Hi, hello there~ Are you still accepting unhinged asks? If so, in the nudity comfort scale – ranging from “occasionally engages in streaking, as enrichment” to “s/o won't see his ankle until at least three years into the marriage” – how would you sort the 501st (or your favorite squad!)?
Abso-fuckin-lutely I’m still accepting unhinged asks!! Gimme! (I’ve been feeling pretty grimy these last couple days, so writing anything series is fighting me a bit. This was a perfect little escape! Thanks!)
I know you said “or” my favorite squad… but why not both? (well, ish. This was already pretty much answered for CF99 in the fresher question, so we’ll ignore them)
501st
Tumblr media
Rex – Oh this man is very hesitant to take the next step. Courteous to a fault, when things get steamy for the first time, he’s constantly pulling back until you gently guide his hands to your shirt, and you’ll likely need to be the one to start tugging at his clothes, too. He’ll just worry he’s overstepping unspoken boundaries or moving too fast. After the first time that tension gradually eases, though. He isn’t likely to stroll naked and proud through your home anytime soon, but he may join you in the shower, and, if you ask nicely, he might start leaving his shirt off at night.
Tumblr media
Echo – Okay, he’s not a prude. Really. He just makes sure to let you take the first step. Once your intentions are clear, however, he’ll readily pull his shirt off knowingly watching your face for the coming flush of appreciation. He’s not nearly as cocky as his twin, but he knows he looks good. While he isn’t likely to surprise you with a wealth of exposed skin throughout the day, he quickly figures out what seeing him walking around topless does to you and uses it to tease you on occasion.
Post Citadel – Much less confident. The first several times you get him undressed, you’ll need to shower him with constant reassurances that he’s still gorgeous, and even after, he’ll still have moments of doubt. His body is different. There’s no dismissing that. Just be patient with him. He deserves it, and he’ll eventually start to believe just how much you still love him.
Tumblr media
Fives – He’s naked when you meet him. So’s Heavy. Don’t ask. Once you two get serious and if you’re receptive, he has no qualms in shedding the layers of armor and cloth, shameless of the body he’s proudly developed into stunning perfection. And for the life of you, there’s not a single argument to be made against it.
Tumblr media
Hardcase – In his defense, he really thought Fives had taken his blacks, so ripping them off the arc seemed justified at the time. Of course, it wasn’t until later he realized he’d forgotten them on his bed… Aside from that initial mishap, however, he’s quite pleased with his physique, so he’s very eager to flaunt it. Constantly. So much so that you’ve taken to shouting a warning when you get home if you’ve brought anyone with you just in case he needs to cover up…
Tumblr media
Jesse – He lounges in shorts and nothing else. It’s not even a sexual thing, he just likes relaxing like that. Give him the slightest encouragement, however, and that little garment goes flying across the room and he’ll have you in his arms before it hits the floor.
Tumblr media
Kix – Medics are born without a care in the world about nudity. His. Yours. That drunk gungan at 79s. That being said, he’s not going to just strip the instant the door closes behind him. Undressing in itself is an act of intimacy, and he’s eager to savor that with you when you’re both ready for it. This man eases the clothes from the both of you like he’s unwrapping a precious gift, fingers slow and full of patient intent, lips smirking at your every gasp. He treasures the closeness of those moments, so isn’t likely to lessen them with casual nudity.
Tumblr media
Tup – He really doesn’t even think about there being anything promiscuous to not wearing a shirt. I mean, he was practically raised by Fives and Hardcase, so that’s just a part of life. When he sees you noticing him the first time he casually goes about bare chested though, he’s simultaneously embarrassed and pleased. He’ll apologize and offer to cover up. Don’t say yes. Don’t you dare. You worship that sweet man like the treasure he is. He’ll be a bit more aware of being dressed around you afterwards but is happy to change that by your request.
Tumblr media
Dogma – You don’t even get to see his arms until after marriage. Is it worth it? Yes. Does he damn near have a meltdown when you take off your shirt? Also yes. It’s almost concerning. After two or three nights, however, he actually calms down pretty quickly. But only with you.
