there’s probably already a fic like this but i need 15 where they’re at the conservatory ball and lady danbury is looking for where anthony ran off to so she can introduce him to the sharma family and she spots him through the window in the ballroom and whoops who’s that he’s speaking to?
anyway she goes outside and hears his “so you find my smiling pleasing?” comment and right when kate goes to leave, lady danbury comes around the bend of the bush and is like “well miss sharma, i see you’ve made your own introduction to lord bridgerton”
let the chaos ensue in which kate does all to discourage his pursuit of edwina while lady danbury does all to push him and kate together instead and it’s like a three way battle of wills lol
part of me wants to be like ‘lady danbury forces them to get married because of them being alone at the conservatory ball’ but i think she’d give anthony a few warning shots with her cane in reality and a lecture about propriety with a warning that the next time is marriage

Kanthony mini Drabble that I thought up just for fun:
"Didi, if I tell you we have a problem, you won't be angry at me right?" Edwina mumbled as softly as she could, as they were getting ready for bed that night
Kate frowned " what is it Bon?" Edwina was a gentle young woman who rarely voiced dissatisfaction at all and tonight was supposed to be the night of her dreams
"I feel awful about this, especially considering how kind Lady Danbury and the Queen have been to me" Edwina looked around as tho she was looking out for any suspicious servants "But it's Viscount Bridgerton, the man I danced with... I simply don't like him"
"You don't?... great, I mean, I support you love, of course you don't" Kate sat with her in the bed and patted her hand "do you want to tell me why?"
"oh it wasn't anything he did, the man was perfectly amiable but he just looked at me like if I were a prop on a mantlepiece Didi, Edwina Sharma, another checkmark on his Todo list" Edwina groaned " I can't imagine such a man courting me "
"Oh dearest, if you truly don't like him you don't have to entertain him, nobody will force you to marry him" Kate counselled
"I can't exactly turn him away, he's the most elegible bachelor of the ton, everyone would think I'm insane" Edwina continued leaning on her elder sister "That's why you should get rid of him for me"
"Are you sure?" Kate was known to be heavy handed after all
"Yes, I may not be able to tell him no, but you can! Just drive him away and he'll leave me alone long before he finds out I don't like him" Edwina thought about it for a second "better yet, make him regret even trying to court me in the first place "

Edwina shook her head looking at her sister and the besotted Viscount glued to Kate's side " you know Didi when I asked you to take him out of my life I didn't mean for you to take him out for a special marriage license"
" I tried" Kate defended herself "I swear I did" trying to push the smirking Anthony away from her " Short of killing him myself he just wouldn't quit coming back"
"forgive her this once Edwina, it was all my fault" her new brother in law chuckled hugging Kate and placing his head on her neck "Kate truly did try her best to drive me away"
Edwina shook her head " And to think during the dinner with my grandparents we were so close to getting him to stop pestering our household"
Kate sighed " I know Bon, I Know"
Au in which instead of asking Kate to get along with Anthony, Edwina asks her sister to drive the man away because she doesn't like him, and Kate spends all the season sabotaging Anthony's life in various ways, until he clues in and starts pushing back against all her dirty tricks. Culminating in a game of pall mall where a sexually-frustrated Anthony decides the best way to finish driving Kate crazy for the rest of his life is to marry her. Leaving Edwina very disappointed at her sister's lack of success getting rid of the Viscount.

My opinion on both: Sidelines is ramarro’s first Kanthony fanfic and it’s so good. The slow burn, the tension, the chemistry between the two of them. The author understands the characters very well and knows how to translate them to our time as well as the theme of family duty.
Another thing I enjoy a lot of ramarro’s works is the treatment of the sex scenes. They are very well written and the characters, the scene, the thoughts and beliefs about it and the conversations feel real. You will enjoy it a lot, I promise.
The one-shot is so hot I can’t describe it so you must read it the moment you finish Sidelines.

Like, Kate loves the Bridgertons and the Bridgertons love her and they are like an important rich family but still our dumb idiots. But obviously the dumbest ones are Anthony and Kate. I warn you, the slow burn is VERY slow but the waiting is so rewarding at the end. They belong together in every universe, I swear.

