kokichi, junko and izuru, mukuro, and tsumugi (non despair!) with an extremely unpredictable (but surprisingly smart) reader? smart as in knowing seemingly everything about everything, and unpredictable as in will build a working tank out of a plastic fork in one hour out of pure boredom

KOKICHI OUMA

when he first met you, he thought you were a normal person. he saw nothing extraordinary about you.

though, this was his mistake. he fell for your unpredictable-ness.

one morning, he walked into the breakfast room thing I FORGOT THE NAME LOL

to his surprise, he saw YOU standing next to a huge cinnamon bun which smelled really good

"WOAH! WHAT IS THAT!"

"..."

from that moment on, he KNEW you guys were gonna get along.

he took up every opportunity to bother you, hoping you would finally lash out on him

but ya never did!

he would purposely clog his toilet just to watch you unclog it with a tube of lipgloss.

and you never made a mistake?? huh??

he was so intrigued. he thought you were.So cool.

whenever he tried lying to you, you always saw through it. as much as he hated it, he was very impressed.

"there's no one quite like y/n!"

JUNKO ENOSHIMA

omg.WAHT??

im saying this because. she sensed it as soon as she saw you.

it was cold outside, you were just trying to buy a hot coffee.

all of a sudden, some SUPERMODEL grabs your shoulders and just. stares at you.

don't be intimidated! she's just trying to read you.

when she's certain you have potential, she immediately starts screaming and hugging you.

poor you 😭

"hah... uh.. everything okay..?"

"omg SO SORRY FORGOT TO INTRODUCE MYSELF!! the names junko enoshima!!"

after that, she insisted on getting coffee with you. even though you didn't know her, you subconsciously agreed.

after that day, you guys started hanging out more and more.

you also got a lot more phone calls then usual. i wonder who it could be??

"y/nnn!!!! i need you ASAP! i just dropped my favorite blush :(("

she did it on purpose

after a while, she couldn't take it anymore. she had dropped SO MANY hints that she likes you, but you just never understood!

she soon invited you to the same starbucks you both met at

"y/n, i like, really need to ask you something..."

"yeah?"

"so like... do you wanna be my s/o or wtv"

you just... sat there.

she said it so casually? but of course you said yes.

you guys lived happily ever after the end hahaha I HOPE YOU GIYS BREAK UP.

IZURU KAMUKURA

you were both regulars at a certain coffee shop, so he often saw you a lot.

at first, he saw you as an npc. he never payed much attention to you.

that is, until there was an accident at the coffee shop.

one of the blenders had exploded, and it was rush hour.

you got up from your seat and started fixing it with a straw and a toothpick.

he watched it all, he was suddenly very curious.

he had never seen someone like you, he wanted to know you better.

everyday, you would go to the coffee shop and catch up on some school work.

until... you notice a certain person sitting closer and closer to you everyday.

one day, while you were leaving, that same man tapped on your shoulder.

your first thought was that he looked a bit scary. black suit, LONG hair, and crimson eyes.

"hm? sorry, did you need something?"

"yes. i'm izuru kamukura."

he held out his hand, indicating for you to shake it.

you shook his hand "nice to meet you, izuru! my names y/n."

after that, you guys had small talk every day at the coffee shop, until the small talk turned into full on conversations.

well, you mostly did the talking. he listened, which was nice.

he would ask you to make the most random stuff, which you would actually do.

"well, how about a duck made out of pencil led?"

the next day you'd walk into the coffee shop with a duck on the tip of your pencil.

he was very fascinated.

perhaps... you were not so boring.

MUKURO IKUSABA

now this, this was definetly something.

she couldn't help but want to know more about you, but at the same time, she tried isolating herself from you.

she originally knew you because you were good friends with junko, so she was forced to listen when junko rambled about your amazing intelligence.

the only interaction you and mukuro ever had was a slight wave and a small "hey".

it started off small. instead of smiling everytime you saw eachother, she would greet you with "hello."

everything when up from there. the "hello" turned into a "hey y/n!" and a hug sometimes.

though, she had to admit, she was amazed to see you turn a box of tissues into a GENUINE bullet.

even though it didn't cut through skin, mukuro believed she had underestimated you.

she won't admit it, but she loved watching you build useless stuff out of useless objects.

whenever she asked why, you would simply state "cause i'm bored" which kind of made her even more curious.

she couldn't take it anymore. the more she thought about it, the more she wanted you in her life forever.

of course, you noticed this very fast. you just wanted to see HER do it.

soon, she finally invited you somewhere. a park. in her head, it was a perfect idea.

but umm... there were babies crying, dogs barking, and children begging their dads to play with them.

when she asked you out, you laughed and said yes.

it wasn't the most romantic confession, but it was certainly one that will be remembered.

