look I am fucking BEGGING yall to stop writing fanfic about the pjo actors. I’ve mainly seen this for Charlie and Dior but it goes for everyone. It’s weird to write fanfic abt any real ppl but especially the pjo cast since they’re so young. It’s just so weird imagine being like eighteen and seeing ppl writing fanfic about what you’d be like to date. It’s creepy and I’m begging yall to let these people live their lives

Monday May 8.
so bad, but so good: dad jokes.
You ever heard the phrase, it's so bad, it's good? Well, the theory goes there is a particular point at which the bad quality of a given subject (e.g.: a film, a song, a fashion trend from a particular decade) reaches a point of such specificity and intensity, that it moves beyond this point and is reborn as something not bad, in fact, but good. It is hard to explain, and this metamorphosis from something so poorly constructed it becomes something inexplicably brilliant is perhaps only quantifiable by an as-yet-undiscovered science. Films are an ideal example of the bad/good paradox: just take Battlefield Earth (2000), starring John Travolta, who has made quite a name in a range of such films. Then, just three years later, writer, director, producer, and actor Tommy Wiseau released The Room (2003), perhaps the most notorious yet celebrated example of the genre. There is another such example of so bad, so good phenomenon in popular culture: the #dad joke.
Indeed the real beauty of the dad joke is something altogether profound. Its joy stems not from its wry intellect, or capacity to surprise, but from its wholehearted embrace of the naff, the lame, of everything that is joyfully, carelessly bad. The dad joke is the antithesis of trying, a liberating acceptance of its own narrow limits, and of its own wince-inducing quality. The dad joke does not try; it simply is.
Get your week off with the start it needs and deserves with this nourishing selection of #dad jokes.

As a psychotic system who is quoigenic, please do not use psychosis as a scapegoat for your anti-endo sentiments. You do not get to sit there and say "endos are just psychotic, not actual systems". Our system experiences do not come from our psychosis, but even if they did, would that mean we deserve to be harrassed?
Delusions and hallucinations are worsened for a lot of psychotic people by active harrassment and/or denial. If someone actually is a system due to a delusion, they are just as real as anyone else because you know what? They feel like they are, and that will not be changed with any amount of yelling at them or putting horrible asks in their inbox. Their percieved reality is altered but they feel the experiences of being plural and we are not qualified to go around accusing people of being less real. Feeding into delusions can also cause harm and every psychotic person is different, but harrassment will not help anyone.
You let your hatred of a community of plurals just trying to exist bleed into ableism toward others who are already so stigmatised. You do not care about psychotic people or disabled people at large, you only care about pushing your hate forward. We are not your "gotcha" card.

Atlantis isn't real. Say it with me now in your outside voice. ATLANTIS IS NOT REAL. If you spout off about Atlantis in relation to your "ancient secret teachings,” you need to check your sources a little better.

Because apparently this needs to be explicitly stated. Again. "Elriels" have never said that Illyria as a whole was irrelevant to the plot going forward. To insinuate this suggests you read all of our posts in bad faith.
It would make exactly zero sense to ignore a land that forms such a large chunk of the Night Court; the land from which three of the main characters hail. The land about which Elriels have also theorised, mind you, in terms of its people and powers. Elriels discussing Illyria isn't new, although the ideas posted today were in that they haven't been mentioned publicly before - though I remember when @wingedblooms suggested this a couple of years ago now, and it appears she may be right!
What we have said was that:
Azriel didn't need to make nice with the society that stood by and allowed him to be abused for a decade of his childhood, which let all three bat boys' mothers be treated abysmally, in order to complete his character arc.
Dealing with any lingering rebels, and putting work into progressing homegrown attitudes towards women and other minorities would have to come after the intergalactic death gods have been dealt with.
It might even be part of any future books, beyond this trilogy.
If that is facilitated by a magical rot* being removed from the land in the process of Koschei and others being defeated, as @wingedblooms and @silverlinedeyes suggested, then it doesn't change anything that Elriels have said about Azriel and his relationship with his homeland or people, or what we have previously theorised in terms of the plot.
* This magical rot is also a much more extensive issue (as in the magic itself, not the way women etc are treated in SJM's Illyria, that absolutely needs to change), in that there are more barren and/or rotting lands that will likely be revived. Hybern. The Hewn City. The Middle. The Prison. Spring! Multiple lands will be reborn.

