Hi, I'm Neme, and sometimes I exaggerate (lll¬ω¬) POTENTIAL SPOILERS IN THE ART AND THE DESCRIPTION BELOW!! Adding a separate post with a video :D
THIS, this was born from a vague idea I had, of drawing Inosuke falling. For some reason, I wanted to draw him from the back - shoulders bare, hair flying everywhere, his face not visible; body straining, bowing, arm outstretched towards... something, way, way up above him, too far away and unreachable. And I did that. Then I told myself, "let's add Kotoha!"... Then I said "Why not add baby Inosuke?". Then I said "let's make the falling section something inspired by his death scene in the Entertainment District Arc!". Hence the trail of blood. Then, since Baby Inosuke already had bubbles around him, to represent the river he falls into, I added debris, flowers and grass falling from the cliff where Kotoha dies. Between Baby Inosuke and Teen Inosuke there are leaves and acorns, to symbolise the Mountain and the woods he grows up in. Since I'd decided the third scene is the scene where Gyutaro stabbed Inosuke in the heart, I added pieces of roof tiles, broken vases, fabric, splinters of wood... stuff that I guessed could be seen falling as Yoshiwara was destroyed. Then, since this was already a summary of Ino's (tragic) life, I HAD to add a ray of light at the end/the bottom... The Kamaboko Squad in all its glory. Between Inosuke and his friends, I added - mainly - feathers. Crow feathers around Tanjiro, Sparrow feathers around Zenitsu and... well, honestly I put sharp, demonic teeth around Nezuko. It felt like the feathers had no direct connection to her, so I had to improvise.

I've been feeling very inspired. I'm gonna give this another shot. It's been a while since I posted here ☺️ Just some doodle fanfiction. DoumaXKotoha, Hear me out, I know it's controversial, but the reason why I found this ship so compelling is because of the potential of the story and how it could've started and ended differently. It's tragic, really, how they could've been a happy family if the story took a different path😭🥺 This is an Alternative Universe Where Douma/Doma took the path of redemption, feeling something for the first time and taking a path similar to Tamayo.

Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?
You get to live the life Kotoha deserved.
Summary- You and Douma create a bond and he likes you so he decides to keep you. Hes never been able to keep a human he likes for this long. Douma experiences emotions.
Genre- Angst // Fluff
Warning- Implied death
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting hues of pink and orange across the sky, Douma's path crossed with that of a young artist named Y/N. Y/N, with her soulful eyes and creative spirit, was drawn to Douma like a moth to a flame. Unaware of his demonic nature, Y/N found herself falling deeply in love with him.
As days turned into weeks and weeks into months, Douma and Y/N's connection deepened. They shared laughter, dreams, and the beauty of each passing day.
Yet, as the seasons changed, so did the world around them. Douma noticed the subtle signs of aging in Y/N—fine lines etching her face and the strands of silver interwoven in her hair. The realization struck him like a gentle gust of wind, bringing a chill to his immortal heart. He, who had remained unchanged for centuries, was now witnessing the inevitable march of time in the one he loved.
For the first time, fear and sadness gripped Douma as he grappled with the weight of his immortality. The contrast between their destinies became increasingly apparent, like the stark difference between the fading colours of autumn leaves and the everlasting green of a pine tree.
Y/N, oblivious to Douma's internal struggle, continued to paint her visions of love and life. Douma, torn between revealing his secret and shielding Y/N from the pain he foresaw, chose to silently endure the agony of his heart breaking.
One day, as winter's frost settled upon the temple, Douma took Y/N's hands in his, looking deep into her eyes. "You may not have eternity, but I have this moment with you," he whispered, his breath forming a mist in the cold air.
As the years passed, Y/N aged gracefully, leaving Douma to witness the ephemeral beauty of a human life. In the final moments of Y/N's life, she smiled at Douma, surrounded by the memories they had created together. As her hand slipped away, Douma, left alone once again, grieving the passing of a love that had bloomed like a delicate flower, fleeting but infinitely cherished.
