It's ok if you ship Vecpio. Really. Everyone knows I do. I don't try to hide it.
From what I've seen, new fans automatically ship them until some 'anti' pops up with the tell tale 'espio is 16 and vector is 20.' bullshit. BUT GUESS WHAT.... Espio isn't actually 16, and Vector isn't actually 20. I can tell you right now, no Vecpio fan ships them at those ages or ever have. Everyone can agree that's MESSED UP. They're peers. Can't everyone at least agree on that? Platonically or not. (listen, we can all go on for ages about the characterization of each of these characters, but I digress. I'm trying to keep this short)

Anyways I can't wait to see his concept artwork made by Universal Pictures!
| The turrets, Prima Donna turret and others would be wildly amazing and super realistic. ok im gonna talk abt aimsey first cuz their design caused me grief/j
These were my first few choices for colour pallets.
light blue and red, the loght blue comes from the classic(?) fin shirt and the red comes from the shade of hair i chose! ultimately i decided the red body with red hair didnt follow the fraggles design consistency.
Blue body, yellow shirt, the shirts colour comes from the flower(a nod to the daisy beanie ) as a way to try to carry the yellow out.
The next ones don't differ much, the blue is darker, and more muted and i think it works better for not only the fraggle setting the the colour pallet overall.
red body, dark blue sweater. i was fucking around trying to figure things out and this was the closest the red n blue look nicer together but the red body red hair is still an issue
finally i settled on the final combination
dark blue body red sweater the blue is still a nod to the fin shirt and the red matches the browns and reds that i often see in others fanarts !
im so proud of how they look lol.
i didnt struggle as much with ranboos design.

ok so i dont have as many pictures for them, but im just gonna talk lol.
at first the purple n teal where switched, and i realized while messing with it that having their body be purple i can nod towards the particle chat design! and suddenly everything was easy.
untill i had to draw their outfit, even now i dont like their outfit? it looks way to modern i guess lol but its cute!
i simplified the jacket from their v-tubers modle slapped an anklet on them n called em done, ill probably come back to these designs n shit.
for references i used Boober and Wembley's puppets as a base for their snout shapes! but looking at background and other prominent fraggle characters helped

AMA ask: as a long time SPN fan, how do you keep it fresh for yourself? Do you fear losing interest?
Hey, punkin #1! This is an excellent question, with kind of a counter-intuitive answer: I don't keep it fresh. Fandom morphs, things fall in and out of fashion, a new generation inhabits the SPN space (because the fandom has been going on THAT LONG), but I always find myself meandering back to the same sort of content. And I keep creating the fanworks that resonate with my dark crusty heart but there's an ever-changing fandom to engage with, show my stuff to, reasons to create goodies that appeal to me!
Fandom itself is more of a buzzkill than the show ending, to be perfectly honest. Speaking of fandom morphing, I'm not sure it's been morphing in a positive direction. I really enjoyed the days of YKINMKATO and ship-and-let-ship. Don't like? Don't read. DNIs weren't a thing, because we knew how to use the block and mute buttons. Fandom events are getting less and less inclusive, too. But I digress from your ask...
Yeah, I'm absolutely feeling the ebb of zeal in myself. It's partly fandom's behavior (as touched on above; standom was a mistake) but also I'm a freelance artist in my day job and it's doing pretty well for me right now, so that takes up a lot of creative energy. No other franchise, however, has tickled the urge to generate fanworks since SPN (even Interview with the Vampire, which I adore with every fiber of my being!), so I won't be leaving it behind totally. Not until it's gone gone, which may or may not ever happen if the boys put their money where their mouths are, and generate a revival. (Personally, I hope it happens on a cable network so we can get more mature(?) content. The Dabb era was evolving into a cheesy YA novel. Plz come back, Kripke.) There's very little on-screen chemistry that can rival that between Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. I'll get sucked right back in, pretty sure. XD
