forward with arms spread wide as he tries to catch himself. Only to keep falling forward and into your body with his mouth landing on yours.

You stare at him with wide eyes as he stares back both of you unmoving for a moment. Well, that’s one way to meet the previous champion in an interesting way. Fingers crossed you get his number.
