Can you do the Hashiras with a male s/o who uses Mirror Breathing (it allows the user to copy other Breathing Styles) please?

Warnings: None

Pairing: Uzui, Gyomei, Muichiro x male!reader

Note(s): I'm not going to write headcanons of every pillar because that would mean one short line per character instead of my usual 3-4 headcanons per character. I hope you don't mind it!

Uzui

» There's only one word Uzui needs to use when he sees you use the mirror breathing technique for the first time, and it's that he's impressed. He's the only known sound breathing technique user, so seeing you make the same moves he does so flawlessly is outstanding.

» You'll get praised to the moon and back once when you two had dealt with that one pesky demon that made you fight in front of Uzui in the first place! He's not afraid to tell you how proud he is and how happy he is to have you as his boyfriend.

» Seriously, he won't stop talking about you and what you did to the other pillars, and that continues so long that even Gyomei had to ask Uzui to tone it down because they knew how much he loved you and how amazing your breathing technique was.

Gyomei

» While Gyomei is definitely impressed, he's more than worried about you if you're small or frail in any kind of way because rock breathing technique is hard to master, and it's even harder to be able to use it because it takes a lot of strength from its user.

» He won't stop checking on you after the coast is clear, and he's not afraid to carry you to the closest wisteria crest even if you tell him again and again that you're alright. (And it's honestly sweet of him!)

» Gyomei might let you use your mirror breathing technique on him again after some time, but even then, it's not 100% sure if he's actually going to let you do that or not. He wants his boyfriend to be safe and healthy!

Muichiro

» Muichiro is an airhead (I love you, son, no hard feelings), so he didn't realize what kind of moves you were making before he recognized that you were using the mist breathing technique.

» He's pretty weirded out by it in the beginning, especially because he doesn't remember anything about you mentioning this to him. (You did tell him about this, but he forgot about it in a few minutes.)

» Still, though! He's happy that you two can share a breathing technique because it makes training with each other a lot easier as well! It's easy to find mistakes in your technique when there's a person literally mirroring them from you.

Author's note: I hope you enjoyed these headcanons! I've been jumping all over the place in real life, so I haven't had a chance to pay too much attention to this blog, which I'm sorry about.

Shinjuro held you in the air and examined you. Kyojuro left you with his father while he and senjuro went to the market.

Leaving you with a former Hashira wasn't a good idea in hindsight but who would kill a child.

"Half human half demon huh?" He muttered to himself as he watched you move in his arms.

He lowered you to where you were nestled on his chest and he laid back.

Shinjiro and kyojuro came back to see you and their father asleep on the floor in your room.

Giggles could be heard in the Tengen ousehold as it was dinner time.

Tengen was rolling on the floor with you as the girls made dinner.

"Hope the both of you worked up an appetite." Hina came in giggling at her husband on his back with you on his stretched-out feet.

"Ahh lord Tengen you have to be careful with them. They're just a child." Suma came in fusing over to pick you up

Obanai didn't know how to take care of a child so he went to the closest person he knew, Mitsuri.

"Aww look how cute Obanai they eat human food." She gushed as she feed you.

Obanai watched in adoration as he couldn't help but think about how good she is with kids (people in general)

"Cool." Such a shallow response that held back everything he actually wanted to say.

If only he could tell her. (😭)

"What am I supposed to do with you." Sanemi muttered as you crawled all over your temporary bedroom (a small room he didn't know what to do with).

"what do you eat?" He kneeled down to your height. You crawled up to him, using his knees to try and stand.

He poked your stomach causing you to lose balance and fall. You stared up at him, He stared down at you.

you started to huff.

'oh no' the thought 'they're gonna cry'

and cry you did. You screamed your lungs out as he tried everything to calm you down. He even tried to feed you his blood, which only made you scream louder.

He got you to calm down by giving you Ohagi. Turns out you love it almost as much as he does.

"Time to go to bed Y/n." Giyuu said as he watched you play with your toys for like two hours.

You turned to him before giggling. Unfortunately for Giyuu, you knew how to run. You stood up and got ready for an unwanted game of tag and hide n seek.

"Don't even try, It's time for bed." Giyuu also got ready as this isn't the first time this happened.

In fact, this happens most nights and Giyuu is always the winner.

You ran out of the room with Giyuu close behind you. You rounded the corner at full speed. Too much speed. You hit the wall. Giyuu was quick to pick you up.

"This is why we don't run in the house." He comforted you by rubbing your head and bringing you to your room. You were asleep in his arms as he laid you down.

All Muichirou wanted to do was train but since you were assigned to him his attention was all on you.

Currently, the 2 of you were having a staring contest as you both ate. You copied his movements, and he would just watch.

You never cried, screamed, or made much noise. You and Muichirou got along great.

He brought you to every Hashira meeting and he let you do your own thing.

"Bu" you called to Shinobu from the pin she put you in. It was the only word you could say.

She looked up from her work over to you. You were standing holding on to the bar of the pin.

"Ah someone finally awake." She set her work aside and went to check on you.

"Bu Bu" You squealed as she picked you up.

"I'm here. I'm here."

You were the only reason she never worked herself to death.

» While Muichiro might be an airhead (Sorry, but it's true!), I still believe that he would enjoy roleplaying games, especially Dungeons And Dragons because he loves how the game works and how interesting it can get every now and then!

» I would say that it's a good thing that he's extremely calm because he can help you balance out your life, especially during those times when you feel like you can't focus at all.

» Another noteworthy thing to mention is that Muichiro loves cats and cuddles (even though he doesn't seem like it), so having cuddle sessions with him (and your kittens) is something you do every night before going to sleep!

And Gyutaro!

» I don't know why but there's something about (modern) Gyutaro that tells me he and you would get along together, especially over roleplaying games (headcanon: He met you for the first time in an online RPG!)

» He doesn't understand your love for writing, but that doesn't mean that he won't be ready to read through them. He's actually scarily good at spotting mistakes you might've done along the way, so he's a good beta-reader if you ever need one.

» Gyutaro's also surprisingly soft with your kittens. He pretended to hate them at first, but you could always hear him talk to them when you left the room!

semi accurate cat size chart on paper except i don't know how big / small cats are supposed to be so the drawings are probably innacurate but the descriptions could be a helping tool idk i just wanted to draw a lotta cats for no reason

if you can't read my funky handwriting :

koku : large . looks fat , but is actually 100% fluff . normal weight . an actual fucking pillow ?!

douma : also big . chunky AND fuzzy . wide n short . stubby paws . a bit smaller than koku .

kyou : slightly big , a little bit chunky . he gotta fit all that umai food somewhere . nothing much to say tbh ..

akaza : a bit on the smaller end . a little skinnier too . he may be tiny but he's still very fierce .

koyuki : little !! normal weight . also pretty young so that's why she's pocket sized .

tokitous : literally kittens . not even adults yet . small . normal weight . squishable kitties ,

One of my favorite things to write as a writer is making up metaphors and similes about a characters’ element/biggest trait they have.

Kai? Let me make a comparison over fire and his temper.

Muichirou? His forgetfulness and the mist concealing something beyond the lines of comprehension suits him best.

Koko? Money being as materialistic as his desires of letting Inui live happily whilst he continues on the delusion of paying off Akane’s medical bills? Depressing, but hey, it works!
