“Hi baby, how was work?” You call out from the kitchen at the sound of the front door closing. You didn’t get a response back, your ears only met with the light sound of shoes being kicked off and small shuffles of feet on carpet. Curiosity getting the best of you, you peep your head around the door looking into the living room to see an exhausted Wooyoung flopped face first on the couch, an arm and leg dangling off the edge. Keeping quiet you slip back into the kitchen to quickly fix him up a coffee in hopes it brings a bit more life back to him.
“Hey there sleepy head.” You whisper walking up to him, mug in hand.
“I made you some coffee you look like you need it.” Wooyoung opened one eye to give you an offended look before sitting up.
“I look that bad huh?” He chuckles sitting up and taking the mug from you.
“No it’s not that, just you’re not usually quiet like this.” He smiles lightly before taking a sip of his coffee, letting out a low “Ahh.” at the taste before going back for another sip. While Wooyoung is busy drinking his coffee you take that time to gather a few blankets together, bringing them back ready for the both of you to cuddle up with a movie.
His eyes widen with a little sparkle as he sees the blankets in your arms knowing what was in store for the night and he really couldn’t wait to just relax with you in his arms.
“What do you want to watch?” You ask throwing the blankets onto the couch and finding the remote.
“You pick, I’m good with whatever.” He says shooting you his signature smile as he wriggles his way under the blankets leaving a gap for you to crawl into. You quickly throw on the first Rom-com that came to mind and slid yourself under the blanket next to Wooyoung who quickly wrapped his arms tightly around your waist, tangling his legs with yours in the process.
“You could have waited for me to fully sit down first.” You giggle.
“Nope, cuddles now please.” Wooyoung says quickly, words becoming muffled as he buries his face in the crook of your neck making you laugh even more.
You half expected Wooyoung to do his usual running commentary throughout the movie, it surprisingly never annoyed you, his commentary was hilarious especially if it was a movie like the one you had on, but today he didn’t do it. You weren’t complaining about the silence from him, sometimes it was nice when he finally shut up, you just guessed he was that tired from work he’d probably nodded off already. You wanted to turn your head to see if he was awake but at the same time you didn’t want the slightest movement to wake him if he was asleep, so you opted to stay as you were, focusing on his chest rising and falling steadily against your back.
You were only halfway through the movie when Wooyoung caught your attention once again. He didn’t say anything to draw your attention to him but the small way he started to fidget and the way his breathing seemed to have become uneven made you wonder what he was doing.
“Hey baby, you okay?” You ask trying to turn your head to face him but his own head in the crook of your neck stopped you doing so. He simply nodded against you in reply humming a little instead of using words. You didn’t think much of it and let him settle back down, but then you realised what he was doing, or more likely what he was trying to do. You could feel his hips lightly grind against your ass, his pace so slow you wouldn’t have noticed if you weren’t already focused on how he was acting. You could feel how he was trying to keep his breathing under control, the way he tried to mask his laboured breaths made what he was doing all the more obvious to you.
You didn’t want to bring attention to what was going on, you knew he was tired but needed some form of release and the exhausted state he was in you knew normal sex was off the cards for the night so you left him to do what he needed to do in order to relax. Wooyoung’s grip on your shirt tightened as he tried to press himself against you more but still leave you unaware, he wanted to make a noise, any noise but bit down on his lip to hold it all back.
You never would have thought something like this would be so hot, if someone had told you this sort of thing had been done to them you’d have looked at them with a grimace on your face but now that Wooyoung was doing it you changed your mind, his short breaths fanning your neck made you smile to yourself as you tried to continue feigning innocence. Moving slowly so not to startle Wooyoung, you rest your hand on top of his, tracing small circles around his knuckles. While you seemed calm and relaxed Wooyoung was the complete opposite, he was so hard it hurt and the slow movements he had to make to try and get off just wasn’t doing it for him. His whole body was tense against you and you could feel the heat radiating from him, you didn’t want him to suffer anymore.
“It’s okay baby.” You say lightly, running your thumb over his hand. Wooyoung freezes the moment you speak up.
“W...What?” The strain in his voice clear as he tried to sound normal.
“It’s okay baby, do what you need to do I’m okay with it.” You smile finally being able to turn your head to look at him, his cheeks flushed and small beads of sweat starting to form on his brow all while he looked at you wide eyed at the realisation he’d been caught.
“I’m sorry.” He squeaked out feeling humiliated and dirty for what he’d been doing. With a small kiss to his nose you give a comforting smile.
“It’s okay, do what you need to.” Your tone made it clear to him you weren’t judging him and you weren’t disgusted and it made his heart flutter a little over how understanding you are.
Hugging you quickly with a tight grasp he hurries out a thank you before placing his hands on your hips holding you right where he needed you. His need came out in full force as he moved his clothed crotch over your ass, small whines escaping him as he basked in the sensation the friction was giving him, heavy breathing fanning over the back of your neck as he buried his face in your hair. You decide to give a little helping hand, pushing your ass against his crotch even more earning you a shaky moan from him as his pace picks up desperately needing to reach his high.
“F...Fuck.” Wooyoung breathes out shakily, his fingers gripping your hips tightly as he ruts against you. Peering down for a moment he could see the small stain that had formed on his sweatpants from the precum that was leaking from him knowing full well it was about to get a lot bigger.
Reaching behind you, you ran your fingers through Wooyoung’s hair, shivers running along his spine and cock twitching from your sudden touch made his climax hurtle closer. A string of whines and pants filled the living room, the movie you were watching was long forgotten by both of you. You could tell Wooyoung was getting close, his hips slowing down ever so slightly and stuttering with each thrust as his breathing gets heavier and his moans grow higher in pitch. You lean your head back to place a gentle kiss on his temple before whispering to him.
“It’s okay baby, cum for me, let go baby.” Wooyoung never realised just how much of an effect your words had on him, there was no sultry tone to your voice, just your normal soft way of speaking but the dirty words that spilled from your lips to him made him fall from the edge. A long low groan leaving his throat as he held your hips firmly against his now still ones, holding you so tightly against him you could feel his cock pulsate as he came.
You let Wooyoung calm down for a moment before making any sort of movement despite you desperately wanting to warp your arms around him. You couldn’t help the small smile that covered your face when you felt Wooyoung press small kisses to your neck as his fingers traced small shapes over your hip.
“Woo, what are you doing?” You giggle turning to look at his flushed face.
“I’m going to make it up to you, it’s not fair I got to cum and you didn’t.” Your smile widens over how sweet he is but you knew to hold yourself back for tonight.
“No baby, it’s okay, you’re exhausted and so am I, you just needed that release so don’t worry about me baby.” Wooyoung pouted lightly at your response feeling a little bad about leaving you out but he couldn’t deny that you were right, he was struggling to keep his eyes open as it was.
“Okay baby, but I promise I’ll make it up to you tomorrow.” He says kissing your neck once again.

You could see your breath come out as a small cloud every time your best friend Changbin made you laugh as you walked down the cold streets to your destination. Nights like this were a regular thing for you and Changbin, you’d been friends since school and despite his busy schedule from being an idol you both always managed to find some time to hang out. Approaching your favourite fast food restaurant Changbin did his usual stunt that always made you laugh, rushing to the door and opening it with a bow.
“M’ lady.”
“Why thank you kind sir.” You laugh playing along with his act which made him follow in laughter.
“Okay rock, paper, scissors, loser buys food.” Changbin suggests and you’re all for it, you always liked a harmless bet especially if food was the prize.
“You’re on.” It takes a few rounds for a winner was decided. When you pulled paper to his rock you couldn’t help but jump up and yelp with joy while he threw his head back groaning fishing his wallet out of his pocket.
“I didn’t wanna play anyway.” He pouts as you look at him with a raised eyebrow
“It was your idea dumbass.”
“Yeah , yeah okay, your usual?” You nod and head off to find a booth for the two of you.
It’s not long before Changbin is walking back over to you with a tray full of food, sliding into the booth opposite you.
“You owe me next time.”
“Hey, it was your idea to play rock, paper, scissors and you lost, like usual, so I don’t owe you anything.” You smile taking your food from the tray and pushing it to one side out of the way.
Before he’s able to take a bit of his food his attention is drawn to the door as it opens, seeing two very familiar faces walk into the restaurant. It takes him a couple of seconds to realise it really was who the thought it was before calling over to them.
“Wooyoung, Mingi!” He calls out, drawing the attention of not only the two men but also a few others seated around you as he waved them over.
“Wha...”
“They’re other friends of mine, they’re fellow idols but they work in a different company. Trust me you’ll love them.” Changbin smiles at you before shifting his eyes to his friends. The two exchange a few words before the shorter one makes his way over to you as Changbin gets up to pull him into a quick hug.
“How’re you doing man, come, take a seat.” Changbin gestures patting the seat next to him.
“Thanks, we’re not interrupting are we?” The man asks giving you a glance and a smile.
“No, no, it’s fine. Wooyoung this is y/n, y/n this is Wooyoung.” Changbin introduces and Wooyoung hold his hand out for you to shake. His eyes met yours and he was instantly smitten with you, the way your eyes seemed to sparkle and your smile so warm and welcoming. He suddenly felt a little nervous, wondering if his hand was sweating as you shook it or if his eyes were on you for a moment too long making him look like a creep. Kicking himself mentally he knew he needed to calm down and keep his cool.
“So you’re the famous Wooyoung I’ve heard so much about.” His eyes widen at what you said, a bit taken aback.
“Changbin’s told you about me?”
“Of course man,” Changbin pipes up. “I talk about you all the time, you’re one of my best friends why wouldn’t I?”
“Oh stop, you’ll make me blush.” Wooyoung says covering a cheek with one hand while waving the other at Changbin to make him stop talking. The two men have a small catch up and fill you in on some details, telling you a few funny stories they had. Caught up in the conversation you didn’t notice the other man walk over until he took a seat next to you which made you jump a little.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you jump, I’m Mingi.” The taller man smiles. You and Mingi became acquainted in no time.
The longer Changbin and Wooyoung spent time catching up the more you got to know about Mingi until it felt like you’d known him for years. The laugh you let out over one of Mingi’s stories had Wooyoung’s eyes back on you, and if you’d caught them you’d have seen the small look of melancholy in them.
“Woo?”