And so, Douma continued his eternal journey, carrying the bittersweet tale of a love that transcended time, eternally etched in the depths of his heart and soul.

Suguru Geto x Kotoha like reader...
Like hear me out--
reader is born into a powerful clan, but with little or no cursed energy, her family is disappointed, but they decide that they will keep her for her beauty and that they will marry her off as soon as she is of the right age. so it was. Reader marries young to an older man. and she's not having a good time.
Whether with the Kamo or the Ze'nin, Reader constantly suffers humiliation and beatings by her husband and her in-laws, being more of a slave to the home than a wife. but at least she manages to have a healthy and strong son (for now we will call him Haruki, literally "bright light") and in a way Reader resigns herself to her life, because at least if her son would be fine.
That is until her husband threatens to hurt her son......no no no no no NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT-
Reader finally gains the courage and strength to be able to take her son and flee from her husband's house (probably when he is sleeping) and flees as far as possible, still hurt and with her son in her arms.
She has no idea what to do, she knows that if she goes to the higher ups they will return her to her husband, where could she go?
then, similar to Kotoha (from KNY) she ends up in Geto's cult, asking for help, that at least if he doesn't want to take her in, take in her son, she begs him. and Geto is at least intrigued by this sequence of events, reader has been on the run all night, so she doesn't even think very clearly, but she has in mind the idea of protecting her son at all costs, and Geto can see what she has ( apart from a lot of bruises) cursed energy, so he decides to let BOTH in with hospitality (much to Reader's surprise).
Reader is treated for both the bruises and the fatigue, but she refuses to let go of her son, and she begs again that please, PLEASE not take her son away from her. Geto allows it, even if now the doctors have a harder time curing her. In a way, this brings a feeling of familiarity, a pleasant feeling. After all, a mother's love is the purest thing in the world, and this could be an opportunity to have a new member in the family.
Reader recovers and begins to interact with Geto and some members of the family, mainly Mimiko and Nanako, Laurie and Manami, the twins LOVE Haruki, like, a lot, they are always playing with him, taking pictures of him, trying on cute clothes and even trying to to make him say his first words.
When this happens, Geto usually has a few moments alone with the reader, drinking tea or eating, he is interested in seeing her vision of the world and, above all, what made her flee to the cult. He probably already knows it, but he wants to hear it from Reader, and when he confirms it, seeing how Reader's face turns sad, he realizes why he is so interested in a certain way.
reader reminds him a lot of himself, when he was young in Jujutsu Tech, to be exact. when he was spiraling, not knowing what to do, but then Mimiko and Nanako appeared, and he knew exactly what he had to do.
That's what he saw in Reader, a more naive and softer version of himself, who was still finding her way. Geto comforts Reader, reassures her, he knows that she loves her son very much, so she doesn't have to worry about her "husband" hurting them ever again, not now that they have a new family that loves them. It's a very soft moment and the awake of something more...deep.
Geto himself easily falls for Haruki's charms! He is a very unruly baby, he loves to chase after everything that moves, so it is not unusual to see him chasing Geto's tunic like a duck. If Geto is sitting, Haruki will go directly to him, Geto catches him before he falls and congratulates him for making it this far.
He's so cute, just like his mom. Would he say if Reader is in the room.Normally Reader just takes it as a harmless compliment to her AND her son, but each time the comments would become a little more romantic and cute in a way.
Reader and Geto spend more time together, whether for x or y reason, Geto wants to teach Reader as many things as possible, how the cursed energy works (I highly doubt they have taught Reader any of that)? gotcha! Are you curious about how curse-seeing glasses work? He gives reader a whole class about it. How does his cursed ritual work? He explains it to her and may even pull out some harmless curses to play with Haruki, and the list goes on and on.
He also absolutely LOVES when Reader sings Haruki to sleep, she sings well, but also the lyrics she sings (even if they always change) are so full of love, he can't help but hum them when he's bored or having to put up with believers.
