Would you kindly explain to me why your intro still shows Emilie dying from using the Peacock Miraculous, basically telling us that Sadrien is more likely than not a Sentihuman too and YOU ARE still wearing his amok object!!!

And you straight up HARSHLY excluding and abandoning your son in all of this (keeping his entire hero work secret from him), who is looking to YOU.

The dynamic here is depicted clear as day, the unreachable one is still GABRIEL. Not the other way around. Gabriel is still horribly failing Adrien and the special isn't exactly hiding it.

While, if I understood this right I'm not fluent in french, Alt Adrien never attented school? But Alt Marinette knows him so he's still a celebrity child for his father's brand. Also, Adrien for some messed up reason ist still being held up to the standard of perfection (or he holds himself to it) as one of Griffe Noire's comments clarified.

So in fact, nothing is different at the core of this mess? Its still all Gabriel's fault, he even stole the Miraculous from the Supreme (seemingly both the Butterfly and Peacock) paralleling how our Gabriel found the exact same Miraculous too.

In this leak Gabriel has his hand on Nathalie's shoulder because both of them pretend to still be close. So this:

Is happening right afterwards when they're alone again.

I have to assume we are looking at them from Adrien's POV? He's literally the only person I can think of for who they would make such an effort to keep up not only a friendly fasade, but one of a relationship. Nathalie is still wearing the wedding ring so solid chance that in s5 Nathalie and Gabriel are forced to play married couple in front of Adrien.

If they didn't Nathalie wouldn't have any reason to use against Gabriel so he doesn't get his hand on the second ring he gave her (yes, I'm 100% convinced Adrien has two amok objects, its 50/50) and Gabriel has to play along because my GOODNESS Nathalie has a shit ton holding against him - including Adrien!

Love how “Marinette is invited to the Agreste’s for an approval meeting” is such a thing in fanfics and it’s usually like. They all sit down at this enormous dining table, Marinette is super nervous because Gabriel is her idol, Adrien gives her clues on how to handle herself, Gabriel is acting cold and the conversation is sparse, but in the end he is surprisingly approving of their relationship and impressed of Marinette (him plotting an evil scheme after depends on whether it’s an AU or not and how evil Gabi is written).

And then when it actually happens in 5x19, she isn’t even invited, she just invades the mansion. And Gabriel is like. Come on in little friend lol. Not you though Adrien. No pancakes for you today. Go to your room, Senti-Son. Gabriel proceeds to prepare the worst pancakes in the world and threatens to destroy Marinette’s career (she’s 14????) while mocking her designs so she basically calls him a dirty capitalist pig after running away from being forcefed disgusting pancakes and instead swears her eternal love to Adrien, insults Gabriel’s cooking skills and then just leaves while Gabe can do nothing but gape at her. Absolutely amazing behaviour from all of them would not trade it for the world

Damn, why did it take me so long to REALLY realize this? In "Illusion" there is this whole thing with Gabriel 'allowing' Adrien to call him Papa/ Dad because he suddenly decided that he actually wants a son and a bond with him.

An interesting aspect of the dynamic is lost in the English dub though, cause in the french original Gabriel may be 'allowing' Adrien to call him "Papa" but Gabriel is still perfectly fine with Adrien keeping on using the formal vous/ you with him while Gabriel as his parent has always used the informal you with Adrien from the get-go.

The fact that Gabriel - who grew up middle class - does not offer Adrien to finally adresse him informally so they can talk to each other on the same level of 'respect' really says alot and shows very well that his whole fatherly intention has a serious limit.

But that's not where this ends. Cause at the end of "Passion", when Nathalie and Adrien finally started being mother and son, Nathalie actually immediately drops the formal vous with Adrien - yes, she has always addressed him formally too - and I'm pretty sure Adrien is now addressing her informally as well.

Plus, remember that in the very same episode Nathalie straight up refused to drop the formalities in her dynamic with Gabriel.

That is such an amazing linguistic method of story telling for the Agreste family in the french original, and it's unfortunate that the english language just doesn't have that option in general. In cases like this alot gets lost in dubbing.