“Hmm?” Wooyoung blinks a couple of times snapping him out of his trance and bringing his attention back to Changbin.
“You good?” Wooyoung nods quickly before taking a sip of his drink, not making eye contact with Changbin and trying desperately to keep his eyes off you. Changbin looks between you and Wooyoung and smiles to himself realising what’s wrong with his friend.
“So y/n, how did you and Changbin meet?” Wooyoung finally says, looking for any excuse to talk to you and get your attention on him without feeling weird about it.
“Oh, we met in high school, I transferred to the same school and at the time I obviously had no friends there, I spent my lunches alone a lot and that’s when Changbin noticed and asked me to join him and his friends one day and since then I haven’t been able to get rid of him.” You laugh looking over to Changbin who was holding his chest feigning hurt to which you stick your tongue out at him.
Wooyoung could feel a little pain in his chest seeing the way you and Changbin interact, you’re so close and you fit so well together. He felt like an idiot for becoming instantly star struck with you knowing it could end in a lot of pain on his half. A few more stories of you and Changbin in high school and a bit of chatter later and it was time for you all to leave. All four of you walk out of the restaurant together coming to the end of the last conversation before you were stood together outside the restaurant.
“We’re heading this way, it was great seeing you guys again, we need to hang out more.” Changbin says addressing the other two men.
“Yeah we really should, when we all have a day off we should get the two groups together.” Mingi suggests looking down to Wooyoung to back him up only to see he’s still glancing over at you, not that you notice.
“Sure thing, I’ll talk to the guys when I get back and I’ll drop Woo a text so we can plan something. Well until then, see you guys.” Changbin finishes, turning on his heel to walk in the opposite direction as the others do the same.
“It was nice meeting you both.” You call over to them giving them a small wave before catching up to Changbin.
Walking back to your apartment you notice how Changbin hasn’t stopped giggling to himself and nudging you with his elbow.
“Seriously what’s gotten into you?”
“What did you think of them?” Changbin asks, stupidly big grin on his face.
“They’re really nice, I don’t know them still but from a first impression point of view they’re really nice guys and I like them. When I was talking to Mingi I thought he was super sweet, a gentle giant type of guy, and Wooyoung, I didn’t really get to talk to him much but I can already tell he’s a character.” You laugh thinking back to how he joked with Changbin and how his high pitch laugh took you off guard at first but very quickly became hysterical to you.
“And that’s why he’s my best friend.” Changbin retorts with a smug smirk.
“Hey, I thought I was your best friend.” You pout crossing your arms over your chest.
“You are you know you are, but he’s...”
“I’m pulling your leg Binnie calm down.” You laugh slapping his shoulder.
“You know, Wooyoung is a really great guy, talented too, you need to see him perform he’s really something else.” Changbin couldn’t help buy hype up his best friend to you, especially after seeing the way Wooyoung was towards you, he needed to test the waters for him.
“You’ll have to show me one day, but just from looking at him he has this...I don’t know...aura I guess, I mean he has the physique of a dancer that’s for sure.” Changbin couldn’t stop himself, he was winking at you and nudging you raising his eyebrows which makes you frown at him in confusion.
“What?”
“Eyeing up Woo were we?”
“I was just observing Binnie, the guy was sat opposite me, it’s not like he was the other side of the damn room.” You said a little too defensively.
“Ah ‘observing’ I get it, so you weren’t looking because you thought he was attractive?” His questions started to feel like light interrogating, you could feel your cheeks start to warm as a blush washes over them, but you don’t let your guard down.
“I mean he’s a good looking guy, anyone can see that.” That phrase didn’t help your case, if anything it made Changbin even worse, raising his eyebrows at you and poking the inside of his cheek with his tongue.
“He’s single~” He sing songs, mischievous grin on his face. “I can hook you up if you want.” You shove him lightly scoffing while you do so.
“Will you shut up.” You roll your eyes at him, blush still very present on your face.
“I’m not hearing a no.”
~Time Skip~
It’s been a month since Changbin had introduced you to Mingi and Wooyoung and since then it was like you and Wooyoung were two magnets, constantly finding yourselves bumping into one another. This time was different though.
You’d walked into your usual coffee shop for your daily fix of caffeine, it was quiet which you liked, it meant there were plenty of places to sit and it wasn’t loud, just the low murmur of other customers quietly talking amongst themselves as background noise. You were stood in the que when you heard a familiar voice behind you.
“Y/n?” You turn around to see Wooyoung stood behind you, eyes a little wide from the surprise of seeing you, once again.
“Oh, Hi Wooyoung, what’re you doing here?”
“I should be asking you the same, I come here everyday.” He says folding his arms over his chest with a light smile.
“Same here, how have I never seen you here before?”
“Unless we have but not knowing each other we never noticed.” You shrug thinking there was a possibility he was right, why would you remember the face of a stranger anyways? Well then again...If the stranger was as good looking as Wooyoung you’re sure you’d remember.
“What can I get you?” The barista calls over to you, dragging your attention away from Wooyoung for a moment.
“Iced Americano please.” You smile going to grab your purse from your bag, that was until you were gently moved to the side.
“Same here please.” Wooyoung says to the barista while he quickly fishes out his wallet.
“Wooyoung, what are you doing?” You hiss wanting to protest, but he simply waves you off.
“Wooyoung.” But he ignores you once again, pulling his card out and paying for both drinks.
“Why did you do that?” You pout feeling bad he was spending his money on you even though you still barely know each other.
“I can’t treat you?”
“Wooyoung, you hardly know me, you wouldn’t do that for a stranger.” He opened his mouth a little to say what came to mind first but he stopped in his tracks, the memory of the day he met you coming back to him making him bite his tongue.
“Well who says I can’t get to know you and become friends with you?” Your eyes widen but before you’re able to answer him the barista places both of your drinks on the counter. You both thank him and Wooyoung picks them both up handing you yours. You didn’t mean for it to happen but you couldn’t miss the way your finger tips brushed against his as you took the cup from his hand and you most certainly couldn’t ignore the way you could feel your cheeks heating up at the sudden contact, and now you notice Wooyoung had the same reaction, his eyes widening just a little and the tips of his ears turning the perfect shade of pink to match your cheeks.
“Thank you, I don’t want to sound forward but...um...do you maybe want to sit with me?” Wooyoung looked at you a little dumbfounded from the out of the blue request, he wanted nothing more than to spend some time with you but his conflicting thoughts were the only thing holding him back.
“A...are you sure, I really don’t want to intrude...I could just go home.” You couldn’t avoid the smile creeping onto your face as he tried to ramble his way through an excuse, clearly a little flustered.
“You won’t be intruding, I asked you, but if you don’t want to it’s okay.”
“No!” He said too quickly for his liking while holding a hand out as if to stop you walking away.
“If it’s okay with you then I’ll join you.” with a smile you motion your head towards the tables as a silent “come on then” before leading the way to a spot next to the window and taking your seats. You both engage in a little small talk to ease the slight tension Wooyoung was still clearly feeling but the more you both spoke the more he started to settle down, shoulders dropping as the tension melted away.
“So...” He starts, taking a sip of his coffee as he tries to think of a way to word his thoughts.
“How long have you and Changbin been dating?” If you didn’t hold yourself back you’d have spat your coffee out all over poor Wooyoung’s face, so instead you opted to choke. He sat panicked, not knowing what to do as you choke on your coffee for a few moments.
“What?” You manage out between fits of coughing, tears starting to brim your eyes as you start to calm down and be able to breathe again.
“How long have you been dating, he never mentioned a girlfriend so I was surprised when I saw you two together that night.” You felt bad for laughing but you couldn’t stop it and you only felt worse when you saw the look in Wooyoung’s eyes.
“I’m sorry, I’m really sorry but I just found that really funny, it’s the first time me and Changbin have been mistaken for a couple we tend to get brother and sister a lot.” You continue to laugh and Wooyoung’s face changes to that of disbelief.
“Wait...You’re not together?”
“Oh god no, never, he’s really like a brother to me, our relationship is purely plutonic and it always will be.” You didn’t hear it but Wooyoung let out the biggest sigh of relief in his life.
“I’m so sorry, I got the wrong idea, I thought you guys were on a date that night.” You chuckle at him, noting how the tips of his ears had gone pink again with embarrassment but your laughter made him feel as light as a feather. Now the guilt was gone, he didn’t feel like a tarator stealing glances at you, he didn’t mind now that his heart rate would pick up whenever he saw you and now he could think back to that tiny moment when your finger tips brushed and whole heartedly smile without feeling like the worst friend in existence to Changbin. He could now admire you all he wanted and fall even more head over heels for you than he already was.
The rest of the time you spend at the coffee shop Wooyoung starts to be more himself towards you, he’s not carefully choosing his words anymore, his comments becoming more teasing and flirty as the time goes on and for not one moment does his eyes leave you. in his mind the world could be burning down around you but as long as you’re still in front of him his undivided attention will be on you.
Before you know it, you and Wooyoung have been talking for hours and it was starting to get late.
“Ah shit, I’m sorry Woo, I have to head off.” His heart broke a little hearing you say that, he didn’t want the moment to end, he could sit right where he is and talk to you all night, but hey duty calls. Nodding in response he stands up with you and you both head to the door. Once again you see Wooyoung rushing out in front of you, getting to the door before you and holding it open, thanking him with a smile.
“I’m sorry if I kept you too long.” Wooyoung apologises once you were both outside.
“No, no, it’s nothing like that, I’ve really enjoyed my time with you it’s just I need to get home to my cat, she’s a bit of a diva so if she doesn’t get her food on time she starts tearing up my apartment.” The mental image making you both laugh.
“Do you wanna...maybe do this again some time?” His tone was quiet, like he didn’t really want you to hear him so he couldn’t get rejected.
“I’d love to, let me give you my number so we can arrange something some time.” You hold out your hand gesturing for him to give you his phone which he does in a hurried matter. You quickly punch in your name and number before handing his phone back and hurrying off down the street, turning to wave at him before turning the corner.
He was smiling like a little child feeling all giddy with butterflies in his stomach. Looking down he saw your name “y/n 😊” and smiled, the emoji adding a really cute touch, but his smile dropped when he looked at your number, it was one digit short. He ran and turned the same corner you took in hopes of catching up to you to fix it but upon turning the corner you were nowhere in sight. He felt deflated, like his soul had just been ripped right out of him. He just hoped he’d bump into you again soon.