TSUMUGI SHIROGANE

unlike everyone else, she didn't let it change the way she saw you.

you guys clicked immediatley, and quickly became good friends.

"hey y/n, wanna cosplay with me? i'll let you choose which character!"

you obviously said yes, cause, what's the worst that could happen?

well, while looking at a goku cosplay, you accidentally ripped off a few pieces of the wig.

while tsumugi assured you it was nothing, you insisted on fixing it.

instead of taking super glue... or just getting a new wig... OR REALLY ANYTHING...

you took some tinfoil, licked it, and sticked some of the pieces of hair on it.

it surprisingly... worked?

she was confused, but also AMAZED!

it takes some true talent to fix a broken cosplay like that! you were truly meant to be a cosplayer!

sometimes... JUST SOMETIMES, she would call you and complain that she ripped her sailor moon dress, and wanted you to fix it.

of course, how could you say no? you rushed to her room, took some toothpaste and a ruler, and fixed the dress completely.

your talent was AMAZING! it was so useful!

when she was certain she liked you, she just straight up asked you out.

"hey y/n, wanna go on a date sometime? i think you're really cool!"

ugh how sweet how could you say no

thank you very much for sending in a request, however, i do not write for tsukasa yugi he's actually one of my biggest discomforts, please read through my rules before requesting next time :)

- hm. its actually been a while since ive written headcanons

- it's very plausible to go the he teases you relentlessly because he's kokichi!!! route but consider. he's nice to u and only u

- it's out of character but i like it and i am the one writing so i make the rules

- kokichi is very clingy, if u don't like pda then well… be prepared to like it because he cannot go three seconds without clinging to you

- always holds your hand wherever you go, calls you silly nicknames, whatever gets you flustered, he does. ( he thinks its cute but he won't say that, he says he likes tormenting you )

- in private i think he'd be a lot less chaotic, but he still talks in riddles and doesn't say things straight a lot of the time

- lots of movie nights !! he feeds u popcorn lovingly but he also teases u abt it. pick ur battles

- sometimes u just sit together quietly in each others presence and it's really nice. till kokichi starts being annoying of course. but at least u got 10 minutes of comfortable silence

- he's surprisingly protective. since ur so shy and timid he'd speak up instead of u to defend u. it's rlly sweet actually, thank u kokichi <3

Drv3 x idv crossover headcanons{for kokichi}

Kokichi Ouma and the rest are playing in the manor game post-their game as a full dive v.r. thing.

As such some relationships are rocky at best.

The only one he trusts out of the killing game who is actually participating as well is Miu, Shuichi is being avoided like the plague.

Kaede didn't actually watch the full killing game through after her loss and assumes Rantaro was right about accusing Kokichi of being the mastermind, Rantaro is drumming up hate towards kokichi in order to have a better social standing

Not to mention everyone else but gonta and kaito outside of the games are bulling him (or simply blaming kokichi for anything that goes wrong in ryoma's case)

Now you'd think maybe maki or Himiko might be chill but nope, maki has been roped in by several other people, and Himiko just wants to fit in.

Of course this leads to kokichi hiding as much as possible. people try to find him but, they keep looking in open air areas

It almost makes sense because he was crushed to death

But that's ignoring how the strike 9 poison he had running through his system was by game lore designed to put someone through as much agony as physically possible

He was teetering on the edge of shock before it even crushed him

So naturally when he gets crushed it sends him over the shock point and HE STOPS HURTING.

One of these times he's in another weird nook in the post-game care facility and finds an envelope with a particular wax seal on it.

In the envelope a letter telling him he's invited to join a "more merciful" killing game if he so chooses

And it's promised that whether or not he wins he'll have SAFETY from all the people that have been causing him issues and setting his anxiety off on the regular.

He of course takes interest and ends up in the manor under Mike or "Acrobat"

Mike doesn't handle kokichi being less my survival first and more others survival first.