104th
Tumblr media
Wolffe – He doesn’t really flaunt like, say, Fives and Hardcase. Flaunting implies there still being a need to attract you. He knows you want him. There’s no shame or really even thought given to underdressing – it’s just a step he needs to get through in order to take you like you’ve been begging him to all night. You undressing, however, is something else entirely. He goes perfectly still, watching you utterly enraptured. Seeing you bare is something he’ll never get used to. While he doesn’t feel the need to try to lure you to bed by showing skin, if you wander about in, say, shorts and a tanktop, he’ll forget whatever he was doing and just stair at you with that hunger in his eyes until you notice him. Then it’s only a question of if he takes the time to get you to the bedroom first when there’s a perfectly good countertop right there…
Tumblr media
Sinker – It depends on his mood, honestly. If he’s feeling good, he’ll go about shirtless feigning ignorance to what it does to you. If he’s not in a great headspace though, he’ll barely let you ease him out of his armor to snuggle up next to him even though he knows it’ll make him feel better. This man has a lot going on in that head of his, so being adaptive and patient is a must.
Tumblr media
Boost – He’s a goofball through and through. He’ll go about in his skivvies like he forgot to put on pants just to see you blush. “Oh noooo, oops; how long has that been like that? I’m so embarrassed.” And then proceeds to not put pants on.
Tumblr media
Warthog – Similar to Jesse, he likes to lounge about in shorts when he’s relaxing. It’s not meant to mean anything – he’s just comfy. But if he notices you looking at him? Yeah, he’ll flex and flash you that little smirk, then laughs when you blush which only makes you want him even more. He’ll tease you about being caught staring at him like a piece of meat, but he loves it.
Tumblr media
Comet – This sweet man is very much like Echo in this regards. He knows you love to look at him, but he doesn’t use that to try to get your pants off as quickly as he can. He’s far more eager to make sure the lead up has you both desperate for each other before even taking his shirt off. He’s in no rush and wants to savor every second with you. He’ll absolutely snuggle naked with you afterwards, though. He’ll even fall asleep like that, which is just such a shame come morning…

Hi everyone,
Sorry it’s been so long, I’ve been having some writers block. I’ve been trying to work on the block by drawing some fanart that I’ll post on my main @mabrego0714
Here are my WIPs I’m working on IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER so comment/reblog if you have a preference:
—Arcane Sisters of Mine fic Chapter 5
—Bad Batch AU—Jedi OC
—Game of Thrones/Jungle Book crossover
—Clone Wars Clone One-Shots (Day in the Life Of series, Shinies, etc)
—Delta Squad Reader Insert fic
I actually started getting writers block around the midpoint of Ahsoka. I hadn’t really had high hopes but it really fell short for me. I won’t get into it in this post, but because of my dissatisfaction with the show, my faith in Disney Star Wars has fallen. While I did think Rebels was more ‘kid-oriented’ at first, I didn’t hate it and I even grew to love it as a young adult (iirc Rebels is Disney’s first SW content). The Sequel trilogy should’ve been a wake up call.
Then, Clone Wars Season 7 was announced. I thought the animation was beautiful (aside from the horrendous clone model), and the soundtrack/music is incredible. That being said, I have some major problems with the story(ies). I liked the ideas but not the execution.
The Bad Batch’s intro is a perfect example.
It’s clear that the group is quite different in CW S7 than in their own show (which I won’t get into rn since those that have seen my previous posts know I hate tbb). In TCW, they are introduced as a unique clone squad that all have enhanced senses. They are shown to be disobedient and disconnected from the other clones, which makes absolutely no sense. They appear different to the ‘regular’ clones who have a derogatory nickname of ‘regs’. Their mission is to save a ‘reg’ clone who we (the audience) thought was dead: ARC Trooper Echo.
We see Rex’s loyalty to his men through his faith that Echo is alive. Despite being clones, Rex KNOWS the sound of Echo’s voice because of how long he’s served with him. Because of their prejudices, The Batch is skeptical and Crosshair, the sniper, even taunts Rex about Echo’s death. Despite being in the wrong, Wrecker, CF99’s weapons expert and largest of the group, defends Crosshair and attacks Jesse for defending Rex. That clearly set up a good group character arc of learning that all clones are brothers, not just the ones closest to you. At the end of Echo’s story, we learn that CF99 offers him to join the squad and he accepts (despite the group looking down on Echo and judging him once rescuing him).
