Just wanted to point out a few things:

Child ACCs

Yuu already made bunny ears for older sims, but I struggled to find anything for kids, so I just converted theirs. There are 3 versions so you can have the Yuu Ears + EA Tail both separately, or merged together as 1 ACC. The Toddler version only has the merged ACC.

Emysims Plush Bunny Toddler Socks REDONE as Shoes

Cuz Emysims' links are all dead, I reconverted their Bunny Sock ACCs (after lowering the egregiously high polys), making them Shoes for Toddlers instead.

Cyberpunk 2077 Bunny Backpack ACC

This stupid thing has TRASH joint assignments, so the arms stretch when sims bend over, and the straps clip terribly, but oh frikkin well.

Bunny & Cloud Rugs

I just lumped a bunch of different ones together, tweaking the colors on a few that didn't match the aesthetique(TM).

NRC! Yuu AU

Hehehe I've been thinking about this lil bastard for a while :^)

I wanted to toy with the idea of an AU in which Yuu was born in Twisted Wonderland and how he would affect the story if he was part of the main cast, so I came up with this fella. Rn the 4th long hair option is winning in the poll so I chose it for this design, but it'll change accordingly depending on which option wins. Not much from his appearance changes aside from giving him pinker eyes!

ライアースダンス (本音の仮面)- (True Intention's Mask)

Yuu can transform into a person of choice at the cost of an accelerated blot production. So far he's able to maintain a stable transformation for about 72 minutes.

His transformations are almost perfect, but he still cannot fully mimic people's eyes. Azul so far is the only one that can see through Yuu's UM.

Crowley never actually visited MC in Ramshackle for Ch3— it was Yuu using his unique magic.

Yuu has to syphon some of his magic towards the glamour charms, but he can change the strength of the glamour spells if he needs to use more magic. He numbers each level as a dance.

1st Dance: Ears + 1 Tail are revealed - all subsequent dances add a tail. The 7th and final dance adds markings to his skin resembling kumadori makeup.

Kitsune Lore:

Yuu is still the heir of his family, but backstories have been changed slightly and now he's much more willing on his role.

Floyd calls him "cuttlefishie" (イカちゃん/ika-chan) due to his many tails and his preference for seafood.

Kitsune only gain longevity after they gain their 9th tail. Before that, they age like a regular human.

Kitsune have 2 forms they can freely change into; their beastman and animal form. Culturally, kitsune are very overzealous about showing their natural ears and tails to other people in their beastman forms, so they use charms to maintain a glamour spell to make them look more human. Seeing a kitsune without glamours is only reserved to family, close friends or lovers.

A kitsune's animal form is like a 'hybernation' form for kitsune. They use this form to recharge after excerting a lot of their magic.

Kitsune used to be considered monsters until about half a millenia ago, so Yuu is extremely happy Grim got into NRC. He mistakenly thinks Grim is just a very very young Nekomata that has no control over his transformations yet.

Changes to Book 3-Onwards:

Yuu is Octavinelle's housewarden and is one of the very few students to have never entered a contract with Azul.

Azul challenged Yuu during the second half of his freshman year and lost. Yuu, though, saw his potential and appointed him vice-housewarden.

Has had a crush on Azul since the start of this schoolyear. Unlike Human! Yuu, he actually tries flirting from time to time. But due to Azul's low self-esteem, he thinks Yuu is actually making fun of him. Floyd and Jade are very aware of Yuu's crush, though.

As seen above, Yuu is actually the one who asks MC for help freeing the Anemones. Crowley is probably pro Azul since his deals actually increase the school's GPA let's be real.

Yuu helps the MC by using his UM to sneak into Atlantica's museum while the others distract the guards + tweels.

In a last ditch effort to appease Azul after Leona destroys the contracts, Yuu strikes a deal in which he gives his position as housewarden and UM. It all falls apart when the tweels eventually betray Azul and he overblots.

Confesses during the overblot battle like an idiot. Azul again thinks he's making fun of him (rip).

Yuu helps out in Book 4 by transforming into Kalim to figure out Jamil's plan.

