Just started reading a propper sapphic novel, The Jasmine Throne and like... Is this what straight people feel when they read romance??
It's intoxicating.
Every scene is so powerful and heady. It's delicate and it hits me like a sledgehammer. It draws me in like romance never has before. Shit, no wonder I always felt like I was missing something in Twilight or whatever, it's like trying to get drunk on root beer.
i NEED someone to draw the dead drop scene from the dawn of yangchen. it’s so funny. one of my favorite scenes of the book. i go back to reread it and just laugh hysterically the whole time
thinking about frankenstein's monster again, not anything in particular just kinda brain rotating him like he's the well liked side character of a bad shonen anime
Well, it’s official. Fool’s Fate is the most emotionally devastating book I’ve ever read, and I’ve read some tough ones. The whole trilogy was truly great (at least up until the very end; still hate some choices there though am reassured by there being one more to come) but A Lot. I am honestly glad the Rain Wild Chronicles is next because I don’t think my heart can take more of Fitz’s story at the moment.