~The Next Day~
Wooyoung had been scrolling mindlessly through Netflix for the last hour, he was bored out of his mind, house to himself for the next two days while the rest of his band mates travelled home to see family and friends while they could. Picking up his phone, now officially giving up on finding something to watch, he gave Changbin a call.
“Hey man what’s up.” Changbin calls down the phone.
“Hey, I was just wondering if you were free, I got the house to myself if you wanted to come over and play some video games or something.” He could hear voices in the background but couldn’t make out who they were or what they were saying, all he knew was it sounded pretty crowded wherever he was.
“Ah, sorry Woo, I promised y/n I’d take her ice skating while I was still in town, I’ll make it up to you next time I’m in town I promise.” Wooyoung could feel his heart sink a little. Changbin was with you and even though you told him not only that you and Changbin weren’t a couple but you also didn’t have any feelings for him, he still couldn’t help the way he felt, but he had to play it cool for now.
“I’ll hold you to that.” He feigns laughter joking with his friend.
“I promise, I’ll drop you a text and we’ll arrange something.”
“Okay, now go on have fun.” Quick goodbye’s were made and then Wooyoung hung up, sinking back further into the sofa. He wanted to kick himself for how he felt, he had no right to be feeling jealous that you were hanging out with Changbin, you weren’t his to be jealous over in the first place and for all he knew you never would be.
He kept playing images over in his head of him ice skating with you instead of Changbin, him being the one you’re laughing with, him be the one to help you up if you slipped on the ice, him being the one with his arm tightly wrapped around your waist holding you close to him to keep you steady. With a groan he rubs his eyes hard and drags himself up from the sofa, he needed to do something, anything, to get you off his mind.
Nothing seemed to help, it was now 8:30pm and all he’d done was mope around the house, mind only drifting away from you for half an hour at a time but then you’d come hurtling back, flooding his mind with what if’s. He was pulled from his thoughts when his phone beeped next to him, screen lighting up to show a text from Changbin.
[8:33 pm] Changbin: I hope you’re home, I’ll be there in a sec, I have something for you, I can’t stay though I need to get the last train home.
Wooyoung’s eyebrows furrow at the text in confusion as he text back a simple okay and telling him to just walk in when he gets there. In a way he was grateful for the text because now you weren’t on his mind, instead he was trying to think what Changbin got him and why.
It wasn’t long before the sound of the door opening and heavy pants could be heard followed by the sound of shoes being kicked off.
“Broooo.” Changbin yells, walking in to find Wooyoung, plastic bag in hand.
“We felt bad about earlier, I should have asked if you wanted to join but it didn’t cross my mind until later on, I’m sorry man, I hope these make up for it.” Changbin apologises frantically as he hands over the bag to Wooyoung. Setting it on the table Wooyoung fished through the bag seeing a wide variety of foods you and Changbin had picked out from the stalls at the ice rink and by the looks of it you guys got him one of everything that could possibly be there.
“You really didn’t have to get me all this.” Wooyoung laughs pulling out everything one by one and placing them on the table.
“It was the least we could do, but I promise next time I’m in town I’m all yours, boys day in...or out I’m not picky.” They both chuckle and Wooyoung waves his hand at him.
“It’s fine honestly, no hard feelings, it was out of the blue anyway.” They smile at each other for a second before Changbin checks his phone.
“Shit, sorry I couldn’t hang around I really need to get this train. I’ll drop you a text when I know I’ll be around next and we’ll make a plan.” Wooyoung nods at his friend getting to his feet and following him to the door practically rushing him out, the last thing he wants is for Changbin to miss his train home.
With Changbin gone Wooyoung goes through the rest of the bag, pulling out more tasty treats and a small plush fox with his name written on the tag. He felt a smile cover his face, something was telling him you had picked it out for him, Changbin wasn’t really one to get him plush toys. Scrunching up the bag he stops for a second feeling something small still at the bottom of the bag, fishing it out to find a small pink keyring with a white cat on it. Turning it over in his hands he didn’t see any writing on the tag like he did with the fox so his first though was it was yours.
[8:42 pm] Wooyoung: Hey, I found this in the bag.
[8:42 pm] Wooyoung: [Image]
[8:42 pm] Wooyoung: Is this y/n’s?
[8:45 pm] Changbin: I knew I forgot something, she put it in the bag for safe keeping and I forgot to give it back. She doesn’t live far from you, by chance could you drop it to her I’ll give you her address.
Wooyoung didn’t know how to respond at first, up until this point he’d only had two proper conversations with you and now Changbin what him to turn up on your doorstep at almost 9pm? Then again, he wanted to see you even if it was for a second and this could be his chance to get your number corrected.
[8:48 pm] Wooyoung: Sure, I can do that.
The next message to come through was a thank you and your address. Changbin wasn’t lying when he said you don’t live for from each other, you were literally two, maybe three streets over, it was walking distance. he shot up from the sofa, shoving his phone in his pocket and grabbing a jacket along with your keyring and headed out the door.
Wooyoung underestimated how cold it was and was now thanking his lucky stars you lived so close, if you were any further he was sure he’d be turning up to you with icicles coming from his nose. Standing outside your apartment building Wooyoung looked to his phone again for your apartment number before finding the button. His finger was merely hovering over it when a little old lady opened the door leaving the building.
“Oh, are you heading in sweetheart?” She asked when she saw Wooyoung standing in front of her as she held the door open. He thanked her and put his hand out to take the weight of the door off her, keyring dangling between his fingers.
“Is that for your girlfriend?” The old woman asks pointing to the keyring. “It’s very cute I’m sure she’ll love it.” She smiles widely at him. He’s a blushing mess and didn’t really feel it necessary to correct her, instead he thanked her again and watches as she walked off down the steps to make sure she was safe before he went inside.
Wooyoung never would have thought he'd be so nervous simply being stood in front of a door, his palms were getting clammy and his heart was racing in his chest. Taking a deep breath he lets his fist hover in front of the door before quietly knocking. His heart rate speeds up in what he could only assume is an alarming rate when he could hear your soft footsteps from the other side of the door.
“Wooyoung? What are you doing here and how did you get into the building?”
Fuck, he thought to himself panic hitting him with full force from the question. Of course you were going to react that way, not only has he turned up at your door unannounced and, probably in your eyes, snuck into the building but he’s also turned up without you even giving him your address. He was certain you felt like he was stalking you.
“Oh, umm...I’m sorry about this, Changbin gave me your address and this really sweet old lady let me in before I had a chance to ring the bell, I promise I’m not stalking you and I definitely didn’t break in and I...”
“Wooyoung.” You interrupt him with a smile as you become very amused by how flustered he’s gotten.
“Woo, you’re rambling again.” He stops in his tracks and nervously rubs the back of his neck.
“So what brings you here? Why did Changbin need to give you my address?” If his eyes had opened any wider they would have fallen out of his head.
“Oh, you left this in the bag with the food, Changbin said he forgot to give it back to you and he was already on the train so he asked if I could deliver it.” Wooyoung explains quickly, holing out the keyring.
“I was wondering where that got to, thanks woo.” Taking the keyring from him you bring your eyes back up to him noting how he was slightly shivering.
“Oh god I’m sorry, I’ve kept you out here and you’re freezing, come in I’ll make some coffee.” Wooyoung held up his hands not wanting to intrude but you were too quick for him, grabbing his hand and pulling him inside.
He didn’t know what to do, his feet had practically glued themselves to the floor and he was very much still aware of your hand in his and he was praying to anyone that could be listening that you couldn’t feel how much more sweaty his hands had suddenly gotten. As if it was second nature to you, you let go of his hand and scurried off to make coffee but your haste was more to hide your own blushing face, you don’t know what came over you to grab his hand like that all of a sudden but the small burst of electricity you felt when you did it made you not want to let go.
“Your place is really nice.” Wooyoung comments as he slowly shuffles his way inside, looking around in all directions, his whole body going with him as he spins around in circles making you giggle.
“How was the ice skating?”
“It was great, really funny actually.” You laugh remembering what happened.
“Changbin fell as soon as he set foot on the ice and a 10 year old came over to help him up and held his hand for a bit to guide him, it was sweet but by god was it funny.” Wooyoung’s laugh filled the room, the image of Changbin needing help off a kid filling his head.
“Oh I’ll be sure to mention that to him, I won’t let him live it down.”
“You and me both.” You both laugh.
You slide Wooyoung his coffee which he accepts with a string of thank you’s, holding the mug tightly to warm his cold hands. The kitchen is filled with light chatter and bursts of laughter as you and Wooyoung lose yourselves in conversation, talking about literally anything and everything and not for one moment did Wooyoung’s eyes leave yours, he was so concentrated on you he forgot where he was for a while, his concentration also made him oblivious to how silence came over the two of you.
“Woo?” You ask with a raised eyebrow wondering if he was still listening.
“I’ve been thinking about you all day.” He says quietly, just above a whisper. He didn’t realise what he’d done, to him those words were spoken in his head but it wasn’t until he saw your stunned face did he realise what happened.
“Oh my god...fuck...shit...I’m sorry...I thought I...just forget I said anything.” That was the last thing you wanted to do. Possibly the best looking guy you’ve ever laid eyes on had just told you he’s been thinking about you all day and you’re expected to just forget it, no way.
“Wooyoung...Do you mean it? Have you really been thinking about me?” You needed to know, you needed to know where you stood before you even thought about what your possible feelings could mean.
“Yes...But I didn’t mean for it to come out like that, a month ago you were a stranger to me but the moment I saw you I was like....well...I can’t even describe, and at the time I thought you were Changbin’s girlfriend and I tried to keep everything inside...” Wooyoung rambled on, if it was any other time you’d have stopped his rambling to save him but this time you needed to know everything that was going through his head.
“... I know I can’t help who I fall in love with but at that time I didn’t want to put my friendship with Changbin and risk, but then you said you weren’t together and it got worse from there. You’re on my mind probably every minute of every day and when I found out you both went ice skating I couldn’t help but want to be the one with you and I...”
“Wooyoung...”
“Shit...I’ve said to much...I’ll just go.” He was quick to turn on his heels and start towards the door but you lunged to grab his hand before he could get any further away. He as much as he wanted to look at you, he couldn’t bring himself to do it, embarrassment was taking over him, he’d just poured his heart out to you and he didn’t want to risk rejection.
