He didn’t know about the details of it, considering that it had never been brought up and the minimal amount of effort he spent on social media, limiting his knowledge of this. “And what makes you think I wouldn’t be up for it?” Rensuke asked, a stern tone laced with sleep taking over his voice.

“Mhm? And since when were you interested in the NNN challenge?” you asked, turning to face him, clicking your phone shut. “Not that I know what it is, but what makes you think I’d back down?”

“You want to skip out on sinful intimacy and not touch yourself for an entire month, Rensuke?”

Pulling back, his eyes met yours, his auburn orbs holding a daring expression. Turning you over, he placed on your back, straddling your hips. Leaning down, he placed himself on his elbows, his bare abs coming in contact with the thin material of your shirt, yet still feeling the surface of his hard muscles against your stomach. You could feel the light pants from his lips as he adjusted himself above you, the minty whiffs of his warm breath on the tip of your nose. “Look at me.” Staring up at him, you felt your fingertips dig into the surface of the mattress, resisting the urge to pull him into you as you had done times before. Even if you had shared intimacy with him many times, the scene managed to make your heart race and your face heat up. But this time… it was almost like Rensuke had a point to prove, that you were going to lose the challenge if you went through with it, with him tempting you for the next thirty days. Eyes looking into his half lidded ones, your gaze shifted from them to his lips, mesmerized by the way his lips formed around the words.

“I can fuck you whenever I want to.” You swallowed hard, body squirming in response to his raspy voice as he said it.

“I don’t need some stupid challenge to show my self restraint.” he said, hand moving towards the column of your throat as he lips came to the side of your ear, placing a kiss on the lobe of it while his fingers lightly traced circular patterns into the skin of your throat and his other hand weaved his fingers between yours.

“Imagine not having this for another month. Don’t want that to happen do you?” Rensuke purred, making you whine. Pulling away from you, he kissed the tip of your nose, dropping himself on the other side of his bed.

“Too bad, it seems like you landed yourself in this one. Since I would be ‘up for it.’” Rensuke said, a smirk playing on his lips as he faced away from you to sleep. That night you racked your brain for ideas of how you could possibly seduce him for the next 30 days, thinking of how you could make his patience snap.

Meguru placed his feet on the sofa as he watched the match on the screen before him, your head in his lap as you scrolled through your phone, laughing particularly hard at one meme about people losing the NNN challenge, making Meguru look at you in fondness yet curiosity. Playing with your hair, he asked you in a playful tone. “What’s got you laughing?”

“Seems like people are losing the NNN challenge.” “What’s that…?” he asked, cocking his head to the side, clueless.

“You can’t touch yourself or your partner for the whole month of November. That’s the No nut November challenge.” you said simply, looking back at your phone. You didn’t feel Bachira move or the sound of the television that was now on mute. Just what was the thinking? Tilting your head up slightly, you were met with the sight of Meguru staring into empty space before him.

“What are you thinking about Meguru?” you asked, playing with the blonde colored parts of his hair. He hummed in response, taking your hand into his, entwining his digits with yours. “Tell me.” “It's not that hard.” he declared, looking down at you, his honey like gaze holding mischief in them.

“What isn’t?” “The challenge.” he said, a smirk playing on his lips. Choosing to contest him, you got up from your spot, hsi face looking relaxed and close to smug. “You think you can pull off this challenge?” you asked, crossing your arms over his chest. “It is not impossible.” he said, sinking into the couch with a wave of his hand to show the easiness he felt about it. “You and the no nut november challenge? Meguru there’s no way-” “Why don’t we take it up then?” he asked, eyes staring into yours with dispassion. Leaning forward, he placed a hand behind you, his cheek coming close to yours as he whispered into your ear. “I know that I fuck you like an animal, make you cry out and make you stand on shaky legs the next day.”

Pulling away his eyes bore into yours, half lidded and smug. “But I can be tame sometimes.” You metally groaned at the thought of not having pleasure for the next month. There was only so much you could do on your own, your body wanting Meguru and his touch.

“So we’re going through with it.” he said with finality, turning towards the television screen, unmuting it, paying attention to the match.

You turned to the other side of the couch, making sure to hide your phone away from Bachira’s gaze. ``100 ways to seduce your boyfriend, when he won’t pay attention to you.’