We don’t learn until TBB that what little progress, if any, towards having a good relationship with clones is gone.
Next we learn about where Ahsoka’s been since walking away from The Jedi Order. It’s assumed she’s been hiding on the lower levels of Coruscant surviving. Her story opens with her speeder bike dying and her falling onto a garage platform belonging to the Martez sisters. Lots of people dislike the Martez sisters story arc due to their attitudes and behaviors. While I don’t hate them like a lot in the fandom seem to, they aren’t my favorite characters and I thought there were a lot of better stories that could’ve been told with Ahsoka.
That brings me to Ahsoka’s character. I get that people change over time and she was obviously still hurt by the Jedi Order, specifically the Council, but I didn’t like how easily she partnered with Bo Katan in the finale and sided with her cause given Bo’s history. She easily dismissed her relationship with Anakin (and Rex to an extent) despite her recognizing everything he did for her. But other than that, I loved Ahsoka meeting/fighting Darth Maul and the O66 moment for her and Rex was so tragic.
I loved the clones but I thought one person would’ve made it next level good: Kix, the 501st medic. I know in Legends he was frozen in carbonite/hypersleep or something and was woken up by pirates about 50-60yrs later, making him the last clone since the others have accelerated aging (aside from Boba/Omega). But I would’ve loved to see Kix either with Ahsoka and her 501st half or at least mentioned about being with Anakin and his 501st half.
So while I generally enjoy CW S7, I definitely prefer making my own interpretation and looking at fan-made art/stories.
Because I enjoyed the animation and music of CW S7, I was excited to see another show that has the same animation about clones: The Bad Batch. This is definitely one of those shows that has great ideas but the execution actually hurts it. They are shown to have lighter skin than the rest of the darker ‘regular’ clones and they all think they are superior to the other clones but especially Crosshair. Again, I won’t get into it, but TBB is a dumpster fire of racism and horrible story telling.
I definitely prefer the live action shows, but even then it’s hit or miss. Like I said, OWK and Ahsoka fell short for me. However I love Andor, Mando and TBoBF.
Which finally brings me to the upcoming Star Wars content animated and live action. SPOILERS—YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
First, the Mandalorian movie. I’m more hesitant about this movie despite my love for the show but that’s mostly because of Ahsoka. I didn’t like how Ahsoka was handled and because it left on a cliff hanger, I’m sure it’ll tie into the Mandalorian movie with Thrawn probably taking the role of the villain. I don’t think I really have any expectations other than it’s not bad, though Felony will helm the project so I’m not holding my breath.
Second, the Rey Skywalker movie. I definitely think Disney knows how badly they messed up with the sequel trilogy and will try and redeem Rey’s character. I think it’s an interesting premise. She knows Luke, who had a failed Jedi school, and she chooses to do the same, knowing it could fail like Luke’s but chooses to do it anyway. I’d love for this movie to show a new villain instead of Palpatine/Sith. I could see more Dark Jedi or even Night Sister magic being the main conflict instead.
Next, the James Mangold Star Wars movie. Supposedly it’s set thousands of years in the past and will focus on the first Jedi. I think that’s an interesting topic and a great chance to form new ideas as well as bring in Legends/EU content. However, with the mixed reviews of Indiana Jones 5, I’m tempering my expectations accordingly.
I know Taika Waititi has a Star Wars movie coming out as well but idk anything about it other than he wants to have original characters (which I think is good).
I think Shawn Levy has a Star Wars movie coming but again, no details about it since he’s been busy with Stranger Things S5 and Deadpool 3.
I believe Rian Johnson also has a trilogy set in a new place the lore has never explored before but I don’t think this trilogy is coming any time soon.
I believe that’s it for movies so over all I’m hesitant, but that’s because I need more info.
Now for the shows. I’ll start with the new ones.
Lando will obviously focus on Lando Calrissian played by Donald Glover. There’s no info about any idea of when the series will take place but I kinda hope it’s like right before the sequel trilogy.
