If any other man approached he'd find something to say about him
Faking politeness was easy for him, it was scary to watch
But he was never fake with you
Started inviting you on horseback rides when he got some status as a respectable knight
His mood would shift depending on your reply
Yes, and he was sunshine incarnate for the rest of the week, no and he'd grow colder even towards you, giving you one word anwsers and polite bows when adressing you
It was no secret that he was in love with you, you heard whispers and rumors of it through the castle
The longer you took to return his feelings the more reckless he became
More dangerous routes, taking on more tasks, more tournament fights
Fights where he would get hurt and keep going until he collapsed under the weight of his armor
He knew you worried for him, that's why he had to keep going, he had to show you the depth of his devotion and love
Quite possibly the most adrenaline driven knight in the castle, although he will claim it's his love for you that keeps him going
Will prove himself worthy of marrying you, no matter what, this he swears to you
The promise is sealed the only way he knows how, with a kiss on your hand
If he wins the King's favor then he's sure he can win yours too
You will be happy with him ruling by your side

I like the idea that if camlan never happened and everyone lived happily every after, when arthur figured out merlin has magic he decides to repeal the ban on magic. And people realise why. Shortly after its been repealed, people start asking merlin to ask the king for things, on behalf of himself.
E.g “hey arthur, I think maybe we should plant more flowers around the town” “i think it would be a good idea to move the knights training to midday.” “Arthur I was thinking maybe the kitchen could do with new supplies”
And every time arthur agrees, sure he might pick the ideas apart or pretend they were his own ideas but everyone quickly learns that if you want something, you dont ask the king, you ask merlin.

Danny met dick when he was still a pile of angry let's murder
They were about the same age and Danny was super supportive of said murder
They staid semi in contact and when they are both older Danny decides he was going to go to gotham, tells dick about it who agrees to meet up
So Danny goes to the mansion and meets dick and his family, but specifically damian
"Aw, he's as murderous as you were!" Danny laughed as he witnessed damian try to stab tim "you still got the murderous urges or?"
Before dick could reply, Jason, who was just watching from afar, smacked his hands on the table "I told y'all! I said he was murderous too and no one believed me!"
Turns out, dick has been trying to hide said murder moments and Jason, the only one who witnessed parts of it, has been gaslight for the past years but now! Now he has help! They will expose him together!