I’ve said it once I’ll say it again for those in the back. Because even I , who post REGULARLY, have been getting these messages lately
👏STOP👏HARASSING👏CREATORS👏
“But they’re taking forever-😭”
THEN YOU’LL WAIT FOREVER
“They’re my favorite creator-“
THEN STOP HARASSING THEM AND BE SUPPORTIVE DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO ADMIT WHEN YOU LOOSE INTEREST IN A PROJECT? IF YOU REALLY SUPPORT THEM THEN YOU’LL SUPPORT THEM EVEN IF THEYRE NOT GIVING YOU ANYTHING
“They left it on such a cliffhanger-“
THAT DOESN’T CONSTITUTE THE RIGHT TO THREATEN PEOPLE DENNIS
I DONT CARE YOUR ARGUMENT BECAME INVALID WHEN YOU STARTED BULLYING PEOPLE. LET PEOPLE LIVE THEIR LIVES STOP HARASSING THEM
This has been Charmy saying “stop being a jerk”😘

Annabeth’s journey was never about being blonde. It was never about having gray eyes. Annabeth’s journey was about misogyny. About being underestimated and undervalued simply because she was a girl. Something that young girls faced in 2005, and unfortunately still face in 2022. I’m excited to see Leah inspire a whole new generation of girls that they can be smart, caring, loyal, and strong just like book Annabeth inspired so many. If you continue to argue for book accuracy when it comes to looks, when the author of the books says that it doesn’t matter, that’s just racism.

Just Stop makes a very good point
Okay so I was watching Just Stops "Helluva Boss is So Endlessly Confused" and he makes a very good point. Here's the quote:
"And speaking of serious consequences, we're told across the series that the imps being found out could lead to them and by extention, Stolas, getting in trouble. But we're never given a explanation why. What exactly are people of the living world going to do if they find out humans are real and people exist. Become better people so they don't end up in it?"
This is a very good point. This is something I've always wondered. Like genuinely, what would people do? Yeah they could kill the IMPs but that's about it. Is it about stealing the Grimior? Well if a human gets ahold of the Grimior, we've seen Stolas can go to the human world without the book. He could just go to the human world, get the book back, then leave!
Hell this leaks over to the Dhorks episode! Like genuinely what is the higher ups in Dhork gonna do? Also, this is a side point that makes me mad. Why is the new video evidence going to make a difference? The episode started up with video evidence of the IMP! It would be diffrent if they didn't have those videos. Like here, instead of video evidence they have Blitzø's drawings, a coffee cup from hell, random trinkets one of the IMP left behind! That would make more sense!
I suggest you watch Just Stops video. It makes good points and it's just a good watch.
(Honetsly his video is all what the Hazbin Critical community is saying.)

Following up with my previous blog,
This doesn’t just apply to one fandom, it applies to every anime fandom. Majority of the popular anime are about teamwork and friendship that portray strong platonic relationships.
Yes, surprisingly (for you), friends can feel heavily for each other without romance involved,
Yes, surprisingly (for you), males can be more than a romantic partner or homosexually involved, they are allowed to have best friends they deeply care about. The belief that males can only be involved in forms of romance or sexually is very toxic and misogynistic.
And yes, surprisingly (for you), it is completely possible (and common) for male best friends to be hung up on the other if they lose them. It is genuinely disgusting to twist grieving into something romantic.
Platonic relationships can be just as strong, if not, stronger than romantic ones. Because platonic relationships can be pushed further into sibling-hood.
Genuinely shameful. It’s like these people have never experienced a strong friendship. And to turn an anime that solely focuses on friendship and teamwork into something entirely else—seriously?
Leave the characters and the story be. It’s embarrassing.