Skeleton Crew has a good concept of a Jedi in hiding finding 4 Jedi kids and as long as it doesn’t get too family friendly and the writing is good I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. I’ve always thought this was the story they should’ve told with the Jedi Younglings in TCW arc.
The Acolyte is about the growing dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era (~200yrs before TPM). It seems like a noir-detective style show (like AotC) with a Master/Padawan duo investigating a series of crimes. It seems pretty cool and I’m excited for it.
I’m hoping Mandalorian S4 will be better than S3. I really want Din to call Grogu his son. Not his kid, not his boy, but his SON. SAY IT.
Definitely looking forward to Andor S2 the most. I thought Andor was slow at first and a bit complicated due to how many characters are introduced, but I loved the story and the actors had the passion that made their roles believable.
I could not care less about The Bad Batch S3. No matter what happens, I definitely prefer fandom ideas/my own headcanons. I MIGHT binge watch the season once all eps are out but I will NOT be watching on episode release days.
That brings me to the planned animated Clone Rebellion show. I’m assuming it’ll be the same CW style set after TBB S3 and focus on Rex (and possibly Wolffe+Gregor) which leads me to believe we won’t get much in the way of the clone rebellion in TBB S3. If this show uses the same damn clone model I will cut out Disney Star Wars. I don’t mind making my own stories/AU’s/etc, but Disney in general is on thin ice as it is.
Thanks for letting me get all that out. This is basically why I haven’t been writing. I’ve been pretty disappointed with Disney as of late due to their horrible live action remakes, mid-level animated movies like Elemental, Strange World, Lightyear and mediocre SW content.
If you’ve made it through this whole post, thank you for your time and I promise I will post something soon.

In one of their posts, @darkcybertron asked a very important question: "(...) where’s the au where the bad batch finds kix instead of the crimson corsair’s crew.”?
I’m concurring the question!
Where is it?

uff.... that file sat on my hard drive for a WHILE.
the idea of Dead Caff is something @kalm5 and I came up with some time ago, as a form of a recurring joke/gag, kind of twisting the idea that CF99 is more self-sufficient than most GAR units due to their long missions that are, more often than not, back-to-back.
so...
Crosshair is CF99's barista. One of Crosshair's strongest brews was dubbed as Dead Caff - it's extremely bitter, but keeps any clone awake no matter what.
Hunter has affinity for pickling things. He is the most proud of the concoction he calls Dead Juice - which is proven cure for a hangover. The catch is the thing is so nasty in taste and smell that many prefers to just suffer the consequences of excessive drinking than taking a sip of the stuff -> [LINK] <-
Wrecker is a moonshine expert and many clones (especially YA cadets) seek his booze for illegal parties at Kamino... not only that, but Wrecker used his concoctions for warfare.
So we have a trifecta: booze -> hangover cure -> caff that make a person stay awake no matter what.

so... I know that many of you love the Kix is CF99 unofficial medic.
So let me introduce to you something @kalm5 and I were brainstorming - merging two AU ideas of ours into one “bigger idea”.
We kind of have this set-up with Order 66 didn't happen/was delayed indefinitely (+no-one dies + Ahsoka leaves the Jedi Order for a person she loves).
After the mission on Skako Minor, Anakin REALLY wants to have Clone Force 99 to be a part of 501st so he tries to get a hold of their general/commanding officer to BEG for a transfer.
He is so impressed, in fact, the Chosen One just geeks about them every chance he gets - even during dinners with Padme.
After an investigation (and bribing Cody to spill the beans on who is in charge of the Batch) Anakin absorbs Clone Force 99 to 501st.
After the merge CF99 still operates per usual – they have a free range to have any insane mission they’d normally do, but they serve under Anakin Skywalker. Sometimes The Batch don’t even feel the difference with exception of submitting reports to the Chosen One or doing specific missions that might or might not involve being body-guards of senator Amidala.