There was a time when Haruki fell asleep on him and Reader had to sing to them both, Geto relaxed so much that he let out a pick-up line that was more...daring than normal.
-"..sometimes I think we should get married..."-
When he processed what he said he felt much more awake and was about to say something to make himself look less of an idiot, but then reader just said with some humor (and embarrassment) that "I probably wouldn't be a good wife."
Geto blinked twice before realizing, reader didn't dislike the idea of being with him, but he had to be careful where he stepped. He had the opportunity here, he had to take advantage of it.
-"I don't think so dear, you take such good care of me and the family, Haruki is a good child...you make us happy...you make me happy"-
As he speaks, Geto carefully sets Haruki down on the Tatami as he approaches Reader, ending his statement with a promise that Reader knew was VERY real. Also, I won't let anyone hurt you as long as I live.
I only imagine a kiss after that, but if you want to imagine that something +18 happened, go ahead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
and in a way, Reader being Geto's wife becomes somewhat pseudo-official, since he treats her much more openly affectionately, calling her by nicknames like darling, honey, sweetheart, etc. although one did stay like before, Songbird. Reader become more confident someway, even more cheerfull, No wonder, life finally smiles on her after so long, she has her son with her, she has a new "family" to protect her and even a husband that she REALLY loves.
But the thing is...Reader is very unaware of the plans of Geto for the Non-Sorcerers.
Yeah, she notices some Odd things like he call them "monkeys" sometimes or his little to nule contact with them, maybe it was the rose-colored glasses you wear when you fall in love that made me overlook all of this (which now that I thought about it was pretty questionable) but overall I think Reader was willing to turn a blind eye for love.
until a certain incident occurred.
It was in a night when everyone was doing other things for the "Cult" and Reader was alone with Suguru, but wake up in middle of the night and went to search for him after notice he was not in in there(leaving Haruki in bed).
...And Reader find out Suguru KILLING an Non-Sorcerer.
And Reader hides and tries to calm down, Suguru don't notice her, didn't he? And she feels a LOT of emotions, surpise, betrayal, but overall FEAR. She knew he has a thing with Non-Sorcerers but now...does that mean he would do something to her? To her son?
As a hasty and fearful decision, Reader takes her son and when no one sees, she RUNS from the cult, now having no idea what to do, she is very afraid of what is going to happen.
but then Suguru intercepts her, he doesn't seem angry at all, but rather very worried. Does Reader have any idea how dangerous it is for a Non-Sorcerer woman to go out on her own, alone, in the early morning, with a baby? It almost scared him to death.
but then Reader reproaches him that she already knows what he is doing... and she knows that he is a liar... she will not risk him doing something to her son.
NOW, I came up with two possible endings for this, one happy and one not so much.
The not-so-happy ending is a completely yandere ending, in which Suguru simply brings Reader and her son with him back to the cult no matter how scared Reader is, but at least keeps his promise intact that he would never harm them while he is here alive, but Reader would be much more isolated and would eventually give up because it is better to stay with a somewhat crazy but loving Geto than with her clan.
Reader can become happy in this Ending, but I wouldn't say entirely free, because Haruki (her son) would also probably learn Geto's yandere tendencies and unintentionally ends up being an accomplice, whom Reader obviously doesn't hate but would put a barrier between she and the child.
This Suguru just doesn't want to lose his Songbird:( and does everything possible to give a good life and have the family that Reader deserves(just not in the healtyiest way...)
and the happiest ending is one in which Reader simply sees that Geto really doesn't seem to have bad intentions towards her son or her (because NO ONE would pull such an elaborate trick to kill her) and decides to return on her own to the Suguru cult with him. turning a blind eye out of love to all the bad acts her husband does because Suguru is still a loving father and a very good husband to her, so she doesn't want to walk away even if she should. learn to love both the good and the bad of him, so to speak.
As i say, the happiest ending, Reader at first she could only do it out of a certain fear of the consequences of having "run away" but she soon realizes that no, Suguru REALLY cares about her and her son, without double intentions, without a plan behind, he only loves them because he sees them as part of his family.
