*** With an AdMech colour scheme established I decided to knock off the other one I had on my backlog. But this time I decided to add some splash of white for the armor, so it didn't go overboard with the metal.
Decided to swap out the head as I don't like any of the original Datasmith heads. A bit of a tight fit but I don't think a domed helmet would've worked as well in this case. This one was originally meant to be a sidekick for the Magos I painted years ago, but decided otherwise as the scheme I went for back then wasn't all that great. Almost want to repaint the Magos, but it's been varnished and probably too much of a hassle to do. Also, the first three wafers are colour coded after the Doom keys. Just because.

Hi, sorry if you don't like asks, but too bad i sent this already
Don't really know much about most of the primarchs, and you're one of the silly primarch people so yeah.
How did lorgar feel about the admech? While most of the primarchs probably didnt care for them or saw them as a neccesary evil (besides probably ferrus and perty), lorgar is an outlier compared to the other primarchs in his beliefs, and since he believed so vehemently in his faith, im curious how he reacted to the admechs altered and radically different interpretation of his god (who not even all of the A.M saw as even the omnissiah, moreso just a very powerful mortal)
Needed and useful, but the WB - pre Heresy especially - considered the human being to be perfect and above any other creation. Sufficient to say, the fact of ruining it only to add some mechanical parts is like desecrating a holy temple.
Plus, body aside, they also tend to loose a more human mind and, consequentially, its fantasies and passions - even more "cold" legions were criticized for this, like the Ultramarines.
Argel Tal narrowed his eyes at the absolute neutrality in the tone, not a ghost of emotion. He’d seen automatons in the Legio Cybernetica with more humanity than the Ultramarines primarch.
Lorgar unironically shitted on the custodes too lmao:
"You are not entitled to watch over me like a pack of prison wardens. I am the Emperor’s son, formed by his mastery in order to carry out his will. You are a flock of genetic toys pieced together in a laboratory from vials of biological scrap. You are so far beneath me that I wouldn’t piss on your bodies even if you were aflame."
For him, I don't remember if he ever addressed the AdMech specifically in the books, but it's easy to guess what his thoughts were.
Hope this helped c:
These excerpts are all from "The First heretic" by ADB - highly recommended, one of my fav book.
I don't remember now if there are any other scenes in other books honestly, maybe someone will add something more in the comment/reblog, so check it later 👀

there’s a design that screams siege engine
as for this spindly little beast

it shouldn’t be too hard to find something in the legio cybernetica that fits it

A bit of a size comparison between my current robots (Kastelans) versus my newer one (Thanatar). He’s definitely a big boy... Bonus Myrmidon and Magos/Datasmith Arthin of the Agripinaa Covenant

What's your thoughts of the imperium having Super Robots?
Commander Krole: *hand gestures* *nods*
Melpomanei: “The Legio Cybernetica are a valuable military asset. If they are developing new ‘Super Robots’, I support this.”

Аutomata golden army
Rumor of those that are invited to the world and hive city of Akellando witnessed the constructions of metal, man, and very very dark recesses of the Dark Age. Grands Golden Guard, the constructs entrusted to maintain and protect the world he calls his own and the people he calls Home

It is a time of darkness. Of conflict. Of war. It is the Age of Strife. Across the galaxy, mankind’s once brilliant empire lies in shambles, broken by a pyrrhic struggle against genocidal thinking machines and abominations from beyond the veil. Warp storms of unparalleled ferocity and scope have made interstellar travel all but impossible, isolating battle scarred human holdouts and depriving countless systems of vital resources. Mars is one such benighted place, its once bountiful terraformed ecosystem has collapsed, great forests and verdant plains returned to the barren, rad-scoured deserts of millennia past. In order to survive on their hostile world, many Martian tribes have dedicated their existence to the location and preservation of vital technologies, preserving the knowledge of their use through repetition and rote rather than true understanding. With the passing of centuries, this practice has degraded into the faith of the Mechanicum, which now strives to rule over all of Mars in the name of the Machine God and the Tech Priests who speak in his voice. But the red planet is a divided realm, with inhuman intelligences, psychic abominations, and cyborg tyrants all laying claim to the Tech Priests’ rightful domains. Standing against these horrors are the Legiones Skitarii, holy fusions of man and machine, combined into soldiers without fear or weakness. Their campaigns are supported by the quasi-divine robots of the Legio Cybernetica, the God Machines of the Collegia Titanicus, and the Apocalypse Engines of the Ordo Reductor to name only a few. Despite such colossal might, if victory is to be achieved it will not be without cost, the gears of conquest must be oiled by oceans of blood, and all constructs of flesh and iron know the future of their world hangs in the balance. Whether for ten years or for ten thousand, the Red Planet will burn.