Mike then screws up by hitting him

Which sends kokichi into panic spiral of "I need to do better so I need to research."

Naib and Emma take note of his panic spiral induced absence and check up on him.

They then manage to convince kokichi to calm down and take care of himself some.

As a result of them successfully reading him completely (a first for him) and being kind to him in a more protective manner he upon waking up has decided he trusts them completely

Which is good for him because they are his alibis for something rantaro did.

Rantaro decided to drug kaede and shuichi's portion of the breakfast food and blame it on kokichi

Which immediately backfires as Naib and Emma not only go full truth and inference mode on the idiot but shuichi points out a serious discrepancy with rantaro's own alibi and Kreacher claims witness to rantaro's actions(he didn't really see anything but he refuses to let another "philanthropist" get away with essentially making everyone call Emma a liar.(he now knows the Emma=Lisa Beck thing and is trying to help make up for being a moron and not recognizing her.)

Overtime most of Naib and Emma's chaotic little network of people meet and befriend kokichi.

a/n: i really grew to love kokichi recently and he somehow sneaked his way up into my fav danganronpa characters <3

kokichi has never been in a relationship until he started dating you, yet he lies about it and pretends like he has been with countless people before you

though just based on how clumsy he is when it comes to being intimate and how quickly he gets flustered, you can guess that he was just lying about that

kokichi tries not to lie to you too much once you two start dating, since he believes you deserve honesty in a relationship, yet sometimes he falls back into his old habits

he especially starts to pick up bad habits again when he's jealous!

he gets jealous very easily, yet always lies and pretends like he isn't upset about seeing you talk to another guy

however, those guys he claims not to be jealous about end up getting teased and pranked by kokichi quite a lot for "no particular reason"

kokichi is just really protective of you, but since he can't physically do something against people he doesn't like, he has to result to using his wits and pranks to get rid of them

he can even be downright possessive! he was hesitant to fall in love but once he started dating you, he became scared of losing you again, leading to his clingy and possessive behavior

speaking of clingy, kokichi loves to cuddle with you, even if he always plays it off as a joke

out of all the ways to show affection, cuddling is his favorite one

there's nothing more intimate to him than laying on the couch with you, arms wrapped around each other and feeling so safe and comfortable that you two just end up falling asleep…

Gonta Gokuhara:

Kiibo:

I don't think I gotta do much explaining here, she is canonically in love with him, and he calls her MAKI ROLL how can I not ship them? And the complete disbelief he has that he likes him.... Ough... OUGH.

Overall atmosphere: completely in love

Shuichi about Kaito: Gradually fell in love with

Kaito about Shuichi: The homie he kisses goodnight

They completely trust each other. Kaito helps Shuichi improve himself in many ways, and helps him to believe in himself, and because of that Shuichi catches feelings for him. Kaito is fighting demons and the demons are bisexuality (he loves his bud, and sometimes he feels weird about it, but all the rest of the time he just can't believe how unbelievably lucky he is)

Overall atmosphere: Completely in love

Kaito x Kokichi

Kokichi about Kaito: Trusts Kaito n picks on him to be around him

Kaito about Kokichi: Slowly beginning to understand him

This hinges off what we learn about Kokichi in the trial where he dies. How he lies, not only to cause confusion but to protect himself as well. I fully believe Kokichi was trying to stop the killing game, as he says he got no joy from it in his final moments — and I think despite what they've been through Kaito believes that as well. Going more into my fanon, and my interpretation of this ship, Kokichi trusts Kaito completely. Like with his life— (he trusted him to carry out his plan despite everything after he was gone. And yeah he was "indebted" to him but c'mon) So he hangs around Kaito because— he just feels safe around him. And that's the only person who even... Tries to listen and understand him. So yeah, on Kokichi's end he's kinda pining. Hard. Kaito on the other hand doesn't necessarily push Kokichi away, but he doesn't fully understand him either. He makes attempts to though, and that enough for them. They'll work it out as they go.

Overall atmosphere: Tense.

Kaito X Rantaro

Rantaro about Kaito: thinks he's cute

Kaito about Rantaro: literally the chillest guy to be around

There's not much I have to say about this one. They're both just chill guys, and I think they should hold hands and maybe kiss a little ok

hot take, people don't use blunt Kokichi enough.

it's always lies covering soft tragic emotions, which i don't mind that much- hell i do it sometimes- but he's also a blunt little shit who will say it how it is whether you want to hear it or not. and i don't see that often... unless it's him pushing someone away, but that's not really the same.