Thanks to this, Reader can trust Suguru again more easily, although of course, she ends up unintentionally bringing up old reflections of when she was with her old husband, but she can easily overcome it. More when Geto is pampering her every step of the way.
As for Suguru, he couldn't be happier! He has his two families with him, his family with the Curse users and his family with Reader, who seems to tolerate his plan, which only makes him confirm his decision more. did the best.

just realised that tanjiro was a part of all the upper moon battles, even if he didnt mean to.
he actually fought against daki and gyutaro, zenitsu made his thunder breathing form based off of inosuke and tanjiro when fighting kaigaku, he reminded muichirou of his past so that he could get his mark, he actually fought against hantengu and the clones, he also fought akaza, inosuke remembered tanjiro talking about his mother while fighting douma, genya remembered tanjiro talking to him while going against kokushibo.
had to prove again that mans really is a main character.

“I’m going to eat you…” Douma sat with his legs crossed. He held the tiny, chubby, nutrient-rich infant over his mouth, his fangs glistening. He grinned, letting go of the child and letting him free fall, catching him in his cradled arms at the last minute. The child merely squealed happily. It was very amusing to him, how small and feeble humans were. He could easily devour it in one bite, but he knew that Kotoha would not be too pleased with that. And Douma simply couldn’t let such a pretty face be sullied with tears.
“You’re such an insignificant little thing, aren’t you?” Holding the boy in one arm, he ran his clawed finger down its face. If he pushed just a little harder, the child would bleed. It was hard for Douma to be delicate. The child grabbed his finger, putting it in his mouth.
Douma’s eyes widened, cocking his head to the side as he hummed in question. “Are you trying to eat me?” Douma couldn’t remember a time in his childhood where he wasn’t worshipped, so he wasn’t quite sure how normal children grew up. He grinned.
“Maybe when you’re a little older,” Douma placed his other pointer in his own mouth, piercing it with his teeth. He dangled it right above the boy as the blood welled up into a little sphere.
“I’ll share some of Lord Muzan’s blood with you, and you can live with me forever.” He whispered, eyes brightening at his idea. But he licked the blood away before the droplet fell. He sighed.
“However, I don’t think you’d survive the transformation right now.” He looked up at the ceiling, finger against his chin in thought. “You’d probably melt.” He looked down at the boy. “Right?”
The infant babbled back, making Douma smile. Humans were so much more interesting in their truest form; tiny helpless creatures. No wealth, or strength, or pride to hide behind. No pretending to be wise, or kind, or anything they weren’t. Crying when they’re hungry. Unable to function without a protector. In a way, Douma wished all of his worshippers were infants, instead of self-entitled, prideful bastards. It would make taking care of them a lot easier.
“Um, Lord Douma?” Speak of the devil.
“Yes~?” Douma set the boy down on the floor, letting him crawl as Douma laid on his stomach, watching him intently. He propped his head up on his arms. The baby crawled towards him, reaching a chubby hand up and grasping strands of Douma’s hair. He shoved the whole fist of hair in his mouth.
Toothless, and yet still trying to eat everything. What interesting determination.
Douma’s follower bowed his head. “There are people who would like to see you now.” He spoke quietly. Douma didn’t even look his way, pulling his hair away from the baby’s mouth.
“I will not be seeing anyone today.” Douma spoke casually. The man straightened suddenly.
“But sir, these people have been patiently waiting for their opportunity to meet with you-” “I must’ve not spoken loud enough.” Douma gave him a smile that should be sweet, but felt nothing like it.
He diverted his attention back to the infant, lifting him into the air. “I’ll repeat myself, I will not be seeing anyone today!” He spoke loudly, an edge to his voice that had his follower’s hand trembling. The man bowed again.
“Of course sir, I’ll let them know right away.” As the man turned to leave, he ran into a woman. She fell from the impact, the stuff in her hands dropping to the floor. The man scoffed. It was the woman taking the lord’s attention away from his subjects. Her and her wretched child.
