K wheen I tell you the first things they said in that car completely eludes my grasp of the French language. Didn't get a single word. Did it matter though? No because their voices are deeper than barca's underground children cave and I'm a simple woman. Unbelievable, on my way to steal them from your grasp Justin TRUDEAU, shipping them to France. Manu'll know how to welcome them right. He loooooves having athlete's phone numbers.

I'm also really jealous beecause your hockey jerseys are so cool, colors and fit and everything. I can't possibly wear one here cause people will CACKLE OUT LOUD and shout aRe YoU cAnAdIaN (the French experience in 3 words). But I'm very much in love.

omg hello K, my love :') I adore this question!!!!!

so as a foreword to all of this, I can see how a lot of my headcanons/ideas of Suguru may be a little OOC, but they feel so true to me 😭 so in no particular order, some of the things that make him my favorite:

his ability to balance logic and emotion: one thing I love about his character is that he is a deeply empathetic, very emotionally-intelligent man, but he balances that very calmly with his rational way of looking at things. as someone who is a very emotional-minded person, I feel like he would be a really great balance for me; someone who could understand the emotional side of me, but help me come back to equilibrium when I need it <3

also adding onto that idea, I just think he has a lot of emotional depth and thinks about things very deeply. and I do as well, so I think we would have very intellectually + emotionally balanced conversations

I also think he would be a really great person to read with, have conversations about books/films with, take to museums and study art together <3 I think he has the patience + inquisitiveness to really like studying art and literature and talking about it, which I do as well :')

I also think he is SO SO handsome—could not tell you where my thing for men with long hair came from but they always get me <3 like whatever you say, beautiful. plus I have always been drawn to dark features on both men and women <3

I love that he likes to take care of people :') I feel like his love language would definitely be acts of service, and I would absolutely melt over that T^T I daydream about being taken care of by him wahhhhh, I think that's where his romantic side really shows <33

hi, k! i'm sorry for the delay :D i really hope you like it as much as i loved to write tho. melancholy but a bit hotty rodressi, hugely inspired by "whenever" by shakira.

Waking him up wouldn't exactly be a good idea, since Leo's mood could be unpredictable in the morning. Still, Rodrigo feels the need to open the bedroom curtains. The fresh rays of the sun reflect against the pale skin of Leo's chest and for a moment, it’s as if he is sunbathing in Mar Del Plata. It seems so pathetic from Rodri’s point of view, however, he can't help but imagine it: hand in hand as they walk across the sand, the soft breeze against his spine and his skin crawling with Leo's kisses on his collarbone.

The international break had come to an end and the melancholy at the thought that they won’t see each other for a long time is inevitable. Maybe Leo doesn't feel the same as him, but Rodri doesn’t care about that as he lay down beside him on the bed. It is more like a ritual. His stomach touches the sweaty sheets as his fingers carefully slide over Leo's ginger beard. He is so close, yet so profoundly far away, and it is monstrous for Rodri to think about him.

Loving Leo is like an insult to caution, but it doesn't matter. All the risk would be worth it just to have Leo Messi watching him as soon as he wakes up. The look between the restless, sleepy eyes isn't condemning. There is tenderness and desire, and the big brown eyes look extremely beautiful with the modest morning light landing on them. He is utterly handsome, a paradise Rodri doesn't even think is real. But when he takes his hand to touch Leo’s face, he feels Leo grabbing his wrist to kiss it right away. Rodri sighs a little restlessly, unable to stop shivering in anticipation under his touch.

Instinctively Leo is pulling him close, trying to get more contact through a hug. This embrace is warm and immersive. Rodri can't think about anything else, because every little piece of pain is gone. He spent so much time chasing Leo, he didn't give in to Leo’s vanity, Leo’s ego, or Leo’s desire to be alone. Now, finally, he is at peace and the feeling of relief almost brings a minty scent to him. That certainly comes from those sheets that have a strange color but are extremely comfortable to be on, to kiss on, to lie down.