Although Nagi spent most of his time on his phone watching videos of football, learning new tricks or playing games, he wasn’t confined to living under a rock. Scrolling through social media, he was waiting for the announcement of a new game that was dropping that day, his eyes catching a glimpse of a post that he was unfamiliar with, the caption stating, ‘When you fail the NNN challenge.’

The ping of your phone caught your attention, causing you to pick up the device. It wasn’t a surprise to see a message from Nagi, but the message itself caught you off guard. Clicking on the video, you felt a laugh come out of you as the video played that of a panicked man realizing it was the night of the thirty first of October. It was the NNN challenge. But why would Nagi send you that? Your question was answered with the appearance of a text bubble that came beneath the said video.

Sei ♡ : ‘What are the limits here?’

Sighing you typed back.

You : Are you asking me about the challenge? Sei ♡ : yeah its all over my feed now.

You : Why don’t you just search it up? Sei : Too lazy.

Shaking your head at his sloth like personality that took over at times when he wasn’t at a field, you typed back,

You : It’s the No nut November challenge. You can’t touch yourself or your partner for the whole month of November.

You watched as the text bubble appeared and reappeared, this time the text making you quirk an eyebrow.

Sei ♡ : Let’s do it. You : Are you sure? I don’t think you can hold out long.

Little did you know that your text had made Nagi stand his ground and not change his mind, providing him with the motive to toy with you until you gave in and lost the challenge.

It had been five minutes with Sieshiro leaving you on read. Had he grown hesitant and decided that the challenge was not worth it? You felt a smirk come on your lips at the thought of having the upper hand of the argument, managing to have him question his capacity of self restraint. Your train of thoughts was interrupted with the ping of your phone, making your curiosity rouse as you stared at the screen.

Sei ♡ : Sent an attached image.

Opening the picture you felt heat rise to your cheeks as you took in the sight before you. Nagi had lifted up his jersey the cloth between his teeth, displaying a set of well cut abs with a light sheen of sweat, his jersey shorts being pulled a bit under his adonis belt by his gloved hand, the veins on his forearms prominent, presenting the sinful image of his v lines along with the happy trail that went down into the hem of his shorts. Taking a screenshot of the image, you saw the appearance of a text bubble.

Sei ♡ : ‘Think you can hold out long? Taking an ss isn’t very nice yk?’ Seishiro smirked at the upper hand he had in the game with you taking the bait. Little did he know about the tricks you had up your sleeve, deciding to online shop for outfits were sure to break his even temper.

♥ Yoichi Isagi: The Blackout Drunk

❥ Poor Isagi probably gets drank under the table every single time. His competitive nature makes him believe that this is going to be the night where he’ll be able to catch up to the others; alas, despite your dutiful reminders of what happens every time he lets himself get riled up, his Japanese genetics are his own worst enemy. He also forgets how badly his body reacts every time, which doesn’t help you to convince him that he and alcohol are not friends.

❥ He’s a notorious puker, but at least he’s a champ about it and manages to hold it until he gets to an appropriate receptacle. People know to keep a trash can near him.

❥ His red face/Asian glow is very cute on him. His blush is full-body and he gets really warm really fast.

❥ He might unwittingly start to think out loud about things he’d usually keep to himself while hunched over the porcelain throne, so whoever’s in there to make sure he’s okay is going to hear the inner workings of Yoichi Isagi—which should make for very interesting commentary.

“Yoichi-kun, I got you a Pocari Sweat… you okay?”

Bounding up the stairs to the washroom two at a time, you’re rushing with the bottle tucked under your arm to check on your boyfriend. You told him not to play that drinking game with the others, and look where it got him. He might excel at soccer, but he’s definitely no winner when it comes to holding his liquor.

“Not enough… need to be… hic… more…”

You slow down at the partially-closed door, hearing him muttering conspiratorially with his head bowed over the toilet. You can still see how red his neck and ears are, even from here, dark locks of hair plastered against his sweaty skin.

“Yoichi?” you repeat louder to announce your presence, gently knocking the door with your knuckles. He raises his head and blinks at you blearily, dazed.

“I-I’m fineghk—”

“Not fine.” You sigh, kneeling beside him to brush back the bangs on his forehead as he hurls up whatever’s left in him. He rests his head exhaustedly on a limp elbow, eyes closed, probably to help with the dizziness. “You should try and drink this electrolyte,” you prompt.

“Need to be better,” he mumbles again, like he never even heard you, lost in his own head. “Gotta be better for [Name]…”

At this point, you’re used to his unknowing mumblings. Knowing that he’ll never admit to saying this when sober, you let yourself smile secretively and whisper back into his ear,

“You’re already my number one.”