Him and Azul officially start dating somewhere around ch 5.

So I have a Kitsune Mc, whose father is an extremely powerful Nine Tailed Kitsune. The man is so cunning he made the Octatrio and Jamil seem like naive children in comparison. The meeting between him and Mrs Roseheart would be interesting for the man has a clap back for everything. Also totally him leading Mrs Rosehearts to an empty room mid argument “So as to not bother the children.” And Mrs Roseheart agreed.

When they came out of the room, Mrs Roseheart is crying and apologizing to Riddle for being a horrible mother to him as well as promised to be better much to everyone’s shock. MC paled, knowing how powerful their father is when it comes to illusions:

Riddle: What did you do?!

My MC: Dad! What did you do?!

Benimaru (his name): What? I just showed her what the boy went through in first person perspective. Granted I might have amplified the feelings a little bit.

My MC: Dad!

Benimaru: Oh please, at least I didn’t break her mind or trap her in an never ending loop of nightmare like I did with those humans 500 years ago.

Riddle: *Absolutely scared and realizing that he is now indebted to the older man.*

Honestly, sometimes you got to let them learn the hard way. If seeing and feeling how Riddle felt was the only way to make her understand, so be it.

Idk why you're upset Yuu, he let her off easy. She'll be fine and stop crying...eventually.

So I've been hyperfixating on a Vocaloid Monster AU lately.

It started with me wanting to expand on the WOEFULLY underutilized concept of the PowerFX Vocaloids being "Classic Monsters" and just kind of... spiraled out of control from there. Now I have a LOT of ideas for Vocaloids, UTAUs and other vocal synthesizer characters as monsters for this AU.

So, specifically:

PowerFX:

Sweet Ann and Big Al = Frankenstein's Monsters (canon, more or less)

Oliver = Werewolf (I was inspired by this headcanon I found over at the old Vocaloid Headcanons blog and it hasn't left my brain since)

Yohioloid = Vampire (just LOOK at him!)

Ruby = Witch (I decided to round out the "classic" Halloween-style monsters with the only one that seems to be consistently female in these situations; after thinking about it though, it still fit, especially with the little star pattern in her jacket)

The ZOLA Project (based on their Carnelian designs)

Kyo = Vampire (Carnelian!Kyo has bat wings and bat = vampire)

Wil = Zombie (I actually don't know if Carnelian!Wil is specifically supposed to be a zombie, but someone said he looked like one so I went along with it)

Yuu = Werewolf (the furry, animal-eared hat and tatters/tears on his outfit scream "werewolf")

Other Vocaloids:

Aoki and Merli Lapis = Faeries (canon, obviously)

Aurum = Ghost (their aesthetic is supposed to be "a 1930s radio producer", so I thought why not make them an ACTUAL 1930s radio producer who died and now haunts the abandoned radio tower they used to work at? And yes, I know Aurum isn't technically a Vocaloid/won't be one when they're released, but let's ignore that for now)

Avanna = Witch (she gives off "magic user" vibes to me)

Daina = Kitsune (because foxes)

Dex = Werewolf (because wolves and also his voice provider made an entire song about him being a werewolf so canon)

Fukase = Demon (mostly just vibes in this case)

LUMi = Mermaid (because she's part jellyfish)

Luo Tianyi = Angel (canon)

Mayu = Vampire (it's in her aesthetic; I like to think she tries to bite people she's in love with so they'll never leave her)

Meika Hime and Mikoto = Forest Spirits (canon)

UTAUs:

Chikune Kenta = Vampire (canon, obviously)

KYE (Fuyuki Kaisei) = Dragon (he likes reptiles and also dragons are cool)

Kasane Teto = Human/Demon Hybrid (hence, "Chimera")

Kurobousuku = Werewolf (his name is literally "black wolf")

Namine Ritsu = Witch (another one based on vibes; also it would be funny for one of the few male witches in the story to also be a crossdresser)

Scott-129 = Alien (sort of canon)

Sekka Yufu = Yuki-onna (she's speculated already to be a "snow spirit" and a Yuki-onna seemed to be the most fitting choice for her)

Yuutsukoe Karasu (Kellyn Werner) = Tengu (sort of canon)

I want to do something with this idea, and I have some plot bunnies floating around in my head, but I'm not certain if I'll get around to it.