With that setting we add Kix to The Bad Batch ranks as their team medic. He was half-chosen by Anakin/half-accidentally becoming The Batch’s medic as those guys need just as unhinged medic as they are as a team. Thus he gets new set of armor that it's the mixture of CF99 color scheme/armor design and 501st blue (he keeps the OG helmet, tho, as it’s the most comfortable for him and also it has a medical software that CF99 helmet lacks). Instead of making a „standard” red stripes for his armor, like the rest of this *new* team, Kix decided to re-do his 501st paint-job but add CF99-red-hue splash on top to mimic blood splatter. It's for both: not making his team freak out they're bleeding to death and also so he can mask his own injuries so they'd not make him prioritize his own injuries over theirs.
Kix freaks out Jesse every time they're back to 501st to resupply or submit paperwork, but also the medic, secretly enjoys ARC trooper’s insisting to check if he is truly alright.
To honor the transfer CF99 got a blue accent in their armour as well.
---
EDIT: I forgot Hunter’s tattoo :O

This is one of the older ideas I’ve came up with @kalm5.
We concur the widely accepted fanon that Wrecker’s muscles hurt/ache almost on daily basis, but we’re kind of on the fence if it’s more due to his mutation taking a toll on his frame or is it him not taking proper care of his body.
after Echo’s rescue, Kix gets suspicious about Wrecker’s condition - the guy lifted a freaking ship in the air, mauled waves of droids, threw several people in the air, caught his falling comrade mid air while handing up-side down by one leg and after all of that he is fine? He ain’t buying that!
Kix assign Wrecker some tests and once the results came back - the field medic visibly pales - Wreck, in theory, shouldn’t be able to lift his arms yet this man thinks he can lift a Gonk droid as a form of warm-up!? not on Kix’s watch!
Wrecker admitted his body hurts often and pretty bad, but he kind of try to forget about it. It’s not that bad when he wears his armor (as it turned out, by coincidence, it acts like a medical corset/back brace). Once Wrecker is just in his blacks - it’s entirely different story.
When Wrecker is in too much pain, he just tries to sleep it off (it seems to be a recurring theme with CF99) mostly due him hating needles but also he is aware he needs a lot of painkillers and often. The problem is they get the same amount of medical supplies as every squad so if he takes appropriate dose, someone else’s gonna end up in pain.
Kix send Crosshair a death glare to NOT comment about the colorful tapes, braces on joints and heat patches covering most of Wrecker’s body when the sniper came to medbay for visit (Crosshair said it was a visit but Kix knew about his optometrist appointment because he signed the sniper for it himself) - it took Kix forever to convince Wrecker to let him put all that on to alleviate his pain.
CF99 knew Wrecker had issues, but not that they are THIS bad. The guys make a silent pact to make sure Wrecker always sleeps in a cot while on Havoc Marauder (never on the chair!) and make him sleep in a hammock when possible and a proper bed is unavailable.
---
I’m aware of various stances there are about Therapeutic Tape and the discourse whenever they work IRL or not. I’m not a doctor, just an (fan)artist. But from visual standpoint you have to admit KT looks kinda cool and futuristic.
So for the sake of this AU, let’s all establish that space!Kinesiology tape works in SCI-FI setting.
I mean... Star Wars have bacta, for Force sake!

another installment of Kix becomes Clone Force 99 unofficial medic.
There is a consensus amongst fans/fanon that Crosshair has to have some sort of eye problem(s).
I think he has recurring and painful subconjunctival bleedings.
Crosshair fights with the rest of CF99 every time he has to use eye drops - it’s almost impossible for him to have his eyes opened during application of the medicine. Wrecker, more often than not, has to put him in a headlock for someone else to pry his eyelids open.
It leaves the Bad Batch baffled how Kix does it so... efficiently.

Hey, so I'm absolutely feral about your "Kix is the bad Batch's honorary medic" idea. Like, I think about it constantly and I want to pick your brain about it. When did he start working with them? During the mission to Anaxis or some point before or after? Is he primarily there for Echo or is it more of an all consuming compulsion to mother hen the Batch because "those boys have never eaten a vegetable in their life and their ship is a flying OSHA violation"? Does he have any particular feelings towards Tech, given Tech's refusal to wear more than the absolute minimum amount of armor?
to be honest... now I’m more curious what’s YOUR take on "Kix is the bad Batch's honorary medic" than writing my side of things! Let’s compare notes later?