He cracks a blue eye open, looking shocked. The sweetest smile you’ve ever seen cracks over his blooming face. He won’t remember this, but you’ll just have to keep reminding him once he’s sobered up.

♥ Seishiro Nagi: The Touch-Starved Drunk

❥ 190 cm of lover boy is going to end up draped around whoever’s close enough (or unfortunate enough) to end up stuck beneath him.

❥ His sleepy disposition + a couple drinks = immediate snooze town. He’s able to fall asleep literally anywhere, so if you don’t want him conked out on a bench in the middle of nowhere, you better hope you’re strong enough to haul him around.

❥ He falls asleep on you like a koala hugging a branch to get as much of him touching you as possible. He whines like a baby if you try to wake him up or move him. With a face like that, how could you ever say no?

❥ He craves your warmth and refuses to let you go, even if you’re embarrassed by how openly he’s displaying his affections. He doesn’t care if everybody can see you because they should all know you belong to him, anyways.

He already knows that you’re ticklish, but that doesn’t stop him from burying his face into your neck. White strands of coarse hair make you shudder, and you can feel how cold the tip of his nose is when he presses it into your skin. Some other party-goers shoot you odd looks as he wraps his arms around you possessively, trapping you in your seat.

“Uh, Sei?” you try to reason, panicked, but there’s no use fighting him when he’s three times as strong as you. “Don’t fall asleep yet…

“Sleepy.” It’s all he has to say for himself as he sighs, the warm breath once again making you flinch as it sweeps the baby hairs on your sensitive nape. “You’re comfy….”

“If you fall asleep on me, I won’t be able to get up! You’re too heavy!”

“Where would you want to go without me anyways?” he grumbles, hugging you even more tightly so that air is squeezed out of your lungs. He treats you almost like his personal teddy bear, sighing contentedly as he leans his full weight into you. “Don’t go anywhere. Stay right here. With… m…”

He doesn’t even finish his sentence, falling asleep with his mouth still half open. People are still staring at you for having a giant man wrapped around you on the couch. No matter how much you wriggle, he refuses to let go; and when he stirs, he just holds onto you tighter. You might be more annoyed if he wasn’t so damn cute about it, his face happily content to be holding you.

You decide he’s earned five more minutes of getting his way before you really start to try and shake him off of you.

♥ Meguru Bachira: The Reckless Drunk

❥ He’s already impulsive enough sober and lacks social anxiety, so he’d be an absolute menace after a few drinks.

❥ If you do not lay eyes on him at all times, he’s absolutely going to disappear, and you’ll find him doing rooftop parkour or something equally outrageous. He’s a wanderer and is the person that always goes missing with nobody knowing where he went. You’d probably need to strap him into those kiddy backpacks with a leash just to keep track of him.

❥ He would not have the capacity to hold his tongue and would probably accidentally start a couple fights just by making some off-hand comments.

❥ As much of a handful as he is, there’s reasoning behind it. He’s used to acting out for people to notice him, even if it’s negative attention. He feels like he has to do something crazy because all he wants is for your eyes to be only on him.

“Megu—how the hell did you get up there?!”

It’s freezing cold outside at this hour, but here you are, shivering as you shout up into a tree. Your boyfriend laughs down at you gleefully as if he’s not perched on a branch that looks like it’s one dirty look away from snapping in half.

“Are ya’ impressed yet, [Name]-cchi?” His words are somewhat slurred, which is ever more worrisome. You can’t let a star athlete break his bones because he fell out of a damn tree. Teeth chattering, you shout up to him again.

“Come down! Please?”

“Mm… don’t wanna.”

It’s times like these that you remember he will always be a kid at heart, and if you’re going to win, you need to address the child inside of him. You happily wave and turn around.

“Okay, bye then! Have fun up there!”

“H-hey—wait!”

He’s quick to jump down from the tree the moment you pretend to walk off, rolling in the sand before bouncing up to his feet. He pouts, stumbling after you. He obviously expected you to yell at him more.

“Gotcha’.” You turn around and quickly wrap your arms around him, squeezing him meaningfully with a stern look. “Seriously, Megu, stop climbing random things. You’re gonna give me a heart attack.”

“It just looked like it’d be fun.”