[ Welcome to 'A Kitsune's Guide to Being a Therapist' Yuu is loosely based on Yae Miko, though I did just snatch Yae Mikos kitsune spirit summoning thing ]

[ My versions of kitsune yuu :D ]

[ Yuus appearance is basically just: Clothing with shrine maiden inspiration but with black and white colors instead. Black fox ears and tails, a fox mask that's black and white, and black geta heels ]

[ Black and white colors basically ig ]

[ Yuu in their kitsune form wears two outfits, one with a boob window and less shrine maideney and the second more formal and looking more shrine maiden like ]

[ Yuu likes to swap between them because they don't really care about what mortals think about them ]

[ Yuu wears the uniform of the school unless stated otherwise though ]

The noise of wood rattling startled the Kitsune awake as they opened their eyes cautiously only to be met with pitch blackness. The kitsune's fox ears twitched lightly at the noise, lightly more sensitive over the long long years of hearing nothing but the soft noise of the ocean after they were chained down there.

Speaking of

The kitsune pulled their hand forward hissing at the pain that came after they touched their wrist. "I'll definitely need to heal that immediately...But on the other hand.."

They tilted their head lightly only to feel a hardwood.

"Did they think I died?.. No, they aren't that dumb..."

"Actually I wouldn't put it past them, they tried burning me alive one time, stupid mortals.."

"Crap. People are coming. Gotta get a uniform while..."

"....."

"Hm?"

There was a light twitch to their ears as the unfamiliar voice came closer. "Grr!! The lid is too heavy!" The kitsune kept a careful silence "Time for...my secret move! GuWAAAHUAAH!~ There!" The inside of the coffin was brightened by the light of the blue flames hitting the coffin lid for a split second before returning into the darkness. "Ok, ok. Gotta get-"

As the lid was being pulled off the surroundings hit the Kitsune like a fucking isekai truck. Floating coffins, green lanterns, a talking raccoon-

"WHAAAA-"

"WHY ARE YOU UP?!"

The Kitsune looked at the creature and gave a hum "A tanuki? No looks more like a raccoon..." The creature gasped offense "HEY! WHO ARE YOU CALLING A RACCOON? I am the great Grim!" The kitsune raised an eyebrow at that statement, "Well, whatever. Hey human! Hurry and give me those clothes! Otherwise, I'll roast yah!"

The igniting of the blue flames was the least of the kitsune's worries as they pulled their hand up, "Well these definitely aren't the clothes I was wearing." Their fox ears folded lightly from the already pulled-up hood of the clothing, maybe that was why the raccoon- Grim thought they were human.

"Hm..Do you not know who I am?" The kitsune eyed the flames that would, in any other case be burning the person. "Wh-What the!" The Kitsune gave a smile before steadily pulling themselves out of the coffin. "Not every day you see floating coffins or blue fire or a talking raccoon- or are you a tanuki?"

"I AM NOT A RACCOON!"

The kitsune not listening turned their head towards a hallway not so far. "Oh well, I must get going!" The Kitsune gave a snap of their fingers their fox ears vanishing instantly. "Wh- HEY HEY! GET BACK HERE!-"_____________________

[ Yuu in their 9 tails form, is their full power form - 190 cm/6,3 ft ]

[ when low on power they go to their 3 tails form - 173 cm/5,6ft ]

[ Yuus human form is the height of the low power form. ]

[ Yuu is gender neutral as they can change their bodys gender to whatever they like. Though their default body is of an androgynous look with the Twst boys assuming them as male. ]

The Kitsune whistled as they looked up at the tall buildings, "Quite the view it must be from up there, still wonder why I'm here.." With a light flick of their wrist, a small kitsune spirit quickly materialized.

