DENIZENS OF KASHMIRE
It's now 2024, and high time I did another face census.
Kashmire has grown to 245 (from 233 in 2022) playable sims. Some really need played or be turned into townies. Others just need to kick off from their mortal coil. Had a lot of movement last year thanks to New Years resolutions such as 'have 10 new babies', and 'graduate at least 10 Young Adults'. I only had one sim die I can even think of off the top of my head. Time rolls along slowly for sims in Kashmire but I enjoy it after 17 years.

OMG! It's real. Swimmable Pond Sims 2.... whispers [For Download]
So, @kashmiresims literally is a genius. The base/pre made swimmable pond was made by them. I did the DECO, because I'm a DECO girlie. I've had my sims swimming their butts off.
It's literally so much fun. I also love that you can see the fish swimming with them, like OMG!
So tranquil as well. So whether you're looking for some peaceful Lake/Pond nights, or a fun spot. This Lot is for you.

Today I bring you a creation I made for @kashmiresims / @ch4rmsing, whom you can also find streaming on twitch under the name Rachums. She wanted a way for her Sims to online date, and asked if I could move the Crystal Ball functionality by twojeffs to the computer. And it turns out, I could indeed! So today what I have on offer for you is an add-on mod for the computer that adds the Find a mate crystal ball functionality to the computer, meaning your Sims can hop on any time, find Sims they have great chemistry with, and thanks to the sims magic, have that Sim appear next to their computer ready to be greeted and romanced! For extra realism, changing the settings on what type of Sims you want to see as options has to be done by your Sim, so it's like they are setting up their profile for what they want, before they browse. The interactions are not set to be autonomous.
I have also made an updated version of my edited Monique computer (more info on what I edited previously can be found here), with this interaction added (you still need the mod as well). Some of you might be using Midge's more computer options which among other things added the gypsy matchmaking interaction to the computer, I also have a version that is compatible with that mod. If you use the Midge mod, grab the compatible version instead of the standalone. Yay flexibility and options!

The mod will not impact custom computers, if they have an internal menu. If the menu does not have custom options it needs to keep, you can probably make it compatible by going in and removing the TTAs/TTAB, and making sure the interaction table ID in OBJD is set to 81.
Some info: The "existing relationships" and "gender preference" settings are a little misleading. They apply to the target Sim, not your own Sim. So turning on or off gender preference, controls what sort of sexuality the target Sim has. Existing relationship refers to Sims who are married or the like, so whether or not you want to see only single Sims as options, or if Sims in prior relationships show as well.
Conflicts: Conflicts with Midge's "More Computer Options" mod, if you use that, please download the compatible version and make sure this mod loads after Midge's mod. Also conflicts with inteen package B, if you want to use this please make it load after inteen. I do not want to make a compatible version as I don't know exactly what inteen changed, and there's already multiple versions which gets confusing for you guys to figure out which to get. Not worth it :) The only thing you lose from inteen is whatever changes it made to computer menus. Load order will not help if there is a conflict not listed here, my mod needs every part to work so it either needs to be resolved, or you need to pick which one you want, like with inteen.

Today I have converted a locker from highschool years, there is an open and closed option requested by chocolatecitysims and @kashmiresims! I have been sick so need to catch up with everything...
They are located in surfaces - misc.
Quarter tile placement and moveobject cheats to get them to but up against each other.

JSB Grocery 001: (Functional Jacky93Sims Remix)

SUMMARY
Grocery store objects (Severinka_, 2022; BodegaBaby, 2021) converted by Jacky93Sims (2023), have been edited, expanded, and made functional. Slots have been added to most surfaces along with new items and recolors (select AL Woods; CuriousB, 2010). Some objects require shifting and/or placement cheats for ideal positioning. See below for details.
DETAILS
Requires all EPs/SPs.
§100-500 | Buy > Surfaces/Electronics
Items with “MESH” in their filename are REQUIRED for textures/recolors to display correctly in-game. Also, Object Freedom 1.02 (Fway, 2023) is required. Since some items are cloned from shelves, you may need to shift items up once in order for them to place properly.
Display Island 4 (Fish) is cloned from the default grocery bin and now has an empty state. There is an “ice only” recolor in case you want to decorate it with your own food items - just know that it will be harder to tell when the bin needs restocking if you use this recolor.
Cold displays/fridges only have slots on the bottom-left side, and Display Island 3 only has slots on the front side. This is on purpose to allow intersection with other deco objects. Also, Shelf 3 (Fridge) is the ONLY shelf that will keep food from spoiling. Do not place perishable items on other shelves/displays!

SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED
Assembly can be annoying, but you gain greater functionality in the end. Place sale items on any one of the FIVE shelves, then add them to Cold Showcases, Fridge Displays, or your own unique display.
To assemble the Cash Desk: 1) place the Cash Desk (Center) (this is a counter meant for the cashier/register), 2) place the Cash Desk (Left End) on the tile directly to the left of the Center counter, and 3) use “move objects on/off” and/or “grid on/off” cheats to align the Cash Desk (Right End) part on the right side of the Center counter. Be sure all three parts are facing the same direction.

Ok, a swimmable pond? In the sims2...... unlikely. BUT @kashmiresims promises us it is. So, of course I had to download the premade base lot [yay] and do some DECO. I have not played the Lot as of yet, so I can't attest to the... "swimability" of the Pond. But will report soon after DECO is done.

Multi-key dorm door mod add on for diagonal dorm doors
I have a quick little random drop for you guys today. Hanging out on @kashmiresims stream today we found out that BoilingOil's multiple dorm door key mod does not work for diagonally placed doors. This is because BO forgot to give the menu options to the diagonal version of the door. It's a very easy fix, so I went ahead and fixed it so any of you that use it can have doors placed however you want :) Now you will be able to assign keys to other Sims even if the door is placed on a diagonal.

You still need BoilingOil's original mod, this is an add-on not a replacement :) They do not conflict, so load order won't matter. No known conflicts, would conflict with mods that alter pie menus or action strings of the diagonal version of dorm door.

JSB Grocery 002: (Functional Jacky93Sims Add-Ons)

SUMMARY
This is a vending machine and functional seafood products to go with the JSB Grocery 001 set (Simmons, 2023). The machine itself vends groceries while shop owners can place sale items in the open interior – sell more items while using less space! Additionally, there are several seafood products which can be sold in OFB shops and used to stock fridges for food points. Some objects require shifting and/or placement cheats for ideal positioning. See below for details.

The JSB Grocery 001 set (Simmons, 2023) and Object Freedom 1.02 (Fway, 2023) are BOTH required. Items with “MESH” in their filename are REQUIRED for textures/recolors to display correctly in-game. Two items in one -purchase groceries by clicking on the machine itself. On OFB lots, place sale items (like the seafood products) on the vending machine shelf, then place the shelf behind the glass (you’ll need “move objects ON” and “snap objects to grid OFF” cheats).
Let sims know what you’re selling by applying one of 21 swatches to the machine buttons. When it runs out of stock, the buttons will glow red.