“Get out of the way, pet.” That’s what she was, Lord Douma’s plaything for the time. Eventually he would tire of her and then throw her back out into the forest where she belonged. Before she arrived, Lord Douma never left his subjects to their own whims. It aggravated the man. Who was she, compared to him? He was one of Lord Douma’s chosen priests, spreading his words to his followers. She was just some harlot.
“Now now,” Douma’s voice licked up the man’s spine, causing his hairs to stand on end.
“That is not how we speak to lovely young women, is it?” In a moment, Douma towered over the man, standing beside Kotoha who was picking up the fruits that had been scattered across the floor. She placed them quietly into her basket.
Douma noticed her motions. “Stop moving Kotoha.” He spoke softly, but held all the command. Kotoha stilled, and Douma’s eyes slid lazily back to the man. Douma held the child against his chest. “I thought I taught my subjects how to show proper respect.” He furrowed his brows, pouting with disappointment.
The stench of fear filled Douma’s nose, and his expression faded into his easy smile. He snapped his fingers. “I know how to fix this.” He motioned one of his hands towards the ground, where Kotoha sat frozen.
“Pick them up for her,” the man stood silently. “Now.” The man dropped to the ground, hastily grabbing the basket out of Kotoha’s hands and filling it haphazardly with the fruits that were strewn everywhere.
~~~~
Kotoha watched with wide eyes as the man filled the basket with all of the fallen fruits, sitting up on his knees once he was finished. Having been with Lord Douma for over a month, she still couldn’t tell if his subjects’ blind obedience to him was out of respect for him, or fear of him. He seemed well-enough liked by them, and for as long as she’d been around him, he had been nothing but kind to her and her son.
But the situation was very tense, and even with Douma’s nonchalance, it was obvious that the man was terrified of upsetting him. “Kotoha.” There it was, that indescribable switch in his aura, when he spoke to her. She looked up at him.
“Yes, my lord?” He smiled at her. It was his most common expression. She recalled the way he had been smiling when her husband and his mother had died.
He outstretched his hand to her. “Stand up darling.” It was his nickname for her, and a part of her couldn’t tell if he used it to taunt her, to remind her of her abusive dead husband, or if it was his way of trying to make up for the loss of the man who was supposed to protect her.
She took his hand, always cool to the touch, and stood. He had her son cradled in one arm. Even with a child in his grasp, he exuded a tremendous air of power. The man bowed, head to the floor as his muffled voice rang out.
“My apologies my lord! I was not thinking, I should have treated her with the utmost respect. She is an important member of our temple-” Douma began to laugh. It was unnerving, echoing out into the silence of the room.
Kotoha touched his arm in concern. “My lord?” She asked gently.
“Why are you apologizing to me? I’m not the one you were so disgustingly rude to.” He stepped behind Kotoha, grabbing her by the arm. He lowered his face to her shoulder, voice dangerously low.
“It’s your lady you should be apologizing to.” He murmured, breath tickling Kotoha’s ear. She felt her heart pounding. The man’s eyes finally drifted to hers, wide with shock and disdain towards her. He was quiet.
“Well? Lady Kotoha is growing rather impatient.” Douma stood straight, crossing his arms. The man stared at Kotoha, slowly sinking back to the ground. “There you go~” Douma encouraged, voice barely above a whisper.
“Hashibira Kotoha, my-my lady. Please accept my apology for my deplorable behavior toward you earlier. I will not let it happen again.” His voice was strained. He had no desire to do this for Kotoha, but he did it anyways. Out of fear. Kotoha staggered a step, but Douma placed a firm hand against her back, pushing her closer to the prostrating man.
“So, what do you say darling? Do you accept his apology?” Kotoha felt his hand twitching against the small of her back. His eyes glistened menacingly, the same way they did after mutilating her husband. She knew that if she wasn’t quick with her response, something would happen to this man, something bad.
