My character creation process is literally like. I look at a vocaloid module and think "what if they had trauma" and suddenly they're a new blorbo
#me after seeing a fanart of miku's ribbon girl module: i diagnose you with bpd#if it's not a module it's a song. and then bam they exist and will not leave my brain for the forseeable future#aira started out as “what if i made a character inspired by true love restraint”#alec started out as “what if i fixed up my headcanons of kagamine len from when i was a teenager”#morrigan “what if i made a character inspired by moonlight and black”#lentil “i like miku x len so obviously if i'm shipping morrigan with someone he has to be len-adjacent”#lentil looks nothing like len at this point lmfao#cam's origins are less specific it's more like. teenage me really liked len and was like what if i give len all my trauma for coping reason#and then later i was like “okay this guy has been with me for years. he deserves to be his own character instead of just-#a weirdly specific kagamine len headcanon“#so i named him after a mili song and tweaked his appearance and here we are#this isn't even getting into all the other little guys i've got that aren't f/o or s/i material