Kokichi is 110% a tough love guy, he can be soft if it's necessary, but he totally prefers dropping reality on someone like an acme anvil on Wile E Coyote. i mean look at what he did to Himiko in chapter three, that's tough love baybeee.

this can also be paired with his militant vibes too, i can totally see him cheering someone up the tough love way by talking to them like a drill sergeant "get your ass up. straighten that back. put a smile on that face. shit's fucked but it's not over yet, we can make it right. and if we can't we don't just mope about it, sadness is okay but laying around all woe is me doesn't do shit for ya" type deal.

he can be soft, i love soft Kokichi, but also he should be tough too, leaders need to be tough

I feel like... KOKICHI would be so confused if you initiated physical contact with him. (that wasn't violent by any means and held no malicious intent)

Like, he dances over peoples boundaries all the time and violates their personal space for shits and giggles, but when you don't seem to mind and actually engaged in it, he's genuinely concerned. Not because you're reciprocating, but because it's him, the least likeable person in the building.

He really wouldn't know what to do with himself in that situation, he just sorta freezes. Be it a hug, headpat, or holding his hand, his response is so delayed he doesn't even register what happened until you're gone.

Please, no one approach him, he's not okay.

Probably avoids you like the plague at first because the things you make him feel is so foreign to him and definitely distracts him from his supreme leader plans.

If he's ever questioned about it, he of course gaslight and denies everything and calls you weird or something but he has a hard time lying directly to you

Thinks you have some ulterior motive and calls you out on it but you're just standing there confused.

Once he figures out you truly are no threat to him, he's in a weird position. For starters, you're not gullible to fall for or aid him in his schemes and second, you're always hanging out with him when you can so he can't get rid of you.

He thinks it's annoying at first but once he gets over his ick with his emotions, he'll constantly align himself in your presence (Because he's touch starved and wants attention) and be his clingy self again.

He'll demand piggy back rides and drag you everywhere because he can.

Definitely becomes a leech and now you're stuck with him for good, not that you're complaining.

thinks about hiring a hitman, or better, paying a gang to torture that person for days on end. he can get anything done with his money. would rather not get his own hands(too) dirty, it might cause him problems

people might suspect him at first. he'll just make something up. if they still suspect him, he gets some people(toko and makoto) to stand up for him to make his alibi believable. gets y/n to do it too(lol)

not very good at comfort. good at buying y/n things(he’s a rich boy). will buy them clothes, jewelry, chocolate. if y/n wants a hug, he’ll be hesitant, but will give in eventually(it’s not that he doesn’t want to, intimacy is strange to him). uses his free hand to cover the blush on his face ‘cause he’s flustered

“sigh… ok, calm down already. listen. they’re the foolish one, not you. they were dumb enough to think they could hurt you without a punishment. understand? good.”

mad. no. more than mad. he’s furious

hits that person in the face, making their nose bleed(in front of everybody). doesn’t want to kill them at that moment, would rather keep that impulse on hold(as much as he can) until he gets the person to a secluded area. kills them instantly, not(necessarily) the sadistic type to want to take long to see the person’s pain

knows at least enough on how to hide the murder. tries his best to play it cool to avoid any suspicion. if he’s confronted by others, he can get nervous, which can cause him to say some things he shouldn’t say. but his bro(taka) will defend him at all costs, not having a single clue of what he did

gives y/n a hug, brings them to places on his motorcycle, letting them wear his jacket. probably lets them sleep on top of him(he’ll be blushing like mad)

“it’s okay, y/n. fuck them. they’re just a fuckin’ asshole. making you feel that way and all. it ain’t your fault. they’re gonna regret ever doing that! they will.”

what? how could they do that? and to his darling y/n?

more of the type to scold the person if they did something else but this… this crosses the line for him. hurting y/n and not getting in trouble? not on his watch. kills the person even if it goes against what he stands for. someone hurts y/n, they get the worst coming to them

almost nobody would suspect him. he just seems like the type who wouldn’t kill. he just keeps on his day to day life doing his job(and his other job, which is taking care of y/n)

people will suspect him. after all, he’s known for lying. but he knows what to say, how to play with people’s minds, how to make them believe him. he can also blame it on somebody else and make it seem like it was them, not him. there may be people who still suspect him but are kind of afraid to accuse him. they don’t know what else he’s capable of other than lying

tries to make y/n laugh, brings them their favorite snacks, trash talks the person, lets them hug him if they need it(but also because he wants to be held by y/n)

𖹭 || Even before you guys started dating, he would always playfully flirt with you. But you never really took it seriously because it seemed more like he was just messing with your heart.