“Woo...Look at me.” You said quietly, pulling lightly on his hand making him take small steps backwards to you before turning around.
“I’m sorry.” Was all he could manage to get out.
“What are you sorry for?” The curiosity was killing you at this point. Was this really how he felt? You couldn’t let him just walk away after all that.
“I threw all of this on you all at once, we’ve practically just met and I’m confessing how I’ve felt since the second I saw you and it’s not fair to dump all of that on you, I’ve probably ruined everything now and honestly I don’t blame you if you never want to be around me again from the sheer awkwardness and...”
“Shut up and kiss me.” You interrupted, pulling his from his babbles again.
“What?” Shocked would be an understatement to how he was feeling, he didn’t know if he’d heard you right but if he did he sure as hell couldn’t feel his legs enough to act on your request.
You could see his nervousness and caution so you took it upon yourself. Pulling his hand a bit harder this time, Wooyoung stumbled in your direction before you could his face in your hands, pulling him down for a kiss. The moment his lips met yours nervousness was out the window. Finding his balance, he waisted no time placing his hands on your waist pulling you flush against his chest to deepen this kiss. It was a moment he felt like he’d waited years for, your strawberry lip balm so sweet and addicting he could spend the rest of his life just kissing you, but the moment had to end at some point.
You pulled away, taking a well needed deep breath and couldn’t help but smile at the way Wooyoung seemed to chase your lips as soon as you parted before he opened his eyes to look at you.
“So does this mean you feel the same?” He asked, feeling more confident in himself but his voice still a little shaky with nerves.
“Of course, I would have made this move ages ago if I could have, but you’re an idol, you live a different life to me and dating is hard, also I didn’t exactly want to jump on a guy I just met.” You laugh trying to brighten up the beginning of your statement.
“Hey...If it’s for you I’d drop idol life in a heartbeat.” That alone would have brought you to tears if you didn’t will yourself to keep them in.
“Do you want to give this a try, us?” He punctuated his question with a little squeeze to your waist and you nod beaming up at him.
“Perfect. Step one to our new relationship...I need you to fix your number, you missed a digit.” The room filled with laughter and your groans from thinking how stupid you were to not double check it before you ran off, only to be comforted by gentle floods of kisses.

They were at it again, they’re like this every time you hang out. You’re a third wheel in your own relationship whenever San is around, you can’t complain though, it can be nice to see someone else on the receiving end of Wooyoung’s needy, bratty ass, it was like handing your child over to your parents so you can have a break for a while. San had invited you both over for a movie night, something that the three of you did quite regularly and every time it resulted in Wooyoung clinging to San practically begging for his attention and teasing him. This was great entertainment for you since you could just sit back and watch and not be the one getting pestered, as much as you love your boyfriend you did want to kill him from time to time with how annoying he could get when he’s like this.
“Oh come ooooonnnnn!” You could hear Wooyoung whining from the kitchen. “I told you no, last time I let you use the knife you almost took Mingi’s eye out, so I’ll do it.” Such a simple task as snacks was made difficult by Wooyoung once again, needing to be close to San and having his attention and praise. San was right though, last time they left Wooyoung in charge of chopping he got a little too excited and was waving his arms around forgetting he had the knife in his hand and had barely missed Mingi’s eye when he walked past, safe to say that was the last time you saw him holding a knife. You walked in to check on them, mostly San, and you were met with the scene of San trying, with great difficulty, to cut up some carrots while having Wooyoung practically hanging off his arm. “Come ooooonnnnnn!” You let out a small laugh before removing your boyfriend from San’s arm. “Come on Woo, let your boyfriend do what he needs to do and we can watch the movie.” His pouting stopped for a brief moment to look at you stunned over what you said. “Boyfriend!?” San couldn’t help but chuckle to himself over this. “Yes, you need to leave your boyfriend alone to do one thing then he’s all yours again.”
“He’s not my boyfriend!” He squeals back pouting his lip at you. “Woo, every time we’re with San I end up being the third wheel, you’re like a lost puppy around him. I’m starting to think I’m a cover up for your feelings over him.” You laugh as you pat him on the head shooting a glance at San who’s trying his best to keep himself together. “I am not!” he yelps crossing his arms while having his little tantrum. “Okay, whatever you say, but I give it 10 minutes until you’re back on him.”
You were right, it wasn’t even 10 minutes. By distracting Wooyoung in the kitchen San managed to get the snacks together in peace and you were all sat down to put the movie on. You ultimately ended up sitting in the big armchair since Wooyoung followed San to the couch and was practically laying on top of him while they flicked through Netflix. You took this opportunity while San was sat there peacefully and Wooyoung with his legs across his lap and head on his shoulder, to take a quick snap. “Aww, look at the happy couple.” You coo as you show them the photo. “Hey! What do you mean couple! I’m just comfy.” San couldn’t help but join in. “Aww look at you so cute.” He said pinching Wooyoung’s cheek causing a small blush to creep up. “I hate you both, I’m gonna go pee.” he grumbled as he got up. Trying to test his luck he came over to you and tried to give you a small peck on the forehead as he went past but you swiftly dodged it. “What was that fooorrrr!?” he whined stomping his feet at you. “If you want a kiss go ask your boyfriend San over there.” He shot you a small glare as he walked off to the bathroom leaving you and San giggling messes. “You’re too much you know that.” San says to you between giggles. “Well he’s obsessed with you what can I say and he’s so easy to wind up and he bites every time.” San gestures to you to swap seats with him to make Wooyoung feel a little better after all the teasing, but you weren’t done yet.
The movie was playing and because of your teasing Wooyoung was trying desperately to get your attention and affection but you were having none of it, you wanted to see how far you could push him. He’d try to subtly put his arm around you, to which you shuffled away. Then he tried to hold your hand, you crossed your arms in return. He even went to grab your ankle to put your leg across him so he had some part of you touching him, but you curled up into a ball when you caught on to what he was trying to do. He was losing his patience with you now, all he wanted to do was cuddle you and shower you with little kisses to show you how much he loved you, but he was being denied. There was a way he could get you to pay attention to him but right now was not the time nor the place to do it, he needed to get you home just the two of you.
The movie was finally coming to an end so Wooyoung was quickly coming up with an excuse to get you home fast. As the credits started to roll he gave out a huge yawn which gained attention from you and San. “is it that late already, I’m exhausted.” He said to himself more than anything. You and San exchanged confused looks. What did he mean by late, it was only 8:30. “Well y/n we better head off, we got a busy day tomorrow we need a lot of rest.” He said giving you a small nudge. “We do?” You asked a little confused. “Yes we have the thing remember?” His eyes widening slightly trying to make you get the hint, safe to say you were not getting the hint. “Ugh, I’ll tell you in the car.” he grumbled getting up to grab his things. You shrug your shoulders at San not having a clue what was going on but he brushed it off saying it was okay and he’ll see the two of you soon enough anyway.
The car ride home was pretty quiet, it was only a short trip seeing as you lived 10 minutes away, but Wooyoung did nothing but pout the whole time. “Why are you all pouty?” you ask putting your hand on his thigh to reassure him. “You ignored me most of the night.” his little pouty voice making a return. “I was teasing you, so maybe that would be the last time you ignore me for San.” you still couldn’t help but giggle over this, he was cute when he was pouting, the way he’d jut out his bottom lip and his puppy eyes. You finally get to your house and you didn’t even make it fully into the doorway before you were thrown against the wall, hands held above your head, nowhere to run to. He didn’t say anything at first, he just held you there taking in every detail on your face, his puppy eyes have now gone dark. “Woo, what are you doing?” you whispered to him. “Are you going to give me the affection I want?” his voice was low and sent a shiver up your spine. You didn’t answer his question and soon enough you found yourself being thrown over his shoulder as he carried you off to the bedroom.
You were thrown onto the bed with enough force to make you bounce a little before you were able to prop yourself up on your elbows to look at Wooyoung who was now leaning over you, both hands on the bed at the side of your hips, just staring you in the eye planning his next move. His face was just inches away from yours, you could feel his breath against you. Not being able to hold back anymore you lean up to give him a kiss, but just as your lips were about to meet his he puts a finger on your chest and pushes you back slightly. “You denied me a kiss, and now I’m gonna deny you.” You pout at him after being denied a kiss and you give him the same face he’s been giving you all night. “Yeah, it’s not so fun when the shoe is on the other foot now is it.” he says with a low voice in your ear before shoving you back down flat on the bed, his hands wandering from your hips down to your legs taking his time feeling every curve of your body before playing with the waistband of your jeans. “Now, if you promise to be nice to me, I’ll be nice back.” his fingers tracing the button of your jeans, teasing to undo them. You give a quick nod and a small whimper in reply. “I need words, will you be nice?” he looks up to you with hooded eyes not moving from where he is. “I’ll be nice.” You breath out still nodding.
Happy with your answer he slowly makes his way back up to your face still staying only inches away from you with a smirk just to tease you that little bit more before finally leaning down and capturing you in a deep kiss, a kiss he’s been longing for all night, the kiss you’ve endlessly denied him. The kiss started off sweet and tender, like it was something you’ve both needed for so long but it quickly became heated and before you knew it you both found yourselves having to frequently pull away panting for air. With each kiss his hands trailed lower and lower down your body until they found the button of your jeans again, slowly undoing it to still tease you a little more. “Just hurry up will you.” You panted between kisses which earned you a look from Wooyoung. “Now, I thought you were going to be nice, stop with the demanding, you’ll have your fun when I say you can.” With button undone and him slowly working on the zipper you were starting to lose your mind. Breaking the kiss for a moment he’d pulled your jeans and underwear off in one swift movement and threw them across the room. his hands now roaming every inch of your legs as he takes in the sight of you, this is a sight he could never get tired of. His shirt was quick to follow your jeans. He only gave you a small moment to be able to admire his toned torso before he was slamming his lips back on yours then slowly trailing kisses down your neck causing you to let out small whimpers before removing the rest of your clothes to join the pile on the floor.