It starts in Italy.
It’s early September and the holiday had initially been proposed to be a sort of retreat, painting together, going to the museums of Florence to learn and gather inspiration. They do paint occasionally, but mainly they lounge around the villa’s little pool, drinking red wine and spritz, planning their days around where they should go for dinner.
It’s wonderful, and Kate can feel the tension of the last months, the job search, the decisions she had to make, easing off her. So when Benedict tells the group that his brother is going to drop by for a bit, she barely takes notice of it.
(Kate and Anthony have a holiday fling before she moves to Berlin. It's not the last she sees of him.)
My opinion: I love this fanfiction with all my heart. Anthony and Kate are perfect as separated characters but together they are the best. They understand and complement each other so well and they are so supportive of each other and sex positive, like, they feel like a (very hot) real couple. Kate is such a good character, I love her.
We Never Lived Here by ramarro

My opinion: I’m not sure what I prefer more, if Kate’s POV or Anthony’s POV of Three Cities. When you read Three Cities, you believe Anthony is like a cool but cute mature man head of the family and very good in bed but then you read this and you are like: can you not be obsessed with Kate Sharma for a sec? I know it’s a very difficult task because she is asking you to do some… fun things… (he loves to be manhandle)… If you enjoyed Three Cities, you will enjoy this fic a lot.

Bridgerton Aus based on my personal favorite lighthearted Isekai Manwha. Pt1
Kanthony ‘I’m Divorcing My Tyrant Husband’
Kate Sheffield, up and coming British polo player did not expect to somehow die in a car crash and wake up in her sister Edwina’s favourite romance fantasy novel. Worse, the character that she reincarnated isn’t the main character but rather the most loser extra, Kathani Sharma, the long suffering wife of Tyrant Emperor Anthony Bridgeton, who only exists as a political marriage prop for the emperor and his concubine to shine. Since the male lead not only neglects his empress but also highly favours the concubine his council encouraged him to accept into the castle, to the point where Anthony spends the whole novel ignoring Kathani's needs until his wife eventually dies of consumption over an illness that could have been easily prevented. All while Sienna receives all the love of the people.
The situation is frustrating. With seven siblings ruling different continents, Anthony’s power is absolute, and his wife is barely respected because she hasn’t produced an heir. Reincarnated Kate of course, thinks that the husband the novel landed her with, is total garbage. And since she is not the original Kathani Sharma and doesn’t want to die of illness or whatever scheme Sienna Rosso can hash out to make her look bad, she realizes that her best bet to attain a peaceful afterlife in this novel, is to make Tyrant Emperor Anthony get sick of her and divorce her.
So no more Mrs nice wife. No more taking care of the kingdom, no more playing the part of a demure Empress, no more paperwork, no more begging the Tyrant Emperor or his siblings for attention. Kate doesn’t like Anthony and she’s going to make it his Kingdom’s problem. From now on, she’s going to be the biggest pain in the grass that the castle has ever known, She’s going to spend Anthony’s money in dresses and jewels and whatever else until she bankrupts the kingdom treasury (Anthony just thinks his wife is cute, if she bankrups him, his family will just conquer another continent to get more gold) . She’s going to barge in his meetings with other nobles (that’s also good, Anthony gets bored in meetings anyway), she’s going to publicly buy slaves in the black market (and secretly set them free, but shhh) all in all, she’s going to be such a terrible empress that Anthony will be forced to divorce her.
But wait… Why does he seem to like her even more when she disrupts the order of things and causes mayhem? What is wrong with this trashy womanizer that the more she tries to get on his nerves the more he laughs? If only he could divorce her. Argh, why won’t he just let her go, she wants to live her life in peace, But no, the more Anthony Bridgerton gets inconvenience by his stubborn Empress, the more he believes she’s the right woman for him.
Maybe she should get a lover, infidelity has got to be a cause for divorce even in fantasy land right…. Wait Anthony, no no no, stop trying to kill Thomas Dorset!! He did nothing wrong! He was just staring at her for too long!! Didn’t the Tyrant emperor in this story always ignore his empress and favour his concubine? Why are there rumours that Anthony never slept with Sienna? And why the heck is Anthony so determined to kill any man who gets close to Kate??. What happened to her divorce??