𖹭 || When you finally confessed to Kokichi, he didn't even react. He already knew that you liked him before you even said anything. At first, he teased you about it, but he eventually accepted your confession.

𖹭 || But don't expect him to suddenly become more honest now that you're dating. He's still a master of deception. He said that 70% of his body is made up of lies after all. If you want to be with him, you have to accept him for who he is. He's not going to change for you.

𖹭 || Sometimes he'll get really close to your face or say some flirty things, but as soon as he sees your embarrassed expression, he'll just laugh it off and back away.

𖹭 || Surprisingly, you were actually the one who kissed him first. He always teased you and pretended like he was going to kiss you, but he never actually did it, so you had to be the one doing the first move.

Part 1 of Danganronpa pairs whose vibes would make a V3 kid

This first batch I feel has the most going for it. I could probably write you multiple essays on why these V3 characters just feel like the embodiment of the parents I assigned them. Part 2 is gonna be more of a stretch...

BTW I don't really ship Kazuichi/Hiyoko, Nagito/Mikan, Imposter/Hifumi or Gundham/Chiaki but the vibes are immaculate.

A Pile Of Canon Divergent Danganronpa Headcanons:

The students absolutely did not get along when they first enrolled, they were all legit getting on each others' nerves and every other day was a shouting match.

Byakuya doesn't mind Ultimate Impostor's presence most of the time, but there have been times when he was seriously creeped out by Impostor.

After they adopted Kotoko, Hifumi collected all his loli/shotacon and invited Kotoko to help him burn it. Seeing the damage adults did to Kotoko has him rethinking his tastes in manga altogether.

If Kiyotaka catches anyone running in the halls he will drag them to that person's starting point and make them walk back to their destination.

When Gonta inevitably found out that Hiyoko liked squishing ants, he sat her in front of the biggest anthill he could find and unloaded ant facts on her. This bored the habit right out of Hiyoko.

Everyone has accidentally locked themselves out of the school at least once.

Over time, everyone noticed that Mikan was tripping over less and less. Though she attributes it to learning balance from Sakura, she subconsciously knows it's because she doesn't need the attention anymore.

Mikan wants to cure Nagito's terminal illnesses, but fears that Nagito's luck would kill him if she does so.

Mikan cares deeply for the Warriors of Hope, and is a key player in their rehabilitation.

The virtual Jabberwock Island from Danganronpa S is still there...but the students actually built it to get away from their oppressive dickhead superiors that they hate. It has the 50 day summer camp mode for all of them, or a solo mode for anyone to set a specific amount of time within the virtual world to unwind.

[Very slowly lays hand on Masaru's head as to not trigger his trauma of being slapped] This boy can fit so many cuddles and kisses.

Jataro won't just let you hug him, the little mf will let you s q u i s h him into your body with all your love and might. As long as he can still breathe he will be happy and let you hold him.

Kirumi cracks pretty easy under stress. She doesn't lash out at everyone so much as she curls up against the nearest wall and rocks herself.

Don't ask Kirumi to reenact Jackass with you, or she will absolutely overcomplicate the assignment and seriously injure herself. She does not comprehend physical comedy, much less the line where physical comedy becomes everyone around her fearing for her life.

Ryota straight up lives in the walls along with the balding Monokuma from V3. Junko and Ultimate Impostor are the only ones who know, but neither of them have been successful at getting Ryota out of his shell.

Korekiyo has been given an intervention by all the girls at Hope's Peak. It ended with eight hours of group hugging. Korekiyo is feeling better now.

Korekiyo and Kirumi have routinely fought over the air conditioning.

Masaru will bite anyone at least once, but for reasons only known to himself, he likes biting clowns the most. He will hunt down any clown that appears in his field of vision and not stop until he gets a bite.