You buck your hips at him while he teases the tip of his cock along your slit in an attempt to get some sort of friction between you, whimpering under him to just fuck you already was driving him mad. “Does my girl want me that badly?” he says in such a soft tone it made your head spin. “Yes.” was all that could come out of your mouth. “Yes what?” he asks slowing his movements down ever so slightly to punish you just that little bit more. “Yes....Please, please.” you whimper practically begging him at this point. As much as he would love to continue his teasing he wanted you just as bad and so accepting your pleads he gives you what you want. His first thrust was merciless as he thrust as hard as he could, taking all the air from your lungs as he did it. He gave you a second to adjust to him before delivering another, if not rougher thrust. You couldn’t stop the moans escaping your lips, you had lost all control. “That’s my pretty girl, coming undone, because of me.” he growled between each thrust, your moans and screams filling the air.
His hands trailing their way up your torso to your breasts giving them a tender squeeze, the way they fit perfectly in his hands always drove him wild. His thrusts just kept coming, consistently pounding into you hitting your sweet spot every time, lets just say, being a dancer he knew how to use his hips to his full advantage. The pleasure washing over you was so much you couldn’t hold back the single tear leaving your eye. “My girl is taking me so well she’s crying.” he lightly mocked you, twisting his hips with each thrust to hit you in a new spot each time. Your hands found their way to his hair as you tried desperately to pull him closer to you, needing his lips on yours again. “Oh Doll, I don’t think so.” He growls removing your hands from him and pinning them above your head leaving you completely helpless. “This is payback.” He whispers nipping at your ear before leaving another trail of kisses down your neck and marking you every so often just to make it know to the world who’s girl you are.
“Woo....I.....Can’t hold on much longer.” you gasp as you can feel your high approaching. “Is my girl about to cum? Do it, I want to see what only I do to my girl.” He smirks into your neck feeling you tighten around him as you get closer. Another few hard thrusts later you’re left a shaking moaning mess. The sounds coming from you and the sensation of you around him driving him over the edge as he meets his high soon after, riding out both of your orgasms until you’re left panting, sweaty messes.
“Will you mock me like that again?” He pants breathlessly still hovering above you. You can only shake your head in response still waiting for the stars to leave your vision. Giving a breathless chuckle to your response he leans down and gently kisses your nose before flopping to the side of you. “I love you Woo.” you say sleepily as you roll over to face him. “I love you too Doll.” He pulls you in to a sweaty but tender cuddle with your head resting on his chest as he gently twirls your hair between his fingers. “Come on let’s get ourselves cleaned up for bed.” he whispers tapping your head lightly to get your attention. “Just a little longer....please.”

“Miss Y/l/n, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” The dark haired man said with a smile, clasping his hands together as he leaned forward on his desk. You stood frozen for a moment, before you sat the man you met at the bar the night before, the same man who paid for your drinks and flirted with you. You couldn’t tell if he recognised you or not, he made no indication he knew who you were or that he’d ever seen you before so that was working in your favour, maybe he forgot over the course of the night or maybe he was being just like you in this moment, trying not to make it obvious he knew who you were. “Pleasure to meet you too.” You finally answer, trying to control the shakiness in your voice. “Please take a seat.” He gestured towards the chair in front of him for you to sit. Your nerves just would not subside no matter how hard you tried to control yourself, memories of last night flooded your mind.
“So,” He started, resting his chin on his hands as he spoke. “Tell me a little bit about yourself.” He was being very professional but the hint of playfulness in his voice made you wonder even more if he recognised you or if he was just trying to make you feel comfortable. “Well I had straight A’s in school and I’m currently in University studying Journalism.” He nodded as you spoke, showing he was taking in every word you were saying and the small smile creeping onto his face showed he was rather impressed with you and the more you continued to talk about yourself and your achievements the more eager he seemed to take you on. “So what made you choose us?” You had waited for this question from the start, your answer being planned out well in advance and the best thing about it was you didn’t even have to exaggerate your answer, every word was genuine. “You’re the biggest and best news company in the country and it’s been my dream since I left school to work here.” The way your eyes lit up as you spoke told Wooyoung just how much you meant what you said and from that moment his mind was made up about you.
“Well Y/n, I like your energy and enthusiasm and I’d think you’ll make a great addition to our team. What would you say about me taking you on a tour around the building?” So much was going through your mind, you were ecstatic about possibly already being accepted in but after being offered a tour you felt your palms begin to sweat. Being in the office alone with him was nerve-wracking enough but now he was extending his time with you by taking time out of his busy schedule just to show you around himself. “Oh if it’s not too much trouble I’d love a tour.” You smile back in response watching as he rose from his chair. “Right this way.” He says opening the door wide for you, his charming smile catching you off guard as your cheeks turned a little pink. As you walked past him heading out the door he couldn’t control himself, taking a quick glance at you up and down before smirking to himself.
Wooyoung showed you around the various office spaces of each department pointing out key people who you would need to know. “That office right there belongs to our main editor Jeong Yunho, nice guy, easy to talk to.” You nod along as you scan your eyes over the sleek modern office spaces. From what you could see they were all laid out and decorated the same but all with their own personal touch from whoever occupied the space, personal photos on the desks and small ornaments on shelves and tables. “And over here you’ll find Kang Yeosang’s office, he’s our Communication’s Manager, pretty ironic really since he’s one of our more quiet employees.” You couldn’t help but give out a small laugh. “Now Yeosang looks intimidating but once he’s comfortable around you he’s fine, it’ll just take a little bit of time.” Wooyoung smiles at you comfortingly as he continues to walk through the office space. “This is one of your many meeting spaces.” He says turning back to face you as he gestures to the large space filled only with a long table, chairs and a projector screen. Your eyes widen as you look through the window earning a smile from Wooyoung. “Would you like to go in and have a look around?” He’d practically made the decision for you as he swipes his key card over the door opening it for you to step in. You were too busy taking in the sight that you didn’t even notice Wooyoung standing in the door way, he didn’t bother following you in he simply let you do your thing as you got familiar with the place.
As you walked around the large space Wooyoung got lost in his own thoughts, he watched as your hips slightly swayed as you walked bringing back the memory of watching you dance in the club the night before. Of course he remembered who you were, how could he forget a face like that and even more so how could he forget the way you just shrugged him off so casually. It was no secret to anyone that he was rather popular with women and on some occasions he’d been called a womaniser, so being rejected by you and so nonchalantly at that made him feel intrigued by you.
You walked over to the large window covering the entirety of the wall, looking out at the view of the city astonished. Wooyoung, one the other hand, had a view of his own, his eyes never left you watching you intently at any chance he got. His eyes quickly shift to the floor when he notices you start to turn around to face him, not really wanting you to think he’d been staring at you the whole time even thought that’s exactly what he’d been doing. “The view is amazing.” You beam as you walk back over to him. “Hmm? Oh yes, there are a number of offices with a view like this, if you’d like I could see if there’s one available for you.” He suggests quirking an eyebrow at you and his signature smirk returning. Your eyes widen at his gesture no believing he actually meant it, you were going to be the new person, and they normally got the standard offices and had to work their way up to get one as nice as the ones you’d seen on the tour. “Thank you so much, I don’t want to be a bother though, I’m just so eager to work here any office will do just fine, you could throw me in the basement if you wanted to.” You babbled hurriedly making him laugh. It was the first time you’d heard him laugh, it was so contagious you couldn’t help but laugh along with him and the way he smiled as he did so made your heart stop for a second. “Well I’m not going to be putting you in any basement so don’t worry about that, and if it’s the view you like then I’ll do what I can to get you one.” He finishes slipping out the door waiting for you to follow. Your cheeks turn pink again, you knew he was charming but you didn’t think he’d be like this in a work place, you didn’t know how you were going to cope.
“The last stop on the tour, the break room.” Wooyoung announced as he waked you over to a small lounge area. Just like the offices, the space was very modern, sleek black couches dotted around the room, a small marble top kitchen space and a number of modern art pieces hung on the wall, even though it looked very professional it was also cosy and welcoming. You follow behind Wooyoung stepping into the room, eyes and ears met with other employees chatting over coffee. “Just the people I wanted to see too, Y/n this is Kim Hongjoong and Park Seonghwa, two members of our writing team, you’ll get to know them better as time goes.” You smile and give a shy wave hello to the two men stood in front of you. “Nice to meet you.” Hongjoong says first, holding a hand out for you to shake. “If you ever need any help with anything don’t hesitate to find us, we’ll be happy to help you get settled.” Seonghwa smiles before extending his arm out to you. “Nice to meet you both and thank you.” You smile back before letting them get back to what they were doing. Wooyoung walks you around the room going through the final bits and pieces of information he felt you should know about the building before escorting you back to his office. Just as you were about to set foot out the door of the break room your attention was drawn back to Hongjoong, “Hey Y/n, keep an eye on that one he’s trouble.” He laughs nodding his head to Wooyoung jokingly making the other two men and yourself laugh. “Behave will you, we can’t be scaring off new staff.” Wooyoung laughs along with the rest of them as he gently places a hand on your back escorting you out the room.
Once you were back stood in Wooyoung’s office you felt the anxiety that had been weighing on your shoulder since the morning lift off you, no longer feeling nervous around him you felt comfortable talking normally to him. “Mr Jung...” You started before getting interrupted by him raising his hand to stop you. “Please, call me Wooyoung, Mr Jung is too formal for me.” He smiles awkwardly. “Wooyoung, this place is amazing.” You finish not knowing what else to say without you looking like an over excited child. “Thank you, it took a long time to get here but we did it and I can’t wait to have you on the team.” You clasp your hands together tightly to stop them shaking from the pure excitement running through you, this was really happening, you got your dream job. “So can you start tomorrow?” Your eyes widen as you took in his words. Tomorrow? He wanted you to start that soon? Feeling lost for words you nod your head in reply, your mouth slightly open in hopes some form of speech will come out. “Great!” He cheered as his smile covered his face. “9am start, I’ll send Hongjoong down to meet you in the morning to show you to your office.” You wanted to scream but held on tight to your composure, you couldn’t wait to tell Clio when you got home. “Do you have any further questions before you leave?” Wooyoung asks leaning slightly against his desk with his arms casually crossed across his chest. “Not that I can think of, I just really want to say thank you for this, really this is huge for me.” He chuckles at you as he makes his way to the door as you follow behind but just as his hand wrapped around the doorknob he leans in close to your ear.
