Starting to think that a lot of Arthurian retellings are missing out by not pulling more from actual 6th century history. Like, everyone wants things to dramatically collapse after Camlann, but it doesn’t quite fit with the usual high Middle Ages setting, which didn’t really collapse in such apocalyptic ways. Whereas if we proceed from the Annales Cambriae date of 537 AD, we put it right at the cusp of the late antique little ice age, which included not only a decade of crop failures caused by volcanic winters, but also the plague of Justinian starting in 541.

#basically I think that’s a great thematic backdrop for the post-collapse of a legendary golden age #no matter how ahistorical and anachronistic the rest of the story is for that date #Arthur project #‘plague in Britain and Ireland’ indeed

Ok more concepts for Astrapi

Basically I have decided Astrapi should have 2 forms. It's more passive cloudy form, which is its standard form that it flies around in, and it's more battle-focused lightning form (it's true form). Unsure if I'll keep the true form completely gold or if I'll go back to having only parts of its body being gold.

I always thought it was a little bit of an asshole move to tell Valas that Zaknafein knew his grandfather (WITHOUT telling him the nature of their relationship) and then set them up on a mission together, but it just occurred to me that that might have been Jarlaxle’s way of confirming to *himself* that Valas really doesn’t take after his grandfather’s shittier traits and that he is absolutely justified in placing so much faith in these younger drow he keeps taking under his wing.

Did that fav pkmn thing on a whim and I'm sorry for all my babies I didn't choose bc I really like too many by some.

Love how it's mostly pretty ones and then there's clodsire. Even tho I got it in my team since the beginning of violet do I continuously forget its name bc I just call it by the nickname blobby (one of the rare times I didn't spend hours googling the perfect nickname but it nonetheless is a perfect one)

And for fun without any legendaries as fav

Reg nicknames I even write all down so I only spend decades once for each pkmn (unless I don't like the prev one anymore). Need to update that someday since it's mostly old revolution ones but hey. Blaze do I use for arcanine nowadays more and ninetails got others. Gardevoir got soteria nowadays which I prefer more. Etc.