“Do something crazy like that again and I’m going to die young. Do you want that to happen?” You peer up at his reddened face meaningfully, and he shakes his head fervently. You smile softly to assuage the scared look on his face that he’s made you angry. Then, you realize;

“Where are your pants?!”

♥ Hyoma Chigiri: The Secret Drunk

❥ He would hate going out and would equally hate the drinking culture because it’s so noisy. On the off-occasion that he concedes and indulges, nothing much changes at all; he seems like he’d have a high tolerance and simply doesn’t bother with drinking since it’s bad for your health.

❥ He’s picky as all hell and would end up critiquing the alcohol like a wine connoisseur, much to the annoyance of the other jocks around him who are just drinking to get drunk.

❥ He would find the quietest corner in a party setting or hunt down the family pet, preferring to be alone or with you to avoid dealing with everybody else’s mess.

❥ He probably ends up disappearing halfway through the night, timing his exit with the moment people start to forget about him.

"Pspspsp... c'mere, kitty-chan..."

"There you are, Hyoma-kun!"

The cat, startled by noise, darts away to retreat even further into the shadows. Chigiri sighs irritably before realizing that it's you, and his expression brightens immediately.

"Hey," he greets quietly, barely audible over the music thumping downstairs. "Sorry I dipped. You looked like you were having a good time catching up with your old friends."

"I know, don't worry." You kneel beside him, offering him your glass. He eyes it judgementally to which you smile wryly. "It's not 150 yen beer, I promise. It's a fruity drink that I like."

"Hm..."

You always admire how he looks when he's serious. His pink eyes look almost crimson red in this low-light, and the braided hairstyle you helped him with earlier tonight frames his angular face. He sucks his teeth, aerating the drink in his mouth like a professional—as if this also didn't come from a can.

"It's too sweet," he decides, though he's more gentle about it with you than he was to the other guys who tried to pressure him into doing shots of something vile. He passes it back to you with a reassuring smile. "But drink as much as you want."

"I think I'm done, actually. Should we get out of here?"

His eyes light up as if you've told him that he's won the lottery. He grabs your hand and is already immediately hauling you up to your feet.

"The next part of Shingeki no Kyojin came out. I haven't watched it yet because I was waiting for you, but we'll have time if we go now. Did you leave anything? Do you have your coat?"

It's hilarious how excited he is to get home to watch anime, but knowing that he wants you there when he doesn't care for the company of anybody else makes the warm glow on your face fill your heart, too.

♥ Rin Itoshi: The "Gap Moe" Smiley Drunk

❥ Rin probably would never touch a drink until he’s goaded into it. You’d really have to get under his skin to convince him to put a toxin into his body when his entire life revolves around conditioning himself to be the world’s best striker. But he hates losing even more, so he’d cave pretty easily.

❥ He’s trained his face to be incredibly stoic and has suppressed his feelings for so long that when he becomes even the slightest bit inebriated, those emotions break past his barrier.

❥ He isn’t even ‘drunk’ and talks/acts with the same blunt unfriendliness as per usual, but he’s stuck with a goofy smile that makes people take him a lot less seriously. People think it’s creepy because he’s locked into a cheerful looking grin until the drinks clear out of his system.

❥ It’s the only time anybody besides from his partner can catch him smiling so openly. He hates pictures, but nobody would pass up a chance to get a shot of the infamous Puppeteer going “😊”.

"I'm not drunk," Rin snaps at you in a very hostile tone of voice. "Just leave me alone."

To anybody else, they would've backed off by now. But his entire demeanour is completely negated by the peaceful smile that tugs on his lips. At this point in your relationship you are fully aware that Rin accidentally says things he doesn't really mean; and it seems like that cheap shot of sake did you a favour into revealing his true thoughts. Literally. Even now, he's smiling.

"If you're not drunk, then why do you look like that?"

"I always look like this," he retorts.

You laugh. Openly. You have to, because no way in hell does Rin Itoshi of all people walk around grinning like he's Buddha or something. He looks like he's about to start skipping away, flower petals raining behind him. It's unconscious, you know, but it's still hilarious. He flushes red, brightly, and you're even more delighted to know that you've gotten this crazy egoist to blush all because of you.

"It's cute," you say (stifling another laugh), patting him on the shoulder. He always begrudgingly lets you have your way with him—you're the only one who's earned this privilege. Rin always takes things too seriously, so you've decided for him that you'll be the one to lift him out of the ruts he digs himself into.

