I practiced this method of reverse knitting ever since I watched a video about entrelac knitting. it's because I hate purling!

i felt so POWERFUL when i finished this top muahahaha 🤣😂 a while ago a 1940s vintage pattern popped up on pinterest that i wanted to knit. i heavily modified it, used my sewing patterns as a reference for each piece, and changed a few things, but i think it worked? ☺️ *happydance*

After about five months, I picked up my Neon shawl again to finally knit the edge. If everything goes well, I "only" have 19 more tips to knit in each color ... Injecting a splash of colour with this week's knit swatch... The Two-Colour Loop Stitch is super simple, rewarding and beginner-friendly.

The loop effect is achieved by mostly knitting, some purling and simply slipping lots of stitches.

I have some basic rules when knitting. I never take requests, only making what brings me joy. I frequently vow to never write my own pattern. I plan everything I make in advance, never just hoping I just happen to have the right yarn to make it all work.

Broke all the rules with these beauties. Some people are just worth breaking them for.

DEEP DIVE VEST from my Vivacious Vests collection. A hand knitting pattern for vest or slipover knitted bottom up in the round, then split at the underarms, knit back and forth, joined at the shoulders with plunging V-neck binding added in gradient colour. I realized I didn’t have enough yarn to complete a project. The LYS where I’d bought it was sold out. I ordered two more skeins online and figured I’d work out how to blend it in and make a color change look intentional.

It came today and … friends. It’s the exact same dye lot. 🤯