If Gonta finds any insect traps or insecticides, he throws them down the garbage chute.

Hajime is still Izuru, but it's an open secret. His classmates love him no matter what his identity is. <3

Reserve Course students weren't so chill about Izuru, however-they wanted Jin Kirigiri's BLOOD. And the Ultimates just kinda let them do it for treating their friend as a lab rat.

One winter when the heater broke everyone slept together in the gym until it was fixed. We're talking a pile of blankets that was three feet thick.

They legit would not trade each other for the world except for Kokichi and even then Suichi would still be sad about it

Mahiru doesn't like taking pictures of Ryoma because his weirdly large eyes reflect all the light and the result always looks terrifying.

Someone kept leaving a stuffed toy clown in random places around the school...until they adopted Masaru and he promptly bit the shit out of it.

Ibuki tried playing from the rooftop once. It took 8 hours to find her, 4 hours to coax her down, and 2 hours to soothe her afterwards.

Nanokumas like to move things around when nobody's looking.

All Ultimates are prone to getting the zoomies. It ranges from Leon running around in circles to Sakura almost leveling the school.

Reserve Course students like to observe the Ultimates because Ultimates are all stupid fucking dorks and watching them accidentally stir up chaos is great entertainment.

Hope Fragments appear when a student feels their happiest. It forms within the body and gets hacked up like a hairball.

Gonta routinely has nightmares about being caught in a venus flytrap.

Fuyuhiko has become aware of Yasuhiro's debt to his family, and holds it over his head.

Peko wonders if her parents know about her becoming an Ultimate.

Junko is trying really, really hard to feign apathy towards her classmates in the name of Despair, but no one buys it.

Mukuro and Peko like to spar together, and they're pretty evenly matched.

Miu is soft (by Miu standards) towards Chihiro.

Miu becomes very anxious and needy at the mere thought of graduating from Hope's Peak and moving away from her friends.

What's that? Taking care of yourself? He's never heard of it.

He'd be rather against the idea of putting anything on his face, but he would absolutely keep you company while you do your self care routine.

If you beg him, he'd probably sigh and let you put a face mask on him.

"If it makes you happy, I guess you can."

You can probably convince him to lay down with you and watch tv, too.

You guys talk about anything and everything.

He could get used to these "self-care days".

Gonta Gokuhara

Smiles and happily agrees to spend time with you. That's Gonta's favorite thing to do!

You want to put a face mask on him? Okay!

Flinches because it's cold 🥺

He really likes the way it smells.

Wants to help you do yours, too!

He will ask you about your day. Not just to make small talk, he really wants to know!

Tell him stories or ask about his day in return and he will smile so wide.

Kiibo

He's a robot, so you probably don't need to put anything on his face. It may damage the metal!

But he will keep you company, if you'd like!

He will offer you suggestions on other things you can do to relax.

"Candles offer a relaxing atmosphere. You may also take a warm bath or get a massage!"

Will probably offer a massage, despite being made of metal.

Surprisingly does a really good job, tho.

Korekiyo Shinguji

Speaking of massages,,

This man is a massage GOD.

He somehow gets knots loose that you didn't even know were there in the first place.

He delicately applies the peeling mask to your face, leaning in extra close to make sure he gets it all.

Chuckles when you blush from the close proximity.

Will also braid your hair. If you have short hair, he gently brushes it for you.

This man knows about self care.

Rantaro Amami

He's so good at this.

If you ask him to paint your nails, he will light up. He would love to!!

Especially if you're nervous/embarrassed. He adores when you're flustered.

You're just so cute~

He will tease the living shit out of you.

He will also do face masks with you!

When you tell him you need a self-care day, he absolutely takes it seriously.

You two listen to quiet music and talk about your talent, his adventures, media you like, anything and everything.

Kokichi Ouma

First of all, why would you think this is a good idea?

Self care and this little gremlin do not mix. Self care is supposed to be calm and relaxing, and Ouma is, well, the exact opposite of that.

I think the best thing he can do for you on self care days is just... leave you alone, to be honest.

But if he's around, here's what he'll do:

He asks about everything you do. What it is, why you use it, what does it do, can he try it?

Tells you that you look funny with a face mask on, then asks if he can use some, too.

Wants to put on a sheet mask and hide somewhere to scare Gonta.

You have to keep him from doing that.