"It's not," he groans defeatedly, rubbing his eyes with a sigh. "I can't go out there and be seen like this."

"Then let's just stay here for a little while longer." You sit down beside him on the bed, unable to help yourself from smiling back to him even if he isn't meaning to smile at you. "For what it's worth, I really like this look on you. You could stand to smile more."

(You look away before meeting his eyes; then, you would've been able to tell that his gaze softens, and the smile is genuine.)

♥ Rensuke Kunigami: The Competitive-But-Always-Loses Drunk

❥ He’s always going to be super nice, but even after the tiniest bit of alcohol gets into him, he is so. Freaking. L o u d. Like, shouting at the top of his lungs even if you’re sitting right next to him because he thinks he’s talking normally kind of loud.

❥ Would end up trying to arm wrestle anybody he talks to. If they decline, he’ll try to get them to play rock-paper-scissors with him. He’s just super competitive and truly believes he can win even when he can barely walk straight.

❥ He worries a lot about people’s perceptions of him being a mean person, so you suspect that’s why he tries so hard to be extra sociable. He doesn’t seem to realize that people already think of him fondly as an older brother figure.

❥ As his partner, you often end up bearing the brunt of his series of shouted challenges. Have an abundance of patience, because he cannot stand losing and will continue to beg you to play him until he wins one.

"Wh—why am I going backwards? TURN AROUND! TURN AROUND MUSHROOM BOY!"

"His name is Toad—"

"I FELL OFF?! HOW AM I IN LAST PLACE? NO WAY! THIS IS BULLSHIT!"

"Ren, you're holding the controller upside down..."

"NO!" he protests, shaking you off when you try to reach over to help. "I got this! I... YOU WON FIRST PLACE ALREADY?! HOW?"

You ignore all the heads that turn to track the source of the noise. Kunigami is still driving poor Toad off the road, too drunk to comprehend that the controller detects his full-body leaning—and that, it is still in fact, upside down in his too-large hands. It's too funny not to laugh, even if you do pity him somewhat for earning yet another DNF in last place for what might be the eleventh time in a row.

"Rematch!" Kunigami grumbles, whipping his head to look at you. "What kind of MAN am I if I can't even win this stupid.. Ma... Marine Camp game?"

"It's called 'Mario Kart'. Marine Camp?"

"Whatever! REMATCH!" He's already spamming buttons on his (still upside down) controller. "You said... if I won, I'd get to pick your outfit... 'n I have to take that seriously! It’s on my pride!”

You feel yourself become bashful; you had said that passingly, but only because you thought he was too drunk to remember. Kunigami looks at you pointedly again, face so red it just about blends in with his orange hair.

"C'mon, rematch!"

"Okay, okay... but only if you let me help you fix your controller first!”

♥ Reo Mikage: The Sloppy/Weepy Drunk

❥ Two words: absolute. Crybaby. So many tears.

❥ Don’t expect cute sniffling or anything either. It’s the full ugly cry: dripping snot, wailing, whining, etc. Reo is complete waterworks by drink two.

❥ He likes to talk big about revenge and all that, but in the end he simply never learnt how to cope with his emotions, so alcohol just sets him off even more. He is incredibly easy to make fun of in this state because he’ll just start to cry even harder, so you definitely need to usher him into a private room or something.

❥ He’ll start crying about things that happened years ago, like how embarrassing it was to rip his pants in elementary school; then he’ll start to complain about Nagi and cry harder, even if Nagi’s not even around; then he’ll cry about how cute you are and that you don’t love him as much as he loves you (no matter what you say to console him).

"There, there..."

"A-and then... he s-s-said... ugh—said "So, wh—cough—wh—"

"You have to breathe, Reo."

"I'm trying!"

With a small sigh, you end up wiping tears off Reo's cheeks with the same tissue he refuses to take from your hand. You lost track of him during the party, and in that short amount of time he had already managed to slosh down one too many drinks. You're still shocked that he'd subject himself to drinking when he ends up crying his eyes out in front of everybody every single time he does. For somebody so preoccupied with reputation, he's excellent at tanking his own. He's lucky you managed to excuse him before he started to weep in front of somebody of corporate import... or somebody malicious enough to take the scene to the internet.

"You probably hate me too, s-s-seeing me like this..."

"I don't hate you, Reo. If I did, I wouldn't be taking care of you."