“It was nice seeing you again.” You froze on the spot, the hair on the back of your neck standing up as his breath brushed past your neck. You slowly turn your head to look at him, faces inches apart. “What?” He asked smoothly, “You didn’t really think I’d forget a face like yours now would you?” He looked at you innocently but his tone said differently, it was the same flirty tone he’d used on you at the bar, usually you’d be mortified if your boss had come onto you like this in any other setting but for some reason it was different with him, it didn’t creep you out or make you feel uncomfortable, if anything you found yourself liking the attention he was giving you. “why didn’t you mention that earlier.” You asked a little quieter than you intended, finding your words getting caught in your throat as he kept his eyes fixed on yours. “I didn’t think it was a good time, I needed to be professional.” He smiles backing away from you. “I hope this doesn’t make you change your mind about the job, I meant it when I said I’d like you on our team.” You shook your head, “It’s okay I won’t change my mind, I just ask that you don’t keep information like this from me again.” You chuckle nervously as you try to avoid eye contact. He gives a simple nod before opening the door for you. “I look forward to seeing you around.” He smiles as you say your goodbyes and walking out.
Leaving through the main doors of the building you quickly pull your phone from you pocket to call Clio. “Hey girl, how’d the interview go.” Clio sounded peppy as usual as her excited voice rang through the phone. “Are you free right now? I’ll tell you everything over coffee.” You hear a small squeal from her side before she hung up.
You sat in your usual spot at the café when Clio came running through the door flying into the chair opposite you almost falling over. “Tell me everything.” She said out of breath as she looked at you with wide anticipating eyes. “Well first off...” You paused just for effect, smiling as you watched Clio slowly leaning closer to you waiting for you to continue. “I got the job.” Clio screeched with excitement earning her a few dirty looks from other customers who were trying to enjoy their coffee in peace. “I’m so happy for you congratulations!” You can’t help but smile as you watch your best friend vibrate in her seat from how excited she was for you. “And now here’s the bit that’s going to kill you off.” If Clio wasn’t ready to explode before she was now, she hated that you kept pausing between everything you said, the anticipation was eating away at her. “Do you remember the guy from last night?” You ask taking a sip of your coffee while she thought. “Ew the creep who was basically grinding on you?” She asked, a look of disgust taking over her face. “No not that one.” You laugh almost spitting your coffee out. “The guy I told you about when we got home, the one at the bar.” It was like a light bulb appeared above her head as she remembered. “Oh the hot one that bought our drinks.” You scoff at her wording, she wasn’t wrong but now having to reference your boss as hot felt a little out of place. “Yes that one. Well it turns out he’s the CEO of Ocean Media.” For the first time since you’ve known her you found Clio lost for words, if her jaw could drop any lower she’d have to pick it up off the floor. “You’re lying.” She chuckled once she gained her composure back. You shook your head in reply taking another sip, “Nope, dead serious, google Jung Wooyoung and you’ll find him.” It didn’t take even a second for Clio to pull her phone out and punch his name into the search bar. “Fuck off!” Was all she could manage as she scrolled through the search results. “Yep, crazy right?”
“Did he recognise you?” She asked not taking her eyes off her phone. “Well he treated me like any other person coming for an interview, he did the usual questions and even took me on a tour of the building and introduced me to some of the staff, so I thought everything was cool, until he dropped it on me that he knew who I was as I was about to leave.” Your cheeks flushed once again as you remembered how close he was to your face and the way he spoke to you. “Y/n this is insane, you do realise this shit only happens in movies right?” You laugh at her as you shrug. “Well I guess not anymore.” Finally taking a sip of her coffee, Clio starts to calm down. “So how’s that going to work for you now, you know, him being your boss and all?” You had to admit the thought never crossed your mind. “I guess I’ll have to see how tomorrow goes.”

“Y/n, can you do us a huge favour.” Your boyfriend San looks at you with the biggest puppy eyes he could manage, you knew he was up to something when he had this look, but he was so cute at the same time you just couldn’t help but give into him. “What do you want.” You smile at him awaiting his request. “Can you by chance go into town for me I need a few things picked up, I would go but I have work that really needs to get done.” His puppy eyes now joined with a pout in an attempt to sweeten you up. “Okay, only because you have work to do. What do you need?” His face lights up as he rushes to his desk to get the list he created for you. “San, baby, this list is massive, do you really need all of this.” You say with furrowed brows as you scroll your way through the receipt length list. His big eyes and pouty lips make a return. “I really do so please.” He begs peppering you with little kisses. “Okay, okay, since you asked so nicely.” You grab your things to head out but you’re stopped in your tracks when your other boyfriend Wooyoung makes an appearance. “Ah, I y/n going shopping, I need some things too.” He squeals as he waves his list in the air. “Woo that list is longer than San’s, can’t you get it yourself.” You complain as the list is placed on top of the one already in your hands. “I have work to do.” He whines as he tries to imitate San’s cute face but failing miserably. “You never do your work, why the productive attitude all of a sudden?” You laugh knowing full well that Wooyoung was one to put off work until the day before it’s due. “It’s due...Tomorrow.” He mumbles shuffling his feet. “okay, okay, I’ll your your things no go work.” You shoo him off to do his work before you walk out, lists in had ready for a long shopping trip.
Woo and San Pov
“Is she gone.” Wooyoung whispers around the corner. “Give it a minute to make sure it’s all clear.” San whispers back making his way over to the window watching you get into your car and driving off. “Okay, it’s clear.” Wooyoung comes bounding back into the room full of excitement. “She’ll be gone for around 3 hours that gives us plenty of time to get everything ready.” San said heading to the kitchen and pulling out the food ingredients he’s kept hidden for the last 2 days. “Can you give me a hand in getting food prepped then while I’m cooking could you get the room and table ready?” Wooyoung was so excited to be helpful he couldn’t help but let out an excited squeal. San gave him a light chuckle before giving him a kiss on the cheek and walking off to get started on food with Wooyoung following close behind.
Food preparations were going well, everything was ready to go, the dessert San and Wooyoung made together was setting in the fridge and while San was busy cooking the main meal Wooyoung was prepping the room, he’d laid out a nice table cloth, set the table with the best table wear you had to offer and the last job on the list was to light a load of candles around the room and on the table but that was to be done when you were almost home. Wooyoung stood back and admired his work, a wide smile creeping onto his face. “Do you think she’ll like it?” Wooyoung asked making his way over to San peering over his shoulder to watch the food cooking. “She’ll love it, you did a great job.” San coos leaning his head on Wooyoung’s. “Do you think we should give y/n a call so she can make her way back?” Before answering Wooyoung, San turns to check the time realizing you’d already been gone 2 hours. “Yeah I’ll give her a call now, I’m gonna have to make it a bit dramatic so she hurries home, you okay with that?” He asks with a wicked smile on his face, Wooyoung giving the same smile in return knowing exactly what he had in mind.
Your pov
You’d been walking around town for what feels like forever and you were only now getting to the end of San’s list, you didn’t even want to look at Wooyoung’s. You were about to walk into your next store when your phone began to ring, it was San. “Hey, how’s the work coming along?” you ask trying to cover your exhausted tone. “It’s okay but you need to come home.” San answered sounding a little panicked. Your heart started to pound at the tone of his voice. “San, what did you do this time?” Your voice started to shake. “Wooyoung was messing around and he fell, pretty badly, I think he’s broken something I need your help please come home as fast as you can.” While you were in a blind panic in the middle of town your boyfriends were at home trying to keep their laughter in, trying not to break the ruse. “I’ll be home in 15 minutes don’t worry.” You hang up the phone and rush back to your car, the shopping now the least of your worries.
You get home leaving the shopping in the car, your main priority right now was getting Wooyoung to a hospital. You burst through the door breathing heavily only to be met by Wooyoung stood in front of you, not hurt, perfectly fine. “Woo, what happened? You look fine...Why are you smiling like that?” Your panic now turned to confusion as you look at the huge grin plastered on your boyfriend’s face. “Come with me.” He whispers covering your eyes and leading you to the dinning room. “I love you, I hope you know that.” he giggles into your ear and pressing a kiss to your cheek before removing his hands from your eyes, letting you take in the sight of the candle lit dinner laid out in front of you. You were lost for words, everything was so beautiful the table was like something out of a romance movie, the smell of freshly cooked food hitting your nose and not to mention the sight of your boyfriends stood in front of you, looking so handsome and their smiles alone brightening the dim candle lit room. “What is all of this?” You finally manage to say not breaking your stare from the table. “We did it.” Wooyoung sang happily, pleased with your reaction. “We wanted to surprise you, that’s why we sent you out with stupidly long shopping lists, we needed you gone for a while without looking suspicious.” San beams, also happy with the response. “You did this for me?” Your eyes started to fill with tears, the love you felt was so overwhelming, they were too much, too sweet. “It’s all for you.” They say as they bring you into a hug seeing how emotional you were getting. “You guys are too much. Thank you.” you give them both light pecks before San pulls away. “Come on take a seat, the food will get cold.”

Pulling out her phone Amber flipped the device between her hands, internally debating on if she should tell her best friend and work colleague Lisa what she witnessed. The short walk to her desk gave Amber a little amount of time to cook up ideas in her head about how she was going to stir up a little trouble between you and Wooyoung. She still wasn’t 100% sure what she’d walked in on but what she did know was there was a pit of jealousy brewing inside her. If this was anyone else she would leave it be and mind her own business, let them carry on to their heart content, but it wasn’t anyone else...it was Wooyoung.
She decided against telling Lisa, well not yet anyway, she would wait until the coast was clear from you. One of the perks of being a secretary was knowing other people’s rotas and from what she knew, you were going to be out of the office for two days, just enough time for her to stir up shit.
The next day Amber is quick to start her antics. She patiently waits for an hour to pass after your start time, only to be safe with her knowledge of your rota and with the fact you definitely weren’t going in to work. With no show from you she jumps straight into her plans.
[10:08 am] Amber: Hey Lisa, are you almost here?
[10:10 am] Lisa: Yes almost there just picking up a coffee on the way, want one?
[10:11 am] Amber: Please, and when you get here I have something to tell you.
[10:11 am] Lisa: I’M RUNNING!!!!
It didn’t take long before the sound of heels rapidly clicking on hard wood floor could be heard.