(as the text turned out to be longer than I expected, the full answer is under the cut/read more)
Their relationship started after Echo joined Clone Force 99. The Batch didn't know full scope of his issues when the transfer was made. The medics at med-bay were complaining, once again, The Bad Batch don't have a team medic, and their files are a mess but Hunter just shrugged it off - they always been that way so why NOW would it make any difference?
Everything was fine and dandy for a mission or two then, one day, Echo got sick... like... hardcore - started with a stomachache/nausea ended with him loosing consciousness.
Clone Force 99 collectively freaked out - they ALWAYS have problems with getting treatment. Afraid Echo would end up without any assistance, Hunter ordered to hunt Kix down, spec-ops style, as he remember he saw someone from 501st at the cafeteria during breakfast.
Why Kix? well... he was the only medic that the team kind-of, sort-of remembered (not a name, though, just the armor markings and... it’s mostly Crosshair’s memories, as he literally threw hands with the guy few weeks prior). Also Hunter was sure Kix wouldn’t let his old friend die so maybe he would be less aloof when they ask for help. Echo, Hunter reasoned, would be less stressed once he wakes up and sees a familiar color scheme of his alma matter legion.
So after a quite a bit of search, they found their target and basically abducted Kix from under the shower.
Since Echo's issues weren't combat-related and Kix lost access to his files with the transfer to different unit, the medic had to get authorization from Hunter to view them. Since the sergeant barely, if ever, grands access to medical files, he gave the medic blanket access to Clone Force 99 files by accident...
As the medic was waiting for Echo to wake up, he started going through the files out of curiosity. With every page he grew more confused how the kriff they were even approved to go on any mission (SPOILER: it’s Tech’s handiwork):
Except for Echo they all have incomplete/ outdated vaccinations (Wrecker being the worse offender)
the status of their medical supplies was big red PENDING (so Force only knows if they even have a scrap of a bandage on the ship)
except for Echo they were missing health check-ups (however as it turned out they are pretty good condition as they hunt animals and gathered resources/vegetables/fruits when they run out of rations. something they do pretty frequently as often have no time to resupply between missions)
they had incomplete/ outdated trainings (i.e.: mostly those that have to be taken annually like First Aid)
except for Echo pending annual dentist check-ups, ophthalmologist check-ups (Crosshair being the worst offender), missed/ unfinished rehabilitation sessions (mostly Wrecker) and such
except for Echo backlog of unapproved sick leaves
... among other issues and problems
... as it turned out, their issue with med-bay boils down to a vicious cycle - since they lack team medic, they have incomplete paperwork on top of Tech who just hacks into the system and leaves a mess in his wake.
Since they have issues with documents, they encounter problems with getting help as system boots out their requests. At the end of the day they have to beg for help, forcing clone medics to treat them out of circulation which produces more various issues... so the clone medics hate to work with them because of that and ALSO Clone Force 99 are TERRIBLE patients (Crosshair and Tech being the worst offenders - but on a different sides of the spectrum).
So Echo was *this close* from not getting proper help and TBH if they went to any other medic who didn’t know the ARC trooper personally, they could easily be turned away if a guy didn’t feel like jumping through the hoops to help a team of freaks.
Once Kix’s CT-number authorization was plastered all over their files, the system recognized/categorized him as a substitute/temporary medic - it means nothing in the grand scheme of things, but gives Kix easier access in the future as he can evoke the status again much easier (which is more helpful in case... Hunter was unable to consent for the file access in the future)
As for Tech’s armor - he wasn’t scolded for not wearing proper gear.
Kix (with the rest of medics at 501st) learned it hard way with Ahsoka - if someone is desperate enough to make a fashion statement by wearing a tube top to a battle - nothing will change their minds. They have to learn it hard way... and Kix would be ready with bandages and bacta patches when the lesson happens.
Tech, however, did get a slightly more vicious tirade from the rest of the Batch (who also had one, intertwined into a First Aid training they’re missing) for not connecting the dots that the issues they have with every med bay is correlated to mess they have with their files - the framework was a mess because, as it turned out, Tech was trying to circumvent the system to compensate lack of team medic and only made the matter worse!