"Everybody hates me!" he wails miserably, another fresh set of tears welling in his violet eyes, spilling down his face. You have to say; he spends so much time fronting with a media-trained smile or brooding with a deep scowl that it's somewhat of a relief to see him actually vent his feelings out. He's vulnerable like this, and it shows his undying trust in you.

"What if I said I liked you a lot?"

“Y-you—you do?" His eyes widen past the tears, doe-eyed and cute with eagerness, but he's sporting a shiny snot bubble now. You know you’re in real deep to be able to say this to a face like that:

"I do."

1. Rin

• he’s extremely private about his life in general, so his LOVE life is absolutely off the table

• if reporters were to ask him any questions about it, he’d have no problem saying "None of your business." and leaving them hanging

• no literally, any question about his love life will cause him to leave the interview immediately and without further commentary, so reporters learned pretty quickly to avoid that topic if they wanted an interview with Rin

2. Sae

• similar to Rin, he doesn’t really deem anyone worthy of knowing anything about his life besides his soccer career, and even that is only because it’s inevitable

• he also couldn’t care less what the media thinks about him and puts less than 0 effort into being remotely nice to his interviewers, he’ll always let them know how much of a bother they are being to him

• he doesn’t really mind if there’s paparazzi shots of him with you, but he also has no intention whatsoever of answering any questions about it

3. Chigiri

• he’s a lot nicer about it than the Itoshis, but he’s also not gonna budge whenever reporters attempt to coax out some info about his love life

• he will at least give them an explanation, saying that he would like to keep that part of his life private and that he wishes and demands for that to be respected

• following that, he would be quite upset if paparazzi were to leak pictures of him and you, despite him being so clear about wanting to keep his relationship away from the public (after that, his friendliness in interviews drops drastically, and he’s gonna stay pissed for a while)

4. Kunigami

• he doesn’t appreciate having people gossip about his love life and whether he has someone or not, so he will at least let the public know that he is taken

• however, he will also not answer any questions about you or the specifics of your relationship, and you can definitely count on him not slipping up and accidentally spilling something

• had no clue about different cuddling positions he just thought it was being close together but he loves spooning

• nagi might be the little spoon just a tiny bit more than the big spoon mostly because he enjoys the feeling of being held

• he doesn't really move a lot when sleeping, but he does get hot so the blankets might be thrown off the bed but he's not moving an inch away from you

• sometimes he'll lay on his back while on his phone with your head resting on his chest and he'll still have an arm around you or petting your hair

• reo likes cuddling even if you're not going to sleep because he just likes the warmth of it and will talk about anything and everything until you do eventually fall asleep and he just smiles before putting you in bed

• rensuke my giant teddy bear, he loves cuddling but acts like he doesn't care but will jump at any moment if you ask if he wants to cuddle

• he likes the half spoon position because he also runs hot at night but he still has an arm around you to know you're there

• he's a pretty light sleeper and will wake up at any moment he feels you move or get up but will quickly fall back asleep when you come back and pulls you closer to him

• rensuke doesn't move like at all when he's sleeping, he starts in one position and doesn't move whatsoever until he wakes up, also has a iron tight grip which is hard to get out of 💀

• because he gets hot in his sleep, he has the AC super fucking low, you might need a hoodie, sweatpants, socks, and a blanket while he has only pants on but you're freezing your ass off, he still won't move though

• on some occasions he will spoon fully, usually when you two got in a fight of sorts or he just needs it, and he'll kiss your head a lot and let you fall asleep before he does

KARASU is smooth with it, hand behind the passenger seat as he looks behind. has road rages actually, will not hesitate to honk people. hates it so much when he gets cut off. “WHERE’S YOUR FUCKING SIGNAL?!” honks x4‼️ got a crude crow car decal sticker on the rear window

KUNIGAMI is the designated driver but he’s a fast driver. i don’t think he realises the weight he puts on the accelerator is more than needed. is the go to if you’re out drunk and need someone to take you home safe or just need a ride in general. responsible 👍🏼

OTOYA still isn’t clear which way the car moves when he turns the steering wheel. spent a near 30 minutes directing him about the distance he should turn. outsider perspective is just you waving your arms about and him with the car going back and forth.

RIN would rather die than parallel park. attempts to drive past one when you pointed at the empty space. plays music so loud like you can feel the vibration as he drives past and for what. speeding ticket x1. his cars smells really good though very clean too.