“I’m here! I’m here!...Shit...I’ll clean that up later.” Lisa yells running as best she could with two coffees in hand, spilling one slightly. She places Amber’s coffee in front of her and scurries over to her seat, turning to face Amber wide eyed and out of breath.
“Spill.”
“Well firstly I want to ask you what you think of the new girl, Y/n?” Lisa’s wide eyes disappeared, she felt it was a weird place to start the conversation but she went with it.
“I haven’t really met her, she spends most of her time either in her office or working with Mr Jung, but from what I’ve seen she seems like a nice girl, eager to work and asks questions. I think she’ll fit in well here.” Amber nods along as Lisa talks, she didn’t expect Lisa to give such nice words about you but then again that was Lisa, always seeing the best in people.
“Interesting, do you find her a little...odd at all?” Lisa was confused, she had no reason to find you odd, like she said she barely knows you.
“I don’t think so why?”
“Well you’ve seen her with Mr Jung, don’t you find it a bit odd or maybe even desperate the way she practically throws herself at him, you know like yesterday, she was constantly asking when he’d be back from his meeting and as soon as he was back she was straight in his office, she’s like a lost puppy around him.” Of course Amber had to exaggerate for the sake of her plan. Yes you’d asked if he was in but that was only once and the second time you’d asked was to make sure he was back at the time she’d told you.
“Now that you mention it, she does spend a lot of time with him.” Amber smiles to herself, she’s got Lisa’s frame of mind exactly where she needs it.
“Now time for the hot bit.” Lisa’s ears pricked up as she sat forward, coffee cup held tightly in both hands.
“Yesterday afternoon I went to tell Mr Jung about a phone call that came in for him and when I went into his office I found him with y/n.”
“That’s nothing new there Amber, everyone knows they’re working together at the moment so of course she’d be there.” Lisa sighed slumping back in her chair a little disappointed.
“Yes, but when I saw them they were in a very...let’s just say...compromising position.” Lisa was sold, this tea was hotter than anything she’d read in a gossip magazine.
“Like they were...”
“Well I was quickly shooed out of the room but from what I saw, y/n was sat on his desk, legs wrapped around him. I’d bet every penny I have that if I didn’t walk in then something would be going on.” Lisa’s face was a picture of intrigue, her mouth hanging open slightly wanting to ask so many questions all at the same time.
“Do you think they’re fucking?”
“Well if how I caught them yesterday is anything to go off of I think they are and from how cozy she’s been with him I think it’s been going on for a while, maybe she’s doing it to get a full time placement.” As much as Lisa was loving the gossip she couldn’t help the look of concern that took over her face.
“And how do you feel about all of this...you know...since...”
“This has nothing to do with me and how I feel about it.” Amber interrupted before Lisa could finish her thought, the jealousy was building up inside as it was, she didn’t want to make it worse by talking about it.
“Okay, so what do you think we should do with this new found information?”
“Well it would be a shame if it was to spread like wildfire around the office wouldn’t it? Maybe we keep it between the two of us.” Amber winks knowing full well Lisa knew her intentions.
And spread like wildfire it did. It went around like a whisper game, starting off as a small “did you hear about this” and snowballed into a whole story, everyone adding their own little bits of information as it went around the office.
Walking into the break room, mug in hand, Hongjoong was ambushed by Seonghwa his fellow writer. Seonghwa bolted up from his seat, running over to Hongjoong grabbing him by the shoulder.
“Have you heard what’s going around the office since Friday?” Despite it being noon it was still too early on a Monday for Hongjoong to play guessing games let alone really talk to anyone without having a sip of coffee beforehand.
“Seonghwa, you know me better than anyone here, I have a strict rule of not talking to anyone before coffee, give or take a few exceptions, so no I haven’t heard.” He replies, voice monotone as he walks over to the coffee machine and brewing his first coffee of the day.
“Well you obviously know...”
“Ah, ah, give me one minute to get this coffee in my system first them tell me.” Hongjoong instructs picking up his now full mug and walking over to where Seonghwa was sitting before he came in. Slumping down in his chair Hongjoong takes a long sip of the coffee before turning his attention to Seonghwa.
“Okay, now tell me.”
“You obviously know the new girl y/n right.” Hongjoong nodded, now very curious as to where this was going for you to be the topic of conversation around the office.
“Well I heard from Mingi this morning that word is going around that y/n and Mr Jung are sleeping together and word on the grape vine is she’s sleeping with him to get a full time placement here.”
“Nah, there’s no way.” Hongjoong scoffed.
“Man, I gotta say I think it’s true, apparently Amber walked into his office and found the both of them practically half naked on his desk.” Hongjoong almost spat his coffee back into his cup.
“You can’t seriously believe this?”
“Well I heard it from Mingi, Mingi heard it from San, San heard it from Lisa and Lisa heard it from Amber herself. I don’t know man part of me believes it.” Hongjoong didn’t know what to do. The last thing he wanted for you was for your name to be dragged through the mud especially while you’re still an intern. He couldn’t outright defend you and shoot down the rumours because...well...he didn’t even know all the facts himself.
“Look Seonghwa, I don’t think you should believe these rumours, Amber and y/n don’t exactly have the best working relationship as it is and from what I’ve witnessed when it comes to Amber she’s the type to make up rumours like this.” Seonghwa gives him a small shrug and a half smile.
“I don’t know y/n all too well yet but I’m pretty sure she isn’t into Mr Jung like that, even the thought of having to work with him has her groaning and I don’t think she’d be like that if she was sleeping with him, especially for a full time placement, she wouldn’t go to those lengths over some job.”
“I guess you’re right, but what about Amber catching them, she saw them with her own two eyes Joong.”
“And you really expect me to believe a word that comes out of her mouth, remember the last girl we had start here who showed a liking to Mr Jung she bullied her so much she left after 2 weeks.” It was well known around the office how Amber acted when it came to Wooyoung, she was like a jealous teen doing everything she could to push other women away from him.
“Oh Rosie...nice girl.” Seonghwa smiled as he remembered their ex colleague.
“So please all I ask is you take everything Amber says with a pinch of salt.” Hongjoong instructed Seonghwa, he felt a little bit of that statement should apply to himself too, just to keep in mind that anything he hears from Amber about you is most likely a lie.
Heading back to his office Hongjoong couldn’t help but take a quick glance over at Amber. She was sat where she always was, laughing about something with Lisa. He felt a pit of nervousness erupt in his stomach watching how she seemed so carefree and seeing her laugh only made him wonder if she was laughing about you, stirring up more stories to spread around. Clenching his fists at his sides he walks into his office and quickly shuts the door, mentally begging you to come back to work soon so he could warn you about everything. Then it came to him, you’d given him Clio’s number last time you were in. Pulling out his phone he hurried to find her number, he wanted to warn you there and then but at the same time he didn’t want you getting stressed on your day off, so he went for the next best thing.
[12:35 pm] Hongjoong: Hi Clio it’s Hongjoong, y/n’s colleague, she gave me your number. I was just wondering if I could ask you to give her a message from me?
[12:40 pm] Clio: Hi there, of course, is everything okay?
Once again he could feel his stomach drop, he didn’t want to lie to either of you and act like everything was peachy, so all he could do for the time being was sugar coat it.
[12:41 pm] Hongjoong: Nothing to worry about today, could you just tell her when she comes back to work tomorrow to come find me straight away and I mean straight away, no small talk to anyone, nothing like that, just come straight to me.
He’d wondered if he made it sound a little too urgent. Reading over the text he saw he made it sound like an emergency, but it was too late now...so much for sugar coating.
[12:44 pm] Clio: Sure, no problem, I hope everything’s okay it sounds serious.
And there it was, the confirmation that he indeed did not sugar coat it the way he wanted to.
[12:45 pm] Hongjoong: It’s tomorrow’s problem really, but I wanted to be the first to talk to her tomorrow.
[12:46 pm] Clio: Okay, I’ll drop her a text now and I’ll remind her in the morning.
[12:47 pm] Hongjoong: Thank you, I really appreciate it. Oh and by any chance are you free tomorrow night?
~ The Next Day ~
Walking through the large doors of Ocean Media, you never would have thought you’d been away 4 days. Walking through the main entrance you greet the reception staff with a smile and head up to your floor. Stepping out of the elevator you headed straight for Hongjoong’s office but on your way there you couldn’t help but notice how all eyes seemed to fall on you and hushed whispers followed. Your brows furrowed in confusion, you were starting to feel like you forgot something; was your hair a mess? Did you miss a button on your shirt? Did you have something stuck to you? You kept looking over what you could see of yourself and patting yourself down, nothing was out of the ordinary so what was their problem?
Turning the final corner you were met with Hongjoong’s name plate on his door. You raise your hand to knock but before you could make contact with the wood the door opens a crack, a hand coming out to grab you by the wrist pulling you inside before shutting the door again quickly.
“Joong what’s going on, you’re acting weird...well everyone is by the looks of it. What did I miss?” He lets out a sigh directing you to sit on one of the plush chairs in the corner of the room. Sitting opposite you he rubs his eyes with the heel of his hands before piecing together the best way to break the news to you.
“Y/n, you know I class you as a friend right, so I wanted to be the one you hear this from.” Your heart started to race, the news was bad and all that came to mind was you were getting fired.
“But before I tell you I need you to promise me you won’t freak out.” You quickly nod in response, needing him to carry on and get to the point.
“Word has been going around the office that you and...Mr Jung...are sleeping together.” Your mouth drops open, no sound leaving you. You wanted to say something but Hongjoong’s words just repeated in your head.
“And that’s not all.”
“There’s more!?” You manage to yell out before he quickly shushes you waving his hands in your face not knowing if he needed to cover your mouth or not.
“It’s also going around that...You’re sleeping with him to get yourself a full time placement here.” Your shock had turned to pure rage, fists balling in your lap as you grit your teeth.
“And who did you hear this from?”
“Seonghwa was the one who told me but he also told me this all came from Amber, you won’t freak out right?” Won’t freak out? You wanted to tear that woman’s head off he damn shoulders. You should have guessed it came from her, she’s had a vendetta against you since you started and now she’s gone as far as to spread rumours about you.
You get to your feet trying your best to look as calm as possible but the fire in your eyes and the way your fists were clenched so tightly to the point your knuckles turned white gave away just how pissed off you were. Heading to wards the door Hongjoong ran out in front of you in an attempt to stop you.
