!! IN NEED OF HELP !!

(Note: any mention on the previous post links about my pinned post isn’t about this one. I accidentally deleted the previous one)

Hi! Me and my roommate are poor, disabled, and queer, myself being Native American also. They are unable to work due to their disability and my work is purely seasonal and is near non-existent in the winter when needed most and is also VERY rough oh me physically.

I don’t have health insurance at present and have been fighting with unemployment for the period of time I didn’t have any work at all with little success, and food stamps still thinks I have two jobs and only gives me $23 a month.

We need money badly for food for us, my cat and their elderly dog, and for rent and bills to be paid on time (5th of every month) as every day it’s late they charge a $50 late fee

i feel bad for him, really. because he knows what happened to him, and he isn’t supposed to. but he knows and he was created for the sole purpose of craving that treatment. so of course he “wants” to go back, even though he does not actually want to.

and so he tries to fill that void with anything that he possibly can, and a combination of brain chemistry and upbringing have made him dependent on other people to fill it for him.

he is working on it, and we don’t say it enough but we’re all proud of him for it. he hasn’t tried to contact that man in a few years. he unblocked him on facebook last night but didn’t send any sort of message; he blocked him again in the morning. he would never have been able to do that, before.

and i know that it’s because he fused with other parts, parts who were, understandably, more scared of that man than he was. but the fear that he absorbed from that is probably a good thing, even though it makes him miserable, because it keeps him safe. it keeps him safe in ways that we can’t, because this disorder is supposed to protect him, but the way that it was forced onto us makes it do the opposite, sometimes.

he’s scared, and he’s hurting, but at least he is here. at least we are all still here, instead of back there.

Hi, my job is working in a kitchen for camps and with winter months approaching, I’ll be out of work until sometime in January and I will need financial help badly! Between the cost of keeping warm in the winter and also food for myself, my roommate, and our pets, these colder months are always super super rough for us!

I’m trying for unemployment but I lost my birth certificate and had to pay money just to have them process my request to be mailed a copy, and unemployment keeps saying the documents I’m providing to prove my identity and address “don’t have the right information” despite me sending exactly the things they asked for which is!! Super frustrating!!

It’s! Me again. Unfortunately. I’m Native American/white mixed and in need of money pretty badly. Me and my roommate are both gay, trans, and disabled, and I’m working two jobs, one of which is seasonal and the other with big break periods bc it’s at a school.

Health insurance got back to me and denied me and I may need to try getting health insurance via one of my jobs and their health insurance isn’t…. The best…..

I need money to help me with that and money to help me able to keep rent and bills paid, food in the house, car insured and full of gas so I can get to my jobs, and also in case my health takes another random dip and puts me out of work for some time

I grew up doing this w my siblings but no one else I’ve mentioned this to seems to call it that or have even heard of it at all so I’m trying to see if it’s a weird “just my family” thing or maybe a very specific regional thing in the US or something like that, and also curious if any other parts of the world do this and call it something similar or not there