ʚ ɞ Itoshi Rin :

Comforting Rin was awkward to say the least at the start and it was a pain to rack around your brain for ideas on how to comfort him. Making note of his favorite things over the course of your relationship helped you with that.

Asking him “Are you alright?” or wanting to make him sit down and talk his problems out only causes more arguments with more agitation on his side due to pent up anger.

Sitting alone in the corner of the sofa, Rin’s eyes boredly stared at the television screen that illuminated his face. He didn't even like the show, but didn’t bother to change as the noise was oddly comforting. You sat on the other end of the sofa, watching the ravenette’s expressions. It was cold as usual but the lines extended into a frown were more pronounced than usual, alerting you that today was one of those days where he needed to be comforted.

Reaching out towards the bag that you were prepared to give him later that day, you brought it in the middle of the both of you, causing his eyes to shift.

“I got you something.” was all you said, pushing the bag towards him.

“What is it?” was all he said, taking the brown bag and placing it in his lap.

“Open it.” Giving you a displeased glance, he begrudgingly put his hand into the bag, fingers digging into the soft material of the object. Pulling it out of the bag, his eyes scanned the soft plush.

It was an owl.

“Press it’s chest.”

Poking the soft cloth of its chest, a voice came from the owl.

“Don’t give up Rin, Hoot hoot.”

Rin’s eyes widened at the sound of your voice, causing him to press the chest of the owl a second time.

“On a field where Rin plays, people will come to cheer.

Kick the ball fast and hard, like you always do.

I will always be with you, no matter where you are, don't fear.”

“The lyrics are lame but the shopkeeper enjoyed it.” You said with a sheepish smile.

Snorting at the owl, Rin relaxed into the sofa, hands turning the owl around.

“It’s such a lame gift.” “Good news is, it is refundable. So… I’ll take it back to the store tomorrow.” you replied, hand reaching for the owl.

Slapping your hand away with a glare, “Did I say you can take it back? No. Don’t assume things, dork.” Rin said with a roll of his eyes, clutching the owl close to his belly. Biting your lip to suppress a grin you looked away, staring at the television screen that continued to roll, only for a hand to reach out to yours a few moments later with an assuring squeeze.

‘Thank you.’ was everything the gesture said, making you smile in relief.

Bonus : While you are away on a work trip or getaway with friends, Rin gets more acquainted with the owl, playing the song over and over again until he falls asleep. He will douse the owl with your perfume and when you find the bottle half empty as well as the owl smelling like your scent you are answered with a. “The damn thing smells. The least I did was maintain it or it would have found itself in the trash.”

ʚ ɞ Kunigami Rensuke :

Getting up from your seat as the bus came to a stop, you felt a smile on your face as you watched the man you loved get down from the vehicle. Holding your umbrella, you went to greet him only to feel your heart stop as you looked into his lifeless eyes. Knowing the man who left on that bus would have hugged you tight, lifting you into the air as he laughed in njoy upon seeing you again was no longer there, only a stranger who was now standing in the rain with his luggage beside him.

“Rensuke?” you asked tenderly, squeezing his arm only to earn no response. Picking up his bags, he walked alone before you heading into the direction on the street where your shared apartment was.

This had been the case since his blue lock days.

“These would help you sleep,” the therapist said, setting down a bottle of pills. Nightmares had become frequent in the resting world of the auburn haired man. Waiting in the chair, you watched as she set down the bottle of pills into the bag. “Only one and no alcohol.” she said warningly to which he nodded. Walking down the street, you watched as the man you once loved continued to stare lifelessly at the scene of people moving before him.

“Rensuke, why don’t you go home?” you asked, coming to a stop on the sidewalk. Giving you a blank side glance you explained further. “I didn’t want to bother you for dinner and I’m tired of making it as well. Besides…there is that old ramen stand around the street and I know what you like…” you rambled.

“Be quick.”

Were the only two words he gave in response before turning away to go down the same route that had become habitual.

Lying in bed, Rensuke stared at his hand. Watching the calloused lines that ran on the surface of his palm, he was reminded of the days he had spent in the wretched facility. It had made him into the footballer he was today, but at what cost?

The old Rensuke who could see the horizon of opportunities saw nothing but a desert in front of him, numb to the feeling of joy and instead had the incessant need to crush the spirit of the opposite team who loved the game just like he did. Clenching his fist he knew the trouble he had put you through.

The two of you had been in a relationship long enough for being labeled official, yet he was distant from you, barely talked or simply brushed past you for the last three years.