“Y/n?”
“I’m fine, just want to talk to Amber that’s all.” You say through gritted teeth leaving the room. Despite wanting to seem like you’re okay your body language is giving you away, your fists are clenched and you’re walking a lot faster than you normally do, practically jogging. Hongjoong continues to call after you wanting you to stop and calm down, take a moment to really think the whole thing over and what you’re going to do, but alas you ignore him, continuing on your journey to find Amber.
Turning the corner your eyes are met with the back of amber’s head and you see red. The rational side of you keeps telling you to not make a scene in work and that there’s a more professional way to deal with this, to calmly ask if you can talk to her for a moment and pull her to one side and talk it out like adults, but rationality was behind you now, all you knew was searing rage that only grew worse the closer you got to her.
“You!” You yelled out catching not only the attention of Amber but Lisa too who looked on wide eyed and quite frankly terrified.
“You conniving little bitch!” You spat, getting into Amber’s face as she looks at you with the most innocent eyes.
“Me, what have I done?” Her innocent tone didn’t falter for a second, you had a professional liar on your hands. Meanwhile, Lisa was in her chair watching everything unfold, unsure if she should step in to help settle the matter at hand or keep herself out of it. Behind you, you hear small pants from Hongjoong who’d caught up to you and was now grabbing you by the wrist.
“Y/n, come on you need to calm down first, you’re going to do something you’ll regret otherwise.”
“Joong, I can assure you I won’t regret putting this bitch in her place.” You shrug him off you never breaking eye contact with Amber, waiting for her mask to slip ever so slightly so you can swoop in to reveal her true colours to the whole office.
“Hongjoong, what on earth is she talking about?” She tilts her head slightly, almost ignoring you to look behind you to see Hongjoong staring daggers at her too.
“You know damn well what I’m talking about Amber so cut the shit.”
“Y/n, sweetie, you’ve been out of the office for 4 days and now you’re coming over and screaming at me so I’m sorry if I seem a little out of the loop.” Hongjoong could practically see the steam coming out of your ears and he swore if you were clenching your fists any tighter you’d cut yourself with your nails. The fact she was playing dumb with you already had you all kinds of pissed off but now she’s acting friendly and calling you sweetie was just the cherry on top of the cake.
“Oh really, so it’s not you that’s been going around saying I’m sleeping with Woo...Mr Jung to get a full time job here?” Your minor slip up didn’t help you in the slightest, as soon as you had to correct yourself you noticed the small smirk on Amber’s face that told you she had you right where she wanted you.
“On a first name basis with Mr Jung already I see.” Her words made Hongjoong’s eyes widen behind you as he frantically flicks his gaze between the two of you, his stomach sinking, he knew he should have told you what he wanted to sooner, you probably could have avoided this whole mess.
“Mr Jung isn’t on first name basis with any people, so you must be special, maybe the rumours are true after all.” You rack your brain for a second to process what she said. You clearly remember Wooyoung telling you Mr Jung was too formal for him, but then it dawned on you that hardly anyone else around the office addressed him by his first name.
“I can assure you Amber there’s nothing going on, so I suggest you take your bullshit somewhere else and leave me the fuck alone.” You kept biting and Amber continued to use that as her fuel, fuel to get you so riled up you lash out, maybe you’ll get fired, maybe you’ll leave, she didn’t care which one as long as you were gone from Ocean Media for good. Stepping a little closer to you she leaned in towards you, face close to your ear to whisper so quietly it was certain only you would hear her.
“That’s not what I saw last week, you two seemed pretty...how should I put it...close.” It was like your body had a mind of it’s own and before you knew it you’d stepped back and delivered a particularly hard slap to the side of her face, a red hand print already forming on her face as Hongjoong and Lisa look on with their mouths hung open in shock.
“Ah...” She starts, bringing her hand to her face to soothe the burning sting from the slap. “So it’s true, I didn’t know newbie was such a whore and would open her legs just to get a job.”
That was your final straw.
“Y/n no!” Hongjoong tried to grab a hold of you before you could do anything but you slipped away from him in the nick of time, his fingers only managing to graze your shirt before you’d grabbed fistfuls of Amber’s hair, walking her back to her desk, pinning her between you and the furniture. She was quick to escalate the scene also, letting out an ear piercing scream of pain that caught the attention of everyone on the floor, including Wooyoung.
Before you were able to lay another hit on Amber Hongjoong had rushed over, wrapping both arms around your waist and dragging you away from her while you fought against him and screamed abuse in Amber’s direction.
Wooyoung came rushing out to see what all the commotion was about and as soon as Amber noticed him she put on the water works holding her head and face where you’d grabbed her.
“What the hell is going?”
“Mr Jung, thank god you’re here, she’s gone nuts, I was minding my own business trying to get on with my work and she comes running over to me, hitting me and screaming at me.” Amber continues to sob as she shuffles her way closer to Wooyoung thinking he’ll protect her, all the while you’re still fighting against Hongjoong.
“You lying bitch, you know exactly what you did, don’t play innocent everyone knows it was you!” Moving Amber to one side Wooyoung approaches you making sure to keep a bit of distance in case you swung out at him.
“Y/n, I need you to calm down.” But you didn’t. He could see his words weren’t sinking in so he needed to be harsher, maybe scare you into listening.
“Y/n!” His voice rang through the room causing everyone to go silent, everyone looking at him with fear behind their eyes, everyone except you.
“Y/n, go to my office, now. I want a word with you.” You scowl up at him as you grab onto Hongjoong’s hands forcing them off you before heading towards the office. Wooyoung doesn’t watch you leave instead his attention is on Hongjoong who is looking a little hopeless.
Getting to the office you make a point of slamming the door behind you and growling to yourself in frustration. You pace the office with too many thoughts swirling in your head, you wanted to rip Amber’s hair right out of her scalp and wipe that smug ass look off her face.
“Is there anything I need to know before going in there with her?” Wooyoung asks and Hongjoong shakes his head in response.
“No she’ll be able to tell you everything. Look, I tired to stop her, tried to get her to calm down and be rational but she’s quicker than I thought.” Hongjoong sighed. Wooyoung nods before turning on his heel and heading back to his office, leaving Hongjoong alone with Amber and Lisa.
Making sure he could hear the click of the door closing Hongjoong walked over to Amber who was now smirking, clearly proud of herself for how things turned out.
“Amber, you know what you did isn’t right.” Amber looked at him, her big innocent eyes returning.
“I don’t know what you mean.” She tries again but the reminiscence of her smirk gave her away.
“Amber, seriously cut the shit, I know what you’re trying to do because you’ve done it before. You want y/n gone just like you did Rosie but I’m warning you Amber, you’re not the only one who can play games and I can assure you I now more than you think I do, so I’d be careful if I were you because eventually the truth comes out.” And with that he’d left, not bothering to hear any excuses she might come out with.
Wooyoung leaned against the door watching as you continued to pace the office, whole body shaking with the still built up rage that could explode out from you at any minute.
“I’m not going to apologise if that’s what you’re after.” You pipe up through gritted teeth. Wooyoung lets out a quiet sigh and steps towards you, standing in front of you as you turn to continue your pacing reaching his arms out to hold you by your arms.
“Y/n, I want you to calm down first can you do that for me?” His hands start to rub along the tops of your arms in an attempt to help calm you down faster but he could still feel you shaking.
“If Hongjoong wasn’t there to hold me back I swear I’d have swung for her and it wouldn’t be just a slap either, she doesn’t get to talk shit about me and I get it you’re probably going to tell me to pack my stuff and go but I don’t care I wouldn’t let it go over my head.”
“Y/n,” Wooyoung sighs again. “I’m not firing you, I just want to know what’s going on.” He steps to the side and leads you towards the leather couch at the side of the room, pushing you by your shoulders to sit down while he grabs you a bottle of water which you take with still trembling hands.
“First I need to know what you said to her last week.” Wooyoung looked at you confused and slightly tilting his head.
“Last week, before my uni day, we were in here and Amber walked in, you said something to her.” The it clicked he knew what you were talking about and he sat down next to you, hand on your thigh as he spoke.
“I told her it wasn’t what she thought it was and that I trust her to not say anything.” And that’s what makes you scoff.
“Well you shouldn’t trust her because she’s going around the office telling literally everyone that I’m sleeping with you to get a full time job and then she called a whore that opens her legs to get a job.” Just when you thought you were starting to cam down you felt the rush of rage hit you again as you spoke. Wooyoung sat next to you with wide eyes not really knowing what to say. He knows as well as you do what might have happened that day if Amber didn’t walk in and that’s what made this all that bit more difficult for him.
“Well y/n, I’m not going to say what you did was right because it wasn’t and I don’t want to do this but for the sake of being professional I will have to issue you a warning.” You nod knowing you had some form of consequence coming your way.
“And as for Amber I’ll have words with her. I like to keep a smooth running ship around here and I know not everyone will be friends with each other but I like to keep tensions down so if she bothers you again you come straight to me.” You nod again taking in a big sigh and a sip of water, your shaking easing down to almost nothing, his help and soft voice helping you that bit more.
“Oh and word of advice...If you’re going to hit her please make sure its outside of work and off work property...You won’t get in trouble with me that way and it’s also less paperwork for me to fill out.” He jokes earning a light laugh from you, he’s glad to see you’re feeling a little better.
“How much do you thin she saw last week?” You ask only to get a shrug in return.
“I really don’t know, like I said I told her it wasn’t what it looked like and judging from what she’s been say either she saw more than we thought or she’s pieced things together.”
“Such a trustworthy employee you have Wooyoung.” He can’t help but chuckle at your remark, letting it slide since he knew it was probably making you feel better getting it all out.
“Well I guess I should have learnt my lesson from last time.” You open your mouth to ask him what he meant by that but you were quickly cut off when he spoke again.
“Y/n, go home for today, tensions are high with you and I don’t need you making yourself ill with stress, I’ll be fine with the work load on my own today, just go home and relax we can start fresh tomorrow.”
“It’s fine really I can stay.” You protest.
“No I want you to go home, I’ll call Hongjoong to take you downstairs so I can be sure nothing starts up again and I want you to go clear your head and I’ll see you tomorrow.” He finishes not giving you a chance to argue back as he gets up and goes to his phone to call for Hongjoong.
