Yukiko Tsugiri is a chilly woman who cares only about progress and leaving a legacy. Be it in the scientific fields, her family name, or her bank account. Having inherited the family business from her own mother- she has made her mother's creative spirit and beloved Quamy characters into a household name: appearing on everything from kids dishes to airplanes. Yukiko is obsessed with immortality, making her face and legacy eternal is her ultimate goal.. a goal that is changed to true immortality upon discovering Faerie Dust, and eventually the Faeries. Her relationship with her daughter, Kagami, is just that- another goalpost on the road to immortality. What that means for Kagami herself, is rather frightening. Yukiko is an accomplished scientist, often not trusting her employees to do something so delicate and important as the matter at hand. She personally invented the QuaMii and developed Faeglass, such things landing her in good graces with Richard Sphinx, and Null by extension.

On one of her rare patrols, Lady Mariposa stopped at the residence of one of her favorite Champions. She didn't know why she was there, but she must have made noise, for soon she was joined on the roof by Kagami, who seemed to welcome the intrusion. She had been feeling a little lonely and could use company.

Her insight was a welcome calm to Lady Mariposa's chaotic thoughts.