“I-I do!! I forgive him!” She blurted. She felt Douma’s hand still, his shoulders slumping as he sighed. Had he, wanted to punish the man?
He placed his hand on his hip. “Well, you heard her. Now, get out.” The man scrambled out of his way. She heard his silent thank you as he left.
~~~~
It was as if nothing had happened, the way he lifted her son into the air, giggling as the boy did the same.
“Kotoha, darling, remind me of his name again?” Kotoha smiled softly, walking behind him towards the center of the room.
“Inosuke.”
“Ah, yes. Little Inosuke. The little demon.” His nickname for her son made her giggle. She carefully took him out of Douma’s arms, cuddling him close to her face. He smelled sweet, faintly of a scent similar to the sweetness that poured off of Douma. The way plants smelled sweet to attract prey. It made her realize just how much time Douma spent with Inosuke.
“What are the fruits for?” Douma sat beside the basket that Kotoha had placed on the floor. Kotoha sank down and joined him, placing Inosuke on the floor beside her. Inosuke instantly grabbed a plum, putting it in his mouth and sucking on it. Douma stabbed one with his finger, looking at it curiously.
“Oh, I saw them at the market I visited. They were just so fresh, I had to bring some back for us.” She blushed. Douma glanced at her.
“For us?” He repeated. Kotoha nodded. “You’re welcome to eat them with us.”
Douma smirked. “I am actually quite full, but I am touched that you thought of me. In fact,” Douma scooped Inosuke back into his arms. It seemed he could not tire of her son.
“How about you eat, and I’ll spend time with the little demon.” Kotoha grinned. She was grateful for Douma’s kindness, as strange as the atmosphere was sometimes. Kotoha watched Douma take the plum out of Inosuke’s mouth, crushing it in his hand, and letting Inosuke eat the soft inside.
Kotoha could picture herself living beside Douma for a long, long time.
————————————————————————
Author’s Note: INOSUKE AND DOUMA 🥹 (I love them). And ugh, gotta love protective (ish? Since he doesn’t really have feelings? Idk man I’m working with what I got here) Douma. I hope you love this continuation of my lovely little drabble series.
Here’s Part 1, and Part 2!

🪷 Headcanon time because it hurts 🪷
Tumblr media
Kotoha was the first thing or person that ever made Douma feel.
He wanted the picture of him in others heads to be bloody and fear inducing- so to express that fact to anyone- especially to Inosuke- would be unforgivable, that’s why he played it off as just seeing her as a pretty play thing or like a decoration to easily be discarded
But that the night that he killed her and ate her he felt hate for the first time, towards himself, for keeping her around but also for taking her life
She was probably the first human to show him genuine clearheaded affection and kindness. She not only adored him for saving her from the abuse but also was infatuated with his eyes. Not to mention that the lotuses he surrounded himself with made her heart flutter.
Many of Kotoha’s nights ended with her, Douma, and Inosuke laid together. She felt safe- safe enough to close her eyes and rest. Which didn’t happen often before she met the moon. Of course Douma would get up after she fell asleep- and she knew it- but it was always enough.
Just like the way she was in love with his eyes, The green in hers was so clear and untarnished by the hate in the world that she'd been shown- he fancied looking into them often- especially when she was daydreaming and didn't notice. That's why inosuke seemed so familiar to him.
Seeing her body lay there broken and bloody was the first and last time the upper moon would ever feel anything resembling regret. And it made the hate grow. He ate her just to get her out of his sight, and left insouke to die. It could only be what they deserved for making him feel.
Hate. The most disgusting feeling- and it grew- piling up. It seemed to only grow more and more with the passing days and weeks- despising that it was the only emotion he had ever danced with. He wanted it to go away so bad. It made him claw at his face and neck it was so disgusting. A pit in his stomach. He wished he could pull the thoughts of her out of his head and freeze them until they shattered into pieces too tiny to put back together.
He didn’t love her. He grew to hate himself for what he did to her instead.