[ Kitsune Spirit: Body is more like a whisp and the head is seemingly the only solid part of the body. The Kitsune Spirits act with a hivemind mentality ]

It gave a high pitch noise akin to a shrill with its mouth opened like a grin, "Hm? Of course, this is fun for you, you are not the one who has to deal with the actual problems of waking up in a place you don't recognize at all." The spirit gave a noise akin to a squeal as a response making the Kitsune give scoff, they pulled their hands up to the open grin of the kitsune spirit.

"Shut."

And shut the open mouth with an irked expression, "Hm?" After the emotion of annoyance faded away, the Kitsune looked down to see the blue fire once again.

"Did you really think you'd get away from my nose? Dumb human! If you don't wanna get roasted, better hand over- AH!- BUWAH??! Ow! What's with this rope-"

"This is no mere rope. It is a lash of love!"

"What the-"

"Ah, found you at last! Are you one of the new students?"

The kitsune's eyes lightly squinted looking at the crow-like a man with a look of curiosity "A crow man?.." They questioned quietly to themself "You shouldn't do things like that. Leaving the Gate on your own! Not only that, you have yet to tame your familiar which has broken several school rules!"

"....."

"School? I remember that was something the humans would talk about."

"LET ME GO! I'M NOT A FREAKIN FAMILIAR!"

The Kitsune gave a tilt of its head, "Familiar? Well, I'm not familiar with this Tanuki" The crow-looking man continued with this lecture not listening to what they said "Sure, sure. The rebellious ones always say things like that. Just quiet down for a moment.

"My goodness. It's unprecedented for new students to leave the Gate on their own. Uuugghh... How impatient can you be?" The Kitsune continued to stare with a curious look at the man, which they now dubbed as the 'Tengu ripoff' "The entrance ceremony is already well underway. Let's head to the Hall of Mirrors." The Kitsune gave a hum, "...New student?.. Gate?"

"It's the room you woke up in with all of the doors. Normally, students wake up only after the door is opened with a special key but..."

The Kitsune gave a light chuckle "Oh? So much for that, the rascal tanuki practically burnt the lid off." Although it had been just a couple of minutes, the Kitsune had never been more amused with the show the tanuki-like creature put up. In addition to this, it seemed as though they were chosen to join a school which they found hilarious the fact that nobody knew who they are.

"So in the end the culprit appears to be this familiar. If you're going to bring it with you, you have to take responsibility and properly take care of it."

The kitsune stared blinking slowly as they processed the information, although still curious and confused, pretending to be a human sounded fun. "...OH My! Now isn't the time to be long-winded. The entrance ceremony will soon come to a close." The tengu rip-off gave a wave of their hand "Let's get a move on."

More information was good so the Kitsune spoke up in the best, 'innocent confused question' they could give "Just a second, where exactly am I?"

"Oya? Are you still dazed? It appears the teleportation magic has left you disoriented. Well, it is fine. It happens often enough."

[ Courtyard ]

"Ahem!"

"Those magicians blessed with a unique aptitude for magic gather from all over the world, here at the most prestigious magical academy in Twisted Wonderland."

"And I am the headmaster, appointed to take care of this academy by the board chairman, Dire Crowley."

The kitsune gave a hum "Magician?"

"Only those magicians seen as worthy by the Dark Mirror can attend this school."

"Well, the Dark Mirror is late by many thousands of years,"

"Chosen ones use the Gate and are summoned here from around the world. An Ebony Carriage carrying a gate should have gone to meet you as well."

The kitsune tilted its head with a light confusion, "There's no way a carriage could've ended up all the way down there...Especially with all those memories."

"The Ebony Carriage goes to welcome new students chosen by the Dark Mirror. They are special carriages that carry the doors to the academy. The market decided long ago that carriages are used to welcome people on special days."

The kitsune's eyes shifted towards the unfamiliar buildings that surrounded them, so a carriage somehow managed to bypass everything, how interesting.

Whatever reason the kitsune was brought into the school for didn't matter to them, as long as they were not in that place anymore they would gladly play the part of a human.

"Muuggaamm! MUggh!!"

The Kitsune gave a like tsk as the Tanuki-Grim abruptly brought them out of their thoughts. "Come. Let's go to the entrance ceremony."