The utter negligence almost cost Echo his life!
So that’s all I have, I hope it quenches your thirst! or at best... didn’t turn out to be underwhelming!
I hope to read your side of things!
---
Addendum: Since Kix got more involved with The Batch’s medical affairs, they often shared certain medical events/dates with 501st - they took parts in the same trainings courses, had the same dates for annual check-ups, vaccinations, etc. So they ended up waiting in the same lines as 501st. Thus, the Legion and the Squad started to slowly get to know each other better.
Also Anakin, to be honest, the more he saw the spec-ops, the more he considered absorption of Clone Force 99 into 501st structure.

The idea of Kix being “unofficial” Clone Force 99 medic haunts me and it goes like this:
After the mission on Anaxes Kix was basically adopted by The Bad Batch as "their" medic:
Echo trusts him the best. So whenever the ARC feels worse of they don't know what is happening with him, Echo asks specifically for Kix (in rare occasion Coric, but mostly Kix).
The Bad Batch doesn't care about remembering regular clones' names (they don't work with them frequently), however Kix's name comes up pretty often and his name is simple/short enough making Kix THE ONLY "remembered” named clone medic. It's easier to fetch him specifically rather than awkwardly go from medic to medic and ask for help.
Kix is "Crosshair approved" and it's only because the 501rst medic was "ballsy enough" to throw hands with the sniper.
Clone Force 99 basically forces Kix to sign their medical paperwork/ approval for combat/ sick leaves/etc. Kix scoffs every time, reminding them he is NOT their medic but signs the papers anyway.
However, as it turned out, every since he helps them on semi-regular basis, Kix has his share of mockery (they don’t mock him specifically but rather the whole situation AKA the outliers found themselves a personal nurse), especially by other clones medics - the most frequent offenders being ones from medical stations. They love to inform Kix that "the sad batch" with was looking for him again.
There was a lot of getting used to between them: at the beginning Clone Force 99 had a tendency to "kidnap" him on his way to mess-hall or from under the shower because there-was-no-time-to-waste-we-need-your-help. not to mention Crosshair almost gave Kix a heart attack one night, due to the sniper's eyes having tapetum lucidum layer in his eyes (I saw @sorry-but-no-sorry's excellent art, and this take on Crosshair’s mutation has been my headcanon ever since!), that's why Kix calls Crosshair “his own, personal, sleep paralysis demon"

I have  all my fingers The knife goes chop chop chop If I miss the spaces in-between my fingers will come off (...)
The knife song by Rusty Cage
I think that "the regs were hostile towards clone force 99" is one of the biggest misinterpretation and disservice Filoni's LucasArts has ever done to CLONES as a whole.
I know WHY it was done - to make Clone Force 99 more edgier/broodier than it was necessary - but the way they went about it was from totally wrong angle!
What I believe Filoni's LucasArts was trying to say was: Clone Force 99 were suppose to be outliers, but not in outcast or outsider sense of that word. The only reason why Kix and Jesse could be wary of The Batch was their 100% success rate... and the last time they worked with someone with a high score... Umbara happened.
In TCWs7 arc, when Cody proposed to Rex to ask for CF99's help to save Echo, he wasn't disgusted to have to speak to Hunter. There was no resentment between Cody and Hunter when they shook hands or The Bad Batch, Rex, Jesse and Kix during missions (except altercation Crosshair instigated). Furthermore in unfinished reels Clone Force 99 got medals at the end of their mission. As they were decorated, "regs" cheered in recognition of their achievement. Not to mention it also nullifies 99's arc, a clone that many fans love and adore to this day, as he was the OG lesson about bravery, brotherhood and accepting differences.
The Bad Batch's relationship with "regs" should be a harmless (except possible few wounded egos) never-ending pissing contest with dash of heightened self-importance on Clone Force 99's side (as they are *NOT* like the other clones): claiming "the best score" at the shooting range, arm wrestling competitions even literal pissing contests... or whatever people at military do to prove they are better than others.
But what Filoni's LucasArts end up making is a hot-take on bunch of high-school cliques cosplaying as military... and I'm salty about it.