‘Let’s take our time with this.’

‘If you’re not ready to talk, then it's fine. We’ll go with your pace.’

‘I understand it's a struggle but Rome was not built in a day.’

His pace had cost over three years now running into the fourth, causing him to wonder why you were stuck with him. He was nothing but broken, unfixable yet you choose to chain yourself down with him instead of exploring the world out on your own and maybe… with someone you could find new. The thought of you leaving made him grit his teeth, yet he couldn’t seem to shake the fact that if you had made that decision he couldn’t find any reason to be upset with you except that he hadn’t been enough.

Hearing the jangling of the keys unlocking the door from the living room, he turned his head towards your side of the bed that faced the bedroom door.

“I’m home!!!” you bellowed, setting four bags down to the floor. Getting up with a huff, Rensuke walked towards the living room, watching you kneel over and hiding something under a blanket. Looking at the clock that was hung on the wall, he read out,

“It’s 10:30.”

“Yeah, I know… took me over three and half hours for the food cause I was busy picking up a special guest.” you responded, holding the shifting blanket to your side.

Raising an eyebrow to your response, you reached into your pocket, taking out a small figure.

Extending your hand out, you placed it into Kunigami’s palm that was much bigger than yours, causing his lips to fall into a tight line.

“A polar bear.” he said, setting it on the table.

“Yep. And…” you said, pulling the sheets down to reveal the contents of the blanket. “This is our special guest.”

“Woof!”

“What is that.” Kunigami stated with his eyes widening. “Polar bears can’t survive in Japan… but this little guy can.” you said, repositioning the puppy closer to your chest,

“This is Momotaro. Kunigami Momotaro, the baby polar bear also known as the Samoyed.”

Kunigami watched as the puppy licked its teeth, watching the tall auburn man before him wagging his tail.

“Hold him.” you ushered, extending the puppy towards Rensuke. “I don’t-”

“Reach your hands out and act as if you were holding a football but its a baby.” you instructed.

Placing the dog into his nervous hands, Kunigami sat on the sofa, worried about dropping the puppy to the floor.

“These are his chew toys, bowl of water and food. We have to get him vaccinated soon and also need to have a collar made…” you said, arranging the bags in order while placing takeout on the coffee table.

“Why.”

You paused looking at him.

“Hmm…?”

“Why… are you still doing this for me?” Rensuke asked, looking at you, expression a bit different with his eyes turning red, a tear threatening to escape.

“Why are you even still here?”

Sighing through your nose, you walked towards the sofa, sitting beside him as the puppy squirmed in his arms, placing his paws on his chest while wagging its tail.

“Because I love you.” you said, placing your hand on his knee. Rensuke felt his breath hitch at the mention of the three words that hadn’t been said in a while.

“I know you’ve been distant, Rensuke. I saw you when you got down from that bus. I don’t know what happened in that facility, but I know that you worked really hard to earn and keep your place there. All I was happy about was having you back.” you said, with a small smile.

“At the cost of what? Going to therapy with me? Staying in this fucking house all the time with one damaged person? Do you really want that?!” Kunigami exclaimed, causing the puppy to whimper.

“Rensuke.” you said, calmly, petting the puppy over the head. “You’re healing. Healing doesn’t come easy and that’s okay. I want to be there with you, no matter how or what form you may be in. Being a football player, you make a lot. You could date a TV star, a model or a singer, have anyone really… but you stuck with me. I can’t tell if your head is up in football or how much you can achieve or your goals that restrain yourself from beautiful women around the world who are ready to throw themselves at you… but, if I give you anything, it is my all. Going through a tough time alone isn’t easy but it is if you let me walk with you. Would you let me do that, silly boy?” you asked with a smile, ruffling his hair.

Giving you a watery smile as he leaned into your shoulder.

“Always.” was all he said as you felt a few drops seeping through your clothed shoulder.

Bonus :

“We should get the blue one.”

“No. Red.”

“No,blue.” you argued.

“Red.”

“We’ll let our son decide.” you said, holding up a cheerful momotaro.

Rolling his eyes, Rensuke took the two collars and placed them on the floor.

Taking a stance behind the red collar, you placed momotaro on the ground, telling him to stay.

Placing yourself a few feet away from Rensuke, you stood behind the blue one.

“Come here Momo”

“Come here Taro!” Rensuke said, getting on his knees, causing the puppy to run towards him. “Red it better isn’t it?” “Woof!!”