I have two moods and they are imagining scenarios in which Yuu could kiss Azul but won't, and scenarios in which NRC! Yuu could kiss Azul and 100% will with no hesitation.

Poor Canon Yuu is in Ch6 pining hard over a guy who doesnt even look his way whilst NRC!Yuu has already been dating Azul for at least a month smh.

This takes place post-Scarabia arc before they formally start dating, in which Yuu has to constantly try and convince Azul he does like him for realsies but Azul's self loathing won't let him believe it.

As a proof of trust, Yuu allows Azul to see him without any glamour spells or charms on while they get ready for a housewarden meeting. Azul takes it a step further and promises not to peek until Yuu has his charms back on— completely missing the point of the trust exercise smh.

Y: You could win yourself a pretty madol if you opened your eyes right now, you know.¹

A: So you know about the bets?

Y: They started on my freshman year. They're just more desperate now that there's only a couple months left before I leave for internships. I heard the prize pool is over 10,000 thaumarks now, so why won't you look?²

A: I know what it means for your culture to show me this form. I don't want to betray the trust you have for me as your vice-housewarden.

Y: Hm, you've done your research. But you should know I trust you as more than just my vice-housewarden.

A: You really shouldn't. Was my overblot not proof enough? You really are a bad judge of character.

Y: Maybe I am. I trust you as much as you trust me. And if you've read the stories, you should know not to keep your eyes closed around creatures like me.

A: Is that a threat? Are you going to eat my heart out, Yuu-san?³

Y: It's a tempting offer but– that's not what I want to do right now. And I won't do anything you don't want me to do, either.

A: What do you want to do?

Y: I want to kiss you.

A: You're lying.

Y: I'm not. I really want to kiss you right now.

A: Mhm.

Y: Can I?

A: Hm?

Y: Can I kiss you, 'Zul-kun?

A: ... Yes.

Y: Are you sure?

A: If you're going to keep bluffing, I'll open my eyes. I've got very little time, you know?

Y: Please do. But I'm going to kiss you right now, okay?

A: ... O-

¹ Since kitsune are so cagey about showing their true appearance, a small bet ring started about who could guess the number of tails Yuu has correctly and/or see his true form. The person who manages to make Yuu crack gets the whole pool, but if nobody does, the people who got the closest to Yuu's true number of tails are given the earnings.

²Since the currency names differ on EN and JPN versions, I have this hc that Madols and Thaumarks are diff names for the same currency. Madols are the coin money and Thaumarks are paper money!

³This isn't exactly Kitsune but Kumiho lore; they're known for seducing men and then eating their hearts or livers😋

Hello not a request just something me and my friends kinda did while we watched the Big Bang theory episode where Sheldon gives Amy a tiara. Imagine Sheldon being Malleus Amy being Yuu/MC. Malleus not knowing what to give his lover so he just makes her a tiara as he got crowns on his birthday and when Yuu/Mc sees it she’s grinning and so excited as she has a tiara and can look like a princess. Malleus just smiling fondly in the background tell she pulls him into a kiss.

Okay but this is adorable and honestly something he might do. Malleus is the king of “What does my child of man want?”

I see him giving random gifts all the time though. Just gauging their reaction and how they receive them. Figuring out their favorite things. Maybe it’s part of fae courting as he tries winning their love? A tiara/crown could be him wanting to get serious because if they were to ever marry him, they’d have that crown permanently.

Just haaaaah Malleus 💚 also never apologize for rambling because it’s what I live for. I adored every single word I read from this.

I know I already answered some asks about my fics for 2023, but I wrote a review for my fics last year, so I'm doing it again this year. Let's get started! All the data comes from my AO3 statistics. All the rest is under a cut because it's long!

What was the most surprising thing about writing in 2023?

I think the most surprising thing about this year was the amount of Twisted Wonderland fics I wrote. While I got into the game in 2022, it wasn't until this year you can see it dominate my fanfics. Writing for a new fandom is always a gamble. Just because I get into a new fandom doesn't always mean I write fanfics for it, but Twisted Wonderland won the gamble ahaha.

2. What was the most enjoyable to write?

The most enjoyable thing to write this year was my Platonic Yandere AU. The idea of all the NRC cast deciding to silently keep Yuu from going home haunted my mind for months. Bringing it to life was fun and I'm so happy that others like this idea too.

3. Which fic is the most underrated?

I know I've already talked about my poor Fire Emblem fic Divine Intervention being underrated and I still stand by this answer. However, I'm adding another story to this answer. I also think that Energy Drinks (SDR2) is underrated and I'd love to see more love to that story.

4. Which fic(s) had something "cut" or had an idea that never happened?

-I had more violent scenes in mind for Just a Normal Citizen (Not a Dimension Traveler), particularly with Jade/Floyd as well as Leona, but those never happened. Mostly because all the cast decided to keep their illegal activities "secret" from Yuu. Those scenes may still happen later in the story.

-Yuu's reveal of coming from another dimension had other versions that just couldn't happen. All of them a little too dramatic so they were scrapped. I'm happy where it landed though.

-In Dorm Exchange I was also going to write some of the exchange part, but I never got around to it and focused on the deciding process.

-In Late Night Snack I originally wanted Yuu and Vil's conversation to be a little more confrontational. That didn't pan out and I'm happier for it.

5. Which fic did you want to write but didn't get around to?

-I wanted to write a fic where established Vil/Rook high key flirt with other characters that they're attracted to. The main candidate for this is Trey but other characters include: Jack, Cater, Deuce, Ace, and of course Yuu. Though I think I get enough Vil/Rook flirting with Yuu in other fics ahaha.

-For my Platonic Yandere AU I have ideas for where Grim falls on the scale of "Keep Yuu in Twisted Wonderland". I don't know if I'd write a full separate fic, but the idea could appear in another fic in Yuu's perspective. Also, I have more ideas for this AU so stay tuned.

-Said this in an ask before but I want to write another instalment in my Kitsune!Komaeda and Human Hajime fic series.

-Briefly thought about writing another Dr. Stone fic because of Season Three and rereading the manga.

-I still have a silly JJK/SK8 the Infinity fic sitting in my WIPs that I'd like to write for the laughs.

6. Any WIPs that never got published?

I have two main ones. First, I have a story about Malleus who normally eats lunch alone (if not accompanied by Lilia, Silver, or Sebek) and Kalim deciding that can't happen and Malleus needs to eat with him and his friends. I didn't finish this because at the time I was writing a LOT of food in my fics and felt it was very repetitive.

Next, I have a story of Lilia finding Silver and the process of raising Silver as his son. I didn't finish this mostly because that's when Book 7 dropped in Japan and my story would 100% contradict canon and I hate when I do that.

7. Share a snippet from a WIP fic?

Here is a snippet from Malleus eating lunch alone and Kalim deciding this cannot happen. Fic title in my WIPs is "Homemade Lunches".

"Deciding on his sandwich first, Malleus reached to pick it up when a blur of warm crème and red flashed towards him. A beat later and Kalim plopped down beside Malleus, angling himself so the trunk of the tree slightly hid him. Kalim warmly smiled before pressing a single finger to his lips, the universal sign of “be quiet”, and watched as a few Scarabia members ran past him, their footsteps frantic. When they passed and didn’t return Kalim exhaled audibly.

If Malleus were asked to describe Kalim, he’d say Kalim was like a desert breeze that morphed into human form so it could dance and sing with abandon. Wherever Kalim went warmth followed him, like the taste of chili powder, cinnamon, cloves, and other spices Malleus vaguely remembered from souvenirs Lilia had brought back. Kalim’s warmth always lingered on the tongue before dancing its way down into the heart."

8. Which fic was the one you were most "excited" to write?

I was most excited to write The smell of bleach for @m34gs as part of our Sort of Saw AU. At that point the story idea had only been scattered in ask answers, our DMs, and over phone calls. Bringing our conversations together into a single fic was so exciting! Honestly, this entire AU excites me so much!
